I like how it's split into 2 now ,so no more climbing over Uber eats delivery men

Every time I go i always end up having to wait in the bay for my food even when its a simple order. Once had to wait just for a milkshake .

Went to drive through tried to order meal could not hear what she was saying asked her to speak up. Went to pick meals up but she only ordered one told me to go back round again and order another meal not good enough. Also they had no milkshakes or ice cream.

Luke warm products, staff take ages to serve customers. For this reason it's very rare I buy thief food

Waited ages for a cup of coffee

Couldn't get a 'normal' cup of coffee or tea, had to settle for coffee and toffee.

Terrible service,long waiting times,incorrect order,£30 down the drain, absolute shit show

Atrocious absolutely terrible all staff want to do is talk and ignore you stood 10 minutes before someone actually came to counter to see if I wanted service and that was an effort for them never again will I return

Absolutley sick of this abysmal branch. Everytime I go through the drive thru the order is wrong. Everytime I order on the app the food is freezing with half a portion. Impossible to feedback on the app and passed between uber and the branch. Service is always slower than a snails pace in store. Sort it out.

Unable to get a click & serve space due to uber eats, justeat, or deliveroo drivers taking them all up, so I went to BurgerKing

It was a rare event that I fancied a quick mc’d and also our granddaughter fancied a happy meal. I saw the queue was big so used the App to order. It took 30 minutes waiting for our order (2) to be ready to serve despite others being served before us in the car park and inside. Staff couldn’t care less and my burger was cold and presented terribly. Utter rubbish

Ordered 2 Philly Cheese Burgers Meals. Burgers arrived stone cold. French Fries were half cold as well. Only thing which was hot was the tea and coffee. Staff said they were too busy with orders to deal with me. Absolutely disgusting service. Never buying anything at McDonald's again.

All good for a change. Sometimes takes for ever to get your food here due to the amount of delivery drivers that seem to get priority. But seemed pretty quiet today for some reason. Greggs must have an offer on 😂

Staff are all young people with no customer service skills and no interest. Food is prepared poor and looks like someone sat on my burger.

Ordered via the app. Ordered (amongst other items), a grilled chicken and bacon bbq wrap and received a sweet chilli chicken one instead. Only noticed when my wife bit into it -luckily she’s not allergic to chilli… Food was hot and tasted good but must do better with order accuracy in future!

Waited ages for food while several delivery drivers left with packed bags of food. 8 cars waiting for drive through orders!

We asked if the music could be turned down a little due to our autism and staff almost turned the music off! I sat and ate my meal relaxed and tearful for the staffs kindness. Thank you 🙏

Typical big standard McDonalds - totally overpriced for poor quality "food". There's a good reason that it's a long time since I bought a McDonalds when sober!!

You go through the drive-through, and the worker tells you to park and they'll bring it out. I am sorry, but Burger King next door has never done that, and it is called a drive-through for a reason. 😂And it certainly does not feel like a quick food organisation.

Drive through, very busy but good nevertheless

I ordered a mcdelivery order through the McDonald’s app and the Uber driver brought me the wrong food. The driver promised he would go back to McDonald’s and collect the order I placed and I was sat waiting hours and didn’t get anything. I spent £40 and the Uber support was useless saying I wasn’t allowed a refund. The next day I called McDonald’s at simonside, towers place. I explained to the manager (Jordan) about what had happened the previous night and he couldn’t off been happier to resolve Ubers mistake. I showed the receipt off the order I wrongly got and then showed my receipt off the order I should have received. He couldn’t apologise enough (even though it wasn’t his fault and it was Ubers) and offered to make my order in full for me. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Jordan for his kindness and help.

Poor service last 3 times we've been they have asked us to park up and quite a few cars after us have been served before us, don't mind waiting our turn but we can even see their meals are the ones we've ordered. Helpful manager gave me a refund. Won't return.

Food was great as usual, took a while to get served. No real atmosphere as it was 7.00 in the morning. Very positive visit.

Clean very busy but lovely helpful staff

The change in recipe made the patty very bland, burgers were very dry, this restaurant doesn't really put much effort into putting the burgers together and they also pack them in the bag on the side so they fall apart.

It’s McDonald’s standard food. The criticism I have is it’s meant to be fast food but 8 out 10 times I can be asked park up & wait, which can be extra 10-15minutes after being stuck in a queue even if ordered on the app.

Worst mcdonalds experience ever. All they are interested in is keeping the uber orders going out the door. If you're a customer that wants to use the restaurant or drive through then expect to wait a very long time.

Used the drive thru. It always takes them forever. You end up parked in a bay waiting for 10 mins if you order the McPlant.

