McDonald's in Sheffield

Desperation burger, it had been clearly sat for some time. It was not in the bun correctly. The lady on the drive through was friendly though. Also the price has gone up too much

Had a couple of bad experiences here and once I ended up leaving after paying without my food as sat waiting at the drive thru for 25 mins

My order seemed to have been forgotten, despite the restaurant being almost empty that late at night, so I had to ask for it to be fulfilled. There were dirty tables and overflowing rubbish that added to the uncomfortable atmosphere.

If I ordered in the app, why would I be at the drive through?? it's McDonald's it's the same as any other McDonald's..

Chips under salted, had to wait 30 minutes though't it was meant to be fast food?

Typical McDonald's, clean, modern, friendly staff, would definitely go again.

Terrible, this and the Penistone Road shop clearly employ people who can’t read. Constantly get the wrong items, which suggests staff can’t read the labels and check contents of the bag against the order details. Really not that difficult. Also, don’t blame the uber driver like the manager at the Penistone Road shop. He didn’t pick up the filet of fish instead of a veggie deluxe, that was the staff member.

This. Burger has fallen on floor and been served to me. With dirt inside. Tomato sauce all over. There is no hygiene in this Mcdonaldas at all. Even Manager did not do nothing about it after drive 5miles back after going on a long drive to leeds. Had to come back. All she said do you want a refund and she was so angry at me. For what reason. Young lady manager worked around 17:25pm. On 9th october. Guys do not go there. Not safe for kids who ever is in kitchen. He is. Abusing the food.

I got absolutely nothing that I ordered completely wrong.

The delivery guy took the patience and time to find my ward and bring my order.

Didn’t get the right sauces. Food was cold, delivery driver was an imbecile, illiterate.

The time kept changing from when I ordered the food. and they never give the sauces when you order nuggets which is pointless. very disappointed the fries needed salt the only good thing was the big man and apple pie

Ordered at 6:15pm and then it just said “preparing your order” and gave me and estimated delivery time which then kept getting pushed back. So I called McDonald’s and was told that my the delivery driver will arrive in 3 minutes to pick it up 20 minutes later the time still didn’t change. Then delivery time then gets pushed back again and at this point it has been pushed back by 3 almost 4 hours and then it said that my order was delivered at 9:15 pm. I tried to cancel the order but couldn’t.

the first time I have ever been asked for the code. it's nice to know that some delivery guys can still do a thorough and professional job.

McDonald's at Meadowhall Retail Park - A Step Above! I recently ordered via the McDonald's app at the Meadowhall Retail Park location, and let me tell you, it was a smooth experience from start to finish. Ordering through the app was a breeze—quick, easy, and no waiting in line! Once I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-kept the place was. It's clear they take cleanliness seriously, which is always a good sign. The food was brought straight to my table by a super friendly staff member, which made the whole experience feel a little more like dining out rather than a quick fast-food stop. They were cheerful and polite, and even made sure everything was okay with my meal. As for the food itself, no complaints here! My fries were hot and crispy, the burger was fresh and neatly put together, and everything tasted exactly how you'd want from a classic McDonald's run. Overall, ordering through the app and getting table service was a winning combination. Great food, spotless surroundings, and friendly staff. A solid 4-star experience—I'll definitely be back!

We’ve given this McDonald’s numerous chances as it is closest to us. We always go late at night when it isn’t busy but we are constantly having to wait 20-30 minutes for food because the deliveries are prioritised. I asked what I assume was the manager how long our food will be and they couldn’t seem to care less and seemed rude and snotty when handing the food over. The food is also cold so it had clearly just been sitting while deliveries were being prioritised

Mr Mcdonalds this is the worst run mcdonald's going you might not realise but people waiting over 30mins for food because of short staff in the early hours of the morning ridiculous me as a courier am fed up of picking up from here as the staff mark the order is ready and we still waiting half an hour instead of ignoring a driver who just wants to make sure there is an order and doesn't waste all day in restaurant without reward last week i cancelled 3 hours of work as previous to that i left home in the early hours and my order was ready i said good morning got a reply saying the same back but turned back on me before i could ask them to pass me the order very unprofessional having drivers begging for the order that is probably already cold.

Had a long wait for simple items, cars that came after us were served with bigger orders than ours before us.

As an oldie, we very easily managed the self-service menu ordering system, even managed to deselect unwanted items.

The worst McDonald's I have been in, and I get about a lot. Sood waiting for 25mins for our order with at least 15 delivery drivers breathing down my neck, yelling and shouting for their orders, one even caught me in the face with his hand trying to show his order on his phone to the staff. The manager priorities Uber eats and alike, no one should be waiting 25 mins for McDonald's. Staff are incompetent, ordered an item with an ingredient taken off (due to allergies) half way through eating item I found the requested ingredient there fight in the middle, so dangerous!! Staff are fully there for the deliveries, they need a separate waiting area as it is uncomfortable with them all surrounding you and shouting orders

Queued at Drive Thru for over 30minutes at 11pm only to find the two burgers we ordered slapped together and an empty box of fries in the bag with the other being soggy and unseasoned

