McDonald's in Central Bedfordshire

Rubbish, ordered through Deliveroo and the fries were missing. The only option available was a refund for the missing fries……very disappointed children!

Some little idiot tried convincing me the toasted marshmallow latte didn't come with the breakfast. Then after telling him how to do his job. He charged me for the toasted marshmallow latte and gave me a standard one. This was at 6:55 am Wednesday morning. I am infuriated. How thick does someone need to be to work there??? Worst service I've ever received from a fast food chain. Next time I'll go Greggs, rather than being disrespected like that.

I literally only ordered 2 burgers and 1 large fries. When I stopped to eat...I'd been given 1 burger and 2 large fries 🙄 How can they get something that simple wrong? Dread to think how they cope with larger orders!

A late visit at 10pm on the way home, ordered using in house tablet. Everything is fine at this point, with our number coming up saying preparing, it eventually moved to collect. This is where it went wrong. We had to wait even longer. What is the point in saying collect when it wasn't even ready ?? This isn't the first time it has happened. This is supposed to be a fast food establishment.

Dropped to the wrong address and then refused refund. Unacceptable. Refusing £18 refund when you make billions every year from loyal customers like myself. Unacceptable

I know it's McDonald's I'm not expecting a 5 star meal, but when you order a large meal and the fries don't even make a medium, and are stone cold it's not great, the Mc rib I had had loads of sauce but hardly any onion or pickles. Then the drive through was slow. Overall just a bad place to grab a quick bite to eat.

None of the ordering display machines ever give receipts been like this for a good yea r and half when questioned about this on a number of times useless BS from management once aponatime stuff. The funniest was McDonald's has a problem with the paper they have/ use that's why it's not working arrrrrrrrrrr my sides ..Ground staff good as gold though

Yet again arrived home with an incomplete order on 17/10/24. Guess they neglected to give us the other bag. Tried to ring several times but no one answered. Order number 84

drive thru orders are ALWAYS wrong , and guess what, always in a favour of the restaurant. Im always missing a cheeseburger or fires or something else. Today i was amazed that my order is OK , but at home, i discovered that they have put 4 nuggets in a box where was supposed to be 6. So traditionally i have paid for something i didn't get. This was the last time, as i have enough of cutting me short on my money.

Used the drive thru. Two lanes. For some reason, the other lane was served, and I had to wait in my car for quite a while. There were two other cars served before someone finally decided to serve me. Was about to reverse and leave, but then there was finally a voice in the box. Just a tiny bit disappointed.

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo McFlurrys no stars from me. You know you’re really craving some ice cream, you have had a hot sweaty night and you need some ice cream to cool you down. You go to the drive through, you order McFlurrys two but no you hear sorry no McFlurrys. Your heart sinks, is life worth living anymore?

Worst service ever, waited from 2245, these 2 girls finished their shift at 2200 and went outside. They came back, one of them is called Chanel, they went and said that their 'dad' is outside and he's just placed an order...they got their food instantly. Me and some other customers complained and the manager said they didn't have food. After 25min I finally got my food and all they said is they are short staffed.

In the short time and distance walking from the restaurant to the car park, my fries were cold, double cheeseburger was cold and the mozzarella dippers were cold. I feel for the 15+ McDelivery orders sat on the shelf waiting for drivers. Those things will be freezing.

*Update 27sep2024 ordered a milkshake which was very good and a iced latte which had expired milk in it!! Ordered today and was disappointed as they missed not 1 but 3 items from my order& found out at home(order nr.91). They are usually busy and occasional mistakes are reasonable however it's a few times now missing items from my orders already.

Service at the pick up area inside was poor. Screen said order was ready to pick up, but nobody serving in fact ignored by manager and other staff. Had to be loud to attract the managers attention. Then she got it wrong twice.

They refused to serve me at the till when I told them I struggle using the machines from my autism and they were really impatient and rude towards me who just wanted a small fries and a med coke (-friend)

Came at midnight when advertised its 24hrs no sign outside saying its closed or anything. Saw some people inside eating so assumed door wasn’t working and it slid open when pushing the first door, placed the order then the female manager says the restaurant is closed and then making constant sly comments and digs, saying “I’ve got to do it all again now” staff laughing in the kitchen and she’s telling them it’s not funny, such an embarrassing experience.

I've never been there! Shows how stupid and misleading GOOGLE and FACEBOOK can be.

I always use this restaurant as it is convenient and cheap, very much like ashbrook fencing who installed a new fence and gate for us and did a fantastic job. Da da da da daaa I'm loving it.

Went Saturday night around 2300hrs, drive through very busy but moved quickly. Staff very good and friendly 👌 I don't eat McDonald's but was for the others and they enjoyed it.

I’m afraid to say but the service was terrible, ordered a delivery & left out two burgers, my children were so upset & went to the drive through to sort out getting the misplaced burgers & staff were rude also the manager, didn’t get a resolution 😡😡I will not recommend this McDonald to family & friends.. it was staff a the restaurant that messed up trying to get a least a refund 😡😡

Drive Thru : very slow moving queue, caused by the card machines not working and staff not knowing how to fix it. Couldn’t even pay for my coffee - waste of time.

