McDonald's in West Berkshire

Food was great. Table service was a bit slow today.

The problem was the food was stone cold on arrival

For some reason when you order food in store it takes ages! for your food to get to you but if you go drive through it doesn't take as long. But they will ask you to park up and wait every time!

Waited too long… the kids were starving

Ordered a bacon roll meal, got asked to wait in a space, there were no spaces and the bit of road parking was full of cars, ended up just leaving without the food, just care about their waiting times in the drive thru lane.

Original delivery time was 30 minutes but it took an hour for the order to arrive. I didn’t mind that too much as I know that sometimes there is a shortage of drivers but when the bag arrived with the hygiene seal completely ripped open I was very concerned. I ended up binning the order as I couldn’t give that to my kids knowing that the seal had been ripped open. The delivery driver was entirely dismissive like it wasn’t his problem.

Always have problems with the app and this evening other people had been waiting ages for table service

Like everyone else has mentioned NO MATTER how busy, you're always asked to park up when going through the drive through. 6 or 7 people inside, all seated so not busy at all. 2 double cheese burgers and asked to go wait, it's absolutely abysmal. The issue has to be with the people putting the "burgers" together. Just get rid of them and get a few people that actually put a little bit of effort into their job

Missing food and stomzy stickers not in the sheet already peeled

Order that included 4 sauces for chicken nuggets, 3 sauces for mozzarella sticks, arrived with 0 sauces. Burger and chips seemed to be still frozen. Only warm thing about the order was the sprite.

I ordered a duo breakfast wrap for 2, I received one wrap, 2 hashbrowns. the man that ordered was very rude and he was banging the door 3 separate times, one after the other although he barely even gave us time to get to the door.

Sat in queue to order at 7.47 for over 10mins just to take order. Had to park and wait for food. Food given cold. This franchise has always been awful!!!

Made with a cold burger, so not only was it cold but the cheese hadn’t melted. Bread was stale, old cardboard tasting chips, very below average McDonalds (and no, it wasn’t busy). How can you get it so wrong?!? Pull your fingers out team!

A typical MacDonalds. Coffee was good.

Had a Big Mac, a Fillet of Fish and a Coffee, quite nice and not too expensive

I thought it would gets better but it’s going more worse from last week and half very disappointed with the new manager Ikram or something her name is she is so annoying rude angry attitude ignored us as customers to be served no management at all with new staff changes the old was way better than the new managers like Kirsty or Issa was very nice and friendly manager we hope to see you come back soon .

We had gone here through the drive thru and we were the only car there. Got asked to park up. We had ordered 2 £5 meal deals anx only got given 1 medium fries.

Cold , waited 10 minutes when there was 1 other table there at 1 am.

Terrible service…took well over an hour to be delivered after ordering. When it arrived, it was barely warm and the drink had been spilt everywhere during delivery as the lid had been poorly fitted. Very dissatisfying

forgot to include the four dips that should of come with the x20 nuggets I ordered, my fault really as I could of just walked to this Mcdonalds and bypassed this failure and the £4 delivery charge

It’s the worst McDonald’s in Reading. Poor quality control. Food often tastes off, I avoid it.

Every single time my order is incorrect, I’m told to park up every time and they are guaranteed to come out with the wrong order

Forget any idea of this being fast food, more like pull up in the car park and wait for your order! If you can find space as the Uber & Deliveroo drivers seem to have monopolised these, avoid the drive thru if your thinking this is a convenient option!

I recieved the wrong order and am un happy as it's completely different to what I ordered.

Every order even if you collect is WRONG not a brain cell between them all

we didn’t get what we ordered was completly different meal, wanted 2 cheeseburger happy meals an coke zeros. instead we got 2 medium fries, quarter pounder with cheese, bacon double cheeseburger , 6 nuggets and an orange juice, very unhappy as the meals was for my kids.

5 managers in shifts but all of them walking around no one works just keeping them selves in shifts as every customers waiting for 20 to 30 minutes for their food but no one’s care who’s waiting this happens after 8:or 9 pm everyday

Honestly this is the worst McDonald's. McDonald's is for convenience and fast food. It's quicker to go in and pick food up than going through the drive through. The order is always wrong. So for quickness... This is not your McDonald's

My food was freezing cold and took 1 hour to get to me

Last two deliveries have had something wrong. It's not difficult to tell between a McMuffin and a Flatbread, or make sure someone gets the correct drink.

I don't expect to much from McDonald's but this was the worst I have ever had. Barely Luke warm burger and under cooked chips. When I mentioned it to a member of staff she shrugged smiled and walked off

Probably the worst MacDonalds I've ever been to - took 25 minutes for a basic order and one 'hot' chocolate was ice cold and the other drink was outright wrong. It took about 40 minutes in total to get my correct order, including all the standing and waiting. Not sure what was the cause of the holdup in the kitchen, was clearly not spent on accuracy or decency. The restaurant was not packed by any means but everyone at the counter was complaining about a wrong item or a cold item. Shocking really

Forgot 10 orange juices and 2 double sausage and egg meal. My s and e muffin was soggy and I have photos.

ridiculous wait time for a single meal, could of franchised my own store, fully trained a team and had them cook me a meal in the time it took

It’s rubbish i went for a drive with my boyfriend as he works nightshifts one time we asked for a meal and they forgotten the chips. Then I went the over weekend and I got the wrap of the day and it was cold, than another time I ordered another wrap, got told to park up. Waited 20 bloody minutes, so I got out the van and asked what was taking so long and they looked at me like I was talking a foreign language. Completely forgot and now just tonight as I get to the order station, and the tills go down. Then I had to reverse a big van out of the drive thru. Absolute pisstake

Items missing, I asked the driver what I needed to do, he didn’t understand what I was asking and wouldn’t leave my property. All he would say was macdonalds staff lazy, give me code. All I wanted to know was who do I contact, just eat, macdonalds or does he do it.