Don't bother ordering on the app, they deliver to the wrong address, then call you liars when you complain about it! I reordered it to get someone to pick it up (I'm disabled hence delivery) paid for it online to be told at the drive thru they've run out of food for my order?!! Absolute idiots!!

Ordered thru Uber just a few mins ago, Uber delivery spot on but the correct order was not packed by the restaurant. Restaurant won't answer their phone and Uber refunded for the missing items but I am down half my order.

This McDonald's doesn't give two different companies orders to the delivery drivers. However if the same company gives two different orders to a driver, they give two different customer's foods to one driver. And a delivery driver can take one from Burger one from McDonald's. So the rule is so weird and against only the delivery drivers. Drivers work like a slave for 7-10 pounds per hour (if restaurants don't give two different companies' orders).

Milkshake and frappe machines are never working. Also, please learn how to cook fries.

I was waiting, nearly 2 hours for my order. It never arrived and my Uber driver cancelled order on me and said that he couldn’t deliver because it was taken so long. we had three separate drivers and one of them picked up food and then cancelled the order. Second one didn’t even arrive at the McDonald’s and the third one was waiting for nearly an hour and it didn’t get to them so they cancelled the order. when I called them up two times, they never answered terrible service and I will not be buying again.

Waited in drive through for a happy meal, assuming it took so long as was being cooked to be served cold chips and nuggets. Gone right down hill. Disgusting.

Takeaway food is always a wait and you always get cold food , probably one of the worst McDs in the area

Ordered from here today, asked for a book instead of a toy but got a toy, asked for extra dips, not only did I not get extra I didn’t get any at all, the food was cold when it arrived and was all wasted because it was inedible my bill was £24 and a total waste of money, giving 2 starts because my uber driver was lovely

Hi. Last night was my last day before cancer stomach surgery. Burger King was close so l decided get my last super in Mc Donald. We ordered our food 22:20. After asking food was given to us 22:47 with comment we are close at 11pm. Food was cold and we feel we should leave now. Cleaning lady was standing next to us spray smelly products and Cleaning bin. I spoke with manager on the end but he said is normal way to treats customers. Shame for company. They damage my last supper and make me really upset. My food was place in bin as was cold and not eateble. They ruin my evening and last meal. Choice Burger King ALWAYS.

Just got a white coffee and the man at the order window was very friendly. He was kind and polite.

We waited after the drive through, in one of the bays. The kids opened their food to find the food was like stone cold. You expect that when you have to wait it is being freshly prepared We should have checked before we drove away, will do that next time Disappointing

No organisation what so ever......

Just grabbed a coffee and it was warm I think it was sat under the coffee machine waiting for someone to realise it needed to be given to a customer, the lady who served me was friendly enough the thing is there was only myself and two other people waiting for an order and the other two guys were together it wasn't ages probably three to five minutes enough time for my coffee to cool down and I was well on my way before I tasted it so going back wasn't an option ☹️ was looking forward to a brew on the way back to Manchester from Tyne and wear some 100 + miles lesson learned try before leaving 🙁

Pleasant staff, consistently poor portions on fries. Orders often wrong so check your screen very carefully on the drive through. Refuse the meals if the fries are skimpy or old.

Definitely would not recommend a delivery via justeat from here took over two hours food missing freezing chips, just a complete waste of money

Everyone should try the meat alternatives ie vegan or veggie. Both of which are really good.

The new mcdonalds uk Way is a little box hatch service type counter slow service you can hear people talking but there is no fast food service here very disappointed. Food was barely warm.. Time you get to the car after waiting god knows how long ...its like warm and pretty naff. Mcdonalds are just not what they used to be.

It might have been near closing time, but it's not acceptable for paying customers to be served brown water when they've asked for hot chocolate.

Tried this place again after poor experience 1/5/22. Unfortunately things have got worse. If it was not a McDonald's, this place would be out of business. Waited an eternity as per the last few visits, and the food was stone cold. Whoever manages place is never around, and it is always the poor young staff facing the flack. Absolute disgrace for a fast food place. Visit at your peril and make sure you are not in a rush. I will avoid in future the place just cannot cope.

Clean, fast. What more can you ask for from a McDonalds. Drive through can get busy - at times like this, we park up and collect in the restaurant.

Disgraceful experience this evening at the drive thru. Ordered my food and when I got home there was a wrap, large fries missing and no cheese that I added on a burger. I went back and told them, got my wrap (now with no bacon) and cold medium fries! Won't be going here again my whole dinner Is cold

Really slow at serving and when finally served food was warm and missing items. I think McDonald's is going down hill, there trying to change to make them better and it's making them a lot worse
