Service always fast. Very busy at lunch. Refurbished recently, more spacious than previously and there's 4 POS terminals and 2 tills instead of 2 POS terminals and 1 till. Staff quick to sort problems out but you need to get their attention. Prices the same as everywhere. Ice cream usually available.

It's closed for refurbishment! Try Church Street, near the Argos, in the meantime.

Theres so many this wrong with that awful place. 1. The ordering machine was broken and nobody told us and we had to warn others in line. Both of the machines refused to print a receipt and i looked over the reviews and this machine was still broken 11 months ago! The staff attitude was atrocious after the manager left for break, they sat around for a while before slowly doing their work. I waited for the food for ages and the staff member who gave me my food was so rude. The chicken in my familys wrap was cold and raw and there was no bacon as well the staff refused to give us a salad dressing. The salad also had only 1 slice of tomato and cucumber. My chips were cold because they had left out so long. The man who made my latte put it on the floor and i never recieved it and i only remembered when i was getting into my car. The staff acts like they rather be anywhere else and honestly could work harder. This is the worst fadt food place I've ever been in my whole life. I will be getting the Mcdonalds bect to this 1. No wonder they have more customers. Have a good day , by that i mean you choke on my caramel latte you didnt give.

Very Rude Staff with bad attitudes!! Visited this store and found the staff to be very rude. I asked a question and the manager snapped at me for no reason. The staff are not accommodating, they did not even want to give any dips. The food was cold and the burger was dry with hardly any sauce init. All the staff look and act as if they do not want to be there. I would NEVER visit this branch of McDonald’s ever again!! Very bad representation!! I did not manage to to get rude managers name but he is the man in the picture.

Trying to save people travelling ages to get this - this store let’s just assume any weekday so (Monday -Friday morning) - it says 24 hours it’s not don’t listen to the reviews - I think it’s 24 hours Saturday (so Friday night) + Sunday (Saturday morning) - apart from that do not go - when it is open food. Is fine though

I've always enjoyed my visits to McDonald's in Wellesley Road, Croydon, but the downside is the two machines aren't working meaning the receipts haven't been printed out unfortunately.

They constantly mess up my burgers - once I did not have cheese in my cheeseburger, today they forgot to put the patty in both of my brugers. Never setting my foot there again.

I have been asked to pay 50p for sweet curry sauce, when I had the same order yesterday, served by same manager sweet curry was for free... what a moody and sauce stingy manager!

Cashier taking order and taking on the phone at the same time and when being challenged for doing that calls me stupid, take aerbuds out out and stop talking while taking order !!! Disgrace to Croydon!!!! And when given order out he gave wrong order out !!! Stop smoking what you shouldn't at work!!!!

Lots of youths lingering around and some people decide to be in their phone constantly walking backwards and forward around the collection area making the whole experience tiresome and awkward, even though there is limited space. Do some people not have a common sense cell in their head?

Two order points - one of which wasn't working properly. Ordered a bespoke quarter pounder which arrived as standard (with everything in, which wasn't as ordered).

Very quick service friendly staff good value for money

Machines don’t print a receipt for your orders, staff don’t do anything when this is brought to their attention. Half the time the food is cold. I ordered the 20 chicken nuggets and half of them were sitting in the box getting cold before they added the rest 10 minutes later. No customer service at all in this location so don’t expect any.

The food was hot and nice. The service was quick. But there was nowhere to sit down.

Terrible customer service and if you are ever ordering food double check your bag because they are illiterate and can't read their order screens and you will always have food missing! You've been warned.

They touch the buns and prepare the food with BARE HANDS! I find it disgusting and unhygienic, especially after being very sick as a result of dining a the other branch lately. Invest in gloves McDonald's! However, there is a positive; I am now more motivated to stop eating fast foods at all.

A very small takeaway only branch with no seating. It is good when it is quiet. However, can be easily overrun and difficult to use when it is busy. Staff were friendly and helpful, and food was of good quality.

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The manager berated the staff in front of customers, whilst not doing anything but hold a clip board. She was very rude. The other staff seem overworked and stressed to be in her presence. They didn't include any of the sauces I requested either.

