No milkshakes again and won't use next time. 2nd time in week..Not enough mix they say..Who runs this place

I ordered 2 takeaway hot chocolate. It was absolutely disgusting. It had no flavour, just tasted like dishwater.

As this macdonalds is the nearest one to my house, it makes sense to go to this one. However, without fail, everytime I go through the drive thru they get the order wrong. It Will either be missing an item ie: last time was the halloumi fries missing or they have given me a quarter pounder instead of a DOUBLE quarter pounder. I can not comprehend how they can get this wrong not just once but every single time!! When you try and ring the restaurant to address this, there is no answer. If Carlsberg did macdonalds it would definitely not be this 1!

Avoid. Especially if you want to get stuck in drive through to get nothing. McFlurry’s are NEVER available and no notice to say that before you join queue. Go elsewhere.

Everytime I go to this macdonalds, they always get the order wrong! When I last went yesterday, there was no cheese in the Big Mac, I asked for no salad in my sons wrap and I had salad in, the milkshake was just pure syrup. Fries were stone cold as was the Big Mac. Everytime I’ve been to the drive thru, I’ve always been sent to wait in one of the bays for the food-not really ‘fast food’!

Poor food, incorrect order and it was cold. Sent it back but it came back the same, probably due to guy not speaking English very well.Cold and poor. Won’t bother again

We ordered and paid for a meal for 4 on the app. My husband went to collect it and brought it home. The whole order was cold and the fries were undercooked, pale and floppy. None of it seemed freshly cooked, very disappointing! Tried to complain on the app and it was so difficult to do that I ended up leaving a message which they never replied to.

Orderd thoughuber, wrong food, manager on shift poor and did not care. Joke. Was told to speak to uber, uber say speak to mcdonalds. Poor!

I am absolute disgusted with this mcdonalds everytime I order its stone cold and have to re heat it in my air fryer!!! If I wanted to cook my own I would of done... Its called fast food for a reason its either that or a I get a hair init it also took an hour and half when im 5 mins down the road 😂 what an absolute joke but yet you still build a new one your going down hill MACCIES BIG TIME

Just been to mcdonald's colchester stadium. They stopped taking orders as I was at the order point, no explanation, no apology. Then took me 10 minutes to get out of the que. Won't be going there again until they get some staff with manners and above average iq

No apple pie and no ice cream or McFlurrys wasted my time so we ended up just getting chips I have to write a hundred characters

On receipt of our £30 order I was shocked to find everything had been dumped into one brown paper bag (full to the top) I asked the young girl if I could kindly have two bags for our food and could they kindly re-pack it as I had a five minute walk home. The food was returned to us in two bags and to my complete disbelief it was shocking….the fries were everywhere, some were packed upside down etc etc. I asked for the branch manager and I asked why the staff here couldn’t pack brown paper bags properly (my 8 year old son could do a better job ffs) To make matters worse when we finally got home with our order they had managed to miss off my son’s bacon double cheeseburger. Overall a very disappointing experience with badly managed staff and poor customer service 😡

Warning, this review may churn your stomache. I decided to get a takeaway on my way home from work for myself and my husband. While waiting for my order I noticed a mother was looking at the menu/board with her very poorly daughter. Coughing and spluttering she looked very poorly - even after 2 years in a covid pandemic some think this still acceptable. I felt so sorry for the poor girl as she just wanted to be home and in bed. The inevitable happened and the girl was sick all over herself, her mum and the floor by the self serve kiosks. There were no napkins so the mum continued to place her order after rubbing the both down with the vomit. After waiting a few minutes for staff to realise, I went to the desk and asked the manager to get the mum some napkins as her daughter was just sick, and said it would need to be cleaned up. The manager gave her some napkins but no sign or clean up for the vomit on the floor or on the self serve screen. The next family walked in and sure enough walked straight in it and placed their order using the same kiosk. To make it worse, the mum put the used napkins in the small bin in front of the collection desk and the just eat delivery guy in front of me picked them up to dry the inside of the food/cooler bag after just witnessing the vomit-covered lady throw them in the bin. I stopped him before he wiped his bag and said 'you cannot use those'. Overall, this has been the most sickening experience and I will not be returning to this place ever again. A sure way to have nightmares about food contamination, poor hygiene, and the spread of viruses. But hey, motivation for a healthy diet in 2022 as I will not be going back there.

