Domino's Pizza in Ashfield

Another chain that does exactly what all the others do, great deals if you use the app and time it right but the pizzas are worth it if your sharing

Well, against my better judgement, and after a drink when I thought the world was wonderful - I wouldn't of done it sober - I tried again. Domino's still appear to vet my order and again decided that my order was wrong and so decided to send me what they wanted...... Couldn't follow an order/customisation even when Future custom depends on it..... Just got to keep reminding myself that they never follow my order and the dough balls might of been 'rolling around' in the back of a civic. Fair to say that after a hiatus of 6 months they are still consistent..... Shame. Old review....... I'd stopped going by this point as they couldn't get a pizza customisation right. Wasn't a customer at the time, I was using toolstation. But, on 14/Feb/23 they were transporting dough in the back of an old (a new wouldn't of made it better) Honda Civic! Uncovered (certainly the top trays)... This place is now a no go for me. Dominos on X didn't disagree that this was standard practice, they wanted me to jump through hoops to tell them so it makes me wonder what they do allow as they didn't seem bothered.

I placed alot of orders with Domino's a few bad experiences but today's order was vile apart from the garlic bread. Pepperoni pizza cheese & pepperoni just fell off the base my order was not cooked properly it came within 5mins of placing order. The guy was rude that delivered it to I will be requesting a full refund

painful - wrong orders, you can watch on tracking your delivery time just slip away. even says its delivered , when tracking shows it hasnt left. This has to be the worst Dominoes in the UK, I actually cant believe they havent been audited by the company they are so bad. As I type this my order should have been delivered half an hour ago. I said never again the last 3 occasions - but now I definately wont order again.

I ordered a thin base cheese n Tom pizza,9.99 pickup got it home it was like a crispy cream cracker with fat dripping off it ,and my daughter found a long hair in the cheese dangling there … couldn’t understand the staff either ,not great language and you can’t pay with cash ,?

Found more than one hair on our pizza, brown hairs and we both have blonde hair. Tried calling but surprisingly no one answered and attempted to call 5 times. Only second issue I've ever had but hairs on a pizza enough to put me off ordering ever again. Plus the fries were cold. Probably helped if the drivers had the bags zipped up.

Honestly this is one of the worst Domino’s in the country. They run out of several added ingredients you paid for on your pizza and don’t even call to tell you, instead just give a very dry sad looking cold pizza, plus soggy fries and give the vegan pizza a none vegan dip since there’s no vegan dip left?! I got the whole order refunded by head office it was that bad and this is not the first time this store has given me shocking food.

Ordered a pizza with an extra topping at £1.99 each, and a vegan pizza which was meant to have vegan chicken, mushrooms and onions on. They had ran out of mushrooms and onions, leaving the vegan pizza looking very sorry. They didn't attempt to get in touch to offer other toppings, they just made the pizza and apologised. They also put a non vegan sauce in the vegan pizza box and said it was because they had no vegan left. You just don't do that. Both of these pizzas are the worst pizzas we have ever had, and the chips were warm at best. I would definitely avoid this dominoes at all costs.

No vouchers available, no decent deals, costs a fortune now

Fantastic pizza and great service here. The guys didn’t need to but they really helped me out today when I had problems with my motorbike.

Absolutely disgusting service. Orderd 2 sets of cookies. One chocolate orange and one normal. Went to collect and they said the orange cookies were out of stock so they just gave us 2 normal sets. No phone call to confirm this? No apology and no complimentary item. I wouldn't have wanted 2 sets if they were the same but of course I'd already paid online and they'd already made the cookies so they forced us to pay for something that we hadn't ordered. Disgusting.

Poor customer service. They're happy to take your money and force you to have something you didn't even order.

Looking at the staff, a completely racist workplace as not 1 English worker in there. Wouldn't really be bothered but all staff are so rude and service is poor.

