McDonald's in Northampton

Forgot my fries on an order of 2 things, it’s on a screen for you to read how do you butcher that?

We only went in for Mcflurries, but they were, as usual, spot on. There was a lady working and tidying up who was so friendly and helpful. I think her name was Jane 😊

Can never fulfill an order, always out of something, especially milkshakes! 😡

I went for a breakfast wrap at a rainy retail park it was my birthday on the 19th October and I treated myself I also like big mac meals also

You always get parking, that too for 4 hours McDonald's has a toilet. The toilet entrance is next to the collection counter. I love this Park

Place the order in drive thru for a meal. Doble check by the window before paying, to make sure that it's meal. The staff confirmed, that it's meal. When went to collect it, didn't receive the fries. Apparently they charged me not for a meal, but only wrap, and a drink. Went inside to speak with a manager, and Chloe(mananger) didn't see the problem, that hear staff was giving wrong information for costumers. Wery poorly handled situation, no apologies or anything like that!!!

Never been in a so dirty McDonald’s store. All tables was dirty, totem without papel for receipt and no table service available, snail pace to have the food done.

Always enjoy a trip to Mcdonalds....always great....

I stopped here for lunch on a weekday during the summer holidays. It was like a nursery with kids screeching while they played and parents not doing a thing about it. Very slow service

If you order apple pies, don't expect them to be fresh! All three were over an hour and a half old. The new ones seemed to be put in new covers.... but were barely hot.... was told by the manager they were new ones and would be hot inside. Not sure on that one as I would have expected if I waited 10 minutes for rest ones the outside of them should have been hot and not the excuse given "the cardboard cools them down"!

Make sure you check all your food is there,got home to discover my double quarter pounder missing,went back and told them,"sorry about that" Staff checking their socials and not customers orders 😐

Both mens bogs had no loo roll luckily the disabled was open. Car park easy to navigate however I'm sure must get busy due to small size. Annoying camera controlled.

I've been to this McDonald's dozens of times over a number of years and never really had any issues or felt compelled to write any review about my experiences. However, popped in tonight for 3 simple items and the service was atrocious. I pulled into a busy drive thru and after waiting 5-10 mins, no one was taking orders at the kiosks. Cars were backing out to go inside instead, me included. I ordered on the panels inside and received my order swiftly, however the mcflurry was melted and the "hot apple pie" was stone cold. I asked for a new one/reheat and the lady looked completely confused at the request, stood there for 5 minutes holding it until her colleague informed me that it would take 7 mins for a new one. I had to accept it and reheat at home (they reheat well in the microwave) The colleagues in there looked like personality drained zombies. If you can't meet a certain standard of customer service, even at an average level, you shouldn't be open. It's that simple. Terrible experience. Store staff need looking at and service assessed.

Ordered 2 quarter pounders with fries at the drive thu but only got one of each, had to drive back for rest of order.

We go for the triple cheese burger which is much cheaper than their Hatrick at the moment and less than £3. Their points system is quite generous as well. No table service today so dropped a star.

Had bacon & egg muffin, which was good.

I visited Riverside McDonald's, I placed my order but receipt was not working. Collected my order, fries were cold and not salted. These were replaced straight away no fuss. What got me that I tried to find a clean table. When I found one I moniterd if anyone would come out and clean the tables and chairs. I know we are encouraged to throw our own rubbish in the bins, which I do. There should be someone permanently front of house to maintain cleanliness. Poor show.

The food was hot, the chips were hot and the milkshake machine was working. It was a good visit.

Thought I'd try a mcdonalds, only to experience extremely poor service by the miserable young girl who couldn't care a toss. Ignored me when I wanted to ask a question. Don't put these sort of staff in a customer facing position if they hate their job that much. Who on earth manages this. Then, the poor quality food was shocking, absolutely awful. 14/06/2024, 20:24hrs, store 0660. NEVER AGAIN!