Not open 24 hours. Called in about 12:15am, on 28/9, but door was locked and drivethru lanes coned off.

This restaurant is supposed to be 24 hours but was closed when l went early hours no sign on the door or anything very poor customer service

Absolutely useless, they didn’t even have any fizzy drinks or milkshakes, I’d rather eat wood shavings than eat from here.

It's a McDonald's. All pretty much the same. No problems or complaints. As always, check your order if using drive thru before leaving! Edit: Had a recent issue with a member of staff having zero understanding about an issue with the app and treating me like an idiot. Down rated. I have had positive customer service response after complaining online to them but it doesn't change the staff members attitude and my feelings about it. I will be avoiding this McDonald's for the foreseeable future after being a weekly customer for a year or more

Food: Well fries still not freshly cooked, other food such as burgers are good. Staff: Staff from the counter is friendly and accommodating. And I highly appreciated the hard work of Michel for maintaining the cleanliness in the dining and the way she clean & organise things in the dining are sparkling clean as you can see in the photo and having good smell, she's 100% asset of your branch. In some other branch you can smell the floor after cleaning is having stinky odor.

My local, it’s pretty awful. First time we got delivery after moving to the area, Big Mac was missing and everything else was cold. Tracked and the driver had come straight from the restaurant so it must have been cold on collection. Ordered via the McDonald’s app which is outsourced to Uber Eats. They would only refund 1/3 of the meal price for the missing burger, which is about half the cost of replacing it. Another time we ordered a delivery and got someone else’s special order burger - husband is allergic to onions so couldn’t eat it. Called up and was refused a refund even though the sticker clearly had a different order number on it. Now I refuse to get delivery anymore. Multiple times have sat at the drive through for an eternity despite little or no queue. Rude staff at the window. Last visit got 2 iced coffees, one had loads missing. I could go on all day.

I've ordered from this restaurant 3 separate time and every time they miss out burgers from my order! I have tried to call them multiple times and had no response. When calling customer service they didn't give me a full refund for my order and didn't even offer to deliver my missing item at all! Not happy, won't be using this restaurant ever again!

Very bad experience. Halfway through the muffin, found egg shells in it. Spoke to the manager Steven. He said he cannot do anything as it was half eaten. How can I find the egg shells before I chew into it?.

Time says it’s open 24h however many times you come overnight and it is closed. The hours should be updated.

Last few visits had good service and plenty of stock. Several previous visits in 2023 had seen very slow service (up to 20 minutes), products unavailable and cold food Hopefully this is now past.

Ordered via Uber Eats. Order was delivered on time but some items were missing, despite being paid for. The driver kept the paper bags with food on the car's backseat, did not have a thermal bag to keep food warm. All the burgers and fries were cold and soggy. Very disappointing.

The slowest service you are likely to receive in the UK from a McDonald's !! They never use the waiting bays at the drive through to keep the queue moving. If you decide to go in to order then you are made to wait until they have dealt with the drive through first. It has steadily got worse over the last few years. As I type this there is a guy shouting at the staff to give him his coffee !

Food is amazing specially newly launched ice frappe it's delicious. I loved it

1. It's not the first time when I have to wait nearly 15 minutes to get a coffee. There was nobody else in front of me in the queue. 2. The coffee tastes awful, and it doesn't match to any other coffee from different McD in my area. Not recommend this place

By far the worst mcdonalds I have ever been to. Their inability to provide what is ordered holds no bounds. In my last 4 visits they have managed to mess up my order every single time. The screen says no pickles, the sticker says no pickles yet low and behold it full of pickles. Asked for plain still full of mustard and onions. I don't expect much from these mcretards but come on how hard is it to follow simple instructions.

I gave 5 stars because of the memories. the service was slow, more than ten hamburgers, two servings of fries, two glasses of drink, we did not receive the extra request, the fee was deducted. our ID number has disappeared from the display, but the food has not yet been delivered. the fast and precise service characteristic of the supermarket chain is now just a memory. that's why I didn't give a star for a separate question, we've been going to restaurants for more than 40 years, even in the FL region, it was a great experience. hence the basic 5 stars because of the memories.

Disrespectful manager at the store, accused us of trying not to pay. We went through the drive through to get a McFlurry, got to the payment window, sitting there with Apple Pay open waiting to pay. The guy in the window tells us to go to the next window, my husband says confused, “next window?” And waited a few more seconds before moving on. We got the second window, again, waiting with Apple Pay open. The lady says “two mcflurries?”, to which my husband says “yes, but we haven’t paid”. The guy at the first window runs round and says “They haven’t paid!”. So the manager walks over and we explain that we were told to go to the next window”, to which he replies “yeh right!” Implying we had lied. We tried to explain again and he then told impatiently that we could give him our phone to pay with or drive round. I never leave reviews, but being accused of trying not to pay (stealing) by the manager made me fuming. A manager should know better, how immature and disrespectful. McDonald’s policy for complaints is to call the store manager, but clearly he’s not mature enough to handle these situations.

