Mcdonald's in Central Bedfordshire

I have tried to call in twice in the past couple of weeks, just after 10 pm. On both occasions they have been closed, despite a sign clearly saying they are open till 11. We tried to attract the attention of a staff member inside but were completely ignored. Avoid this branch, there are others not far away in Leighton Buzzard and on the A5 just outside Milton Keynes. Last time I managed to get served there they gave me the wrong order, so yet another black mark.

Quick dinner out, turned up to order food via the big screens and very frustrating when there is no paper for a receipt, various other people inside so unsure of order number. One bin on the floor and it was overflowing. My two daughters took some colouring pages only to find no crayons. Spoke to the manager and he said he would go and find some but came back within a few minutes and said “no sorry can’t find any” Not impressed.

Had breakfast yesterday morning felt it for the rest of the day , had severe food poisoning , continuous throwing up and body aches and pains all day , had to go doctors was that bad , told me was food poisoning , glad feel better today

This is the crapest MacDonalds ever, never gets an order right, they don't even know what they've served you. Totally and utterly useless, who would have thought that working in MacDonalds was a challenge! Its even worse than the one in Leighton Buzzard and that's saying something. Avoid if poss, difficult I know given their locations but that's how they get you and rip you off.

awful to the young people who work there, don't provide support and also that I know of have recently sacked 3 young staff, why have they not provided support to the young people in their first jobs and extra training rather than just sack them??? this reflects very badly on Mc Donalds who usually give a great support to young workers.

I order through the drive-thru, was told the payment didn't go through, they charged my debit card and both went through - called to get a refund on one of the payments and they're putting obstacles in the way ! Avoid this branch!

Shocking, fast food that’s joke, after queuing to get in which I expect then told wait in bay 1 and 20 min later still waiting, this is a regular thing here. Worst mc d ever

HAD GOOD EXPERIENCE with the wife and kids and food hot, and quick. I just hope the staff member that slipped on the wet floor is ok as i witnessed her fall and it was quite a bang. I do not think the floors should be mopped so close to the servery when staff are still having to access the floor when delivering. They did have wet floor signs up but i felt inappropriately near the servery. I hope the manager sent her home afterwards but i got the impression she was more interested with the food being on the floor.

I went here to do work call, I purchased drink and breakfast and then later another round of drinks. Got an email today to say I have a parking ticket for staying 112 minutes. Don’t get caught out like me, spend your money somewhere else, never been given a parking ticket for being a paying customer in a McDonald’s before. Staff were also rude, didn’t want to take my food order, didn’t want to serve milk with a cup of tea. Food was cold, staff stood around whilst customers waiting for their orders. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Apparently there are very prominent parking notices (plural), I didn’t see any when I parked in a marked parking bay!!!!

Took 30 minutes through drive through, yet again they had run out of milk shake and food barley warm disgusting place that doesn't provide the service that it should . from payment to receiving food is about 2 minutes how the hell can it be barely warm and the chips I just threw away,jokers

I was being given my food my an extremely rude young girl. She rolled her eyes at me and gave multiple horrid looks and served me with a poor attitude. The food was okay, slightly cold.

One of the ladies working behind the counter, Cariss I believe was doing her best to intimidate a younger staff member, probably making her feel 2ft tall, getting in her face and what I would call being a bully. Not somewhere you want to go to eat when you see how the young staff are being treated.

This is positively the worst experience ever. No toilets working. Very rude and extremely Scruffy manageress . No staff to take orders just ordered to use machine.... rubbish totaly different experience 2 miles back towards mk on the same road.

Worse ever service! AVOID! Ordered 4 meals for 4 people, asked for sauces. "Manager" Jack refused to provide at least 1 sauce per meal. As he stated: "Due to sauce shortage we can provide only 2 sauces for 4 meals". Really?? Has he not confused it with petrol or diesel? Or covid-friendly sauce sharing is a trend at this place? Moreover, 3 sets of fries were missing to our 4 meals. Avoid this place. P.S while we had our limited meals on parking, we saw dozens of rats hanging around. Pest control essential to this place. Never come back again, not drive through, drive pass please.

Observed the manager Jack treating one of the staff members unfairly; speaking to him with attitude and in an unkind manner.

Been here a few times and never been displeased. Food always hot. Chips always well cooked and crispy. Best Maccy Ds around.

Like most people, I've been to a few McDonald's over the years. Everything that could be wrong with this establishment was. Let's start with the ordering process. There was one person ahead of me but it took 25 minutes for them to prepare the food....

We had been out all day decided to have a treat of McDonald's, we used the drive thru, it was quick n food prep was good n fast too, the food was got n the order was accurate.

Not coping well with regulations for corona virus. No control of people as they entered causing jam at counter.some people turned away because they did not have a face covering while others were allowed in. Not the usual standard of food very disappointed.

Visited whilst passing through Leighton Buzzard. Good location with very minimum parking spaces available. Service was quick and the food quality was your usual maccys. Would likely visit again if I'm in the area.