Absolutely a shambles, I'm not sure how these thieves even put their pants on in the morning. Mommy still do that for you too? Always wrong orders, like it's gospel you won't get your order in full. Don't waste time asking for a refund either. Troglodytes...

Waited over 20 mins for my table service , food arrived burgers were warm Fries almost cold ! £40+ of poor food and service, the lady whom I asked where my food was , she was uninterested I showed her they numbers had gone was past mine and they were serving in the 20s my was 12 nothing was diffrent standard items double quarters, mccrispy, quarter pounders , nuggets no special orders the old way of cooking and serving was so much better food was actually hot, you'd be better off probing your food to see how Luke warm it is lucky if it hit the 30° mark I'm sure.

Supposedly open 24 hours a day, you can order in the app, but when you arrive at 2 a.m. everything is closed! The drive thru is lined with cones, the doors are locked and only one person in the kitchen pretends to be doing anything. After approaching the window to pick up the food I ordered via the app, I am only told that they do not accept orders and that he should not open the window or talk to me at all. I understand that breaks are needed for cleaning, etc., but they could have informed about this in advance, especially in the app before ordering food.

A great place to eat and hand out with friends. Inside is neat and many places to sit at. Plenty of kiosk machines no need to wait most of the time. To the counter staffs can be nicer

McDonald’s is now an expensive place to eat but with terrible standards. They get 3/5 orders wrong. Serve cold food or soggy fries , falsely advertise the standard of their food and never refund for their bad service. If you took into account the amount McDonald’s actually get wrong on a daily basis they would owe millions in compensation for wasting peoples time, poor service and or providing something inaccurate or that does not meet expectations. nobody does anything because they’re hungry tomorrow and it’s convenient. I honestly see it as a borderline criminal organisation.

Prices are starting to get silly for a basic burger

Worse customer service in Northampton. Went through the drive thru today and not for the first time my order was wrong, they either forget your fries, apple pie or double quarter pounder with cheese when you ask for a single (too much meat) so on a point of principle (as I hate complaining) I decided to go back as they forgot my hash brown. Firstly the female manager more or less accused me of lying apparently you can’t get to town and back in 12 minutes, ( it take about 4 minutes down the dual carriageway to get to town ) then apparently couldn’t give me an extra hash brown for the inconvenience for the order they got wrong as they can’t just give out hash brown for their mistake, I should have just called instead and they would give me my missing hash brown on my next order, great! Last time I will be going to this McDonald’s, I’m done.

Average McDonald's food. Filled a hole for a group of hungry teenagers. The manager was quite rude to the staff, though & loudly talking down to the younger members of staff... whatever makes you feel better, i suppose!

Why have two drive though order points when any queues and delays are always ....ALWAYS!... at the food collection window?! It's like the ratio of hand dryers to sinks in a public toilet - totally inversed! McDonalds needd to pay for a proper time & motion study on their drive-throughs because their own team isn't worth their salaries

Really poor drive through service. There seems to be either a lack of training the staff, or a lack of monitoring their performance, as most of them either have really poor customer service skills or are completely unable to put the right food in a bag. This is definitely one to double, triple check what is in your bag before you drive away. Once you get to your food, it’s generally burnt, poorly put together or missing chunks of the bun, patty etc. Will be using Tim Hortons in future as its next door!!

Pretty standard McDonald, nothing stands out but nothings that bad.

Food was okay. The fries were not hot and crispy.

Reasonable amount of parking disabled parking available but no child bays continuing with the external areas there where rubbish bins available and the area directly surrounding was clean and no rubbish further afield from this establishment, internal there toilets available which are not of great size but still space to move, but they are clean and small fresh. There iPads for the kids to use while waiting for their meals and the table service was adequate the wait time was not extensive even though it was lunch time at a weekend

Worst McDonald's in the UK, not even aloud bbq sauce with my 20 nuggets expected to pay 20p per dip and the food is cold

Burger was fine but fries were stale, maybe old oil but they were awful. Sugar doughnut had no sugar on it. Avoid this McDonald's they clearly can't be bothered

This place is always hit and miss. I've had cold food, wrong orders and missing items.

