McDonald's in Edinburgh, City of

Every order every time is wrong, either something missing or the order is wrong, avoid. Would advise going to Cameron Toll.

I frequent this restaurant often due to convenience as I work close by. Consistently, I order take-away and pay the extra charge for a bag. But staff continue to put it on a tray!!! It clearly says “Take Out” on the receipt! Can staff not even get something as simple as this correct! Absolute idiots!

The staff here almost always get the order wrong & the medium chips are the size of the small. Last time I went, the food looked extremely unappetising & there was a bite taken out of my burger! Disgraceful.

I just ordered and my big size chips were 1/3 less than what they usually are. Also no straw for my drink. I get it is a take away service and you don’t really care, but… the service should be the same

I have held off writing this review but this has been a few years of ordering hot chocolate for them to be utterly disgusting. I go to mcdonalds dunbar berwick etc perfect cant fault them but every single time at fort kinnaird its wrong. I have just came away after my third attempt at getting a correct hot chocolate its clearly missing something milk or whatever and I was treated like I was some idiot for saying it was wrong a female staff member was whispering to a cook and he looked at me like I was mental, then a manager handed me yet another I said thanks very much drove away tasted it and completely wrong again. I just chucked it in the bin as I said third attempt. I know this is a machine that nakes this so its clearly needing cleaned or something topped up it is scalding hot I have burnt my tongue and top of mouth as it tastes just like hot water.

Ordered a meal deal table service but asked for the tea bag to be left out (as I had brought a decaf tea bag of my own). Waited a long time despite being just before lunch crowds, and thought it meant it was being cooked. It was cold and unappetizing. Tea was stewed. I find it mad that McDonalds is the only place where you can't get decaf tea or coffee. How hard is it to have decaf teabags handy? Yes i can carry my own, but when asked shy they didnt bring me the hot water only, as asked, they said that's not on the menu and you paid for tea and got tea. Kids like tea but should be restricted on caffeine. Care workers bringing in anyone with ADHD or the like cant give them caffeine. And caffeine is an allergen that can cause hive, anxiety and heart palpitations for some. ONLY place I cant get a decaf tea is McDonalds - even when I pay for tea but bring my own teabag.

This has got to be the worst McDonald’s in Scotland. Every single time I’ve been here this year they have forgot items/meals. I have currently just left there and seen they have left out a whole Big Mac meal. Paid for them both but only got one. Good is always freezing cold and staff are unbelievably incompetent. Shambles how this place is still running.

Have gone here multiple times. Food always cold chips soggy . Nothing changes here. Note all the previous reviews saying same thing. Staff are pleasant but should be embraced sending food out like this. Had to wait in bay for order to receive cold food . !!!! Not good enough.

Never use this branch but was easier as had been at the cinema with the grandkids. Because I am Coeliac I have to order at the counter. Since the refurb this place has one till and a small place at the side to stand waiting for all orders. This is a busy shopping centre and they have made a pigs ear of it! Waited nearly half an hour only because I asked for a bun less burger! Eventually got the order but one child had nuggets instead of cheeseburger and my quarter pound cheeseburger was checked in a box cheese side down so could not lift it to put it on the gf roll I had with me. Went back to the counter where they asked me to hand over my roll and they would scrape it off the box. I refused due to cross contamination and then had to wait for another bun less burger. The rest of the family had nearly finished by the time I sat down to my meal. Absolutely shambles of a branch and will definitely not be back.

It wasn’t the best weekend, overcast with occasional drizzle, with the Barbie movie already a disappointment it was shaping up to be a 5 out of 10. Everything changed after an emergency dinner stop at McDonald’s.. probably the best McDonald’s I’ve ever had, let’s be honest. Now I’m ready for Oppenheimer. Burger 7/10, Fries 8/10, Service 10/10. Ewan made my day, thanks Ewan.

Went through the drive through, ordered a meal for myself and a happy meal for my daughter. The girl at the window served me the wrong drinks then tried to argue with me to say that this was what I ordered. That was fixed and I went to eat my meal at the car park across the road, realising they didn’t put in the dips I paid for so I went back round only to be served by the same girl, again tried to argue that I didn’t pay for them. I asked to speak to a manager and to be honest with you her attitude was nearly as bad. Despite this being a fast food restaurant it shouldn’t mean customers are treated badly. Work on your staff!!

don’t go here! place is filled with clowns. not one staff member knows how to handle food. dirty floors with rat poo on the floor. it’s like high schools just dumped there idiot kids that didn’t even make it past 5th year in to a maze it’s a joke. ordered selects mozzarella dippers chips and a drink. Chicken was stale and cold chips were like they had been taken out the bag they get delivered in and dumped in the bag the dippers were cold and tasted and smelt like burnt oil. my drink was flat with no ice in it and it took 35 MINUTES! for them to actually get the order out but then put the take away order on a tray and man handled the chips that has spilled out into the bag with their greasy hands. would never recommend here could make u or kids ill

Absolutely useless staff, cold limp fries, burger looked like shaq threw it as a 3 pointer into the box. Forgot the sweet chilli sauce, so went back round the drive through, sat for ages until the 3 staff that saw me pull up finished a convo about what they were doing later, then got thrown 2 of them, no sorry, or bye. Double 1/4lb cheeseburger felt a bit dry, and on further investigation (after eating half of it) one of the parties was cold and hard (old prob). And without going into graphic detail, I've been in and out of the smallest room in my house all day. Bad, bad, bad. Manky, useless, and possibly a health hazard. Enter at your own risk

Absolutely horrible experience, gave us the completely wrong order and went we call up a man answered but after hearing what was wrong he hung up on me. Attached photo of receipt and what we got absolutely ridiculous will be calling to complain tomorrow about the horrible service, don’t recommend

Went to the fort tonight and was really dissapointed, the restaurant is very dirty the floors are so greasy i almost fell! The toilets are disgusting and the food was horrible! This used to be a clean place and always seen cleaners going around. Not anymore! Its a health and safety risk!

