McDonald's in East Riding of Yorkshire

I am more of a mocha drinker, but husband loves the coffee here, so I indulged him with a treat of a white coffee. Hot and satisfying, we enjoyed our drinks on the way home from the shops! And still a great price too!

Visited the place twice recently, and both times it had a strong sewage-like smell throughout the inside, along with a lot of flies. We had to sit outside to eat. The food was okay, but definitely not the best.

One of the most incompetent, forgetful McDonald's in East riding. Waste of money, you never get your order in full, always items missing. I recommend going to Kingswood or Willerby. Ordered a deluxe quarter pounder meal - never got the burger (5.99) but check this, they charged me full price for the drink n fries and only refunded me £2.79 Today, I ordered a double cheeseburger (n 2 happy meals) no cheeseburger, no drinks with the happy meals. Livid.

Probably one of the worst McDonald's I've been to. Waited 27 minutes for food after I ordered. It wasn't even busy. I was the only customer inside the actual building for a large while. Instead I had to watch them serve about 30 cars ahead of me. After about 15 minutes of waiting I approached the counter to try and see if there had been an issue with my order, but as McDonald's seemingly never has people out front anymore I couldn't get anyone's attention. There is something seriously wrong with the priority system there. No way should so many cars get seen over someone actually in store. Side note: around 80% of my orders from there are incorrect in some manner.

I am writing this review because on a number of occasions I’ve had problems with this McDonald’s in particular. Today was another occasion, we got to the first window to pay and the member of staff told us the price but i had a voucher for a free burger and when we gave the code the price was the same. When we questioned this the member of staff couldn’t give us a reason why then slammed the window shut and said “oh get away from me” as he walked off. He came back from speaking to someone and said i can put a separate order though and try again, but because of it already being scanned it wouldn’t work again. The result of this was to just pay the full price of the meal. His attitude was appalling and childlike and as I previously stated this isn’t the first issue I’ve had at this restaurant with the same member of staff. I don’t have a name as he was wearing a jacket, but he was a heavy built man, late 20’s early 30’s, and we ordered roughly at 12:25.

This is the worst McDonald’s in the uk I have been around 10 times and 6 of them times my order has been wrong DO NOT GO!!!!!!

We stopped here for a hot drink on or way home after work. Ordered through the app, and paid via this too, and opted for collection at drive through. Husband had his usual Americano, while I tried the new Galaxy caramel latte. Well made drinks, as always. Will be back again when need our coffee fix!

Does this McDonald's ever get the order right? Last night came home with someone else's food so this morn ordered breakfast and wrong items sent. It happens all the time..Who manages this place ? Get a grip on your staff. Who owns this franchise? Get a grip on your managers and staff they are losing u money with such poor service. Just because u have a monopoly in Beverley doesn't mean u can get away with such poor service. Burger King for us from now on. Try showing them these reviews if they don't care u have your answer, run a business not a social club

Rubbish spot to eat at. Got the order wrong. Wet floors without any signs 🪧. Highly do not recommend this S*** place

Awful service. An incident occurred where I was refused a 4 cup holder for the balance as a result before I left the drive in the milkshake ended up all over my car. I was again refused a four cup holder after incident and was told by a worker he would have helped clean up the spillage but wouldn't as I was frustrated! This of course was all denied happened By time I got home food ended up in the bin because it was cold. All in all I paid £85 for nothing and got offered as a good will gesture a meal!! I may be out of pocket but they have bigger issues having staff that can't tell the truth. Good luck to them I say.

Amazing. Been to a fair few McDonald’s and this is by far the best. Staff were unreal food was warm and it was clean and tidy

Stopped here on the way home on a rainy Bank Holiday Monday....cannot beat a mcflurry to chase away the feeling that the weekend had ended early! Cheap and cheerful, these are always good and after not having one since last year....a treat!

