McDonald's in Rotherham

It's a McDonald's, they're all the same, you know exactly what to expect? Not this one, it's rubbish! Having squeezed into the one available parking space (it's a small car park) we ventured in. Ordering was fine, using the touch screen thingy, until it offered table service. Usually I take this option so as to sit with kids whilst waiting, but although it was offered, it isn't available as there are none of those numbered little tent do dads, or even a place where they should be held! So I then get to linger around the counter for the next 25 minutes (yes, really) for an order to arrive that looked like mine (no receipt available, so no number to watch on screen). Whilst waiting I did notice many people visiting the till to report missing or wrong items, bodes well, and a huge number of staff with very little productivity. Food finally in hand I rejoin my kids, who have begun fighting from boredom / hunger, to discover one burger wrong and anemic chips. Kids wanted a McFlurry, but not risking that wait again. Add to that, some of the worst smelling toilets I've frequented in a good long while. AVOID!

walked in at 9:20 nobody on tills nobody waiting to be served just people waiting for there food, 3 workers walked past and after i asked them if i could get served they all walked passed with no response, wasn't until 9:50 that i eventually got served with the order coming wrong

Went for a drink around 11 pm and waited in queue 20 minutes. Drink was hot but we got where we needed to be a lot later…………..

Recently went for breakfast , asked about £2.79 deal which I knew was on, but was told at counter that they are not able to see it anywhere so charged £9.78 for 2 breakfasts. I said, and reminded that I want egg and cheese mc muffin but got sausage and egg one. Without realising, I bit into mine and had to throw up as we don’t eat pork. I had it changed , they added a couple of hash browns as well but my coffee got cooler in the meantime. Later, I also realised they had charged me for the more expensive item than what I had in the end.

Worse McDonalds in the country, no milkshakes , Big Macs missing fries raw awful. Never going back food cold…………………………..

Ordered delivery before a hospital appointment, my child is allergic to cheese, order a breakfast muffin with NO cheese, order came, sticker on muffin in big letters EXTRA cheese!!! Don’t order through McDonald’s app either as useless helping, use Uber eats or just eat direct as they will refund you. Store offered me to come and pick up another which obviously I couldn’t and that was it, heading to hospital hungry

Absolute Rubbish Waited ages to order.When got home a 5 minute drive away chips clock cold. No burger on cheeseburger absolute crap. Will be calling back for refund and a word with manager

Ordered a triple bacon burger got it home and it was a chicken fillet and lettuce. I know the people who work there have special needs but surely they know the difference between a chicken and a cow. Thick as milkshake the lot of them

Fries were cold some not even cooked, Cheeseburger cold Couldn’t get back to complain as travelling through

Called in via drive through. Had to wait 10 mins from service to receiving food chips cool and crispy chicken burger over- cooked to burnt solid and bacon burger cold and bacon almost non exsistant! Staff appeared unprepared for busy rush of people. More traing needed and a better standard of food because at nearly £19 expensive takeaway!

Was waiting 10 minutes for my food because the employees and management thought it was okay to have a great conversation when should be working

I have just visited McDonalds and assume I will be fined £50 for a 96 minute visit. I was not aware until I left the premises that you can only stay 90 minutes. I did not leave McDonalds! I was in the restaurant the whole time. Its disappointing that McDonalds don't allow more time and they have teamed up with such a money grabbing car park management company.

Bought vegan burger tonight - waited more than 15 minutes. It was not even warm.seem to cater more for deliveries. Poor service.

2 items were missing, the girl on the first window @ 4-5pm today 30/08/21 she was so lovely and understanding and funny! Definitely was willing to help in every way possible! The blonde manager on the other hand barely spoke to us and shouted from the window, and barely asked us the situation... I’ve worked at McDonald’s Retford recently and the managing staff are no where like that. They’re so apologetic and helpful. So deffo a shoutout to the girl at the window. So professional and seemed one of the youngest there! I forgot her name but I told her about a missing wrap from a meal so definitely give her a shoutout. Bc staff like her make customers come back, 🤍 5 stars for the girl handled everything the best possible way and the restaurant shouldn’t be down graded bc the managers are rude x

horrid disgusting muck that I would never wnat to eat there ever again. I will give tihis a wide birth

Absolute disgrace last several orders through Uber been missing a third of what we ordered . When phoned McDonald’s they pass the blame on to Uber yet it’s them that pack the order. This restaurant is going downhill fast

This is our local McDonald’s, I’ve never experienced somewhere that gets your order wrong on so many occasions...Also we are forever parking in the waiting bays because our simple order isn’t ready. This needs to improve.

One of a better McDonalds experience. We could not get a parking space as the car park is very small but we managed to park near by. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Toilets also clean. Burgers luke warm but tasty non the less. Staff friendly. Would visit again if in the area.

Absalout rubbish stood in line to buy food nobody on till I could see them doing food for drive through and one member of staff possibly a manager (dressed different) complained to other staff about being busy GET SOME STAFF Don't rely on customers to do your job for you Not going back

Staff here are always friendly and service is good. Great access from M1 junction 33 , Sheffield parkway and Brinsworth.

The food is good here but there is always a que for it more staff is clearly needed! The food is good but often a wait for it!

We stopped for petrol on our way out of Rotherham and l, whilst my friend was filling up, I decided to nip across to this bizarrely situated McDonalds. It seems as though the outside is designed solely for the pointless drive through (every drive through is pointless) as the car park is very small and walking through it means you run a real risk of being hit by a car.Inside now and it is yoir standard McDonalds. There is the touch screen ordering system designed solely for cretins, the usual overweight families and the usual stoic staff. It was perhaps smaller than your average McDonalds, though the staff were being kept very busy.I expect McDonalds food to be bang average but this food managed to be slughtly worse than I was expecting. The fact of the matter was that is was barely lukewarm. Now, it could have been that the food (two cheeseburgers) could have been made a long time, however that begs the question: 'how come it took so long to be given to me??'Still, its a McDonalds. The average customer of McDonalds has little to zero taste, so I can't blame them for aiming low. In addition, my order came to tge grand total of £1.98.....hardly worth getting fussed about. The food did the job and kept me going as we headed out of South Yorkshire, back towards the promised land.

Good quick service but not happy with the food as it was only just warm. Ok for what it is fast food that my grand children love