Poor service, went through drive through through was not asked if I want any sauce at first counter...got to second counter...told have to pay 10p but only had card. I said I've never had to pay at any macds before. So James went to pass me a ketchup and said "here just have it" then all of a sudden took it back and said no I'm not giving it you n shut window. So had to go in and speak to manager. Poor service should ask if you want any sauce at first counter.. its a drive through to save the.... not for me to park up and walk in or I would of done that I'm the first place! Also James you need to smile more lad... and don't be so grumpy or your not in the right job.

Ordered 20 nuggets with 4 dips only to find out that all dips out of stock except BBQ which is not my favourite.

Simply put the food here is disgusting as McD’s go, my double sausage egg McMuffin was absolutely dripping oil where they hadn’t bothered to strain it, not too big of an issue but the burgers inside it had a thick coating of that black grime stuff that you get building up on grills if you don’t clean them regularly and it affected the taste, I actually managed to scrape like a cubic cm worth just from the bit hanging over the edge of my burger! Someone needs to get health & safety round here for a flash visit and get these guys to buck their ideas up. At the end of the day it can only possibly be the managers fault, you either run a tight ship or you don’t! And this ship is just floating aimlessly in choppy waters.

Used the drive-through Fri 01 Dec 1400ish. Worst drive-through experience & service I've ever had. Coming in, both lanes were open, I went into No.2. 2 suddenly stopped moving for over 10 minutes, while 1 moved fairly fast. There was no notice of an issue or closure & several cars including myself were stuck as couldn't reverse back out due to the traffic flowing into lane 1. As said, it was standstill for 10min until we were able to reverse out & into the other lane. Despite queries there was no apology or explanation. The service received when paying & then collecting was actually awful, a complete lack of character or even acknowledgement. It would have been quicker going up the road to the Weston Favell branch, but I'd be loathe to visit McDonald's again.

Bad service I got a what do you want bruv from a day shift member bad mouldy brown spot on triple cheese burger and my wife threw up pink meat absolutely awful they don’t realise some people go there for quick lunch because they hungry maybe they didn’t eat all day it’s unacceptable they need to sort themselves out especially night shift. Would give 0 stars avoid at all costs

Not 24hours. Says outside 24hours. Went at 2355 and doors were shut and drive through coned off. There were staff inside but clearly wasn't open to customers.

Only go because I am with my grandson. The restaurant smells of fat and the food is pulp.

Ordered via the app for table service. After waiting an age, I approached the counter whereupon my enquiry was greeted with "oh yeah" and I received a cold coffee and a cold meal.

Place was clean, there were available seats for 8 people, and tablets were working for kids to play. Staff was very kind and welcoming.

Poor customer service!, while waiting for my food yesterday, the ticket number disappeared off the board, so I ask a worker about my order of 2 happy meals that I was already waiting ages for, the young boy working was very rude to me, had a bad attitude, and basically didn't care. The staff should not be rude to customers especially when I was polite asking about my order. Seems like the younger staff need more customer service training on how to treat people.

We did visit at a very busy time, the tables were not the cleanest I’ve seen and both ourselves and another lady had to return to the counter as items were missing from the order. I did forget to make mine a large meal as we’d ordered at the counter and not the self serve machine. It was a shame the person taking my order never asked what size. The food tasted as expected, the queue never really died down, you feel the premises are too small to cope with the footfall.

Stopped to pick up something quick to eat after a very long journey. Well quick it was not. Well put together food it was not. Normally this franchise is okay so hoping this is a McBlip.

Decided to treat the kids before they go back to school tomorrow and after getting all the way home (15 mins approx) we found that the little ones cheeseburger happy meal was defiantly not that! he literally just had cold fries. Decided not to drive all the way back as our food would have been cold aswell.

