McDonald's in Rotherham

I want to commend the staff at this McDonalds. My car broke down on the M18 and after waiting 2 hours for a pick-up truck, our "safe place" turned out to be very close to this McDonalds (much to my 12 year old son's delight!). Nothing was too much trouble, the staff were kind, understanding and checked in on us frequently, until our AA help arrived. The restaurant was kept extremely clean and my son said it was "the best McDonalds he's ever been to!" (& he's been to a fair few...). Thank you for making us feel welcome and looked after. (unfortunately I didn't get the names of the 2 staff in particular - it was Saturday 19th April late evening, and we were finally on our way south again around 10:30pm

One of the worst-run McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt — I understand mistakes happen, people are human, etc. But at this point, it’s beyond that. Almost every time I go, something in my order is wrong. It’s not a one-off; it’s clearly a recurring issue that points to poor training or a serious lack of care. Counting the number of burgers and putting them in a bag correctly shouldn’t be that hard. This is basic stuff. I don’t think the staff are being supported properly or trained to even a minimum standard, and it’s really starting to feel like no one there cares at all. Sort it out.

I Ordered pancakes with sausage and syrup, and get 3 pancakes dry!! I also ordered a galaxy latte and get a cup of pure coffee! Waste of £12 I’ve ever spent! Get a grip! How hard can it be it’s in the screen!

Very slow services and only 3 tissues for 4. People and a wet rug at the entrance no so fast food very loud and not fast and only 3 tissues !

Consistently dreadful service. Don’t try this place. You’ll regret it. Takes ages to get your food and you still won’t get what you ordered. The staff clearly don’t care about accuracy or attention to detail. Whether they’re understaffed or not I don’t know but there’s clearly no management or standards enforced. The staff consistently mark orders as complete and ready to collect when they’re nowhere near, presumably to pretend they’re hitting targets that they’re not. It takes literally 30-40mins to get your food and I can guarantee something will be missing from your order.

Absolutely horrific service from start to finish ! Ordered on the app 1 chicken nugget Happy Meal & 1 chips & 6 chicken nuggets with 10 minutes notice ( basic order ) Pulled up at the drive in at 16.49 was told to wait in the car park & eventually had to phone the branch up as the order was still not received. Asked what the problem was for a basic order & why it was taking so long ??? Was told “it’s just how it is mate” I then received the order at 17.10 which was 21 minutes wait for effectively 8x chicken nuggets & 2x chips 21 minutes ! It’s not the 1st or 2nd or 3rd time but now it’s going to be easier just to go to the chip shop as McDonald’s is no longer fast food & when you get it the portions are uneven & it’s clap cold and the service is horrendous. McDonald’s know all this and have removed the option to complain on the website. But I will take my frustration to social media & all platforms to make people aware of how bad the branch at Rotherham Bramley S66 1YY actual is. Just to repeat 21 minutes for 8 chicken nuggets & 2 chips.

small order placed through the drive through, pulled up to the collection window and parked up immediately along with the 10 other cars already parked up! There was no room to park anymore cars up so the following 3 cars parked up were blocking the exit to the drive through and the carpark. 25 minutes after ordering our order arrived barely warm. No apology given by the employee just shoved through the window without a word and walked off. Disgusting service!

I wasn’t Impressed that when we went to pick up a McDonald’s hardly anything was there fries , ice cream , milk shakes so me and a relative left and didn’t bother in ordering so disappointing

Above average macs open 24hrs, busy even at 6.30am for breakfast. Just one slight compaint, having slept next door the drive through speakers are really noisy.
