Mcdonalds in Cheshire West and Chester

Just a quick thank you to Belle who resolved an issue I had with my drive-through order in such a helpful way. Great attitude, great service.

Called here on evening 5th Aug 2024 after cinema visit, what a mistake. We ordered two Mc Crispy BBQ Smokehouse chicken bun meals. I checked the bags to make sure the order was right but what I should have done is open the boxes to make sure what was in them was also right before we drove home. The only thing that was on the "crispy" chicken in the bun was some indescribable translucent gloop that looked very off putting. There was no red onion, no crispy lettuce, no cheddar cheese and no BBQ sauce. It was basically a chicken tender in a bun. Nearly £8 for this crap with a few flaccid chips. No wonder people are not going to McDonalds any more, they are sick of being ripped off and over-charged for poor quality food .

Poor customer service. Manager argued with me because his staff got it wrong 🤪 the staff member was actually nice about it but the manager let himself down.

May I suggest folk wait & check their Drive Through order!! It may hold up the queue, but perhaps Macdonald’s will start getting orders correct - How difficult can it be?!?

Absolutely terrible. Every time we have been here they have always missed something from our order. Rang up and they advised I can go back but it’s an inconvenience with not being around the corner and this is not just a one off.

Awful mc donalds couldn't get a order correct even if you ordered one item. You might aswell ask for a mystery bag. Never have milkshakes or flurries available. Do you self a favour and go elsewhere, or at the very least check orders before you leave.

Unfortunately this is my nearest Macdonald's and it's consistently disappointing. Staff seem to hate serving at the counter and often pretend they don't see you. The tables are often not cleared for quite a while. They seem to find it very challenging to get an order correct whether you are I'm eating in or out. I once had to order a cheese burger with only cheese and onion FOUR times. I've had somebody else's entire order given to me before now. The fries are often cold and do not ever order a burger here past about 10pm you will almost certainly be ill. They also charge more than Northwich town or Winsford. No idea why as they are by far the worst one out of the three, in every way..service, hygiene, food quality and presentation. Rubbish!

My family order their food, I only ever want a Milkshake… Withouts exaggeration, I probably receive my order, 1 in every 5th trip!! Hardly a first-world problem I know, but incredibly annoying. Any reason for not having Milkshakes in Northwich?!!

Say for like 25 minutes in the drive through for a half full large milkshake, lemonade that was literally water, the wrong drink, and a mayo chicken with no mayo?? They didn’t give me any straws but at least the mclfurries were edible

We are a large family & we love a Maccies treat - this McDonald's NEVER EVER give us our full order, we always have a big order for the size of the family & there's ALWAYS ITEMS MISSING - it makes what should be a convenient treat into a waste of time & cold food for the rest while we chase the items!

Good just didn’t arrive! I went through the drive through and was asked to park up. No food came out so I went in to enquire. Everyone was clueless. Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been in. Ridiculous. Avoid this one. It’s disorganised to say the least.

Staff are always polite, they are very friendly and respectful. We have had an order that’s been incorrect.

16/08/2023 - god knows what you have done to the shakes today but I ordered 2 strawberry shakes and they both tasted vile - very strong chemical taste - I suggest you rinse the machine through thoroughly after washing it. Both ended up down the sink.

Yet again got the order wrong ! Seems to be a running trend in these places . Won't be using the facility any more , was passed my coffee at drive through lid came of hot coffee all over me...

Ordered food, got home and half my meal was missing has happened to me to many times, I don’t understand what’s hard about putting in a bag what’s on a receipt, I hope they are on minimum wage because they don’t deserve to be paid any more can’t do there job right and it’s not rocket science, managers need get a grip of there staff because people lose to much money not receiving what they paid for….

Ordered big Mac and latte , being passed latte ,lid came of coffee all over me , member of staff said not their fault, who put the lid on then , worst McDonald's in Cheshire.

3rd time with wrong takeaway order - Perhaps we shouldn’t drive away from window until we’ve checked it’s right?! That might improve their packing skills!! Does their Milkshake machine EVER work??!

Visited to day not in pressed at all came to bring my daughter for breakfast she only 4 come in to be look at like I was peace of poo came up stair to to order the screen on the ordering booths were dirty and sticky and the tablets for the kids were dirty not clean the table was not clean either this is at 10 am the silver on the toilet doors as u walked in were dirty not been ajaxing the floor was not cleaned the night before order food the double egg muffin look like it had been thrown round and the hash-brown were greasy to hell they for got my daughter drink and jam the gent that brought the food did not even say morning or nothing he came went here u go and walked off I will be writing to the own and a big report you can tell that the cleaning at night half done because the ajaxing was not to stand the place look like not even done I think they should do a surprise inspection and food inspection should be down food is poor no hygiene at-all McDonald’s should be a shamed and should sort there staff the dining area staff are not up to standard wipe half the table and leave the rest I watch him clean o e of the table he just wiped with a dry cloth did not even spray not on atall

Absolute trash, worst Maccies nationally, even internationally (I travel a lot). This is my home town, I get one regular & the order is always wrong & missing items. It's less hassle to drive a bit further to Winsford or even Warrington! Give Northwich Maccies a wide birth, town one full of rough teens, drive through you'll be lucky of you get what you ordered.