Visited today busy food lovely and hot.Everywhete was kept clean and tidy We ate in and watched a young girl called Dia I think.She was constantly checking tables cleaning emptying bins ,wiping order boards and card machines .Added to that helping out customet . Our usual choice is St Andrews quay. Thought we would try this one on way home from a day out .Tried a few McDonald's over the years and had same food but been cold cleaniness standards can differ .what amazes me is the organisation that good when busy they keep on top of general housekeeping .I would presume in exceptional circumstances would be difficult .Have been in McDonald's on 9ccasion were very few customers but tables not cleared . These 2 McDonald's should be used as a good working examples of how it should be done

We had a good time. Despite the staff being under so much pressure, they were respectful and performed well under pressure. The food is really good. I LOVED my McSpicy chicken sandwich and my sister loved her Grand Big Mac.

One pound forty for extra hash brown disgusting your a joke we love the breakfasts but I can't believe what you charge we learnt an expensive lesson

The amount of errors we have at this drive through! Never any compensation either. Our ice creams were like milk by the time the redid our order.. 3 times over.. with a screaming baby to boot! In future will drive further as I’m sick of it! It’s probably just a simple solution that’s needed, like a numbering system so they can get what each customer orders in the correct order!!

I ordered @20.11 and my tray of food didn’t arrive till 20.35. Half of the order was missing and what food did come was cold. I ordered the drinks without ice in and they came with ice in. The dips were missing for the chicken selects. I took the order back to the counter and was told in a shirty manner by the shift manager they were short staffed and busy. They had targets to meet and it was my fault for ordering my drinks without ice in and no salt on the chips. They had made the rest of the order but had to wait for the chips to cook so the rest of my order was cold. I asked for the barbecue sauce for the chicken selects and was told it was in the pump dispensers. It wasn’t as they had put tomatoe ketchup in both dispensers. He also asked me if I know what it was like to work in a Mc Donald ??? I really don’t know what that had to do with my order !!. He was really cross with me for complaining and he was off hand and shirty with me. Every time we go to this restaurant they get the order wrong or it is cold. This is the worst restaurant round here. I don’t expect to go into a restaurant and be told in a off hand manner it is my fault my order is wrong and they are short staffed and busy also that they have targets to meet. What has this got to do with me. I don’t know why no one is taking notice of this branch and making improvements and why the shift manager can speak to customers like he spoke to me. The restaurant is dirty, the tables are sticky and the bins over flowing. Some one from management needs to do a spot check and change the attitude of the restaurant staff and shift manager. They are going to lose customers if it carries on like this.

Balloons, friendly staff, large patio, large playplace, clean restaurant, great way to keep the kids busy for a while and save me cooking.

After visiting here for a quick lunch the cheese burger and fries were delicious nice & hot and of a good standard. All was clean and tidy ,neatly kept place all the tables were spotless clean and no rubbish on the floors . The staff are especially helpful and extremely friendly. Really would recommend.

The drive through is great for quick, on the go food. Staff are always friendly, and the service is always on point, meeting the 'fast food' expectations.

