McDonald's in Rotherham

Absolutely the worst McDonald's we have ever been to...can't agree more with previous reviewer! We waited in the drive thru for 45 mins for our food. Couldn't even back out and go somewhere else as we were blocked in by other cars. Went in to ask what the delay was and there was only about 10 customers waiting inside for food...wasn't even that busy! The staff weren't even moving with any bit of urgency at all and the manager didn't seems to have a clue that they were way behind when I talked to her. Shocking!

By far the worst mcdonalds I have ever had. I mean, I know its not fine dining but this place is just woeful. The food is always cold, the fizzy drinks are always flat. How this place stays open is beyond me. Oh, and it's never been fast food, you end up waiting between 20 and 30 minutes everytime you go. Embarrassing on so many levels

Came here for my daughters birthday. Unfortunately we sat outside and had members of staff vaping on the next table to us. For a family place to eat you wouldn't expect this to be allowed and I would have thought that staff would be encouraged to smoke/vape away from people eating.

Very rare they get an order right, had many a meal from this McDonald's and can count on one hand how many times an order has been correct, nearly every order has an item missing or wrong items all together. Also very slow receiving food, a couple of time seen lines nearly out of the door and people waiting throughout the restaurant, all while both managers and staff stand in the back chatting and laughing without a care for any customer. If there was any other McDonald's close to home I would 100% go there but as not, I have no option but to go here and constantly have to wait for and then complain over food.

Queues up in drive through on one lane. Kept serving cars in the other lane. Served 3 cars in a row. Drove to window to ask what was happening and that they served 3 cars in the other lane. Sorry one of our headsets is broken. Never dawned on them to close the lane or have someone come out to tell customers it’s broken. I suppose you get the service you pay for. Food was cold as well and they still got the order wrong AT THE WINDOW.

Used drive through and was served my Coffee and then told to Park up whilst they made my Wrap….after 15 Minutes I gave up and left with only my Coffee. The drive through was quiet at the time. This is not the first time I’ve had problems here especially with Cold Food. I’ve learned my lesson now. Avoid !!!!

The ice cream machine was working ,I was told to give the ice cream machine another chance , I expected to be disappointed as the ice cream machine rarely works ,I was happy the ice cream did taste lovely,it was a nightmare getting parked up and the wait time wasn’t the best despite it being busy I wasn’t happy at how long I had to wait for some food

Appalling, been just now 23/03/23 @19:00pm got my order all good to then drive 20 minutes home to soggy, undercooked, greasy, cold 20 chicken Nuggets, the amount of grease was pouring off each nugget. Had to bin the lot!

Fined £50 for staying over 90 mins for a business catch up. It was quiet, and we didn’t see any restriction signs. I am very unhappy as I’ve used previously and never been fined. MAKE YOUR PARKING FINES CLEARER!! You Lost a customer today.

Went to this McD’s first time since refurbed. Was told at midnight that the drive through was closed due to systems down and had to order inside. Inside took a good 10 mins for everything to be up and running. Staff really rude and ignorant including Assistant manager who suggest I should try a shift there!!! 🤨 once ordered took 25 mins to receive. Got home to find order incorrect with items missing. Will be putting in a formal complaint of the terrible service and attitude of the staff!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!

Shocking service. A drive through is supposed to be quick and convenient but this place is anything but. They spend more time catering for deliveroo drivers than the people actually at the restaurant. We waited 15 mins for our order which is frankly ridiculous.

We visited on Sunday lunchtime and it was very busy with Uber/Just Eat/ Deliveroo orders and drivers however not particularly busy in the seated area of the restaurant. We ordered to eat in and the order was done quite quickly but did not come on a tray so I asked for a tray and a young lad picked one up from behind the counter which was dirty - he knocked off the large crumbs into the bin and handed me the tray which he had not wiped down so I refused to take it and went to sit down with my food. On walking over to the table I noticed the other people who were eating in didn’t have trays either but there were dirty tray stacked up at the disposal stations. On opening the bag of food there was no serviettes or ketchup inside so I went to get some from the condiments station but there was no ketchup in the pump or serviettes so I went to ask at the counter. We were given ketchup pats and told that they would put serviettes into the dispenser and despite standing to wait for the serviettes no one came to refill it and it still hadn’t been refilled by the time we left. It’s pretty basic to provide trays and serviettes but this McDonald’s don’t seem to think of these two things as being important also their staff need training in basic hygiene.

Above average macs open 24hrs, busy even at 6.30am for breakfast. Just one slight compaint, having slept next door the drive through speakers are really noisy.