I just ordered two breakfast meal, and the food was soo bad. The bread is dried and very hard, was very difficult to eat. Am definitely not buying from there again

Travelled two hours in 28 degree heat to get to east Croydon on my period and with diarrhoea. Ordered a crispy chicken wrap with no sauce (allergies). Then continue travelling for another twenty minutes. Just got home and they’ve given me a grilled chicken wrap covered in sauce and now I can’t have lunch and I’m literally in tears this is the worst ending to an already bad day.

Always a great place to go to fill anyone's hungry tummy. I will never get tired of recommending this restaurant to my friends. That's how much I love their food & service!! McDonald's - Thank you!

I really suspect their management has instructed their staff to consistently only fill your drinks to 3/4 full! This happens to me every time I buy my breakfast (I only buy breakfast at this McDonald's). I used to add 30p for a large hot chocolate but every time I got just 3/4 or less full, making it a regular-sized hot chocolate! So I now only choose regular size for my breakfast meal and guess what? I now get a small size because it's again only 3/4 or less full! And today will be the last straw because they didn't put any bacon in my sandwich and their sandwich tasted stale! Their kiosks have not been printing receipts for many months and no one cares to fix them!

It’s your usual McDonalds with the main downside being the fries that me and my boyfriend got were fairly cold, and had definitely been sitting there for a while, not fresh at all. Same goes for the nuggets. They were hot, which was good, but were hard. Having worked in a kitchen myself, they had definitely been sitting directly underneath a heat lamp, keeping them very hot, but also hardening the outside of them. We both had milkshakes, and as usual, they were delicious. The service was good, very friendly and polite. They were obviously stressed out but I don’t blame them. Someone 10 orders ahead of us failed to get their order after their number being called at least 6 times. Overall I’d recommend it only at quiet times. Be advised there is no seating area if you plan to visit here.

manager was far too busy asking what random boys who came into the store wanted (that they didnt pay for) to serve us paying customers, had one person front running with a pending screen on front. my order managed to get up to 600 seconds whilst the manager was preparing free burgers and fries for these random boys. then she tried giving me my order without the dips i had ordered specifically, then when i asked she didn’t say a word and just threw them aggressively in my bag. i work for another mcdonalds store and i am absolutely appalled at the managers attitude tonight

Sorry to say that it represents the idea that people have of Croydon: messy, scary, with weirdos going in and out. Service was nice though: well done guys

Sadly a poor serving for the third time this year, This was the best Macdonalds in croydon and is managing to be worse than the old Church street one. extremely long queues, poor food quality and regularly lukewarm chips. Place is also regularly quite dirty and always has quite a few delivery drivers making waiting much longer. One to now avoid. Went by last week and seems to have got worse not better.

I ordered the breakfast menu from my application on my phone and within 5 minutes they called my order number. The food and the coffee tasted good. There was always someone doing the cleaning around the restaurant and the washroom area was clean.

Absolutely filthy. On top of that served cold food, received half a box of cold food. Spoke to management who refused to assist as she was too busy drinking her milkshake. Never again!

Neither of the self-order terminals were working properly. A worker there just shrugged when I informed him. The girl behind the counter was delightful and was extremely helpful in sorting my order through my app. Quite a sad little MaccyDs but food was fresh and tasty.

They never have sanitizer or wipes for hands, and also don’t give a receipt on self-checkout. Staffs is hate everything around and everyone.

I understand that the self-service machine is not working.( No paper to print the receipt) Ok Why do you pretend you give me option to choose if I want a receipt, or to continue without ?

A young Lady served me this morning and took long with my order because she was having a conversation with her colleague and gave me the wrong order.

Very fast service with friendly staff. No seating area available and none really locally. Food was warm and as expected from McDonald's. Great for an emergency stop but don't loiter. There's something unpleasant about all of the signs about face coverings and trouble. I guess the Croydon curse.

I ordered 2 mayo chickens , 2 cheese burgers, 1 mcflurry and med fries but i did not receive my med fries and im not gonna go back for chips but you should take care when your placing the orders in the bag my 1.50 wasted….

I ordered my food at 1:04 and stood there waiting for it for a whole hour as staff were too busy seeing to deliveroo knowing that food will be cold by the time it gets there there are customers directly waiting for food and paying for it why are they not priority over someone sitting at home awaiting cold food total rubbish I was on verge of requesting a refund but I just got off a flight and was super hungry

It doesn't have parking space as it is located in the center and requires you to pay for parking.