I would give less than one star if I could. We placed an order tonight and received an order confirmation at 7.54pm. At 8.23pm our order said it had been delivered on the app, but it wasn't anywhere to be seen and there was no knock at our door. My Husband rang the restaurant and asked where it was and without even checking the guy flippantly kept repeating "it's on the way, it's on the way", and my husband couldn't get much more of a word in before the phone was down. We understand that they are busy, but he was just plain rude. Another 40 minutes go by and still no order arrives. We ring again and say we don't have our order and the same guy agrees to remake and send our order again. Nearly another hour goes by after this and still no order arrives. We call again and the same guy acts like we never called in the first place! Said something about sending a driver out and put the phone down again. I called back to say we didn't understand and to clarify what was happening, and again said he would remake it and kept saying "fine, fine", he had a rubbish attitude and sounded like we were putting him out or something and again the phone was down with no goodbyes and not once in any of these calls did the guy apologise. I called back for a refund straight after that and told him to leave the food. With the price of their pizza and the atrocious attitude of the manager at the Sutton-in-Ashfield store we will NEVER be ordering from Domino's again and have put in a complaint with customer service, just to make them aware of his attitude to customers. I am really not sure how he still has a job there. On the last call I asked him to confirm that he would refund me, which he said he would, but no refund was given after waiting a few days, so I had to contact Domino's customer service team again in order to get a refund. Absolutely shocking.

Had a couple of issues with this place so no longer go as papajohns just down the road so much better.Collected a pizza which was burnt and the last time I went I could see my order on the side ready but was totally ignored even when I was trying my best to get their attention but they simply ignored me when i kept saying excuse but my orders there ready.I was stood there several minutes before they gave me my order with no apology.There was another customer waiting witnessing it all who found it funny and even apologised to me for laughing but as she said it was as though your invisible the way their ignoring you!Needless to say o wont be going back

Domino's Sutton in Ashfield. Happy to take your money whilst their equipment was broken, but refused to issue refunds and deal with disgruntled customers. While I waited in store the manager constantly walked away when I requested a refund and he also failed to deal with other customers who were also waiting to be refunded. I have never known customer care like it. The branch were still taking online orders and telephone orders even though they could not honour the said orders! The area manager arrived and just stayed in the office at the back of the store, refusing to deal with the issue and refusing to deal with customers (ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC). Looks like I will be contacting my bank to ask for a chargeback. AVOID.

Desk should be cleaned up immediately a customer is done.

Terrible customer service. I called the store after the Dominos App had said my order was delivered when it hadn't been. The person I spoke to on the phone rudely told me it was on the way, then hung up on me before I could say anything else. After another 45 minutes of waiting I called again, and the same person said they will remake the order and sent it out to me. After waiting yet another hour, I called the store and spoke to the same person. This time he feigned ignorance and pretended to not remember me calling twice before. In the end the store did not give me my order, or even a refund. I had to contact Domino's Customer Care team to get my money back. I will never order from this store again.

I have never had any problems with this dominos before, but tonight was horrendous… The pizza app said it was delivered and it wasn’t and when it arrived it 30 minutes later it was stone cold and they hadn’t even bothered to cut it.. they left mushroom on when I asked for it to be removed.. not sure what’s going off but they need to sort it..

I gave 1 because I can't give less. Tonight my daughter attempted to place an order with the Domino's in Sutton-in-Ashfield. She put in her order and then whilst she was giving the card details the person taking the order told her to F...off and cut the phone on her. I then called straight back to find out what had happened. The same person cut the call on me when I tried to get an explanation. I called back again and a lady answered, I asked to speak to their manager and she passed me on to another man. I explained that someone had been rude to my daughter and wanted to find out why and that I wanted to make a complaint. He was equally rude to me and told me to go and order somewhere cheap. I was totally shocked by this behaviour. The man refused to give me his name. My husband went to the shop to try and speak to the manager but was told he'd gone home. All we wanted was an apology, because this behaviour is totally unacceptable. My daughter is 16yrs and has a slight lisp, I thought ordering for herself would help boost her confidence but this has really upset her and knocked her confidence. The pizza she was trying to order was to welcome back her sister from University, its damped our spirits at a time that's supposed to be joyful. Needless to say we ordered from elsewhere and won't be using Domino's again!

