McDonald's in Bolton

People work on the night shift need more training on how to cook and not to send food out that themselves wouldnt eat, sending greasy food out to the point the bun is falling apart along with the box. Fries are either half cooked or over cooked. Shift runner needs to realise food shop be prepared when the delivery driver arrives in the restaurant not when they get the order. Definitely won't be ordering from this place anymore.

Terrible. Awful staff. Poor service. Order was slow, wrong and cold. Rude staff. Under filled milkshake. Overflowing bins. What an awful place! Unpleasant experience on the whole to say the least.

Slow, cold food and recently gotten so expensive I have decided to not use McDonald's again. Can get far better quality and size meals elsewhere for a lot less. Typical greedy conglomerate who will shoot themselves in the foot eventually with their greeed. People are getting wise and turning their backs on these companies and their tactics.

absolute joke ordered food through uber eats.. first off my mozzarella sticks were missing but sent the dip for them, thanks..then eating the big tasty realised it wasn’t a smoky flavoured sauce as described but big mac sauce?!

Teach your staff the proper way of not making food until the driver is in the restaurant. Absolutely sick of freezing cold food from this place past time i order. Night staff can not cook properly.

I’m utterly shocked at the mess and how disgusting downstairs seating was full of food and not cleaned at all looks like not been cleaned all day trays of old food sat on the hun bin looks like it’s not been emptied absolutely disgusting

Last couple of times have been very disappointing. Upstairs there are always gangs of youths who hang around unchallenged by staff. 2 boys were smoking while staff on their break ignored them. Last time youths were kicking a football around. It's like the staff have given up. Gang of lads vaping in the toilet. Today there was at least 15 youths with no food all sat at tables.

Waited 25 minutes for breakfast finally give in when I spoke to the manger Kate who was ignorant and wasn’t even bothered when I asked for my money back.

Absolutely useless service both in restaurant, on drive thru and all delivery options, the mcdelivery being the worst, but that aside every time I order from here there is at least two items missing from my order and to be honest its quite unacceptable, its like the staff don't even care about their job, super greasy food, just lobbed in the bag, not great at all.

Thats what i opened when i got work. Someone thought i would be funny to take a bite of my burger. Fuming isnt the word. Never done one of these before but this had to be shown

This should be renamed Drive thro park and wait and wait. No matter what yo order you will be invited to park up . I have tried lots of combinations or orders but you always end up waiting. Appalling customer service. Needs someone to come in and sort it out.

Ordered just a standard burger and fries at drive thru and was asked to park at the front. Waited for a while until I received my order, they apologised for the wait but not a great drive thru experience as my food was cold and fries carton wasn’t full. Just drove off as I couldn’t be bothered going back in to complain as already wasted my time and money. Never returning again.

As with other posts, I received a parking fine through the post. The parking company are a disgrace, claiming to have sent me two letters and the only one received was for £170!

Never again would I visit, chicken fillet burger and halomi fries cold and dried up, totally unedible 🤮

Awful. Always forget to send items and couldn't be any less bothered when told them. Food is always cold and thrown together in a box. The chicken wrap was also missing yhe chicken, again couldn't be ant less bothered.

This has probably one of the worst McDonald’s I’ve been to. I had a code on my phone but they wouldn’t accept it at the drive thru, so I had to go in store. Whilst I was in store for 20 minutes for a triple cheese burger, my wife with my kid witnessed 4 drug deals going down in the car park. You can dismiss this if you want , but my wife is highly trained in suspicious behaviour. But as usually the police weren’t interested as it meant they would have to do some work

Food shocking cold took it back and waited for fresh food but yet again the same. Definitely gone down hill not been the same taste and quality since they have changed the way they they assemble the orders. Cooking and storing the meats in holding trays does not work cold and rubbery meats is not good. Think mc donalds has Definitely gone down hill

The wife wasn’t pleased when she found a hair in her meal. Will not be returning anytime soon. I complained but received little to no help.

I don’t know what it is about this particular McDonalds but they make the best breakfast McMuffins and hash browns. They’re pretty much spot on every time whereas in other stores it can be really variable.

Just be aware that when using the drive through there is a high chance to be asked to drive to the waiting area, rather than collecting your order at the drive through hatch.

quite typical of the McDonald brand ,.. been to one .. been to them all , the floor in this one was surprisingly clean, and the tables were free of salt and crumbs, so no need for complaints there ,.. the food was delivered in the same manner, same speed, everyone seemed to be doing something, not like some stores where the staff seem to congregate around the back of the burger station chatting ...

