Delicious food,. clean environment. Quick service. Friendly staff.

This place used to be good for pizzas however my food was bland and a very undercooked pizza which was basically raw dough with uncooked toppings

They employ staff who steal your numbers from the order receipt and then text you from their personal number ehich if I'm correct is breach of data protection

I have just finished my dinner tonight from Seagull and as I came on here to review how amazing my food was I came across two nasty reviews. I have been a customer at this place for 2+ years and their food has been lovely since the first day! The last 2 comments have clearly been done by someone who obviously has nothing better to do in their life! Till this day I have never had an issue with anything i have brought from here. I personally think they should be taken to court for this purpose, no one has the right to bad mouth another business by writing false reviews!!

The food was excellent tonight, The pizzas was cooked lovey very tasty Will be going back. The best kebab meat in hucknall, chicken tikka was brilliant.

Made a order for delivery food arrived had about 8 chips meat cold and greasy my partner had pizza which was uncooked ham looked like luncheon meat cheese not even melted cheap pre cooked pizza base.food went in the bin or would have probably made us ill. won't ever order from here and definitely would not recommend.

Just passing and had nothing to eat all day so thought i would stop with my husband and try this chippy out wish i didnt now Was rushed to make my order when i got there than ignored served 2 people after I ordered and they was told to take a seat I never got offered and was still waiting when they were served got home with food found the whole experience very expensive and very disappointing would never go there again don't waste your money would strongly recommend somewhere else

Spent £22.50 and have thrown half of it away as it was disgusting! The pies looked like they had been sat there all day, the battered sausage tasted weird and the chips weren't much better. Very disappointed and will not go there again.

This chippy is nothing like it used to be I felt judged at the moment I walked in the door with a guy bribing tbe counter steering at me as I walked out the shop the bag split so had to go back in and then it tuck them 5 mins to sort that out as they got something mixed with my order i don’t know how lol and then got home to find all the food specially tbe chips tasted like they was say all day not even bothered about serving fresh as the fryer person was stud there Doing argly anything bring back the old Turkish owners that was there for years they actually had passion and wanted to serve good fresh food don’t go here guys

IWarmed up from dinner time mixed kebab meat & it was so greasy couldnt eat that it was stone cold betime i got home & live 5 mins away & the chips wasn't much better neither very disappointed

First time cording from here look on photo and look at the menu and fort this look a good place to order from but Iv had 3 mouth fulls and can’t eat no more it was the worst food I have ever had the peas take like a bottle off vinegar the fish was really hard and over cooked and the chip have no taste!

This used to be the best place for fish n chips great service & quality food.. Now its just an excuse to perve on girls n rip ppl off ! Last few visits the food has been dry under cooked or bland. My lad picked up a treat chippy for his nan & it cost just under £40 .. I'm struggling to see how X1 Donna naan X1 chips fish cake peas X3 fudge cakes came to that price ? Absolute disgrace 😤

Food is delicious! Food is always fresh and prepared to a high standard! It is always service with a smile, staff are always super friendly. Been coming to this chippy for 3 years and never had any complaints. Best takeaway in hucknall by far!

Hmmm not normally one for a bad review but unfortunately we have given this chippy so many chances. -Portion sizes have gone down -Quality has done down -Price on menu is different to what they say. -Noticed a dog tied to a tree in the blistering heat in their back garden ! No shade!!(reported) The attitude of the owner is awful, a guy was also moaning about the prices being different to what was told so he literally threw all the menus in the bin shouting "You happy?" like... Really? Just not the place it used to be.

Very poor fish, batter wasn’t cooked and most of it stuck to the wrapping. Peas were very watery and hardly any peas in there. Chips were terrible. Won’t be eating from here again!

This is the last time I will be using Seagull. Walk in at 7 o’clock, and all I wanted was a large chips and a curry sauce. Placed my order almost as I walked in and was told it would be a few minutes for chips. 4 other customers walked in after me and there orders were taken, but they all were served first. I didn’t walk out till 7:25. And the portion of chips was very small. Standards have slipped of a cliff. Also most of the prices have been blacked out, so you can’t budget when ordering. Won’t be going back.