Phoned the order through and ready for when we picked. The pizzas were perfect, still hot when we got them home and tasted delicious. Staff at the store were welcoming and friendly.

Not impressed I will never order from here again took over 2 hours to arrive and was only just warm when I got it. Didn’t enjoy it when it got here

Pizza was very tasty...I went for the mighty meaty and was sure mighty and plenty of meat. Not too greasy just the way I like it.

Rubbish food was cold pizzas left on the side .as something wasn't ready.

Had my fair share of pizzas all around the uk, good and bad but always superb from Sutton in Ashfields branch of Dominos, the staff know how to make a perfect pizza and always on time.

When placing collection order, time for order was 10-15 minutes. I arrived to collect after 15 minutes but had to wait another 20 minutes and then had to raise the attention of staff to point out my pizza was sat waiting. Staff were defensive and unapologetic. Complaint email sent to store so hopefully some improvements are made..

Domino's good as always. Sutton-in-Ashfield one is texting people about offers with promo codes and it goes cheap sometimes

Ordered from this Domino’s on the 2nd December 2021 for my Lunch while I was on a Site I was visiting for Work. Ordered it in good time at the start of my Lunch break but the Tracker said it was in Prep for almost half hour so phoned them for an update. Was told it would be another 25 minutes before it arrived. Got the text saying the Driver was on the way so Google Mapped it and worked out it was a 12 minute drive. Phoned the Store again after another 30 minute wait from the text and was told the Driver was 5 minutes away as the online Tracker does not give the location in transit. It took the Driver 45-50 minutes to arrive in the end and when he did, my Food was cold with very sparse toppings on top of the Pizza. So over an Hour for my order to arrive and that point my Lunch was over. The only saving grace was that my Appointment was late so I had chance to eat it before they arrived of which I did not enjoy as it was cold. The Staff member on the Phone did apologise and was polite but just not good enough to receive anything more than a 1 star review. Would strongly suggest avoiding this Domino’s for Deliveries and wish I had checked reviews before I ordered.

Well on the 15th September 20/20 ...i ordered a take-away pizza 🍕 from dominoes pizza....i phoned them direct!! N did my order over the phone 📱... took my details off my card....n bobs ya uncle...i had a nice pizza delivery. It's nice that even in this day and age dominoes still have the same great pizza as always. 😊

We ordered the Tuesday for two deal as we were going to have a quiet evening, our order firstly stated that it was on its way but then took an extra 25 minutes, when our order came we didn’t receive our drink that we ordered, we rang up and they stated that they will have it to us, our order came at 19:10 at 22:05 we were still waiting for our drink, we will most Definitely not be coming back, this is a disgrace

Absolutely shocking! Waited an hour and a half for 2 pizzas. Was told when I called to chase the order that we’ve not got any drivers. They offered me some free nachos as an apology. When the food arrived, no nachos and some of the toppings were missing that I’d paid extra for. Stay away as its changed. Must be new staff and owners as it used to be good.

First time I've had a dominos pizza in over 2 years and everything was nice up until I got to the pizza which had onions on it. Which my body does not agree with and I did not ask for onions on my pizza. Not normally one to complain but it seems to be every time I have a pizza there's onion on when I didn't ask for it.

Poor! We haven’t used this branch for around a year due to poor pizza & service in the past. We were passing so decided to fold t rather than order delivery from our local branch. The pizza is now in the bin! It was barely sprinkled with cheese, I little near the crust but the centre was swamped with sauce & no cheese just made it sloppy. I’d prefer less meat & put a normal Amount of cheese. We rang as it wasn’t edible unless you like sloppy food, passed to 4 lads, no one had a clue & then said nothing they can do as no manager in!! Wow! What an establishment. This branch really let a usually good brand down. I hope your area manager sees the poor reviews & tries to bring you up to standard! I’d avoid ordering from here. Papa John’s just opened down the road & Pizza Hut around the corner, I’ll take my custom there.

