McDonald's in Luton

Ordered a double cheese burger with no pickle onion and mustard and a 6 mcnugget meal all the food came cold and my burger had onions in it and had some green patches on the patty only good thing about my meal is that i got two drinks. Unbelievable this restaurant is a joke

food was absolutely shocking!!!! we ordered a few meals and the fries came half empty, the burger had a huge bite taken from it, I ordered a wrap and the chicken was raw still!! is Mcdonalds trying to kill me???!!!

good morning, yesterday I was at luton george street mc donalds, after placing the order, I waited 15 minutes until I got a double cheeseburger and 2 wraps, and then the manager in glasses, at the end of her shift, approached the employee at about 7 p.m. and told her to take the receipts out of the waste bin. In order to leave positive opinions after work, I do not recommend this place

I travelled 13miles today 28/7/23 to treat my kids with a mc donalds breakfast. Ordered two double breakfast meals at 7:05 (wasn't busy). I arrived home and no hash browns! I called the store 3 times but no answer and it was not busy? I travelled all the way back and told the lady at the first window my order was wrong and I would like a refund. A young man came to the window (assuming he was a manager?) informed him of my situation repeated I would like a refund, he asked me to drive to second window. The same guy that served my food earlier that morning just took my food and gave me another bag? I replied that I didn't request more food I requested a refund. The young manager came to the window and said yes how can I help like he didn't remember 2 seconds ago our conversation?? He asked me to park up and come in for a refund. I did as asked to then be asked AGAIN what is the problem? My order was not correct and I've travelled all the way back from my home and I would like a refund.... To then be told I cannot give you a refund as our systems are down, come back later! I've given you the correct food now, I said this food is now cold so why would I want it...he replied I remade your food (he clearly didn't as I watched him) and this bag is hot how can you not feel this? The food was not HOT!!! As you can imagine I was not happy now as no food, wasted petrol, no refund and a very very rude manager that clearly didn't think his restaurant was to blame. This young guy was very rude and said if you keep being sh@#ty with me I wont give you a refund. I replied excuse me? You will refund me as it is your restaurant that has made the mistake and not packed the food I have paid for and I have now had to travel all the way back. His words were come back later help yourself and just ask for a manager. I asked for a name and he said anyone. I asked him "I'm sure you wouldn't be happy if you were in my shoes?" his reply was I offered you food and you didn't want it... I asked him would he honour just one breakfast for my child for the whole inconvenience and he said no I can give you a fresh breakfast now but that means I will only refund you one breakfast when you return. Eventually after reminding him again that your restaurant has made this mistake not me and I will not be returning as this is not the first time, he reluctantly gave me one breakfast and just put it on the counter with no sorry or have a good day! I am so upset as I have used this restaurant for many years and have always had friendly staff and yes when they have made a mistake they have rectified it straight away in a very friendly manner....not like today!!

Luton marsh road one of the worst McDonald's but closest to home , always forget things , staff are very slow , never anything in stock , milkshake machine never working

Ate here yesterday, this was the only thing my wife and I ate the same on the day . Today we both wake up with upset tummies!!!

Someone left their excrement in my burger.I hate to review negative. But if there is modern slavery exists, working in MacDonald is one of them. Their customers service is horrible and bunch of useless assistance manage who have no manners at all. Junk food must be avoided from UK before entire nation became obese.

I think the food is pretty great in general, yeah sure i mean its a fast food restaurant, but it does the job right really, the chips are great, the milkshakes and frappes they do are pretty exellent, price-wise im not too bothered about it, i think most of it is reasonable.. I wouldn't say the food is filling per say, cuz like after an hour ill be hungry again, but its a nice treat... and there isn't really any complaints from me.

Ordered 2 Big Tasty Meals with milkshakes and 1 McFlurry at drive in. The milkshake machine had just broken down and so them and the McFlurry weren’t available. We changed the order to 2 Big Tasty’s, medium fries and large fries.Drove the 5 minutes back home. All of the food was freezing cold and the large fries were no different from the medium.This was the first McDonalds we’d had for at least 9 months and was totally disappointing.

Grand Big Mac bacon received instead of grand Big Mac normal ! Fries cold and oily! Cheeseburger cold and dry ! There is always an issue with this restaurant in Luton town ! Never again ! And the order was checked ? Hope you kidding !! No customer service, they don’t care about the customer !