Attended this restaurant this morning, Sunday 8th September at 10:30am for breakfast with my daughter. After a short time from ordering our food I noticed my number appear on the screen to say it was ready for collection….but no one called my number. I then noticed many other numbers were being called after mine & it seemed that the main priority was being given to the Just Eat deliveries who were all coming & going. I asked a member of staff where my food was & she told me it wouldn’t be long now. Over 20 minutes past & my number disappeared from the screen so I spoke to the male manager to ask where my food was!!!! His customer service was disgusting…..no apology at all, he just told me they were waiting on the hash browns. I questioned if no one else was having hash browns & his response to me was to go & pick up a burnt hash brown & say to me “you can have this one if you want it” I went to sit down after this disgusting service & eventually my number was called. 25 minutes wait from the time on my receipt to receiving my food……..with not even an apology from any of the staff. I will not be going back to this McDonald’s as it is not the first time I’ve received bad service.

2x fries and 4x sauces that we paid for were missing. Not the first time this McDonalds has failed to include all items. Really frustrating.

Edit for September 2024. Last couple of visits have been extremely slow service even at not the busiest times. Delivery app drivers orders get priority. If you walk in, you're going to be behind Just eat and drive through. Even using the app I've found very, very slow. Shame, used to be a decent branch, but becoming a last resort now.

The burgers are so small now they might as well be childs portions, just not value for money anymore. The only filling burger you sell (the big tasty) is on for a few months a year and then disappears. While your competition is charging the same but giving a more substantial burger, with actual salad on it.

The food was just sat there nobody seemed to be actually serving. I didn't get my food until I complained to the desk and they finally brought it out and it'd been there for over 10 minutes. Ridiculously poor service.

why do McDonald's ask to pick a selection of sauces and forget them? every time!

No fries with my meal. No brownie. Instead given me cookies and a muffin? No one contacted me to ask about changing items. Food was cold cause driver went to Rotherham before delivering to me in Sheffield.

On Thursday 29th August went via the drive thru and Craig was serving at the time (around 3:30pm). Such a nice guy, asked how my day was and wished me luck on the job interview I’d been to beforehand. I got the job! Thanks again to Craig for brightening my day 😊

If I could give this place minus stars I would. (Mcdonald's cineworld). Took nearly 2 hours for delivery to be missing items and all the food we did receive was cold. Spent over 30 pound to receive cold food and missing items when trying to contact the restaurant they ignore the phone. Also before all of this we accidentally put our postcode wrong, we called the restaurant, they answer to say they don't have access to our address when it's on the recipet... absolute time wasters and can't be bothered to do their job correctly obviously 😡

Deliver was great. Patient driver as I am disabled. It's the ORDER that has items missing AGAIN! - NOT HAPPY, 2ND time in 10 days!!

After spending 30£ on food and drink night shift manager call Bash refused to give me coffee lids for my kids drink so they dont spill it on the way in the car. When I told him other day other staff had no problem start getting funny by questioning who and whats his name. Never had that issue across any MC Donalds restaurant

I’ve been here twice now and both times they’ve forgotten a lot of my food. As I’m ordering in the drive through I’m only realising when I’ve arrived home. If you want a drive through McDonalds, go elsewhere.

How does it take over half an hour to get an order of nuggets when there’s noone in here! This place prioritises delivery orders to a fault, takes forever to get any food, and when it does finally come, it’s always cold.

when your order comes in at 60 pound don't drive around Sheffield doing over delivery's and come to mine last everything stone cold drinks missing etc absolutely shocking

orderd double bacon bigmac meal, came with no bacon or fries, orderd garlic bites with dip and got no dip.

We were in Sheffield to watch a recording of the new series of gladiators. So got there really early to secure seats, and while waiting for the doors to open, we walked to this McDonald's for breakfast, and considering most of the people for the show had the same idea it was really busy but the service was really quick hats of to them.

Had to wait 2 hours then got food and it was cold also missed a part of my order🤦🏽‍♂️

We visited when we were seeing Gladiator's being filmed at the Utilita Stadium. They just couldn't handle large numbers of orders. Waiting up to 45 minutes for food, which was just warm. They were cancelling food delivery orders when the drivers were already there to collect. It shouldn't be a surprise to Management that they get more customers when they're a 5 minute walk from the stadium.

Clearly states 'round the back' for delivery. However the driver left it outside the front door. I've picked this up 5 minutes after getting the ' courier is close' message. Food is cold.

We were there super early Friday morning before the Gladiators show. The place was rammed but we managed to get a table outside. Everyone from the Gladiators queue had the same idea! I felt the staff dealt with the demand really well and remained friendly. There was nothing wrong on our order, which is unusual and the toilets were really clean and air conditioning was very welcome!

Why can’t any McDonalds put the dips in with Chicken Selects? This is the fifth time, across 3 online platforms and in store that this restaurant has failed to include an item that forms part of a meal I am paying for in the last 3 months. Consistently wrong across multiple platforms.

Shocking order. No straws for the milkshakes. Only 3 sauces sent. A cheese burger was missing. And to top.it off the fries were under cooked and not salted.

Did not get the free nuggets for ordering over £20. No straws and no dips for the mozzarella dips.

Had to wait 15 minutes for food, but other than that, no complaints staff did apologise for the wait. Also, the food was great 👍