TERRIBLE, ordered from here about a year ago and had a pizza delivered with no cheese on it, rang them and they sent out another pizza again with no cheese, a year on I have ordered again thinking things might have changed, unfortunately not pizza has very very little cheese on it again, I have the same pizza from the Kirkby In Ashfield Domino’s at least once a month and it’s perfect, I can only say that the Sutton franchise must be trying to maximise profits by cutting back on the ingredients used, to get the same problem a year later I can’t think of any other reason, if you’re collecting it’s worth the extra mile to Kirkby In Ashfield for a proper domino’s pizza.

Just lately the pizzas have been lovely, however I don't know what happened Sunday evening, I guess they were busy, but the pizzas were burnt and there was hardly any cheese on the pizzas or garlic bread.

Was a domino's the sloped curb we sat on was a nice touch

Be careful if you work there, the managers like to assign the wrong jobs then accuse you of stealing money.

Ordered £28.99 worth of food for delivery for it not to turn up! Placed my order at 6:20pm on Saturday 28th March. The order went through via PayPal (in which I received an email) as well as Domino’s website telling me that my order would be here in 85-90 minutes. I rang Domino’s 29 times for them not to pick up. I finally got through at 9:50pm for them to tell me they ‘don’t think they’ve got my order’ and they can try and refund me tomorrow! We have no food in the house due to having to isolate (as per everyone else) and to then be told they will not deliver me any food!! Absolutely disgusting service!

Fantastic!!! Ordered pizza and extras for 4 people. Staff were very polite and professional when taking the order. Food arrived piping hot 10 minutes before the scheduled delivery time, delivery driver was polite and friendly. Food was excellent.

Top pizza wouldnt have it from anywhere else. Loads of choice different toppings. Good delivery service.

We love Dominoes because the pizzas aren't absolutely swamped with an inch of cheese on top! They know that adding more cheese isn't what makes a pizza tasty. They are just right, all the taste but not overdone with the cheese!

We had the latest deal with dominoes not only was the pizza yummy £20 fed 4 people. The delivery was even early.

Daughter ordered a pizza from Dominoes by mistake, (we always order Pizza Hut on outram street which is fantastic )and when it arrived I could not believe the poor quality and extortionate price, will never ever order from here or recommend this place!!! Had to give it 1 rating despite me wanting to give it zero!!!!!!!

Only got 1 star as you cant leave 0. Myself and my mate went in this place on New years eve to order pizzas for our families. We duly ordered our pizzas, but as my mate has type 1 diabetes and has suffers from celiak disease he has to have gluten free. We gave our orders and was about to pay when the young girl asks a colleague who comes over and says we can only get gluten free if we order over the internet! Really? OVER THE INTERNET?? He claimed it was company policy. But we were stood in front of him. I asked if we could order using my phone and take the rest over the counter he said yes. We left and took our business elsewhere who were more accommodating. What school of business do these cowboys attend? Absolute joke! We wont be using dominos in future!

Went to this place on New years eve to order for our family and my friends family. We entered the place chose what we wanted and duly ordered or pizzas. Now my friend suffers with type 1 diabetes and celiak disease which mean he needs gluten free. The young girl took our order (to the value of over £60) and then asked a colleague over to query the order. We were then informed we can only order gluten free over the internet! I honestly cannot get my breath! we duly went elsewhere that were more accommodating.

Dominoes is one of the best pizza places.Everything they sell are yummy and do not worry about toilets because in every dominoes I have been to has at least one toilet.From Kate×××

I ordered a pizza gave my post code and full address. Asked as well if they can knock to the door or call me when they will deliver as I have 2 months old twins sleeping upstairs. The driver called me on my mobile phone that his outside waiting but he was at the wrong address. I clearly gave a post code number and name of my street. He was barely spoke english and said that I gave wrong address and he will be there in 2 min. Didn't take new post code from me lol if he had wrong info. Than he rang the door bell 3 times to wake my babies and deliver cold pizza. Thank you dominoes you that you called me from a wrong address that you are outside but you couldn't do it at mine. Don't recomen at all
