McDonald's in Amber Valley

Just been through the drive through, lad taking orders/money was super lovely and charming, you doing a super job.

Service on the drive through is shoddy at best. DO NOT use the left hand lane for drive through orders as they only appear to only take orders from the right hand lane when it is busy. This happens because the person taking orders for the left hand lane is also responsible for fulfilling orders. This has happened on the last 3 occasions. Spoke to a manager in person who agreed but that the system wasn't working but was unable to rectify the situation. When asked why he doesn't shut the lane the reply was he isn't allowed to. Had to actually ring the restaurent on the last visit and was told they were taking orders even though we, and another car, were still waiting while 5 cars from the righthand lane went through. *got home and we have someone else's order. SORT OUT THE DRIVE THROUGH MCDONALDS.

McD's usual experience, great location for me as passing by. Did the job.

Ordered from uber eats , very quick delivery, food stone cold and half of it missing , contacted uber they said restaurant fault . Rang Langley mill one and manager said uber eats fault . Never again horrendous customer service 😡😡😡😡😡

Waited 18 minutes for a big Mac meal and halloumi fries the other day. When the order came to my car. They had forgotten my milk shake and the ketchup that came with the halloumi fries. Not that hard to get an order wrong. When I hadn't ordered a feast!

It's a great place to stop and get some food.

Genuinely the worst McDonalds i’ve ever been to. Usually I can see past little mistakes but this is about the 8th time I’ve had to park up for 20 minutes just to get freezing food, stale chips and no sauce. Paid for a double quarter pounder, got a regular one. Whoever owns this franchise should genuinely start having a hands on approach and see how pathetic this McDonalds is. I’ve never had an issue with any other McDonalds apart from this one. I used to work at Ripley years ago so I know how easy it is.

Chips cold pay more attention to food being delivered

I was waiting 20 minutes for my food, McDonald’s is suppose to be a fast food restaurant, there is nothing fast about Langley mill McDonald’s. Instead of people waiting ages in the drive thru que they are making everyone park up and there was no spaces to start so I was told to drive around the car park wasting my petrol. Can’t understand why the food takes so long to make as there is more than 10 staff working. It’s ridiculous. The food was freezing g when it finally came out. It was disgusting

I enjoyed a 9 nuggets medium fries medium coke and smarties mc-flurry meal in the heanor branch of MacDonalds after a local train exhibition nearby. Very clean n tidy n tasty food! Service was very good. 😃😉👍

The staff when I'm in the restaurant seem pre-occupied with other things. Lots of delivery drivers hanging around these days. Crap loud pop music on.

How can you charge £14.74 for a Big mac meal and a cheeseburger. You ask the staff if that is right and they say should be. Chips were cold and the burger looked liked it was just slopped together. Will not be going there again and the staff should know what they are doing and charging very dissatisfied and to top it all off the screen doesn't work that tells you what you have ordered and how much plus no receipt given

I don't know what has happened at this mcdonalds lately, but everytime we go lunch time we are waiting 15-20 minutes for food, food is always cold, never a nice temperature, food looks thrown together and un appetising. Sauces always missing. Might as well throw money in the bin as this is where the food ends up. I am no longer eating here for lunches as even after I've complained several times it does not get any better. We seem to now have an issue with the portions of fries. Is it just us or is anyone else getting not even half full portions of fries?

Absolutely lovely experience my son is Autistic & had his fingers in his ears 1 of the young staff members asked if i would like the music turning down for him which was lovely of them to do, all the staff were very polite & happy!5🌟

Sat in here at the moment ready to took into my steakhouse stack..... Opened it up to find someone had already taken a bite out of it 😳😳. Wife took it back and turns out another customer had taken it back cuz it was cold and was given back out to me for my meal. This place is an absolute disgrace!!!!!!

Foods always burnt and freezing by the time it gets here (we order delivery), just ordered again and we’re given 2 bags of drinks because they were the only bags given to the driver. I don’t know how that’s even possible because the two bags literally have different codes and delivery food and delivery drinks are literally in separate bags that look different and have different codes. Rang up and they said just order again but we don’t have time.

2 weeks ago, got home missing Big Mac. Can't contact them to get a refund, McDonald's on email apologised, but that's it.

Does no one check all the food is there? Missing med fries I paid for. Have to check in future when you get the food because no one seems to check when they hand the food over.

Totally awful experience! Constant bleeping noises! Made me very very uncomfortable and nauseous and my ears were nearly bleeding! Also the McDonald's app location didn't work in this restaurant even though I tried it outside! Told the staff and they said "yes it's a problem in this restaurant" Ordered sausage and egg McMuffin meal which tasted ok but began oozing out loads of weird liquid! Also the tea tasted awful. Definitely not coming to this place again!