Downloaded the McDonald's App and placed an order for delivery, which arrived on time. The driver left before I could check it. When we went through the bags, we had several items missing. Can't make a complaint through the app, as it won't let me...

Went in for breakfast, service was slow and after missing food on are order the staff told us it was us that has picked up the wrong order when we had picked up the correct order number they then left us waiting while they served everyone else.

Only stopped in for a coffee but very impressed with the friendly staff and how clean the place was. Has to be the cleanest McDonalds I've ever seen and that includes the toilets. Great cup of tea - very pleased to see PG tips! Will stop off here again!

I hadn't been to a MacDonald's for 10 years, as you can tell I am not a fan! But we arrived back from our holiday in the middle of the night and were both peckish so decided to pop in. I had never used the touch screens before and this was a massive improvement on when they used to have the menu on the wall behind the servers and you could never read it quick enough to make a decision! Had to wait a little while for the food but not too long. I chose a chicken burger in a bagel but this was out of stock which was disappointing, So had some kind of other chicken burger, which was OK but didn't make me want it again. Also had chicken dippers which were not very nice at all and I couldn't finish them. Sitting in the car eating, we saw some massive rats right in front of us, obviously waiting for us to throw them our leftovers! Put me right off!

We came to this McDonald’s on our way back from a long distance trip. Used the drive thru, staff were really nice and food was piping hot (which we personally like so we know it’s probably just been cooked). After we went in to use the toilet and all seemed very clean. Would definitely come back to this one again!

Never been to this McDonalds before and would return. plenty of parking .

Stopped here on our journey to Clacton. Ordered food from the screen downstairs and then went to sit upstairs. Have never seen a place so spotless, the table and seats had just been wiped clean and the floor was spotless. We watched the lovely Jamaican man constantly cleaning and just walking around checking everywhere was clean. He went into the toilets about 3 times while we were there which wasn't that long. We spoke to him and complemented him on his brilliant hard work. He really looked like he had pride in his work and was smiling and friendly all the time. This is in such contrast to when we went into the Sudbury one on the bypass a while ago which was disgusting!! Maybe they should come and see how its done. He is a credit to you. All the other staff seemed friendly and efficient too.

With a mini bus full of cub scouts after a Colchester United match day. Service was quick food as expected.

Called into get some food for our Grandchildren and we enjoyed a pleasant meal, but our experience was spoiled by some mistakes with our order. How a drink of tea turns into some form of frothy coffee is beyond me and a milk shake was not as originally ordered. That said, the staff reacted quickly and efficiently, but it would be better if customers orders were simply provided as specified.

We visited on our way to Colchester zoo for my toddler’s birthday. It was absolutely brilliant- food was served quickly, and was very tasty.

Very well placed for park and ride breakfast.Pleasant helpful staff and usual high standards for McDonalds as well as good views upstairs.

When visiting Colchester we stop here for breakfast before travelling home always good breakfast wrap the only problem I seem to have is oil drips out of the bottom of the wrap ,but I'm sure this is because it's fast food as I have had this on several accasions the staff our friendly place is always busy as its just off A14 and better than the larger stops as its better value for money more affordable tea and coffee is spot on so much better than the larger coffee venues and tasty,it's such a shame they don't do any other wraps now now it's flatbread which is hard and not as tasty ,overhaul though lovely fast breakfast thank you to all staff

We called late Sunday afternoon and the place was very busy but the staff were working really hard. The place was spotless and the waiting time was minimal. The food was the same as every other outlet, but the industry of the staff made it one of the better branches. Parking is pretty limited though.

Staff were very welcoming and keen to make customers feel special. Fast delivery to your table or collection from counter. Drive Through very efficient. Using the touch screen orders avoids queues and easy to use.

Would just like to say what a delight it was to take my two young grandsons to this venue. Ordered quickly and got it delivered to the table. A lovely assistant called Lynne came along and made a balloon dinosaur for the birthday boy and a small ladybird for the youngest. She was amazing.

Visit this McDonald’s fairly often late evenings/early hours . Upon this time when it’s quiet you’d often expect the food to not be sitting around and cooked to order, especially when you have special requirements on orders such as no pickles etc.

We ate here for breakfast on Sunday at 08:00. Ordered at the till, very long wait for food. Observed staff whilst waiting, one female serving at the till,pleasant enough, but she also seemed to be doing the table service upstairs, so a queue building up. There was another female that spent the whole time we were waiting for our food, sweeping one step, whilst chatting to another member of staff. Food fine, very poor staff. Wouldn’t visit again.