I’ve been in this branch numerous times over the years, but more recently I’ve noticed it’s absolutely filthy from top to bottom, Everything from the grim slippy floor to the tables, chairs, & toilets. I witnessed staff KICKING bags and food boxes out the way behind the till area. The bins are always over flowing. I would say it was bad enough to be closed down to be deep cleaned. Whoever manages this place is failing massively.

Awful service. Disinterested staff and zero evidence if oversight. This is the slowest so called fast food joint i have ever visited. Avoid.

Debo decir que los dinosaurios fueron fantásticos, y la cerámica ¡oh Dios mío, la cerámica increíble! ! ! . El Hoff no dejó de impresionar, lanzó algunas formas y rompió un surco (como siempre lo hace). Debo decir que me sorprendió ver que hoggle desde el laberinto era tan deprimente, quiero decir que ama las gemas.

Realmente no me impresionó la comida que recibimos. Nos sirvieron papas fritas como esta 2 días seguidos. No volveremos Claro para ver en mi foto las papas fritas están considerablemente sucias! ! El primer día fue peor, ya que también estaban fríos y flexibles. ¡Aún no sé cómo es eso posible, debido a lo ocupado que estaba conducir! Lo peor es que el problema no se solucionó y siguieron sirviéndolos, ¡no tengo idea de cuánto tiempo ha sido o será un problema aquí! ¡No, gracias!

Las patatas fritas eran fantásticas y me refiero a mejor, pensé. Olía un poco, pero no se puede culpar porque era una freidora muy gruesa. Consiguieron nuestra comida en menos de un minuto. Aunque estaba un poco sucio. El ambiente era bastante bueno también. Decente ya que fue mi PRIMERA visita a McDonald's.

He estado aquí muchas veces. Y siempre bien. Esto, junto con KFC, ES DEFINITIVAMENTE EL MEJOR LUGAR DE ALIMENTOS RÁPIDOS EN EL FORT WEN POR LA CALIDAD, EL PRECIO, LA VELOCIDAD ETC. Los fines de semana puede estar muy ocupado, y normalmente solo encuentro una mesa. Ordenado por tarjeta en las pantallas, ya que la cola era larga. Solicite el servicio de mesa sin costo adicional, pero la próxima vez no lo hará, ya que parece que lleva más tiempo que esperar a que no aparezca. Tomó un poco más de tiempo, ordenando pedidos especiales como sin lechuga o cebollas extra. Pero no importa, ya que definitivamente se hace fresco, y un trabajador de comida rápida le recomendó antes que pidiera papas fritas sin sal y definitivamente se cocinan frescas y calientes. Así que no hay problema esperar un poco más para eso. A mi hija le encanta la comida feliz con su sencilla hamburguesa, y luego mcflurry. Siempre recibo pollo, sándwich mcchicken o una hamburguesa con queso / hamburguesa doble, y mi novio similar. Siempre sin lechuga o pepinillo, etc. Nunca tenga un problema. La última vez fue igual de buena, y excelente precio, el personal amable. definitivamente también UNO DE LOS MEJORES MCDONALD EN EDINBURGH

Pidió la comida y la pantalla mostró un orden diferente, así que le dije a la persona que estaba en el intercomunicador que era muy grosera, me dijo que era un abogado y eso es lo que pedí. Me quejé con el gerente, pero no estaba interesado, cuando llegué a casa, uno de mis rollos parecía que tenía 2 picaduras y un agujero en la parte superior del rollo.Lo devolví y me aseguraron que nadie habría hecho esto a mi pedido. (No estoy convencido) Nunca había pasado nunca.El personal está lleno de personal adolescente con actitudes y nada más que tonterías.Mientras esperaba mi comida, los observaba quitarse los sombreros y meterse en la mesa mientras se paraba sobre la comida.Dicho esto, depende del gerente asegurarse de que estén seguros en el lugar de trabajo y que el servicio al cliente sea una necesidad.

Good enough for Breakfast when your in a rush. I like the coffee, and the cheesy flat bread. Sausage muffin is nice, but the double is too filling.

Hemos estado en este McDonald's varias veces a lo largo de los años, y siempre es muy, muy ocupados, lo que significa que puede tomar un tiempo para conseguir comida y es a veces un problema para encontrar una mesa. Habiendo dicho eso, la comida es lo que esperas de McDonald's - comestible pero nada increíble!

Visitamos la semana pasada. Estaba bastante concurrido, pero pedimos al quiosco y poner el número de nuestra mesa. La comida fue rápida, baratas y bastante agradable.El personal era servicial darme un poco de agua para mi pequeña y también el intercambio de duplicados de juguetes Happy Meal.Hay aparcamiento limitado (pero al lado de un complejo comercial con más de 2000 plazas! A través) y una unidad.Bonito y limpio tronas, ipads para los niños y para colorear.Bueno para los pequeños y un aperitivo para mantenerte mientras compras!