This is the worse McDonalds I’ve ever come across. Staff are rude when you want to be served. Food is always cold and stale. And as for the hot chocolate don’t get me started. Everytime I get one it’s water. Look at the photo of that hot chocolate and tell me how that’s acceptable

18/11/2023 I used my loyalty points to treat myself at mcdonalds Langley mill and used the mcdelivery service.. ive recently just recieved my mc delivery app order via uber , using the app . i even used my built up award points and order myself a tasty few treats , consisting of mc crispy , fries and a mini mc flurry my order number or code on the reciept is 7NWC-CTFZ-96YD i am honestly hand my my heart dissipointed and upset, the food after it eventually arrived was stone cold and i mean stone cold .. the mcflurry was melting too ive been unable to contact the langley mill store direct , uber eats wont answer the phone so ive taken to email I am 1.3 miles away from the store and a 4 min drive.... ONLY so no excuse for such a long wait and to receive STONE COLD FOOD and a poor experience i am totally gutted your ruined my saturday night in treat . i waited a age. and then got a miserable delivery driver, who was not aplogetic in anyway . IVE RANG UBER THEY SAY. THE DELIVERY DRIVER DELIVERED THE FOOD IN A ADEQUATE AMOUNT OF TIME.. MCDONALDS STORE MANAGER I EMAILED SAID ITS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM I GOT COLD FOOD AND TO CONTENT UBER..... end if the day facts are facts 1.3 miles and supposedly 4 min drive. Shouldn't equal to nearly a hours wait and stone cold food and zero customer service from uber and mcdonalds. AVOID THEM..

Local mcdonalds to me and they always get mine, my friends, my families orders wrong. Something is missing or they gave us the wrong thing. The have changed it when asked but always an inconvenience. One or two times fair enough but it's every 2 out of 3 times. Only go when im hungry tired and cba cooking so forget to check the order or check but dont see everything. Shouldn't have to get my whole order out to check its there everytime I go.

Paid for premium burger meal and a happy meal, it was a busy period and food was delayed my burger was stone cold to the point where it had to been assembled cold as the cheese was still solid like it came out the fridge. Fries were unsalted and still warm after I had a few bites of my chilled burger. The worst burger I've ever had in Mcd's and staff didn't want to stop to take me seriously, so we left never to return again. Eat here at your own risk.

Got home and found mozzarella dips instead of chicken selects in the chicken selects box.

Place is a absolute joke.. orders always wrong n ice cold..dont no where they employ these ppl from because when u complain just look at u gone out. Definitely the worst mcdonalds around!

We stopped coming here because the food was never warm...first visit in over a year and the food was cold. Lesson learned. Avoid.

Absolutely the worst MacDonalds for miles around, staff are completely unapologetic when you have to go back because they got your order wrong. Been here maybe 20 times in the last couple of years as it's very local to us. Every single time they've gotten our order wrong. Glad we're moving away. Won't be going back here ever again.

What an absolute shambles of a place. Can't comment on the food as we didn't even get it!! Waited for 40mins and when I went to ask where it was I was told no idea but here is your drink...a coffee made at time of order. They just blamed understaffing and said it wasn't their fault they were so busy! If you can't cope with it then knock one of the delivery services on the head. Plus the state of back of house was a disgrace. Burgers, chips, salad all over the floor. God help you if you get an environmental visit. Absolutely rubbish service

Came here for food on multiple occasions as its the nearest McDonald's. Doesn't matter if you eat in or driv thru food is always stone cold, staff are rude when complaining about food. Don't usually mind a wait if its busy, but to have to wait 45 minutes for 2 nugget meals is ridiculous, especially when it's just frozen food and nothing fresh. Orderd online the other week and food again was cold and ordered a large meal and my fries was pathetic, only about 4 in the box! Would rather travel to Ilkeston, atleast its warm there!

Food was not too bad. But they didnt have hot drinks, cold drinks or any drink but cola for that matter.

I’ve ordered on Uber eats a good few times and something has been forgotten every time . It’s really not that hard to ensure an order is packed correctly. Even when using the drive thru I’ve had to Drive back round when they’ve forgotten My sauces.

Rubbish. Ordered for delivery as baby in the house, we're only about a 3 minute drive away and chips were cold, had no salt on and looked like they were made 2 hours ago. To top it off I only got half a box. We also received no sauces for our 20 box of nuggets and no straw for my iced drink.

Mcdelivery order with items missing, when called store they said it was just eat and not them I needed to contact, gave me a number and just eat is impossible to speak to anyone. I called the Langley mill store back and unless I can get there they can't do anything! I had mcdelivery for a reason duh!! It was the incompetence of the staff to miss items, not the delivery person!!