My brother and I visited on the 6th of August whilst on the way back to Ipswich and sat inside, the food came quick, the to your table service was quick, but I had to rate as poor as the place was heaving with flies, everywhere you looked the place was covered in them, it was impossible to enjoy our food as we sat there like human fly swatters !.... Next time I think I would drive by and not even drive through as for sure they must have been in the cooking area also.

This is my favourite McDonald’s it is clean. The staff are really nice and try to help you where they can.

Let's face it a McDonald's is a McDonald's. We've all had one before and we all know what to expect, occasionally it might be hot usually it cold and has never ever looked like the pictures. The problem with this place is simple- it's too small to cope with the demand. The queue for the drive thru blocks the car park. Then there's not enough spaces . Finally if you get a space on the drive thru side you can't get out of your space until the queue moves along ☹️

Party of 15 after the Colchester united game . Service as very quick and all correct . An employee called Stephen was very helpful with our party of Cub scouts

In the garage complex opposite the Football Stadium..a good place to stop and meet up with friends..burgers are not really my thing..but it was Ok..the people we met love their burgers..so everyone was happy.

We use this place on odd occasions after holiday trips when we arrive home late. Good burgers and chips. Service can be quite slow.

We nipped in here on our way home as we were starving, I was surprised to see the only staff we dishing up the food, you have to go to a screen and self order and pay by card.

Ideally situated at P&R; North Colchester off the A12 at junction 28. After parking our car at the Park and Ride for £3.00 for the day, heading off to the football on Saturday afternoon, we visited McDonalds for lunch. Given that this was a match day the restaurant coped admirably with the numbers and I simply walked up to the counter and ordered our meals. It was noted that other diners were struggling with the self-order board which in my opinion is a waste of rations and takes far longer to be served by using it. After eating our lunches, we visited the toilets which are located on the 1st floor and were very clean.

We have visited this place four times this year for breakfast and is always a must stop before driving home from Colchester,the food was always hot and the place is busy,plenty of car parking space probably could be a big bigger as very popular with travellers driving up the motorway,toilets and place were very clean and staff friendly the breakfast wrap is always a good choice,if I had one complaint I would let the thing drain a bit because cooking oil drips from the bottom of wrap,reason for that is because it's fast food!as for the coffee and tea superb,better than a lot of chain coffee shops!

After a long tiring day out we decided on a burger at the Colchester McDonalds. We queued to get on the car to join the convoy driving round looking for a space, eventually abandoning the attempt. Don't waste your time pulling off the A12.

Esto es una decepción como un área de servicio, principalmente porque es una unidad con toda alrededor de 8 espacios para aparcar coches y parecían estar llena de coches personal! Es muy difícil llegar a salvos y aún más difícil salir de antifuego comenzó sin que! No logramos llegar a parar porque no había donde parar si necesario para que se extienden las piernas después de salir del M25. Evitar a toda costa!

Lovely clean place food cooked properly. Play area for the young kiddies. Parking good . Plenty of seating outside too .

He pasado 3 años viajando entre Kent y Suffolk y esto a menudo era nuestra parada para un bocado rápido.

Voy a innumerables veces este Mcdonald's, ya que es por la calle de mi casa. Los últimos tiempo he estado aunque, ojalá no lo hubiera hecho. Los pedidos se han equivocado, cosas que se hayan perdido y que incluso fue testigo de uno de los stick personal dedo medio a un grupo de clientes que asumo eran sus amigos. Uno de los funcionarios también estaba parado con el grupo y tener una conversación mientras otros clientes estaban presentes. No es exactamente un restaurante, y procedimientos debe saber teniendo en cuenta que trabajo en un restaurante yo.

Este fue uno de mis visitas regulares hacia arriba y abajo de la A12, sin embargo, he dejado de visitar debido a que el estacionamiento era limitado y conduzca a través de ser constantemente muy concurrido.

Limited parking for the size of the restaurant, the main trade seems to be drive through sales. Very busy when we were there, food good and hot place looked clean for how busy it was.

On my way home nipped in for a quick snack, found it just like any other Mc Donalds if you like Mc Donalds this is one for you.