We have ordered from this branch for pick up around 10x times in the past 6 months and EVERY SINGLE TIME the order given to us has been wrong. Multiple times no chips, wrong wraps, wrong drinks. Checking the order is in store is a must and often times very stressful as the worker is already looking away not responding to you. I’ve had to come back a few times from actually making it over to the house to find things being wrong or missing. We only ever get McDonalds if extremely tired or just need a quick fast food so imagine how annoying it is having to go back. Not to talk of my McFlurry being a slushie by the time of pick-up. Really really bad branch. Food used to be of good standard, now you receive a luke warm barely filled wraps, stale fries and floppy burgers. Better walking to Whitgift if you can.

It's McDonald's so get what you expect

Had a reward for a double cheeseburger, decided to add bacon and lettuce for 60p. Bacon was cold, burgers were lukewarm. Replacement burger, had to have the bacon pointed out to me to find it, patties were also lukewarm. Manager said the burgers aren’t meant to be hot, colleague told me they don’t heat the bacon up. For 60p I gave up in the end, but at what risk? I’m still alive but somebody might get seriously sick. What a joke 5th Jan 2023. New year same MCDs. The review above was the same. Ordered 2 burgers from the East Croydon branch today. While the store manager is busy handling my food, she is chewing gum with her mouth wide open! What if the gum fell inside someone’s fries or burger?! How are the staff even allowed to chew gum while dealing with food?! Then my burger was not placed inside the box properly, so she hits the box sideways upside down on the counter roughly to shift the burger back inside the box. By the time I received my burger, all the toppings were falling out and it was all lopsided and falling apart. The lettuce inside the burger was old, floppy and brown. The fries were still raw and tasted like old oil with absolutely no salt added onto them and they were freezing cold. Disgusting service given - by the store manager, no less! I won’t be coming back to this branch again. I’d rather walk further down and visit the branch inside Whitgift.

Manager handled cash then went and handled food without washing hands. Then staff lied and said he didn’t handle the cash. Lies I watched him

Only 2 kiosks present to order from and its quite a busy location...at lunch time sometimes the queue is out the door Down the street...its a small space yes but feel a few more kiosks somehow would make it more efficient

Every order placed at this branch has been wrong whether it be in person or for delivery absolutely useless

It is quite big, however it is takeout only, They could fit quite a few tables in there.

Can't beat double egg mcmuffin breakfast

As usual McDonald's is my grandson's favourite i have always loved McDonald's apple pie and the caramel frappe my grandson loves the milkshakes in fact every thing is his favourite

I ordered mc chicken sandwich with ice cream and a milkshake and received a double quarter cheeseburger and coke that was spilling out of the cup and the bag torn when I received it with stale cold chips I am soo angry right now

Slow and no straw for my drink when I asked for one she kissed her teeth at me and did reluctantly give me a straw waited 9 minutes for food

We don't really eat this unhealthy food! And it had been 6 months since we had stepped foot in one... but we did go in and bought a portion of chips for the children...

My order was half of it was wrong and was not made right and the drinks were wrong but could not go back and change it it is to far from my home so I was not happy at all

Decent place here. I came here a few times and most of the time all was good, maybe one of the times there was a long wait but that's a nitpick.

Very slow service disappointing for fast food place as staff just walks around slowly, food hardly warm, not fresh, random closing times - if you eat right there right now should be ok, but 5 min later its cold. As there's no option to sit and eat.. I live 5 min walking from the place, when I receive my order I sprint home to eat and food is hardly warm if not cold and I put it in my bag as well to keep it warm as much as possible and not carrying in my hand. I know its McDonalds but food should still be hot or warm.

What's to say..its just quick take away food to fill you up for a bit. Thankfully you can still order at the counter. I dont like using those screens

How can it take in excess of 10mins to get a poorly made strawberry lemonade? Oh I know, because the one taking the orders and payment has to serve everyone behind you before making the drink which instead of giving it directly to you puts it on a counter for someone else to give it to you. First and most definitely last time I will be going in there, life is too short.

Best place to get your McDonald if you really want it quick and not waiting for too long...food is delicious
