Short staffed due to illness .if the food orders are going to be late the customers should be told how long the waiting time is.20mins - 1/2 hr

Good service but slow at busy times with you waiting up to at least 20 mins at whether dining in or taking out even if just ordering a coffee. Could do better in some areas especially in counter service etiquette but overall satisfactory.

I waited 40 minutes for delivery and then I cancelled. Too long waiting time .

I only ordered some fries, water and an apple pie. They didn't have it ready at the drive through so I was asked to park up and they would bring it out. 10 mins later, nothing. Had to ask and then it came out. Fries were tepid at best. Breakfast at this place eating in, however, is great

delivery driver was brilliant, food was worse I've ever had, I believed as courier was waiting 20 minutes at restaurant for food order that it would be freshly cooked. not at all, it was cold and selects in the wrap were very dry and over cooked. eaten as starving but wish I'd not bothered to order.

Possibly the slowest fast food outlet locally. Approximately 15 minutes from ordering (drive through) to driving out. No sparkling drinks, no large bags to put the order in and no drinks trays. 5 minutes drive home and the food was luke warm at best, topped by finding some of the order was missing.

Hash browns missing off both meals today and second time they have sent hot latte instead of iced

Popped in and ate inside. Ordered food and sat at table. Waited ages. When food came, fries were so salty couldn't eat them all. Big mac was flat full of lettice and very disappointing. Coffee was OK.

It's McDonald's so the food is as you'd expect. Service is usually quick, or at least as quick as it can be at this time (During the SARS-COV-2 Pandemic). Have seemingly always handled traffic really well during the pandemic and of course, the food always seems to come out nice and hot. If the McDonald's locations in Sutton and Mansfield are roughly the same sort of distance as this one, I'd thoroughly recommend this one over the other two, though do be aware that prices are slightly higher at this location, hence the 4 star review. If it weren't for the higher prices, this would be an easy 5* location. However, this location seems to consistently deliver food that is hot enough to arrive home still hot, definitely more consistent than other nearby locations. 2024 Edit: Service has gone downhill. You'll likely struggle to park as most drive thru orders will be told to park up. You're often left waiting 10-15 minutes for food after being told to park up. Staff are friendly enough about it, but otherwise, service is pretty slow. Despite this wait, food often comes out only warm. Definitely not hot enough to make it home with some temperature still left in it as used to be the case. I'd suggest visiting other fast food options, including other McDonald's in the area. October 2024 Edit: Service improved shortly after the last edit. However, it has dropped once again. Drive thru orders being told to park up seems to have improved significantly as it appears most drivers are now being served at the drive thru, as it should be. Service times have improved at the expense of quality of work. Virtually every time I have ordered a soft drink, I've been given a cup that was either overfilled or the lid and/or cup were covered in said soft drink. This has resulted in numerous spills, albeit minor spills, as the drink pours off the lid and various splatterings of soft drink which have come off the exterior of the cup. It's so much of an issue that I'd almost consider billing them for product cost and labour for having to clean up the mess they cause to the interior and exterior of my vehicle. And if the repeated spillage of highly acidic drinks starts to eat away at the paintwork of my vehicle, I will absolutely be chasing them for costs. Temperature is the same as before. It comes out warm, by the time you've got home it doesn't have much heat left in it... A stark contrast to my original review. Recommendation: Eat on-site only unless you live just down the road. For drive thru service, seek one of the other nearby sites.

South normanton branch, what a set of incompetent individuals, check your food before leaving, especially if you are eating out. Things missing, the wrong drinks, chicken instead of beef. Come on, how hard can it be. 😫

Came here 10:00 for my break. 3 people in queue. Staff just talking between each other. Not trying to rush. Now is 10:29 and I’m still waiting. It was saying please collect your order 15 minutes ago. No one bothered to actually give it to me.

I ordered breakfast on the app. People were using the pick up bays incorrectly. I was made to wait 5 minutes whilst the operators took the mick. Told them my code. Sorry breakfasts over. Waste of fuel and time!!

This place always misses something from the order, it’s almost a guarantee to be missing something 😂 delivery usually on time but has been mega late on occasion.

Don't use this McDonald's order delivered missing all the drinks and most of food order, bizarrely split what food was delivered and split it between two delivery bags?? What food was delivered was also cold.