Having eaten McDonalds for over 40 years, I believe I'm 'experienced' enough to give a fair review. Beverley franchise: Very disappointing, and totally unacceptable. This McD franchise in Beverley (Beech restaurants) should be taken off the current owners - whom it would appear are not fit to run such a company. I personally own a number of companies, that operate world-wide - and I believe I know what I'm talking about. Myself and my fiance, visited yesterday evening, to eat indoors. After ordering and receiving our food, we looked around for somewhere to sit. The place was nearly empty, it was 21.25hrs. There was one area with clean tables - however, a notice stated that the area was reserved for Uber drivers only. The majority of other tables that were accessible, were cluttered with food waste and wrappers. As we took our seats at a table (which had less trash - just some desert containers) it became immediately evident that my fries were barely warm. I immediately retuned to the counter, and asked for some warm ones. I politely thanked the young lady whom replaced them - only to take my seat, and find they were just the same - barely warm. My Big Mac was the same, as was my fiances meal. I was very hungry, so attempted to eat the cold meal, although it was too cold to enjoy, so I left half of it. Before leaving, I spoke with someone (whom appeared to be in a management role) and asked if there was a technical problem, responsible for the cold food. He stated that there wasn't. He politely apologised and offered more food, including 'some *more* deserts'! We hadn't had any deserts - and he was obviously assuming from seeing the empty containers, left by a previous patron. I declined the offer, and said it was more important to me, that in future, the food would be warmer for me and other visitors. He assured me that it normally is - but looking at other reviews, it looks like he's a real Walter Mitty - living in some dream world. This is totally unacceptable. I know the state of mess is largely due to the selfish visitors not clearing away their own mees - but as it was so quiet, and with a couple of staff appearing to be doing little, it wouldn't have taken too much to clear up. I feel it would have been more appropriate, to have been offered a partial refund (as I had left half my Big Mac - despite being hungry) or to have been offered a voucher, to redeem on a future occasion. To be expected to pay for a hot meal, which was barely warm - is in breach of trading standard laws - and I will be contacting ERYC Trading Standards Department. Having been assured that our barely warm meals was a 'one off', and then discovering from reviews that this is not the case - I can honestly state that if you are considering where to eat - this place is too much of a gamble, unless you don't mind luke-warm / cold food - which is supposed to be hot.

Needed a coffee so went to Beverley McDonald's, sat down used the app coffee brought over promptly by friendly staff member and only cosy 1.49, can't go wrong.

Fast cheap food , Covid friendly staff friendly and click and collect very responsive , live nearby and it’s always quick and convenient the staff are very friendly disabled toilets very clean

Popped here for a cold drink after being nearby. Can't beat the drinks for flavour and value for money. Staff friendly and drive thru always busy!

Of all of the McDonalds I have used this has to be the most disorganized useless place ever. Dreadful drive through service, never have all that is offered on the menu and the management is so transient. No one lasts there.

Everything was cold and dry and it isn’t the first time we’ve had a bad meal, we thought we’d give it another try thought it might have just been a bad day but no the 2nd visit was as bad as the first!l

Popped here for a drink on a hot afternoon. No shakes, but did get their strawberry lemonade and an ice cream. Both hit the spot! It is not the best around, but for drinks and price they can't go wrong.

UberEats order, had a voucher 1of3 thought give it a go. delivered very effiecently before estimated time. polite delivery driver not his fault what dross he delivered. Bag of cold mush. tasteless cold awful food. absolute waste of money they should be ashamed to send...

Was just popping for a coffee after collecting our shopping from Morrisons nearby...and at the last minute, got a breakfast meal deal. Piping hot and tasty, can really say have missed coming out for a cheeky breakfast! Staff friendly and helpful. Will be back again...

An absolute disgrace. Rubbish everywhere, bins full. Very unpleasant and completely ridiculous for a car park to look like this.

We ordered our food via the McDonalds app to click and collect, we ordered 3 meals and some other various pieces. After waiting about 25 minutes with other people arriving after and being served first to then be told by the staff member that eventually...

This time after our last visit when it was sloppy. Cant go wrong with a Dairy Milk and Dairy Milk Caramel ice cream. Busy in the drive through, but didnt take too long to get our order. Just a shame that we had arrived at the drive through then were ignored when someone else drove up in the other lane...need to pay attention, especially as not busy.

At the start this used to be brilliant but now its becoming poor we keep saying no cheese in the burger it even said on the sticker even though there is and chipboxes are half full

We went through the drive through for a mcflurry. We always enjoy these but today at this branch, it was poor. Had we been inside the restaurant, I would have taken them back for a refund. The Ice cream was grainy, not smooth and had melted a little was not the frozen treat we wanted. Will go elsewhere for treats in future.

We went to sit outside and use the app but the app was awful. It wouldn't allow us to put a table number in and only gave is the option to collect the order and so we couldn't get the discount and had to go in. The inside screen were cleaned by staff, who were lovely and helpful, but most of the time I had to press several times for the option to go through. For all that money the company gets they need to sort out their technology options!

