I recently ordered the Special Fried Rice and Singapore Fried Rice from this restaurant, and unfortunately, both dishes were very disappointing. The flavor just wasn't there, and it didn’t taste anything like authentic Chinese fried rice. Compared to other restaurants in the area, the quality and taste were way below average. While the portion sizes were okay, the taste was really lacking. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience.

Absolutely well prepared, fresh beef chow-mein and really nice crispy, thick prawn crackers. I ordered for the break during work and delivery driver arrived exactly at the time I requested and called my number when he was there. Extra mile appreciation with a tip. Reasonable delivery charge of £2,10. Overall I'll definitely order again!

Waited nearly 2 hours for delivery food freezing upon arrival phoned up to complain and asked for food to be redeliver only to be told no the driver would up the food bk up with a refund woman on phone very very rude won't be going again.

Great hot food and always freshly cooked. Good delivery service. Highly recommended.

Lovely food but disappointed with the vegetarian choice, instead of just having vegetables with something why not do tofu dishes.

I have a takeaway either delivered or collection around every 2 weeks. I've found the food to be delicious, like many Chinese Takeaways I think they do blanche the chips before hand but I've been very impressed, quick service, and delicious food. I've seen some reviews complaining about the front of house, which is to the point and courteous. I'd recommend, one of the best Takeaway I've visited in my lifetime.

Had a great takeaway from here on Saturday. There's a wide range of dishes to choose from. All our dishes were fabulous. Definitely worth a try. Word of advice, order inadvance as they are busy for a reason!

Decided to go back to these after the JustEat Chinese takeaways which had hardly any meat in them and disappointIng, however here at Ecclesfield Chinese the meat potions are generous, and on time for delivery much taster and hot so now it is our go to for Chinese, I would definitely recommend.

Speaking as a lover of chinese takeaways i can honestly say id rather cook myself then try this utter dribble again.

Ordered for a birthday meal tonight. Chips reheated and burnt Chicken balls reheated and burnt Curry sauce looked like something the cat threw up Rest of the meal tasted burnt. Will never return for another meal at this take away. Absolutely disgusting standard. Rang to complain and they are not interested. Avoid unless you like taking the risk of a dodgy stomach.

Only had onion rings and got 10 from freezer section of aldi I was expecting proper ones for £2.40 certainly would not recommend

I have been ordering from this establishment for years and was always gorgeous food and a speedy delivery. BUT today was terrible, the food cold - mushrooms seemed full of cold water when chewed and the chips where like they had been cooked over and over even though I ordered when they had first opened. I called to let then know my feedback and was given abuse over the phone "it can't be cold just cooked and delivery only 30 mins" but it was cold and I advised that I was calling to give feedback and not to argue and then got the reply " what do you want me to do?" I then advised that I had never heard/had such terrible customer service. Such a shame gonna miss my lovely monthly Chinese but never again.....

Late delivered by 30minutes Food has dropped in standards. At least 60% onions in all our dishes tasting very salty, will not be coming back in near future.

Was interested in ordering from this establishment as its local to me and the missis.Before doing so,I decided to read the reviews and its left me totally baffled,have a look and you will see what I mean.How can it be completeley fantastic in every way or a total nightmare of a takeaway?? I can only go with the decision of staying away as the haters at least said why it was a no no.Food stodgy,warmed up etc.I can only assume that the locals who say its brilliant simply don't know what a decent meal is and their fortnightly treat on giro day is their gastro treat every 2 weeks..nope,we shall stick to making it ourselves as no doubt it will be much tastier,not to mention less expensive.Jamie Oliver..plus many other decent chefs are trying to get us cooking but sadly,many people are just too lazy to do so,not to mention,don't have the confidence.Any money says that mine and our lasses is tons better...548 Wordsworth Avenue if ya dont believe us..ask fo Gary

Food is cooked too fast for it to be fresh! Rice is super stodgy! All the food is covered in MSG, very salty and gave me a massive headache the next day! The lady who works there is miserable!! Another s5 bad food experience

Food taste good never had a problem. Service is good behind the till delivery is quick all the hate on delivery times and how they spoken to is a load of lies food everyone has different food expectations but so far the best Chinese I’ve had.

Poor service, poor food. This is the worst take-away experience we've had. Rude to a point where we almost walked out, then the food tasted rancid and had to be thrown away. Not cheap either

Nice sized portions pity about the food. The rice came stodgy the chips were warmed up and hard the chicken balls were mostly batter and finally the chicken in sweet chili sauce didn't even taste like chicken. Won't be ordering from here again.

Would like to give 0 stars ordered at 6:45 still hadn't arrived 8 so rang up to be told would be 10 mins needless to say after 10 mins it didn't come it arrived at 8.30 and it was vile tasted crap I also rang 113 times and it just said line was busy so guessing they took the phone of the hook because they had messed that many orders up!!!!!