Went here a few weeks ago, the food was stone cold, not only that, but one of the staff members kept offering me a pizza, upon saying no several times, he kept walking around to chat with me and kept staring me down, made me feel very uncomfortable, I was glad to be with my mum at the time. Very unprofessional of that staff member, put me off wanting to go again

Ordered a few days ago and will never order again food was cold delivery was far to long and the meat by the looks and taste of it had been sat for a few days disgrace I thought I would give them a second chance as the last time i ordered it was bad also and if I new it was going to be bad I would of sooner open a tin of the dogs food and served that up my brother was also left disappointed and left hungry

Do not order for delivery the food came late and when it arrived it was cold and the food was wrong! Was told they would honour discount next time. I have just rang to place order where they have said they will take off £3 off which is nothing compared to the £30 I spend last to not even eat it! Avoid this place! Very RUDE!

Sent my partner round 15/12/22. Ordered basic chips and fish cake, fritter and peas. Partner came back in tears, as to how the owner had talked to her, having got her order wrong. Over charged because of it. Food was poor, cold and disgusting service. Shame on you! At least the lady serving, apologised on behalf of the owner! Customer Is always right!...

Poor service, and unhelpful. Ordered at 6.07pm tonight for delivery and was told 20-30 minutes - 50 minutes later and nothing had arrived, so I called to chase and was told it was on it's way, and that he had left. This was clearly a lie as we live 4 minutes drive from there and he just fobbed me off! The order eventually arrived 1 hour late, and a hawaiian pizza arrived and not a farmhouse, leaving only garlic bread for a veggie, and was luke warm, but being hungry we had to heat it up in the microwave and gave up as it would be too late to eat otherwise. I wish I'd read the poor reviews before ordering. Get your act together, this is shocking and poor service and you will lose valuable customer I guess you can ill afford to lose.

Ordered sausage and chips but only the sausage arrived, daighter had to share with someone else. Kebabs didn't have the naan bread and one had a bbq sauce on it which wasn't on the order. Gravy pot had been squashed and was all over the bag. Food that did turn up was nice though.

So disappointed, Orderd a chicken kebab got it home and i thought something smelt funny so looking at my naan bread it had mould all over it and smelt very bad of mould. So phoned the shop explaining they said what do u want us to do, i said i would like my money back for them to reply with sorry we dont do that. However i then said well ill take further action they soon changed their minds. I would never eat here again maybe they need another visit from food hygiene. we used to go here all the time and it was lovley. But since the new owners took over prices are very high and obviously not bothered what they serve you !!

Absolutely appalling ordered a pizza just one and they got it wrong I made my own and when it arrived it was full of peppers and sweetcorn what I don't eat I sent it back I then rang and asked them not to bother sending another one out as was too late he then kept saying it will be there in 2-3 minutes I told him several times that the pizza had already arrived but was wrong so I don't want a replacement but he just wasn't listening I ended up putting the phone down on the end due to getting irritated he then rang me back and said don't put the phone down on me its not nice well I'm sorry but maybe if you stop talking and actually listen to your customers then they wouldn't feel the need to hand up on you... I will never order there food again!

Absolutely fantastic mixed kebab. And massive, no kidding. Loved it all, well worth the money, thank you guys, we will be back. Sorry no photo this time as ate it too quickly. 😋

tried to order online but it didn’t go through, however money was taken out of my account. i spent 15 minutes on the phone with them trying to sort out what had happened and got passed to 3 different people. they were very unhelpful and rude. had the phone put down on me. they were rude just because i wanted to understand why the money had come out of my account when the order hadn’t come through.

After a hard mornings work me and my colleague decided to have a hearty chip shop dinner, hungry and eager we ignored the waiting time and looked forward to our food, we opened it up to find chips resembling yellow cardboard that looked like they had been re cooked in dog urine, I would strongly recommend you stay well clear of this establishment because it can only be in my eyes a front for organised crime, “nobody cooks chips that bad “

They take their customers for granted due to their prime location and large range of choices. Card machine is never working, likely to save cost to them. Staff wearing dirty uniforms and wiping their hands anywhere they like. Basic standards have dropped. Even saw a delivery driver wearing his personal clothing making a pizza and touching the dough with his hands. I hope it was his own.. This place used to be great but now they just aren't trying to be good anymore. Such a shame.

