Great for a quick bite whilst travelling down the motorway

One of the Worse MD`s I've been to coffee was Shocking like Dish water. The burger 🍔 looked like someone had Stood on it & the Chips weren't even Warm .. so go there at your peril.

Burger was cold and barely cooked! Chips were no better - awful!

McDonald's was as good as ever nice coffee good burger Quick Service even though the services were very busy

Ordered on the app and then confirmed I had arrived. Walked in, went to toilet and washed my hands and waited at counter. After 2 mins, asked where my food was. Cocky guy in white shirt said I'd been too long and binned it. Then said they only hold for 5 mins🤣. Anyway said they would do fresh food. I then walked out with bag of burger and chips and coffee. Once on lorry, found chips hot😁, burger was cold and manhandled🤤 and coffee cold. It wasn't fresh at all! Not amused.

First time I've been to a McDonald's and the food was fresh and piping hot well done.

Burgers good, salad box very poor.

Order machine ran out of paper. They were busy with a busload of customers but did alright.

Just popped in service station not very tidy ok for quick bite

Always shut at least half an hour before the stated closing time. Not great for people relying on a quick bite on a long journey

It's a motorway maccy D. It's calories. Taunton services is pretty disgusting in general and MacDonalds is part of it.

Just a rest stop, alot of people ordering food. Took longer than expected just for 4 hot drinks. But service was pleasant and friendly.

I sat down to eat and was immediately descended upon by not one, but two cleaners, flicking up dust and banging their brushes against the dust pans as I'm trying to eat. Seriously, some common sense training is desperately needed with certain staff here! Wait until people have finished eating before attacking their personal space with cleaning equipment, yeah? ffs

Food was tepid. No sauce in the dispenser and the bins were overflowing. Tables and floor pretty grubby too...👎🏻

Stopped at the services for a break on the road trip, and got food for the kids, I say use the machines to order the food, great for the kids, wasn't to busy, tables was clean, when getting the food the staff was very Friendly, depending on what time you can get kids meals, that normally keeps the kids happy as they get a toy of some kind, quick and easy if you don't want to hang around to long

As good as about other McDonald's restaurants. Will visit again.

Always stop at McDonald's for breakfast when going on holiday.

A good place to swing by while on the way into Devon food was prompt and hot, which is always nice, but the fries also had just enough salt, which is rare as some stores skimp out on salting the fries.

Tables dirty, machines not printing receipts and staff just standing around chatting. It wasn't busy and yet they still didn't clean the few tables they had. The other tables for Costa and Fresh Food were closed off. The ketchup dispenser wasn't working but they did provide one for free, which I was glad about because the paper pots provided didn't look clean

Fast food, even faster coffee out the window, when will McDonald's learn to make coffee that doesn't taste like mud? Chips as per usual like cardboard unless you eat them fast, burger okay, I just want one that looks like the pictures, not difficult really. Shamefully the general state of service stations in this country, poor food and expensive.

Quick and easy food. We all enjoy. Service is average. Atmosphere? Depends which one, a lot of children hang around in McDonald's and cause disruption but I never eat in either takeaway or drive through!

Just popped in for a coffee stop. Easy to order on screens.loads of people waiting for their orders staff were messing around behind the counter, so orders were taking longer.

Extremely busy. Took over 5 minutes waiting to order and 25 minutes waiting for the food and drink.

Doesn't seem to be 24/7 rarely open at night.

standard mcdonalds with the added cost of being in a service station. Although the lady who was cleaning and maintaining our table area was lovely and very friendly towards my children.

This is probably one of the most depressing service stations on the M5.

No human interaction. Receipt printer is always out of paper, and nobody ever checks or replaces paper. If there was ANY alternative you wouldn't eat here.

Hankridge is a popular but small restaurant. Was clean inside. Food ordered using app and delivered to table, which was hot.

We stoped off at McDonalds at Taunton Dean motorway services ,spotless, toilets ect couldn't fault anything.

Standard McDonald's experience, not my fave service station on the M5 but better than others .

I never imagined I would rate a Mcdonalds with a 5 star, but it was outstanding service. Very fast, proving those slow ones are just not up to standard, because this was busy and yet food was super fast ( and my orders were cusstomised) There is a man there working on the floor, he was an older man and helping people...... he needs recognition. He was what customer service was once and should be again! Food was yummy, I'd complain about lack of salt on my chips, but because the service was so excellent and chips hot, it's a non-issue!

All the self service machines were not giving printed order numbers. Why does the machines not give the number on screen as well.

I ordered a large chocolate milkshake, it took quite a while to make but I was patient. I went up to collect my drink, walked back to my car and I saw that it was a strawberry milkshake.

Stale food, all barely warm & the tables were filthy. No one has cleaned here at all. Floors coverage in mess too. Almost didn't eat here due to health & hygiene issues.

This place was disgustingly dirty. Food, wrappers, chips, old serviettes. Every table had rubbish on it. The bins were overflowing, the floor was littered at every table. The sauce dispenser was clogged and there were no pots to put the sauce in anyway. The milkshake machine was broken, the hot chocolate machine was broken and there were 3 staff chatting and we were the only customers. Apparently one was the manager. I have photos and will be reporting it directly.

Not open at 11:30pm on a Thursday. McD own app claims it’s open 24/7

advertised as 24 hours however, when we showed up at ~1am with an app order (already paid for) they said they were closed and could not make the food

It's a mcdonalds. Luke warm food. Errors on the order machine. Rushed staff, but polite and helpful to resolve issues. Predictable quality. Wet and not cleaned well tables. Nice view of car park from the chairs. Awkward route forced through entire service station to reach mcdonalds. Relaxed mood. Order at table if preffered.

Dirtiest Macdonalds in all the UK.There were no customers when we came in but all the tables were so dirty we had to clean one before we sat there. A lot of rubbish and food leftovers on the floor all around the sitting area. The staff at the till and kitchen were just chatting and having fun and clearly haven't been to the sitting area all day. Looks like no-one cares about this place. Very sad and disappointed after this visit. I wish local manager read my review as there is clearly huge room for improvement on this site. Please respect your customers, please care of what you do.Would you like to eat with your family in a dirty place where no-one cares ? I hope not. Please respect your customers. Please.

Place very dirty, nit nice experience at all. No Ketchup or milkshakes. Stuff not really interested in cleaning, felt like they didn't know what they doing.