We're not talking fine dining, but compared to every other mcdonals I've been to, this one is the best. Both drive through and in restaurant have the best presented and tasting food and the service is always good. No complaints.

Estuvimos aquí con mi nieto ya que tienen una cosa jugar cube, pero estaba lleno de kits que eran demasiado grandes para estar en él, hay una señal clara con máximo de altura! Pero tanto los adultos con estos niños y el personal esta dejando a los niños donde eran del tamaño justo para ser en peligro de ser aplastado.

Menores en el lado equivocado de 60 y 80 de McDonald's no es nuestra primera opción para llamar a pero el tráfico y el clima horrible significaba que era conveniente. En general EL PERSONAL DE MCDONALD'S no son conocidas por la amabilidad y eficiencia de la limpieza, pero esto es exactamente lo que me encontré en este McDonald's. Sólo si otros podían ser el mismo. Ubicación de fácil acceso ya que se fuera de una carretera de acceso a la A12, justo al lado de la Baja Colchester United Football (otro lado de la A12). Este es un gran McDonalds, así que nunca he tenido un problema conseguir un asiento, colas mueven muy rápido también. Hay una gran zona exterior de juegos para niños para correr (probablemente antes de que he llenó en hamburguesas!). El aparcamiento es tan enorme que el aparcamiento no es un problema. La comida es la misma que McDonald's, por lo que sabía qué esperar.

Basically this is a moan about the self-order system installed in this restaurant, which the staff basically said we have to use as they were short staffed and very busy.

Un viaje a la más cercana McDonald's era imprescindible después de la primera experiencia de conducción de nuestro nieto adolescente para menores de 17 años en el estadio Comunidad en un brumoso y noviembre fría domingo por la tarde. Nadie parecía importarle que 8 de nosotros presentamos que quieran una enorme variedad de hamburguesas, picaduras, envolturas y así sucesivamente. Los muchachos adolescente no puede, parece, sobrevivir en una hamburguesa. La planta baja estaba bastante concurrido, pero la zona de estar de arriba no estaba tan mal. Estaba limpio y el servicio era rápido y afable. Muy práctico a la A12, pero el aparcamiento era un poco de una pesadilla ya que el aparcamiento estaba lleno. En general, la experiencia de un McDonald's.

He estado en este restaurante dos veces con mi amiga y sus hijos y en ambas ocasiones se dieron orden equivocado! La primera vez que no podía demostrar que fue mal lo de la hija más vieja de mi amigo habían tirado el recibo. La segunda vez que fui, me quejé y se corrige la orden!

Easy to access when travelling on the A12 near Colchester. New facility abd being well looked after. Standard menu. Enjoyable visit and will come back.

Este es uno de los mejores Mcdonalds que he visitado, el personal es muy amable y nuestro pedido muy rápido. Es totalmente accesible con ascensor al nivel superior y aseos, hablando de los baños estaban muy limpias. Vale la pena una visita si necesitas una parada cuando paso.

Ésta era la primera vez que visitábamos para un bocado rápido mientras viajaba por la A12. Fue una sorpresa agradable, moderno y está impecablemente limpio, con personal eficiente y amable. Aunque muy ocupado nuestra orden fue tomada rápidamente, te dan un recibo impreso con un número de la colección, en su número aparecerá en la pantalla como "Siendo procesados" o "listo para Collection" ... nuestro pedido estaba listo en pocos minutos, y estaba caliente, así que no hay quejas. Si no quieres hacer cola para realizar su pedido hay dos grandes pantallas interactivas de menú y pastillas frente al entrar y usted puede recoger, elegir y pagar por su orden en estas pantallas. Esto parece ser un McDonald's muy ocupado y aunque hay asientos al aire libre y en la planta baja y la primera planta asientos adicionales no le vendría mal, fuimos una semana ordinaria día y tuvimos la suerte de encontrar asientos. También hay la opción de la "en coche a través" instalaciones si prefiere y también tiene una pequeña zona de juegos para niños. El aparcamiento no es especialmente grande y nos dimos cuenta que algunos coches iban a varias veces antes de que encontramos un espacio de aparcamiento. Como este McDonald's está en el lado opuesto de la A12 desde el Colchester United Football Stadium imagino que podría ser bastante "Mad" cuando están jugando un partido en casa. En resumen, este es un gran además del clan de McDonald's y bien merece la pena una visita para un bocado para comer si viajas en la A12.