Went to McDonald’s this morning for a sausage mcmuffin. Whilst I was waiting for my order I noticed a manager called I think Aran shouting at staff with no respect whilst standing with his hands in his pockets. I think he might need training in hospitality.

Manager was very helpful. As they had run out of the limited edition he arranged for bacon to be added to my quarter pounder. Yum.

Ok, I appreciate that Maccy D’s isn’t exactly renowned for it’s great service at the best of times, but the Hockliffe restaurant is just so far beyond awful I felt compelled to leave a review to warn others..!

I visited the drive thru on 17 August and by the time i got home (10 mins) Chicken and Bacon Wraps were cold. Phoned and complained and was offered a complimentary meal next time. I went in on 23 August to collect my complimentary meal but my complaint had not been recorded. However, the staff were very polite and I was given a complimentary meal to take away.

Visited this McDonalds at lunchtime this week and so wish we hadn’t.

Went for breakfast. Site is modern and clean. Parking plentiful at the rear. Staff were very pleasant, meal brought to the table fresh and hot. I'm too old fpr milkshakes (?) but they do a good milkshake.

Called in for a quick bite and used the drive through. Quick and friendly service . Food was ok, even though the Big Macs seem to be getting smaller.

This McDonald’s has been renovated with the usual screen ordering system and kids tablets. However the table service is still far too slow better to order takeaway then find a seat. Food also a bit cold after waiting and this seems to be similar to quite a few of this chain I have visited since renovations. Technology does not make for a better experience

Small McDonald’s between Milton Keynes and Dunstable on a5. Quite slow service and not many seats but handily located

Had breakfast, porridge was hot the service was good I ate it all like a good boy. Also tea was hot.

This McDonalds was closed for several weeks while refurbishment was taking place.It is now open for business again. The car park is larger and there are computer screens on one table for children. Most of the tables and chairs have been removed and now there are stools instead. Overall there is less indoor seating. There are two main areas now - one for ordering and the other is to collect when your number appears on a screen. One can also order at a booth. The drive through seems unchanged. The staff seemed very uncertain of the new procedures. Our food was hot but we were not impressed by the surroundings nor the service.

Average McDonalds, used the drive through, Reasonable service, food ok. Standard Big Mac meal and chips with a drink. Pretty much the same as most McDonalds around the country.

Staff friendly and efficient, tables clean, food quick and tasty. Staff pleasant and interacting with customers, which is not typical of my previous McDonalds experiences. Many thanks to the kind lady who gave my child a balloon, a little thing but it made him so happy. Thank you so much for your kindness.

limp cold fries, after waiting for a deluxe ! vegeburger to be cooked to order - it wasn't cooked, stone cold with a filling that defies description (leftovers?)had just returned from a long journey, didn't want to cook , just a snack needed, wasted my money on this rubbish. avoid this macdonalds, it is far below the standards of any others that I have visited.

The staff were all young school leaver looking people, not overly happy but still working hard nonetheless. This is the best McDonald's for hot chocolates - not overly watery, flavoursome and hot. The food is what you'd expect and hope from a McDonald's in terms of taste, quality and quantity. Food can sometimes be a bit lukewarm but asking staff to change it is no hassle (on the fore front anyway).Breakfasts are delicious, muffins are nice and moist and crumble easily. Burgers are tasty too. If you like McDonald's then it's a good one.

We were three hungry folk who had visited the nearby park and steam railway. The place was packed. We grabbed a table and a lass quickly cleaned same. The 8 year old got her choice immediately but we adults were advised to take our seats and the waitress would bring it over. Hot food, delivered with a smile and an apology for the short wait and change from a tenner. Toilet facilities were clean and tidy also. What more could you ask from a budget venue?

I avoid this place as the staff are so organized the wait for anything is sooo long and when you get the order it is not as hot as it should be and the chips are limp. This place could be a gold mine if the right staff were put in it!!!

The sausage mcmuffin was not fresh, just warm-with egg in it. then I ordered one without a egg and that was fresh, so my fiance had the one that had been sitting on shelf? Hash browns ok, and coffee was good.

Food and service is exactly what you will expect from your hundreds of Macdonalds trips already in life. Building is well situated with a simple drive through and plenty of parking.

i have used this Mcd's often, especially when my wife was in hospital for a fair time in 2014,i have found it always to be clean and the staff pleasant.the food has always been cooked well enough and i have not had one reason in many visits to complain..worth a visit if you are in this area..

Food is exactly what you expect from McDonald's. The staff are very friendly, it's always clean and it is unusual to have to wait to long. This is all based on my visits for a sausage and egg mcmuffin at about 8 o'clock on a weekday morning.

As far as McDonalds go it's pretty standard, visited after a wedding and we were starving at 2am. The chips were like cardboard but burgers were freshly cooked and we were grateful that the drive through was open 24/7