Called into mcdonalds at teatime do around 4.30pm not too busy but heaving with teenagers no trouble got served very quickly thanks to self ordering machine staff are always polite and friendly and the resturant was clean and tidy .

This is typical of the mcdonalds eating establishments and great to go with kids as they want to eat yesterday as it were. It's in a good place near to Asda and the cinema and you get what you pay for.

Just had a classic signature burger, very very nice, try one you will not be disappointed, good parking facilities and plenty of seats upstairs

I ordered a plain big mac with fries from the friendly staff who were very professional compared to my past experiences at different establishments. I got what I requested for and it was all nice and hot as it's suppose to be, even the fries were hot and crispy. I sat down and the tables and chairs were clean and tidy, which was also great as in the past I've had to tidy stuff away myself to get a clean table.

This review is for McDonalds at Johnson Fold, Bolton.Used the new fandangled ordering system which means table service… However, it seemed to take ages for my order to arrive and when it did I was not brought napkins, a straw or offered any sauce! Now what is the point of that… I had to get up and get some.Saying this it is a clean place, and the lady who was cleaning seemed very cheerful and happy in her job saying hello to all the customers and goodbye.Food was good, although fries were a little overcooked and seemed too crisp!

I know it's fast food, but if you open a business, regardless of what type, you should do it right. I didn't expect the food to be great, but customer service at least, should be. Poor service, long wait and horrible manager :(

Very much improved since the refit earlier this year. I find this place fairly easy to get to and its quiet during the day when I just want a coffee or something. It always has friendly staff and is clean and tidy.

Este Mc Donalds es siempre bastante concurrido, pero con la introducción del nuevo post pidiendo el tiempo de espera y mejorar. Los alrededores están siempre limpias, y el personal está bien entrenado y eficiente

Not a regular partaker of MacDonalds but there are times when it is just what you want. Tonight heading home after early evening event in Manchester the vagaries of public transport meant I was walking home. Heaven forbid anyone should be away from home after 8:00 on a Sunday evening and expect a regular bus service - but that is a gripe for another forum. In need of some sustenance I knew I'd be passing this MacDonalds. I'm not going to go overboard about fast food but this restaurant was clean, service friendly and efficient. The quarter pounder and fries was hot and tasty - just what I wanted. It's been a while since I last visited but the coffee on offer is excellent. Much better than I recall. My visit to this MacDonalds was very pleasant and met my expectations. Full marks to the staff.

What have they done. Used to love eating here before going to pictures. Went on Saturday 16th July, absolute carnage. Don't think the staff have got to grips with the new system. Waited a life time for our order, staff were like wet lettuces, fast food joint does not enter their vocabulary. When finally eaten our food and went to car park it was rammed with cars waiting for their food. Won't be going again. Get some staff that understand the meaning of a fast food joint.

McDonalds, Waters Meeting, Bolton Nice clean and modern environment. Benefits from recent refurb. iPads available for children. Fantastic customer service, the little boy in our party dropped his food, when I went to purchase a new meal to replace it, the manager advised the girl on the till to give it me free of charge. Considering only reopened today it still looks as it is in need of a good refurbishment and a total clean still got sticky hand rails,floor tiles need ripping up they look disgusting need to come into 21 century .The staff still the same old under trained incompetent young people not their fault. Managements responsibility,most staff running about like headless chickens,as I entered I noticed that a young child had spilt a drink and some chips after waiting for my order some 15 mins later and 4 members of staff taking orders upstairs the mess was still there at the entrance not good not a pleasant site

China gardens McDonald's... As we entered the premises there was a strong smell of weed and it stunk! But a member of staff smelt it too and swiftly moved them on, very well dealt with! It was cold and the music didn't help either! Rap would be a more appropriate choice for the position of the restaurant and the culture around it... Will be trying different from now on

The atmosphere is almost as cold as the temperature and there is a distinct smell of illegal substances! Usually and excellent trip with excellent service but slightly off peak today! Hopefully better next time!

Pretty fast service, Love the coffee, also had hamburger, sausage and egg McMuffin yum yum. worth a try especially now the monopoly game is running, win yourself something else.
