McDonald's in Leicester

First & upmost the McApp is rubbish, confusingly complicat, d and can not work out the offers. The whole website needs replacing. If you get an offer on your App, you click on the offer it disappears, so it's not easy. The menu on the App is a shambles. Inside the restaura, t the menu board again just shows set meals, not individual item price. The restaurant was busy with customers waiting for their orders. The service was slow.

Quick drive thru for work breakfasts. Fairly quick service but no smiles or friendliness just perfunctory service.

The food was great and the table service was brilliant.

I was staying in the area for work and visited the drivethru. It was very quick but the downside was that my food was cold. Very dissapointed.

All the time this Macdonalds is the worst one to go on drive thru they always forget sumthing from your order my advise is double check when you collecting it!!

NEVER EVER ORDER FROM HERE VIA THE APP. Saturday 1st February we ordered on the McDonald’s app from this restaurant £50 worth of food to wait a whole hour of the app showing us the delivery driver going all over Leicester for me to get fed up and ring after the hour mark, to weirdly be told the driver has just walked in to then come off the phone and the order be cancelled (because of Fanta being spilt in his bag) I kept my cool over the phone after ringing the restaurant again and no resolution from there side I was told I’d be sent an email to rectify/complain about what has happened and haven’t recieved anything. Very very bad service especially when we had a child waiting for food also. Again DO NOT order from McDonald’s app for delivery.

2022- Had to park up 15 mins for a hotchocolate. 2023-Always have to wait and parkup for drivethrough no matter what you order and its a long wait, usless long waits for soggy poorly prepped food. Go elsewhere Hamilton, Beaumont leys, town.... Update as of 2025 quicker to drive to another maccies than waiting here.

Rudest blonde female manager with a terrible attitude, I cancelled my order and went to KFC where they were happy to take my Scottish £20 note with gratitude.

25 min wait for stone cold food. Absolute joke avoid this place

A few young people brought in their bikes inside and were yelling a little. Wasn't TOO disturbing though.

During drive-through visits, we are consistently required to park and wait in the designated bay. Might as well call the mcdonald's and place an order 🤷

Wouldn’t bother ordering they forget half my meal everytime chips come like cardboard and stone cold and when requested a refund I don’t get it back

Rubbish service and food. Rob you blind. Charge for large meal get small/med fries, don't get half the order and when you question where is the stuff that they prepared they say wheres your receipt. Joke..

Not very happy with waiting times. It took 15 minutes this morning from when I pressed arrived in store, to actually receiving my food, and it wasn’t busy at all and drive through was clear too.

Please stop pre making drinks before people have even ordered.. fizzy pop flat so I check wverytime at 2nd window to see if they do the job properly iv just had a flat coke a large one too lazy employees

Manager was rude they get the order incorrect ever time asked me to go to back and pay extra because they can’t get a simple order correct.

2nd time same problem.. Last time I ordered burgers and 1 missing... This time today I also bought burgers and I choose chicken Bacon mayo and all r burgers come without Bacon.. I choose only lettuce off Very disappointed... Have a look properly what costumer ordered..

Always stay behind the order.always have to wait for your order does not matter drive through or any type of collection

By far the worst McDonald’s I’ve been too. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Staff are terrible, no customer service. Food was just as bad.

Abbey Lane McDonald’s sent out ice cream that tasted of chemicals. According to Just Eat I’m not entitled to a refund of that item because ‘All of our Restaurant Partners have their own recipes and cook in an individual style, so the taste, smell and portion size of a dish can vary depending on where you order it’. So if you enjoy paying to consume chemicals, order through Just Eat and make sure it’s from Abbey Lane McDonald’s.

Opened my door as was walking down the stairs and my mum and dad was in the next room I don’t appreciate that

Whole order was Cold, missing burgers fries and deserts, and happy meal toy so my grandson ain’t too happy, more like a unhappy meal

The drinks were all spilt in the bag and lots of the stuff were wet, including the stairs.

my hot drinks were left on the floor and they spilled everywhere so got no hot drinks waste of money

I have not eaten at mc donalds for years but we reluctantly stopped here on our way through leicester .I was impressed, food was really hot,fries had just a little salt (usually more salt than fries)and the coffee was strong and the cup was full,very nice well done mc donalds leicester, I will visit again maybe..

the delivery man put his bag on the floor to get our order out, he lifted the bag put with our hot drinks in and the bag has split and had leaked coffee because the lids had not been put on the coffee properly. so only half cups and soaking wet

Food was cold on arrival. Restaurant advertised delivery between 10-20mins food took 50mins to arrive. Driver was waiting to collect the food from the restaurant for 40mins+.

I am disappointed with McDonald's in Leicester I'm hungry and can't buy food with my money it's a shame for who runs this place I feel discriminated because I am from Scotland they didn't accept Scottish money at all I am asking myself the question do I live in the United Kingdom or is Scotland out the UK REALLY DISAPPOINTED JUST TO LET THE OTHER TRAVELLERS KNOW THAT THEY NEED TO IGNORE THIS PLACE IF THEY WANNA PAY CASH

Drive through keeps getting worse, makes you wait long periods after going through the drive through, which defeats the purpose of a drive through

Ordered a McRib accompanied with other food items however they didn’t give me the McRib which we paid for, additional the serving sizes were horrendous with a medium portion of fries when I ordered large. Disappointing

Its just like any other Mcdonalds..but i would suggest always collect and double CHECK your order rather than getting from drive thru...because u will end up with items wrong or missing and thats 100%.

missing my drink and Mcflurry (again)

One of the meal orders was missing, a milkshake was missing, there were no straws for the milkshakes that did arrive and there was no sauce for the nuggets. Poor service yet I know the staff there work really hard so I feel its a management issue!

Really unhappy with the service from Just Eat and the drivers who work for you! We have not received this order, nobody has arrived here. We cant track it to see exactly where it was dropped off. We cant speak to anyone! Its absolutely appalling!

Ordered just a burger and fries. Burger was missing the patty. How do you literally forget to put the burger in a burger in a burger restaurant? Super poor that mistakes like that can happen.
