Conelab in South Tyneside

Came all the way from peterlee for this street food, By far the best burger I’ve ever had in my life. Worth the drive and most definitely be back. Staff are excellent and very helpful Definitely recommend !

Pulled in on the way home to Durham. Gyros ready in 5, what a treat, full of flavour, fresh and tasty. Definitely be back to try the burgers.

After hearing from multiple people just how good this is I finally caved. Okay, I get it. Got the taco loaded fries and it was insatiable, I always wondered how good could loaded fries really get? I found out. Well portioned, tasted out of this world. I will return for the burgers as they looked phenomenal.

It’s not very often I share a review but I must say that this place is what you call a serious takeaway. What I mean by serious is that you only get good food from here. NOT one poor experience I have had, don’t be surprised if you gain a few inches on your waist but these scran are something else. Rockafella burger… a triple decadent delight of cheese beef, crispy onions and sauce. My gosh I am gobsmacked by the simplicity yet the mouth smacking goodness from this deliciousness. ConeLab Dirty fries? What is this sorcery arghhh!!! Cheese sauce and fries topped with chopped beef onions bacon and sauce… it’s too good. Only downside is that I live near teeside… always worth the long drive.

Not bad, but there’s better in Newcastle. It’s in a secluded residential area with on street parking. Takes about 15 minutes for food and there’s a waiting area inside. - the Loaded Greek fries were my favourite dish. With the halloumi, mozzarella, sauces and gyros it got quite rich quite quickly. - the burgers were a slopfest - lots of sauce. Went for the Back to Basic and the Sesame Honey Chicken. The chicken was tasty but the burger was thin. The beef was fine. - the wings had a good flavour but the quality of meat wasn’t great.

Such a shame that Conelab Street Food lost all of their reviews so I am more than happy to write another one! I come here nearly every Wednesday after my class for a salt and pepper chicken kebab meal, my husband will get either one of the dirty fries boxes or a BBQ chicken wrap because they are by far our favourites. I have tried many of the burgers and dirty fries too and they are all super delicious with lots of flavour. I was asked tonight to sample their garlic doner kebab and I have to say, it was BEAUTIFUL! I loved how there was cheese tucked in under all the meat and melted over the chips! The kebab was nicely diced up and was finished off with garlic sauce and lettuce. I say definitely give it a go, it is very nice! Thank you very much Rachel for asking me to review this dish, I really enjoyed it!

I had the smash ConeLab burger with a separate portion of chicken Katsu fries. About a 5-10 minute wait and all cooked fresh. Absolutely beautiful. will definitely recommend this place

An absolute gem this place...Best burger I have ever had" sesame honey chicken burger" ..out of this world ,be prepared for the loaded fries to fill every gap in your appetite...expected to wait a little as everything is cooked to order but we'll worth the wait... highly recommend treating yourselves

We ordered from ConeLab and it came within 30minutes from ordering. I got the salt and pepper wrap with seasoned fries and bbq wings, these options never let me down however I do also recommend the Rockaffella burger which I have also had in the past which has absolutely blown me away . You can rely on quality with ConeLab.

Tried many burger places in the north east and this hidden gem is Absolutely the best street Food takeaway around no doubt. Salt and pepper chicken kebab is just beautiful. Chicken gyros I can’t tell you guys enough, it’s so good! Smash Conelab burger is also my favourite. Can’t get enough

Absolute disgrace 3 or 4 bits of duck on loaded fries and I mean slivers not slices like on menu ! And chicken wings smallest I've ever seen must be mini chickens absolutely worst takeaway I've had for a long time!

Absolutely spot on food. The burger, the flavours… it’s on another level. I’m saying this now and I promise to anyone that these burgers are the best around. I was blown away by every bite. Currently working myself through the menu and my top 3 picks are Rockafella Salt and pepper chicken kebab Conelab dirty fries I have came on a weekday and the service is spot on. I have also been down on a weekend and wow for a lone shop located in an estate, it certainly brings in a crowd! This is a beautiful looking takeaway, a take on a rustic gourmet burger look with futuristic lighting with a touch of greenery.

After hearing my friends raving about a new place located in jarrow, I travelled there to be welcomed by very kind and bubbly staff. Surprised by the decor as it is not your typical takeaway that looks grim and tacky. This takeaway is beautifully decorated and colourful. Moving on to the food. I ordered a rockafella burger, conelab dirty fries for myself and a classic chicken burger with fries and dip for my friend. Oh my word… I was blown away by the flavours in the rockafella burger I had. I didn’t really have an expectation as it’s just another burger right? Oh I was wrong. You’ve got a regular customer coming back. I have been to 95% of all burger places in the north east and this is definitely in the top 5 Will be recommending to my friends and family.

Located in the lake estate, a lovely decorated street food takeaway serving food that you won’t get anywhere around Jarrow. Like many other burger joints in south Tyneside, This takeaway offers plenty more products which sets them apart from every other competition nearby. I have been around south Tyneside searching for the tastiest burger and I think i have found the place. Highly recommend the rockafella burger in addition to the conelab dirty fries. The burger patties are well seasoned and have a unique taste where you won’t get elsewhere. You may be waiting a tad longer during peak hours but you cannot put a time on exceptional food.

There is a good variety of food on the menu. The Mac Attack burger was lovely with plenty of filling. The seasoned fries as a side were nice and the portion was huge. You choose your main and then add your sides. So your burger does not automatically come with fries for example you can mix up what you chose to have with it. Will return to try something else on the menu.