Ordered from here multiple times. They forget sauces which we paid for, and forget straws for our drinks. The food is ALWAYS stone cold. The large fries are never even 1/2 way filled - horrendous for moneys worth. Dont bother ordering from here

Manager actually kept a straight face telling me chicken nuggets were halal, how did he even come to that?! The manager! When pressed for certificate or any evidence, wanders around the back of kitchen and comes back saying he hasn't got any, but they are halal! The manager! Lost for words, McDonald's need to read and act on this!

Absolutely rubbish, que taking forever and not even right order!

Took 20 mins to get my order but when I finally got it the food was hot, well made and fresh. Added extras to all the burgers and all were correctly done.

As good as McDonald's can get, it was clean and tidy and we got served very fast.

Nice an convenient, next to A45 close to the entrance of Riverside Retail Park, average McDonald's restaurant. Most of the times I order through the app and that gives me some reward points which I then use to order other products. Last time I wanted to order here they had no ice-cream, which was one of the reasons I wanted to order, so I had to go somewhere else. Rarely had any issues with the order.

Thought I'd grab a large meal on the way home after a long drive. Got home and discovered that my "large" fries would look better in a happy meal. Absolutely disgusting with how little fries there is.

Found at the entrance of the retail park. The drive through was rammed with people queueing all the way through the car park on a week day. I decided to order inside which took 15 minutes. Food was OK, although the bun was a little over done. The parking outside is atrocious, with very few spaces and the parking spaces themselves are quite small in width. If you wish to have your car wacked like I did, park in the spaces. But unless you have a toy car, a skate board or a small fiat, I'd take your chances and wait in the drive through..... Parking available at the retail area , but its a small walk.

If you want to be spoken to like they are doing you a favour then give these guys a visit, Luke warm pale floppy chips, a burger that looks like it's been dropped from a height into its box and 0 customer service. Better off visiting one of the other establishments in the area

It seems every McDonald's serves luke warm food. We had 3 meals the best part of £20 and the cheek now to say you have to pay for sauces. Paper thin burgers, the Choc milk shake I had, was just vanilla.I asked if it had run out, and I told me that's how it comes. Absolutely not value for money.

Ordered a fish finger happy meal for my daughter through the drive through. I wish I had taken pictures of the fish fingers before they went in the bin because I’m not joking when I say I probably could have injured someone if I threw one at them. They were rock hard and all dry in the middle, clearly overcooked or sat too long. Absolutely not something you would serve to anyone let alone a child. It’s a shame when things like this are supposed to be a treat.. but turned out to be something even a dog wouldn’t eat! I could slightly understand sub par quality if they were busy (still not acceptable for a hat you pay but slightly understandable at least) but the drive through was completely clear and only a few cars in the car park. Would recommend Weston favell over this one any day

Thank you to the manager 🤮of this place she was very kind🤬 instead to help because they make mistake they give us incomplete happy meal for kids when i approach to them to ask about missing items she ask one of her employers (what she want ) .

Have delivered to car by a member of staff that was very jolly. Was offered if I needed sugar they would get it, but dod not need it. Food was to the standard expected. Car park clean bins not overflowing. Could do with better and more clear collection zones.

It's OK. Not bad not good. Food is 5/10 here, never had hot food and never been presented well but it's better than Wellingborough town McDonald's so there's a plus. Just go Tim Hortons next door, more pricey but worth it

Parking is a little awkward as car park is tight and one way, people leaving block those coming in. Was clean and bright inside, and not too busy on Saturday afternoon. I saw one customer get asked to leave after complaining but didn't think about it until later. Two of the six ordering screens were broken but Service time for 5 of us was quite quick anyway. Prices had crept up compared to the Kettering one the week before. Food was okay but one of the McPlants was totally deconstructed in the box and nearly cold and one box of fries tasted burnt. Just wondering if they found the burger knocked off the preparation area ! ( I know someone who works for McD) The receipt asked for direct feedback on their 'foodforthoughts' website but when I tried it said they didn't want any feedback! It's not one of the best franchises.

I’ve been here quite a few times now and it’s definitely the nicest McDonald’s I’ve used in a long time. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The store is always clean especially the toilets.