No toilet open for customers. Pathetic especiially during covid don’t you think? How do customers care about higiene?

We are so disappointed with our experience. Half of our food was missing from our order. Including my very upset daughters happy meal, her drink and fruit bag arrived but no actual meal or toy. The I called McDonalds so many times and when the manager answered she asked me for my order number and went through what was missing and then turns out she really was not that helpful at all because she kept me on the phone for almost 10 minutes to say that she couldn’t help me!! The food that we had really wasn’t that enjoyable either. I understand that in these times the staff are probably under a lot of stress and finding new processes difficult but missing so many items from our food just seems ridiculous. The chips and burger from a Big Mac meal, a side and the happy meal!! What an awful service we received. So disappointed

Went into this McDonald’s today for lunch with my fiancé, we rarely get to go to town as we have an autistic child but we were child free and made a visit into town. We got into the McDonald’s and went to the counter where we were served by a young lady called Agnieszka and on her badge it said something like customer care expert, I placed my partners order first which was a large Big Mac meal with a sprite/7up and a side order of melted cheese bites and then I placed my order of a large Big Mac meal with a strawberry milkshake, the young lady stopped and then just said “one minute” then she ran out back to speak to somebody, she then came back but went to another till and said something to us about it being a problem with the milkshake and then continued tapping away at the other till, she then kept us there for almost 10 minutes one only looking up once to say sorry, this is not customer care let alone her being an expert, to just keep us standing there without explaining the problem was just plain rude, in the end we walked off and got a Burger King instead, as we left I looked in the window and Agnieszka hadn’t even looked up from the till and noticed we had left. Poor poor poor customer service, if I could give this place minus stars I would have, we will not be back

Nice burger served in a nice bun and at a sensible price - and all done very quickly and oh joy ... a tasteful cup of coffee as well

Went in for lattes an drinks warm and not full cups for what you pay for allso begging from people out side the shop asking for money and begging inside going through store bins getting not a nice place to eat and drink staff need to get a grip if it wants to keep it's costumers coming back.

Estándar abierto a todas horas, pero inmediatamente frente Leagrave McDonalds Estación muy práctico si quieres comprar algo. Aparcamiento es minúsculo y a veces la cola para conducir a través de sale completamente en la rotonda y aparcamiento manzanas más arriba. Salida desde el aparcamiento también es una pesadilla y a la derecha en una rotonda muy transitada. Comida estándar mcdonalds, el servicio es bueno, pero a veces hay retrasos inesperados.

This is a review for mcdonalds near hatters way. Usually mcdonalds staff are friendly and attentive but the girl today at the drive thru was more interested in chatting with her friends. The food was ok though

It's a new MC, its ok for a typical MC, clean and well designed drive thru. Staff was ok, but it is not any different than a just MC.

Could this be the worst McDonald's I've ever been in? Oh yes it could...extremely slow, staff standing around looking miserable, handling food like it's dangerous, food always cold and for the fries...half empty box you get !

We hadden weinig tijd en daarom is McDo een prima oplossing. Altijd goede kwaliteit en nieuwe acties. We kozen voor een nieuwe burger met veel glans en die smaakte prima.

Always heaving, service as fast as it can be, almost always somewhere to sit either upstairs or down, fully functioning machines.

I'm not a fan by far but my kids love it and McDonalds can surely sell to kids. Kids that can't even read or write knows McDonalds; it's that golden "M" logo.Anyway; as a drive through they must be the worst ever. Last 5 drive through visits they have either got something wrong or left something out or both. They should get a Gold Medal for getting the orders wrong. I only tolerate this to keep my kids happy otherwise I would not visit McDonalds.

Its not going to be fine dining, lets face it its macdonalds its junk food. Nothing wrong with that, you purchase food from there fully aware of what you are getting.My issue is the food should be hot, of reasonable quality & your order should be accurate. You failed on all three counts & appeared not in the slightest bit bothered when challenged. Maybe a one-off but I suspect not judging by the other reviews.Save your money & your waistline & dine elsewhere.