We've used Seagulls many times over the years, mainly for Pizza, which we've never had a problem with. Just recently we tried their fish and chips, so ordered online to include delivery, strangely unlike the online pizza order, it doesn't give the option of when you would like delivery, so i made the order and then rang with a time that was best for us...not a problem, arrived at the time i asked for and all was well. This week, we thought we would do the same again, so made the order then rang and spoke to a lovely chap told him what time we would like delivery..not a problem ill sort that for you. Within mins of speaking to that guy, i received a call from Seagulls, different chap this time, advising my fish and chips were ready, this was just after 5pm, i wanted delivery between 6.15- 6.30, so i said id already asked for delivery at 6.30, his response was well they are ready now and will be cold by 6.30, so we will deliver now, i said well they will still be cold at 6.30 which is when we want them for if you deliver now and i wanted to keep our delivery at 6.30...his response to that request was that i shouldn't make an order online...then wait 10 mins before calling to say what time i want delivery, i told him this wasn't the case to which he agreed to deliver at our time and put the phone down. Considering this guy is dealing with customers on a daily basis his attitude was rude and arrogant...and after all of this the meal arrived 15 mins late!! Time to find somewhere else

Don't live in Hucknall and visiting family so don't normally eat take aways. However we ordered fish and chips, kebab and chips with salad. Came fresh and hot. It was absolutely lovely. Washed it down with a pint. Well worth ordering.

Terrible food chips are disgusting always black and cold, fish don't even taste like cod and always had batter missing of it. If you ring up to speak to anyone they are always rude and it's always the customers fault as never nothing wrong with there food last time blamed it on my taste buds and that was coming from the manager yet the food didn't even look edible. Its always cold. Overall just poor quality food and the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

There are many others around but not as clean as Seagulls Fish Bar. Great tasting food good service and big portions. I use them regularly at the weekends. I don't like to go anywhere else now - to avoid disappointment. 👍

Oh dear, 1 1/2 hours for delivery. Only because I rung after an hour or I think it would never had appeared. Not the first time either, I know we are in difficult times and I don't mind having to wait but to miss your order completely after taking your money is unacceptable. Another lost customer. Getting a lot of bad reviews, such a pity.

DONT EAT HERE PLEASE. This has to be the worst chip shop in Nottingham with the worst service, not only after receiving uncooked black chips with a battered fish that had half the batter stuck to the wrapper was I unsatisfied with the standard of food sold to me. so I naturally rang to complain an ask for fresh food (a replacement) because the food was not to standard I was told " I have no taste" an that know 1 else had complained, I tried to explain the chips were black an fish had no batter on it practically as it was all stuck to the wrapper I was then told if I wasn't happy don't order from here ever again my request for a refund or a replacement was ignored. I then became frustrated an had to tell him I will call environmental health an the police an my bank to get a refund because I was being ripped off I had paid for food that was cooked an fresh. I was then called bro which really aggravated me so I had to tell him he's not my bro as my brother would never serve me food like this eventually after having the phone put down on me repeatedly put down on me they agreed to replace my food but I will not eat here again an I was ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO EAT HERE !

Prices are starting to steady increase for less on your pizza and wraps and delivery is a joke hence not using again shame as it was very very good.

Been ordering here since June and only bad thing I had to say was chips are not great and sometimes Nan bread comes burnt. However, upon opening my chips tonight I found a metal nail, I rang the shop and told them and they said they will send some more chips. The driver turned up and couldn't care less didn't even want to take it back to shop. The fact that an incident like this didn't faze them and I received no apology baffles me. VERY DANGEROUS!!!!!

Place a order over 2 hours later still no food!! Manger didn’t seem to care kept saying oh it be 10 mins twice then oh 2 mins place takes your money then doesn’t bother doing what they say!!! Would NOT advise going there at all!!! Avoid like the plague still waiting for my money back as well......

Rubbish on delivery (late more then 30min)

Staff are rude, unhelpful! They would sooner stand talking then serve customer and have no quality customer service.

Have just spent 15 mins trying to get through to this takeaway to have the phone answered rather rudely told they were closed, so drove round and surprise suprise they was open,,,, I nicely asked if they had any fried chicken to be shown some chicken pieces in a hot counter that was turned off! Even with out any light on it you could see it was over cooked, the staff didn’t know if it was boneless either, saying I counted 7 of them In a small space also doesn’t fill me with confidence, won’t be going back now, luckily Pizza town isn’t too far away

Been here twice now and both times the food has been nice

So after waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes and phoning seagulls about our order not arriving, it arrived, cold and the pie we ordered looked like it was only a pie my greedy dog would eat so I threw it into the dog bowl where even my dog didn't look sure. So basically I had a cold chip sandwich and waited 1 hour 45 minutes for the privalige. I DO NOT recommend seagulls and will not order from there again.

Took over 25 minutes to be served and then they had ran out of what had been ordered.

Hot food, really tasty, 5* hygiene. Would recommend