Good service and nice location. It's just the parking and the rush that is a bit upsetting. Some people were quite rude in the parking because of the shortage of space. There is a 90mins limit on the stay so be careful. Overall a nice experience

McDonald’s is 5 minutes away, driver picked up food then picked up another order from five guys. Food turned up cold 20 minutes after expected time.

Whenever you come here, mysteriously Drive-thru is never working and staff are so slow! Unless you call out & ask you’ll be waiting ages for someone to take your order. Would avoid at all costs moving forward.

I have yet to receive a correct order delivered from this branch. Missing food yet again. Impossible to get through on the phone to complain. My advice is to collect only, and always check your order before leaving the window. Even better advice, divert to Somercotes.

driver tried to go to the wrong place resulting in my meal being cold... yet again they can't offer a warm meal as it sits on the counter waiting for collection!

Never seems to be enough workers here. They all seem to be rushed off there feet working the best they can. Think management need to get some more on shift and stop trying to save money.

I now understand why this particular McDonalds has only 2.8 stars. Food was cold, no dips when they were ordered, not even a straw for the drink. All in all, pretty terrible… even by McDonalds standards.

aside from the fact my food was cold upon arrival with no straws or ketchup, the driver was in foreign conversation on his photo whilst getting my food out his boot and my door. The only thing he said was 'code'. j said have I got to painfully go back upstairs to get a code when clearly we are number 17 and I'm Mrs Simpson Eyre. He just srugged his shoulders at me. please don't send him to my house again.

Missing items again, last few orders from here we’ve had missing items from our orders

We are missing a whole meal. Double sausage and egg mcmuffin meal with extra sausage and extra egg. There are 2 hashbrowns missing plus the orange juice

This place is just decent, didn't really enjoy to be there other than the food taste. The place is clean but missed a vibe, usually McD interiors are bit interesting and colourful but this one is not. Food is wonderful and no disappointment on that part. Do read the signboards carefully as entrance and exit points are different.

Do not go here... The food made me ill had to wait ages the food is piled up and the staff just pick the next one off the top and so who ever gets one from bottom is cold. My banana milk shake was half full of chocolate shake and I was there for 39 mins waiting. Also if you look into the cooking area it's a mess and floors not clean and that's what you can see.

We went on the Thursday night on way back from hospital and ordered 2 smocked house chicken burger meals and 2 apple pies to take to eat in the car Got to the car and one lot of chips missing then no cheese, onion or barque sauce on the cobs, Judy like a chicken sandwich Came to have a drink of the coffe and stone cold just water and after getting out of the car to go back in to say my chips were missing I just couldn’t be bothered to go in again to say half of my sandwich was missing as well as the excuse was when I went in first time I’d well we are busy and it’s not good enough for the price you pay!!!! Steer clear and eat somewhere else for better value

Well....my kids have being going crazy about the Grimace shake it was payday so I treated them! They was both so excited to be getting a grimace shake each with there mcds dinner...delivery arrived on time which was great but opened the drinks to find NO grimace shakes but just 3 cokes! how dissapointing had 2 very upset children! - don't state there available on website if there not available it would help

I am disgusted with the service I received today. After receiving my delivery, 3 items were missing including 2 whole burgers. It is not hard to read items off a screen and package them up and I know this because I have previously worked in a fast food restaurant. Do not recommend. When I phoned up to ask what to do they told me to ring Uber eats which doesn’t even pick up. Very poor customer service.

Wrong Item Delivered no reason why. Since when has Coke Been Milkshake ??? Allergic to it and Can't even drink Coke. small order took over an hour, even the driver was waiting for 35 mins to get my order, they can't even get it right.

Both breakfast rolls with ketchup were barely lukewarm and the bread was hard as though it was stale.

20 minutes late and it was cold

Ordered via the app for quick pick up via the drive-thru. How wrong could I be. Sat in the queue for over 10 mins not moving (at 9.45 at night), when we did finally get to the collection window, we were told there was another 6 min wait on the Apple Pies. By this point, I'd had enough and asked for a full refund, which after waiting again, I was given by the most miserable, petulant, unhelpful, and rude staff member who handed me my money and just walked away. Fast food, no! Service with a smile, no! Service at all, again no! Customers lost, YES!