Went to buy some food, but because i didn't have a muzzle was refused entry ... despite the fact i could claim to be exempt under the Stazis latest rules.Irony of Mcdonalds not letting me buy their high fat, high salt, high sugar product as i could be bad for other peoples health was lost on this staff member.I rarely eat their junk, but i will most certainly never put a penny through the tills at this store.. not that theyll let me!

About a year ago I took my daughter into this particular McD's. It's only a 300m walk away. The service was appalling. Which was strange as there were only two other people in the restaurant. I challenged the duty manager and asked her why we had to wait so long. They were understaffed I was told. When I asked her why she hadn't put a sign up on the front entrance to allow "customers" to "take this risk or not" I was admonsihed and shouted at. McDonalds took my money and left me to experience an appalling time. I spent 30 minutes on the phone talking to their customer care that night. Clearly this particular McDonalds has not improved since. I only know after reading some of the reviews. I voted with my feet and have never been back. I have driven through to Kingswood instead. But even that felt like a betrayal of my own values and I now don't bother with McD's at all. Reading other reviews is a little like "Groundhog Day"

I don’t go to McDonald’s v often, however I have to say this is the worst one I have ever been too. Always have to wait and on two occasions they got our drive through order completely wrong! Go to Kingswood or willerby the extra few minutes drive is worth it!

I visited this Mcdonalds tonight with my 9 year old son and I will not be visiting again. A large corner of the restaurant was taken up with a large group of teenagers/young adults who clearly were not eating just using the place to hang out. The behaviour and language was dreadful and not one single member of staff seemed concerned or able to deal with it. We ate our food quickly and left. I will not bring my young family back again. Worse experience ever in a Mcdonalds.

I keep using this restaurant purely from convenience and because I’m an optimist at heart and always hope it will be better than previously. The staff were fine in their manner, but as ever we had to park up and wait for around 10 minutes. Then finding as ever, that their was something awry, this time being half filled fries cartons with soggy luke warm fries, only one straw for three drinks (I’m all for cutting down on waste, but not by sharing of straws) and the wrong dips. Come on Beverley McDs, you can be better than this.

Popped here for a coffee one Sunday morning / lunch time starting. We only ordered coffee but had to wait a while for this. We sat inside due to the weather and it was slightly chaotic as orders were taken to tables and to waiting customers outside. Still good value for drinks though, although need to improve the service time!!

I don't expect much from McDonalds but this is a rediculous farce. Poor food, dreadful service, long waits at the drive through, disenchanted staff and a oppressive feel. Outside there seems to be constant idiots driving dangerously and being anti social.Shut the place down I'll go up the road to Willerby.

I'm Not a Mcdonalds fan and this was a reminder just why … We visited here yesterday to take my Grandaughter … We visited around 4pm Sunday 22/9/19 . We ordered (eventually) 1NoCheesburger/ Fries / Drink.. 1No Chicken Burger /Fries/Drink … and Childs meal with Burger Fries and a shake … after a disorganised who is in which queue scenario we eventually got served... We found seats and as we sat and opened our bag … Despite the box being clearly marked Chicken Burger - it contained a Beef burger... Whilst waiting to return it a couple were ordering and I over heard the tail end of their conversation " So you haven't got any of those three options" … They left disgruntled and without purchase ... Our incorrect burger was exchanged without fuss... Whilst we were eating one customer returned his bags to the counter and asked for the manager he complained to her that the food was "stone cold"… her answer "We don't cook them , we just warm them !! " .. He was refunded... and left.. The Staff were running relays.. delivering Food to Tables and out to cars in the Car Park because they were unable to produce food on demand. As children tend to do my grand daughter chewed the end of her now paper straw .. so she could no longer suck through it … So Nan went to the stand for another .. It was Empty !! .. again we queued at the counter saying you are out of straws .. the server returned with ONE straw … No straws were placed in the dispenser prior to us leaving... Every time I go to Mcdonalds I try to do so with hope that things might just have improved … but they NEVER do .. When we returned our Grandaughter to Mum & Dads house in Beverley we explained the above and their reply was … "We NEVER use the Beverley one it's terrible.. we drive all the way to Kingswood " ….. Wow if I was the branch manager I would be gutted if anyone had that opinion of my branch … Note to Self - McDonalds is What McDonalds is... and it aint never gonna improve .