Nothing wrong with food, but only 1 straw given for 2 milkshakes. If you have ever tried drinking an extra thick McDonald's milkshake with no straw, you will understand dilemma.

food here is never ready when you order & I have lost track of the number of times they have asked me to park in grill order bay then ALWAYS forget to bring foodthe last time, they hadn't even cooked itwont go back any more, why on earth is there only 1 small McDonalds drive thru in Luton

On 30th March having ordered on Monday 28th for 17 persons with a Learning Disability for lunch at it was my sisters Birthday and returning to her group found meals short by 5 persons, to have to go elsewhere letter sent to Head Office and they came back with a £5 voucher which I returned and came back with £10 voucher which I passed on to the Centre. It was not the money I was after but to advise that more care and customer services training needs to be given. An insult of compensation and I will not be visiting again after having spent nearly £40 for a complete disaster. Susan Browne

What more could you expect from McDonald's. It's nothing glamorous.ot is what it is and o think they do it perfectly here.

Two large meals purchased at the drive thru .. Get home to find the boxes of chips not even half full! Paid extra.. Got less!! Not happy at all!!

My wife and son and I visited here yesterday and not the best McDonald's we've visited pretty average in fact seemed like the Cheesburgers had been out a while

Went here for lunch expecting a long wait as it was summer holidays but was served very quick staff very pleasant

We were in a bit of a rush so his was the best place for fast food, at least you can rely on the standard of food. Venue was all in all ok, fairly average.

This McDonalds is in the Leagrave area of Luton, a couple of miles from junction 11 of the M1. It is situated on an old Public House site on a roundabout and has a drive through which is efficient enough although it is sometimes difficult to get out of the car park as the round/ roundabout the exit comes out into is very busy.The car park is too small but I imagine that most use the drive through due to its location.You have been to one McDonalds you have been to them all.

Food was hot and good but have to wait a while in drive through but was helped by a staff taking orders so not too bad and got order right as well

Was absolutely horrified by how a shift manager spoke to the cleaner tonight at leagrave McDonalds in marsh road! There was a lady that came in because she had been given the rong order and the lovely older cleaning lady assisted her as it was Fairly busy!! Then the shift manager (coloured lady) shouted at her and made her look so small saying don't ever do that again you have no right, the lovely lady was just helping out and did no deserve that at all!! she was nealy in tears she has worked there for 18years and this over lady has only been there weeks but she's has let power get to her head she should treat people with some respect that lady does not deserve a job she's so cewl!! I hope the lovely cleaner keeps the cheerful smile on her face and I wish her the very best and I really hope she doesn't let the cewl lady ruin the rest of her time at McDonald's!

The McDonald's in Leagrave is an absolute JOKE and is getting worse by the week. The drive through is extremely slow and even after queuing for ages (even when the place is visibly quiet) more times than not - requested to park in a bay where the prolonged wait for food continues!!! On occasion when have gone in to the restaurant to avoid the drive through the staff are rude and more interested in conversation with each other than the customers. There have also been many times I have waited ages for my food and when it has been delivered to me - the order is wrong.

What do I say, it's McDonalds, our local one, only a few minutes away from home so I can buy food and it's still warm by the time I'm home.They always have new ice cream varieties and the kids love; I do too :-)Drive-through sometimes gets too busy but the queue moves fast and the staff are quite organised and normally send one or two people out with their tablets to help the queue move faster.Sometimes, under pressure, they forget stuff like dippings...etc so make sure you check your order.Staff have always been polite and responding to customer complaints, if any. We've only complained once during the ten years we lived in Luton and things were put right with no fuss, so thumbs up.

Only reviewing this mc d's cod it's the closest and can get the food home still warm. Thank you Ronald!

Grand -daughter will not let us pass any Mc Donalds without stopping so habve to plan some journys our we just donot get there

Just the standard McDonalds.... Nothing to dislike or fault if your a fan of McDonald meals...Nice and clean and friendly service. Great the credit card machine does contactless payment... must be the only place in town to do that

there a 2 mcdonalds which serve luton been there numerous times and overall have no complaints.1 suggestion is that mcdonalds used to make pizza back in the mid 90s and it was the best pizza ever please please bring it back

Not all the staff are bad but some of them got bad attitudes, ask some India staff to speak slowly and don't blame customers about the way they listen customers they might not hear what you are sayings cuz it too fast!!!!Be more service mind or retrain them!! About service mind
