Absolutely Amazing quality! Tried the special of the week which was the Stackz King, and the Honey Chilli Chicken Filletz and nothing dissapointed! The fries were crispy, the burger was huge, but left me wishing my stomach was bigger so I could have more. Their portions are very good value for money, perfect for a treat for the family or Lunch by yourself

Another 5 star visit to this local chain. As normal great service, amazing value and fresh ingredients. The original burger with extra burgers, pastrami and burgz source was so delicious I actually took my time to eat it. The week’s special chicken genders with garlic butter and cheese. Just incredibly good. Fries nice and fluffy with a light crisp and perfect texture. 100% satisfying, value for money and 100% going again.

Dropped into Friez and Burgz after work for some wholesome grub. Ordering was a simple task and staff were friendly. I opted for the American Burger which consists of Beef, Cheese, Diced Onion, Dill Pickles, Ketchup and Mustard, this was accompanied by Fries and a choice of dip. The burger was juicy and full of flavour, the chips were okay and the spicy mayo dip was tasty. It took about 10 minutes from ordering till we received the food. Well worth a visit if in the area. Especially due to the prices for the meal, it worked out great for the amount of food you get.

I couldn’t want a burger joint to offer anything more. This place is amazing. The burgers are fresh with homemade bread buns with all burgers. The meat is juicy and if you go the chicken it is very succulent. The chips are fresh and you get a good portion. Service is always great and the prices are extremely good value for money. The spicy mayo or garlic tips are top tier. Overall always amazing.

We love it here. Food is amazing and cooked fresh while you wait. We’ve never been disappointed and they always think of new cool recipes. We got the special this week a chicken burger with pineapple and loaded fries, it was outstanding. Staff are lovely and their dips are amazing.

The new buns from f&b are amazing and the meat is even better if you like delicious food come here very good I will be returning

The best value takeaway in the North East of England. The level of food you get for the price is actually outstanding. Wonderful burgers, very well presented and a truly excellent takeaway

It’s is illegal to sell cans of pop that are marked 65p and they are selling them at £1.50 at the Forrest hall shop disgusting

WOW I'm writing this whilst it is fresh in my mind, visited South Shields for the first time today, walked past here it was packed, I thought that must be good. Two hours later passed again on way back to Hotel, again packed so we picked up a menu. Returned again later to place an order and again it was packed thought god I'll be here ages, WRONG, ordered and served in 10 minutes, WOW we were not disappointed the food was awesome, pity they're not in Worksop it would become my favourite go to diner. Proper chippy chips and burgers to die for.

Honestly, one of the best burgers take aways I’ve had in UK. Great quality and selection. Visiting this place every time I come up from London (please expand to London!). Highly recommend to try it out!

…..and the people were right. My husband won’t entertain the ‘corporate’ rubbish burger joints but had heard of Friez and Burgers and really wanted to try it out. The shop is only small and out of the way of the main shopping street. It was full 20mins after opening with a regular stream of customers. Service was great, nice choices of burgers and chicken burgers, dips, extras and desserts. And to the big event! We had an American, Original and Delicate with chips with dips. Beautiful, excellent taste, filling and streets ahead of the so called big chains (in our opinions).

This is how you do it. Looked like the mince was gently pushed into a patty to order (certainly not a defrosted hockey puck) and was grilled perfectly - lots of browning/charring but still juicy inside. The toppings and sauces I've had on both visits were delicious too, but the burger was the star. Chips were top notch and loads of them. Quite amazing you can get something so great for only £6 from an inconspicuous shop on a tired looking street. Maybe some burgers are equal (Wolfmann's), but no-one will top this locally.

Ordered a burger to come with haloumi but when I got home and opened the box the haloumi was missing. Bit disappointed but burger and fried was amazing.

Can’t complain about Friez & Burgz. Great price of £6 for a freshly cooked hot double smashed burger and skin on fries and a dip. There are a variety of fillings, sauces/dip, drinks and desserts. You can also add extras to top up your burger e.g an extra pattie or bacon. They also do a chicken burger too. Your order is cooked while you wait so the order is not sat keeping warm… so there maybe a little wait and it can get very busy as it’s a popular place to go but it’s fresh food made to order which I would prefer. The staff are friendly. The shop is clean. Tip get a loyalty card because you will be back.