Well below the standard of other McDonald’s restaurants. As others have said, the drive thru is a joke because they usually make you park up (in the tiny, usually full car park), even when it’s not busy. The food is very inconsistent; sometimes fresh, sometimes cold and stale. For deliveries, it’s even worse! Food is usually cold and is regularly missing key items from the order, such as a Breakfast Wrap or McMuffin. It’s a massive pain to dispute these issues as it’s handled by Uber and they’ll at most give you a pathetic partial refund. It would be better if the restaurant could get the order right in the first place! All it would take is a quick double-check before handing over the order.

Hot chocolate was awful; the chocolate powder obviously had run out. Coke was flat and driver spilt it on way as bag was soaked, chips were cold and one small bag was missing from order.

This is the most inefficient McDonald’s. As others have said, they always ask you to ‘park up’ instead of giving you your food at a drive through window. However they have barely any dedicated parking spaces so you have to just abandon the car somewhere in the way. It’s chaos and so slow

Never does “drive through”, you ALWAYS have to drive through and then park up and wait for your order. Even when there isn’t much of a queue. What is the point in drive through. You also get given your flat drink at the beginning so that is even worse by the time you can drive off

ordered at 1 came at 3.30 everything was cold and was missing items

Ordered cheesy McCrispy for my daughter through the drive through. She asked for no lettuce or chutney. Got home and found no cheese or cruspy onions either. Ordered online gor delivery, using the options in the app for no kettle or chutney, saying arrived with nor cheesy or crispy onions. This place is useless. Also keep having to go wait in the car park for food Ordered in the drive through. Why can't they keep up with orders? I thought it was a fast food joint.

Not that you care, but I waited 40 minutes for one burger and a portion of fries. Should have gone to Greggs instead at the petrol station.

Mc Donald’s has become my favorite go to when I don’t have to cook or when I exhausted! The food was good but I do have a bias. I think that Mc Donald’s does the best fries in the world!!!

Not even 1 star avoid at all costs, staff was so rude! We and my partner were starving. Went here to claim some points and buy a meal was told no app available so we had to pay for the food we were eligible to claim for free! Then when I asked for extra pickles inside my big mac I was refused and my partner who has worked in Macdonalds asked why not put it as “ask me” which she said we can’t do this. Which they can because I went to reading gate and I’m a regular and they always do this for me even on the new promotions. Absolutely appalling don’t order from here!!

Food is awful. Quality has gone far downhill. Stale chicken, cold beef patties. On top of that, they always make you park up and wait for your drive in food even when they’re not busy. Parts missing from order every time. What has gone wrong macdonalds?

I always use Uber as they are much more friendly. Phone call every time I use your company to ask for for house number, already given it, and always in motor bike gear and helmet, very intimidating

The app advised a delivery time of 25-40 minutes, I ordered at 5pm and it arrived at 6:40! When it’s for children that go to bed at 7pm that’s appalling

The drinks were all spilt inside and all the food goes ruined and it was on edible and the refund was not even infraction of what we paid for as the food all got wasted

Typical McDonald’s franchise. Convenient due to location on business park with drive through for hassle free on the go food. Inside is okay with plenty of seating. Gym located close by so you can go and burn off all those excess calories and sludge. It’s a Macky Dees - whats not to like for an occasional treat - Mc Muffins okay for a hangover just hydrate as a tonne of salt in them.

2 hrs late and still not here!!!! I wamn a refund asap!!!! Order number 4919 Iv had to order from a different mcdonalds.

Unbelievably poor experience, got delivery wrong, had to go to restaurant to sort it out then waited 30 minutes outside in the car, no apology, beyond horrific

Terrible quality food and staff are generally ignorant and hopeless. Wait times can be very long. Beware, youths often loitering around outside can have racist tendencies in and around this area. Have had experience of this recently. Next time I will take a photo of them and post it here so their parents can be proud of what they have created.

Seem to have forgotten what a drive through is and the concept of fast food.

The food took over an hour to reach us

Very slow with the food. The drive thru and couriers seem to get priority, so the wait time is usually high. The self service screens very rarely have paper in them, so you don't get a receipt with an order number. The display screen with orders is usually full, then a member of staff presses a button and clears all orders off it. It's useless for finding out where your order is in the queue. Last 4 times we've been they have got the order wrong. Burgers with ingredients missing, missing apple pies from order, 16 nuggets in a 20-piece box, almost others. I never expect to get what i order within 30 mins, and yet I'm still disappointed.