A easily reachable drive thru restaurent. It offer both eat in, take out, or drive thru options for food orders. The menu carrys the usual favourites as well as new additions.

Old, cold and dry fries, ordered to the table - no way, they are to lazy to bring food to you. Lazy staff on night shift. Always you have to nake sure that you receive ordered dips.

Sadly no improvement at this location. The wait is so long the food has become cold. Managers need to reduce staff talk and arguing and focus on the customers who pay their salary. Long wait and not even busy at 8am on a Saturday! !!

Not impressed with service, every time I visit there is something missing in order. Been charged twice on few occasions and managers didn't bother to resolve the issue, had to contact McDonald's head office to get refund.

Probably the worst McD's I have ever been to. 1130 at night, ordered at the drive thru then waited for 15 minutes while no-one moved. The first window was locked. Queued some more. Finally got to the kiosk to be handed someone else's order and to be told I needed to drive round and wait again cos they only take payment at the locked window. Or I could give them my card for them to take away. I gave up. What a waste of time. Drive thru is supposed to be quick and efficient. Not here.

Better atmosphere than most with good seating. Ordering on machines or via one counter, it feels a bit cramped in the ordering / waiting area when busy but they are restricted by size of building. Efficient, good quality food, nice people. table ordering is available and works well. Drive thru - often very busy, but moves well most of the time. Never had problems with the order. Delivery - better than most, occasionally wrong but not as bad as others. Car park - insane. It's tight and not big enough spaces or lanes for today's larger cars. People don't pay attention. So many collisions and near misses. You will see at least one every visit. Bidirectional lanes on both sides, stupidly tight corners, mountainous speed humps and the drive thru make it a challenging place to visit.

Me and my girlfriend visited mcdonalds in dunstable recently. My girlfriend ordered our food through the app. First off there were no sugar donuts and hasn't been for sometime but for me that wasn't a problem as these things happen and I'm sure they had their reasons. Then when our food was brought out to us it was the wrong order but this was dealt with quickly and corrected. Again these things happen in life. I still absolutely loved my visit to this branch of mcdonalds and I always have and always will and for me they will always get 5 out of 5 from me. Such a lovely place to eat and very lovely friendly and helpful staff too. Also very clean and tidy restaurant and very clean toilets. This branch of mcdonalds was perfect in every way and I really am so looking forward to my next visit.

You have to be careful not to miss the entrance, there are always a lot of people.

I ordered 3 meals, 2 x burgers & 2 apple pies. I checked the bag whilst at the counter and there was only 1 fries. I told the server and he added the other 2. I thought the 2 apple pies were in the bag, but we got home and no apple pies. Very disappointing. We paid for the food and didn’t receive what we ordered. Very bad service. The staff need to double check the orders before handing it to the client.

I came in late after 2 am from work looking for a small meal. i was approached by what looked like a manager and he asked to wait one minute. this was horrifying!!!!! i was scared he was very big but i got my food and it tasted lile cardboard. i asked for no cheese in my cheeseburger and they still gave cheese. i am not happy

McDonald's and crackheads food / entertainment

A little bit disappointed with the Dunstable branch I had ordered my food in the restaurant but by the time I had walked back to my car the McCrispy was warmish and way too much Lettuce and some of the chips were not cooked properly

Mc Donald’s need to learn how to practice proper hygiene and cook their chicken properly I got a stomach bug from what I ate from md it was the last thing I woke in the middle of the night with terrible pains and constantly vomiting. Start wearing gloves and washing your hand to prevent food contamination.

McDonald's was very busy when I visited, so we had a 15 minute wait for the food to be cooked, even then the food was luke warm when it arrived. The staff were polite and friendly. Today we tried the new chicken and bacon burger which was delicious, it's just a shame the fries were cold but at least they weren't shy when it came to our Mcflurries , which makes a change, you usually only get half a Mcflurry. The only real problem with Dunstable McDonald's is the layby where you are supposed to wait for your order, there is only room for 2 vehicles, any more than this and you block the exit, bringing the drive thru to a stand still, which in turn causes chaos and arguments. Top tip, always check the Mcbroken website before you leave home, especially if you want a Mcflurry as the website shows you all the McDonald's in your area that have a working Mcflurry machine, there is nothing worse than getting there to find out the machine is broken:)

Unbelievable! Tonight I got 2 happy meals for my children , they were looking forward to their toy which should have been shrek and instead ….. they got a Christmas Paddington toy!!! Christmas in March?! Obviously the Mc used the old stuff they got left. Really disappointing.

The delivery was great and the food was still warm, but the quality of the food was not great. Additionally, one medium fries was missing and I received the crispy version of The BBQ & Bacon Chicken One instead of the grilled one. This is not the first time that parts of my order have been missing, which is very disappointing.
