McDonald's in Colchester

didn't come with straws and napkins and the coke taste flat

The chips were so cold but the burgers were so good

completely the wrong order good thing no one has food allergies

Past couple times have ordered from here its been spot on Ice in the drink fries actually large size dips when ask for them keep up the good work thank you!

the porridge was set like concrete and stone cold

I was discussed i ordered my mcdonalds at 5pm and it didn't get to me.till 20 past 6. not to mention it was stone cold. I was fuming I ordered early due to working that night and I missed out on my mcdonalds because it was over and hour late

Deliver driver was friendly and on time

Service is soooooo slow I swear they are also killing the cows. Some of the menu boards on the drive through don't work. Staff seem quite disinterested.

Genuinely the worst customer service experience I have had. I don't normally write reviews like this but something needed to be said. Ordered from deliveroo at roughly before 3am and it took over an hour before I had any kind of response. Our order had changed drivers multiple times to no avail and I tried calling the restaurant multiple times with no response. My guess is someone left the deliveroo machine on after close and it was still taking orders. Regardless this is not right and I had to spend 20 minutes talking to AI bots on deliveroo to get my money back.

When the food was ordered delivery time was 11:15 pm we received the order at 11:45 pm and food was missing we are missing a big Mac a double cheeseburger and 2 chips not happy at all as I’m no missing my food for my dinner after finish a 11 hour shift I would like something done and my money back

When my order arrived the pizza had either been dropped or put in upside down as the pizza was just a lump and the chips were cold garlic bread paper stuck to it so could eat it

Cant beat a sausage mc muffin yum

A perfectly situated McDonald's branch just alongside the A12 next to Colchester Park and Ride and close to Colchester United football club stadium. It has a small carpark and a drive-through. It's on 2 floors, so there is plenty of seating and also an outdoor playground for the little ones. Food is usually correct and freshly cooked. It can get rather busy at times, but that's not the restaurants fault. The menu is the same as all other branches and the staff are always polite and friendly. Highly recommended

I ordered the family sozd meal, only 2 burgers show up and no fries... dinner is cold too! This hasnt been the first time this happened and i am very unhappy and very annoyed as I how much money i spend just for 6 items...

Asked for extra pickles, got laughed at by the rude woman on the drive through speaker. Got served a burger with 2 pickles, cold so obviously wasn’t fresh. I had half burned chips and half uncooked chips.

Usual standard expected from a McDonald's. Wasn't keen that food was left on the pass waiting to be fulfilled and staff having a natter. Fortunately the food was still hot enough to enjoy.

Great start here. Strangely, the food seems better. We had breakfast McMuffins and they were fresher and better made than other outlets. Recommended.

Awesome, helpful staff, allowed me to use disabled toilet and helped me with the lift for the upper floor eating area. Great staff, great food.

My delivery was not delivered gave the delivery driver my code and the new address and then it didn’t get delivered to the new address then couldn’t get hold of the driver at all. Unbelievable. Not happy.

Honestly I’m really disappointed after 2 hours of waiting for food its cold and I asked for no relish sauce or cheese, relish all over it and you can see where they scraped off the cheese and considering it is round the corner shouldn’t be cold

It's McDonalds, so what can you say? The food is generally OK, the place is usually fairly clean and tidy, the service could be better at times (or at least friendlier) and the toilets... The toilets could definitely be much improved! We have used this branch quite a lot over the past few years as a stop over on our travels and the one consistent feature is the poor state of the toilets. We usually use this outlet either early ish morning (9:00) or early evening (20:00 - 21:00) and the toilets are always in need of a good cleaning or/and restocking of toilet roll, soap etc..

Couldn’t get my address right, rang the restaurant 4 times to enquire about my order, and no response. Spoke to a Just Eat employee who provided me with no helpful information. STILL waiting for my refund!!!! Will NOT use again!

Yet again. No dips. Everytime we order from here something is either wrong or missing. I do honestly wonder how some of the staff here manage to get up, dressed and find their way to work! Abysmal!

fries were rather cold which isn't good and chicken nuggets weren't warm but weren't cold. I've had much better from you in the past

Even though the food was delivered on time, the burger was cold. They also didn’t send the kids fruit bag.

Ordered for the first and last time, granted the food came quickly but it was cold. Coke tasted like fizzy water. I’d rather sniff a smelly fart from my wife then have to experience this again.

Slow service, even when it's empty, there too busy chatting and girls with long hair, it's always in a pony tail, but dangling, should be in a hair net.

I didn't get the fries I ordered

Usual standards, but the staff member went above and beyond. I dropped my entire full cup of coffee. A smiling worker came by and offered to tidy it up and also get me a new one. Superb service. Thank you.

We just used a toilet and no spent too much money here, but everything was clean and nice, no to busy. I was surprised no many food delivery drivers here, because they are example in London making horrible feeling in the restaurants.

Driver was really rude and only delivered half our order and was told to phone McDonald’s, phoned McDonald’s and have been told the right order was taken so they should still have our half order but been told it’s been delivered to someone else and McDonald’s said it’s on the drivers fault not them!!!!

No stars for service! The slowest fast food ever.... Cold food. A waste of my time wait for my order to receive cold food.

Only bought 1 burger, waited 20 minutes for it, and it looked like a monkey threw it together. Asked for a replacement, got grunted at with no apology. When I sat in my car to eat, there were rats running around everywhere. Just for clarity, this was Colchester services, near the football ground.

I got a fish fillet whilst I was working my first deliveroo shift. It was busy but the guy who was serving was a G, even though it was very busy. Still was polite and he gave me a massive fries. These guys are hardworking and some customers are rude for no reason. Well done guys.