Was very busy when I visited with lots of cars having to wait in bays for their food but staff worked hard to get food out in a timely manner and it was nice when it arrived

Used table service on the app and the experience was perfect. Food was as you'd expect. The only issue is that one of the kiosks was down.

You can tell that people who have just left school work here. The most 10 iq store. You never receive the correct food, it's always cold and you'll be lucky if you get your food at all. Going into the actual store is just as bad. Honestly save your money and don't go here. Is it hard to look at the order and put the correct food into the bag ? Pretty sure my 9 year old brother could make sure that the correct food was in the bag like come on you've all just left school you should be use to reading.

Ordered a McDonald’s delivery and the chips were raw, a bacon mayo chicken burger that’s 5 hours old and a big Mac missing from the order that we paid for. I’ve once had to wait 2 hours for my meal from here.

Alot of teenagers, probably 13-18 hanging around in large groups messing around. Flicking chips and straws around.

It was a boiling hot day.. not been to a McDonald's for months.. so called in to Langley mill outlet for my lunch.. after a short shopping trip.. unfortunately, they did not have any mcflurrys.. so had to have a milkshake Instead.. and abite to eat.. got to the payment counter and ask the young girl, have you sold out of icream mcflurrys.? No, was her reply, its just that the machine is very slow and easily breaks down.?? Needless to say, I was not impressed with answer.. and I am just wondering, in the forthcoming winter months, will they have a similar excuse for not serving a warming coffee or hot chocolate?? Poor show I'm afraid.

Food always the best at any Mc Donald's seems to be cooked to order so nice and fresh, worth driving for I live in Nuthall so a little drive but worth it.

This place is literally racist. Claiming that my sister “stole” an order just because she didn’t have the receipt at hand and just took the order (she did speak with the same lady before taking it), making her tell them what her order was because she forgot the order number; she did grab the right order. She was threatened by the staff that the police would come and they would come to her house. Even thought my sister did show them the receipt on her online bank account but they did NOT admit they were wrong just a “I’ll let you off this time.” Need I mention both the staff was white. The staff was falsely accusing my sister of stealing claiming that on the cctv she took it without interacting with any staff but she did which was the same staff claiming that she stole. Even thought my sister told them she ordered on the machine the staff was looking at cctv facing the counter. She was with her friends who were all white and didn’t have their order number so why would my sister be the only one targeted. Racial profiling.

Not sure what is wrong with this store for last couple of weeks as staff will not say truth obviously. Mostly run out of some food which always should be available. Slow service which never happened before. I think mamagament need to be changed or challanged. Getting always disapointed

Appalling service tried using my £1.99 food for thoughts vouchers asked for chicken nuggets and fries and they keep saying you cant have nuggets because out till won't let you put it through .So don't put on your vouchers you can have nuggets and fries. It took us 15minutes to get through drive through all the cars was pipping at us it wasn't our fault for god sake .You need to sort your tills out .Felt sorry for the guy who was trying to help us . And the mcflurry machine is never working

Since the delivery service at McDonald's has been introduced the service is terrible. The atmosphere inside the facility is a line of Uber drivers and disgruntled customers. The level of customer service is non-existant and to be honest the staff look overworked without clear direction. My last wait was over 35 minute. I had a wrap of the day on its own. No apology for making me wait. Unfortunately, I feel as though the financial greed of a delivery service has taken priority over customer experience. Poor. If needs be make the Langley Mill branch delivery only, or make the site bigger. Something needs to give.

Honestly i don’t write reviews especially for places i’m not local to, but during my weekend away i visited this mcdonald’s after a heavy bank holiday weekend and the absolute quality service provided to me by the lad called Tom might aswell have cured my hangover and depression all in one by his pure skill. Tom went above and beyond and just had an overall amazing approach during the busy time in which i arrived, Tom was the salvation i needed after queueing in the drive through whilst hungover 5 stars, id definitely come back just for tom , minus one if he isn’t promoted or given a hefty raise

Went to the drive through. Although it turned out to be drive through and park up and wait. 2to3 minutes said the young lad. 18 minutes later a young girl goes for a walk in the car park and then delivers my order. Macdonalds it seems is no longer fast food on site. It cares more for servicing the uber and food delivery drivers. I have now promised myself never to use macdonalds again.

I work nights, every time I visit for either dinner (00:00) or breakfast (06:00) they are closed for cleaning. If you aren't 24 hours don't advertise it that way simple as. I've never known any other Macdonald's to do this either so clearly just can't be arsed

Loved here over a year and NOT ONCE have we managed to get a milkshake. Always the same excuse there aren’t any at the moment. We used to visit once a fortnight. Now we’ve given up as we prefer kfc round the corner who almost always have their crushems available. Staff here are mostly rude and short mannered wether at the drive through or inside. Long waits for small orders. Staff don’t seem to give a hoot