Whilst i appreciate Saturdays are busy, there is no excuse for the huge waiting times and dangerous line of cars queueing and backed up onto Manchester road, which is the main road at the junction and very busy, i can predict an accident WILL happen soon on this road/junction due to McDonalds Northwich drive (wait) through, if it doesn't improve! After waiting patiently for 25 mins in the queue, I finally get to order and pay...Then after a further 5min wait i finally get the collection window, AND once again (happens all the time!) i get asked to wait at the last remaining designated bays whilst they get my remaining order, I ask whats left on the order, they said a cheeseburger!..WHAT? a cheeseburger? Am expected to wait for a cheese burger after already queuing for 25mins! NO i said! am not doing that, i asked to speak to the manager, and a young 18yr old supervisor girl smirkingly arrived and repeated the request for me to wait, which i again refused...Its a drive through..not a wait through I said...she then said but i have all these other cars waiting behind you...so i said that's not my problem am in front of them and should be served before any of them, and that's your problem! Whilst i do feel for these young kids working there, Mcdonalds am sure must know whats happening, but just cant be bothered to do anything! They cant cope on Saturdays..at all!. They need to stop doing uber eats/take out orders and concentrate more on the drive through, after all that is what it was advertised as!..Not a wait through!...At least prioritise the cars all waiting in line with engines running and feeling stressed and frustrated. The people ordering online are all sat comfy in their own homes watching tv. Whilst you can see uber eats delivery drivers in and out with full bags of online orders quickly delivering orders which should be prioritised to the drivers! Am not going back to Mcdonalds now, this happens every time and enough is enough. I feel sorry for the kids working there as they are obviously as frustrated as the drivers. Meanwhile no managers around when asked for one! How convenient.

A long wait, no apologies and under half a portion of fries, opened the food once we got home 12 mins drive, did they deflate!

We had waited in the drive through for about 20 minutes (baring in mind there was only about 5 cars in this drive through and one of the bays were shut) I’ve worked at McDonald’s , you know how long it would take mine to get through 5 cars? 5 minutes. By the time we ordered a SINGLE DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER. We paid and went to collection window , where we was asked to park up … for one burger? I could’ve laughed in their face. We waited about 15 minutes for said burger, that’s all we had , no drink , no fries just one burger. And it. was. cold. 🤣if I don’t laugh I’ll cry, at that point we thought forget it , and drove off. It’s lucky it ain’t local to me, because I’d never go back🤣

If you want a cold McDonald’s every time then don’t hesitate to visit this store…it must be a new trend where you get cold food who knows…like who’s running this store because you shouldn’t of been let manage a portaloo nevermind anything else!!!

Absolutely appalling customer service and food hygiene. Waited 20 minutes for food then 15 minute for an extra 6 nuggets. No kitchen staff wearing gloves or beard snoods or hairnets manager ignored complaint.

Popped in to this Mcdonald's for the first time and probably one of the worst I have ever been in. Firstly they had shut off the seating upstairs so I initially struggled to find a seat to eat. On entering my order into the self...

Absolute sh@t show....unable to get an order right....IT'S ONLY A COFFEE IN THE MORNING!!!....drive through is painfully slow and no escape lane if you change your mind, unable to take orders correctly and unable to fill orders correctly....but that's "my fault" for not checking EVERYTHING....manager...

The lady cleaning the floors was very good, she helped me and others out with vaious questions and directions. This McD is very large being two storey; food is what you pretty much expect from this place, warm, full of sugars etc etc but easy...

Food order never wright, staff rude. Ordered 2 double quarter pounder meals got home instead of the quarter pounder they put on 2 bigmac patties and no mustard or pickles tried to phone up and they never answer.

only pay buy contactless, never use chip and pin. It often gets over subscribed. Food is always hot though the quarter pounders tend to be over done.

Seriously, how difficult is it to count to three. Got home and the triple cheeseburger which I purchased turned out to only be a double, despite being in the packaging for a triple. Simple things.

Food is always cold with stuff missing from the order. No one ever answers the phone when you ring to complain. This is one McDonald’s that should have stayed shut

Absolutely terrible service, after a really long day I decided to bring a treat home for my son, chose the order before I left work on the App, arrived at the store and selected collection at drive thru, waiting ages to get the the speaker...

Third & final trip here I'm afraid. I should have known better after the previous two attempts. For what ever reason they can't get food out quickly, correct or to the people. They seem happy to keep in-store customers waiting to serve the drive through....

Excellent service, staff always seem to have a smile on there faces everytime I've visited and food is spot on.

This Mcdonalds is well staffed with lovely caring people , each time we go we are always greeted by lovely smiling staff , and nothing is to much trouble for any of them , the toilets are very clean so are the tables and floor...

Honestly the worst McDonalds I have ever visited. They are slow serving your food. Most of the times I’ve been they have made some mistake. Tomato on my wrap after asking it to be taken off and such like. They need to start utilising the Parked waiting bays for drive through orders instead of just letting the queue pile up and up. Staff look like the walking dead. Honestly needs a shake up. Service and quality massively needs improving

Waited and waited for two mcflurry’s and a milkshake. My number came up and after a very long time, went! Someone after my number pushed forward as soon as theirs came up and the staff jumped to attention for them. I asked what had happened to my order and lo and behold it was waiting behind the scenes, melting! It came out with the order for the lady who had pushed in and had now gone.Is this the most incompetent McDonald’s in the UK? I think so!!

I recently visited here which is one of their newer builds and quite large. There is limited seating available downstairs but upstairs is very large with a good view of the railway line and big car park.Friendly staff and quick service. After all the hype from McDonald’s with their “Still a Big Mac” , “Not a Big Mac” campaign I thought I would give it a go and I can confirm it is definitely a Big Mac with bacon added and if you like Big Mac and bacon this is for you.Table service is offered even upstairs, and there is also a lift to get you there if you don’t want the exercise going up the stairs.Would definitely recommend a visit here.