I have been here several times since it opened around a year ago To start with they got orders wrong, the food was luke warm on every occasion for my first 5 - 6 visits & some of the staff were a bit frosty to say the least. However for my last 3 -4 visits having asked the staff to make sure my food is hot .. it has been, the staff have changed & are all very friendly & pleasant & after always going to McDonalds at kingswood & never being disappointed there I am beginning to like the beverley branch at last What else can I say .. it's a McDonalds if you love their food then it's all good as long as it's hot! Never had to wait long for food The environment is bright & cheery & food served to your table if you want it Just try it & see what you think! Everyone has their own experience :)

We nearly didn’t come here after reading the reviews posted here. However, as soon as we entered this McDonald’s we were greeted with a warm welcome by a member of staff. We placed our order and sat down. The dining area was clean and well kept. In a short time our meals were delivered to the table, they were hot and well prepared. The staff member who bought them was friendly and polite and apologised for our wait (which wasn’t long)As we left the staff member who greeted us wished us a good night and thanked us for visiting. I honestly can’t think of anything else that the staff could have done to ensure good service. All in all a joy to visit and a breath of fresh air for McDonald’s!

Terrible not happy with Service Was told to park up and the girl who brought our food out was rude and bad mannered shouting at us for asking why did it take long food was flat cold wasnt waiting on the food wasn't fresh so why was we parked the girl was very rude Shouting while we had very young kids in the car will not be coming again waste of money wouldn’t go there again I work at McDonald near my area and I understand what it’s like to work at McDonald and they need to change a lot about their franchise if not they will lose out on customers very soon with that Service I’ll stick to my location McDonald’s instead

Popped here one hot Friday after work and visiting Morrison's next door. Once again milkshakes not all available but at least the machine was working. Ordered mocha iced latte for me and a strawberry milkshake for the other half to enjoy when he picked me up. Service was slow even for just 2 drinks but worth it.

This is the worst MacDonalds I have ever known and it shouldn't be it's new. There is no proper management, it is often surrounded by undesirables and thuggish behaviour and no one does anything about it. The food is often just warm. It's a disgrace to the franchise.

Second visit to drive thru and again no milk shakes, machine broken. Was asked to park up to wait for meal and then received lukewarm soggy chips and burger. Not one of McDonalds best I’m afraid

Have been to the drivethru here a number of times since it opened and have only been able to have a milk shake once. Today was no exception. Machine was apparently broken. Order placed with an alternate drink but, after paying, was asked to park up and wait for the order. When it finally arrived it was luke warm and not enjoyable. Think I'll give this branch of McDonalds a miss

Called in here for a drive through meal with my daughter, it was almost noon, and the place was busy but not full.

The new Beverley store is perfectly situated after a nice wall with the family. I was shocked however to find that they allow people to smoke in the outside seated area whilst people are eating! They have a sign stating no smoking in the children’s play area but not where customers are eating, which is awful. Sort it out McDonald’s, neither I or my family want to be inhaling other people’s smoke whilst eating and drinking.

Love this McDonald’s, really handy place for me to pop in. The place is always clean and the staff very helpful and welcoming. The food is great which is the main thing. Give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve worked all over Britain and this has to be the worst Mcdonalds I have ever been to. Truly useless in every way 👎👎

Worst macds ever never have anything ready always have to pull up in the waiting area even once just for drinks have not been able to get a milkshake here for the last 8 weeks waited ages to get a macds in beverley and now I still have to go to kingswood what a waste of time Beverley MacDonalds

My husband and I stopped here on our way home to get a Mccafe drink to quench our thirst. We didn't go inside, but opted for the drive through. Quick service and staff polite and friendly. Well made drinks, with the quality expected of the chain. Next time, when have more time, will go inside to test the service.
