Hi. This is my third meal from here and I’m really pleased that it has been consistently good. Prawn chow mien was full of delicious prawns and the noodles were perfect, beef and mushroom was really good not chewy or salty but absolutely spot on. I really hope it stays this good because it’s now my new go to Chinese takeout in Thatcham.

Perfect again. Our surprise guests couldn’t believe their eyes!!!

Have called this take away over 600 times tonight, if it’s not engaged they don’t answer when it does ring, won’t be ordering with them again!

Worst I've ever had, the rice was extremely salty when I got a takeaway. I'm sure it was a one off but I won't risk a 2nd attempt.

Excellent food never disappoints. Singapore rice noodles are well tasty. Used it when it was called the A4 Chinese always been very good.

I have never had a bad meal from here the owners staff are very friendly. I recommend chilli salt ribs, chop suey roll and every other dish. Black bean, satay, chilli, garlic and crispy noodles anything Chinese. Everything is good.

Very poor tonight. Such a shame but this is the second delivery lately that has not been good. Not sure if there is a different chef?

2 stars as the chilli chips was good. Chilli beef was disgusting, like chewing pure fat. Also the staff was rude, sat on their phone taking no notice. Don’t waste your money.

Great food when they finally deliver it. Took almost 2 hours after I ordered for it to be delivered. Phone always engaged so can't even chase up order. Service use to be so much better

We just finished our devine food delivered to St Thomas Court, we shared the dishes and each one was fantastic and for the first time in so so long, I was able to eat without feeling or being sick. Due to stomach problems. I poetically liked the mushroom chi main with the delightful bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Most chinise take aways, in my home town are completely rubbish with English cabbage and carrots nothing Chinese in the chinise. You guys made Chinese like I had as a child. Even if my tummy doesn't hold it in. It will be worth it. I want to take the cheif to Manchester so he can teach the chinise take out, how to make Chinese food. As for the chicken wings omg they were so good. I was a vegetarian this afternoon.

This is bar none the best Chinese in Newbury and thatcham, the delivery is always perfect timing with the food as others have said piping hot and soo very delicious that can’t be faulted, my only critique is also the reason for the title of this review it is really difficult sometimes to get though on the phone if your ordering from home for take out I could call 33 times and get a number busy, this is sort of a double edge sword because being soo busy shows how good this place really is but perhaps maybe they could get a second phone for someone else to answer to take the call or maybe an order online option. All in all though really good food and will be a continuing customer for years to come

Food due at 18:30, arrived at 18:00. Food was piping hot, and sooooo tasty. Thank you guys. Had shrimp chow mein and egg fried rice. He had chicken fried rice and chicken sweet and sour. To share we had crispy chilli beef, which was lovely but could have been a little sweeter.

Waiting over an hour. Although piping hot. Chicken was rubbery. Chips where under seasoned. Ribs had less meat on than a prisoner of war. Curry sauce represented the bile from my pet spaniel after he has been eating freshly cut grass. However, prawn crackers and can of coke went down a treat.

We ordered our good at 16.45 it arrived at 18.15 on the 10th October. The food was cold, meat in curry was chewy, ribs tough, rice awful, chicken balls and pancake rolls soggy and chips like they were re cooked from yesterday. In all totally inedible we re bagged and put the whole lot straight in the rubbish bin. Will never use this takeaway again.

Not a bad Chinese and overall very good - I had the Crispy Chilli Beef and found it a bit plain but it wasn‘t bad. Had the sauce been more and the overall flavour a bit more then it would have deserved 5 stars. Went here based on the reviews and the closeness of the hotel. Ordering was easy and fast and if you spend over £10 you can use your card but otherwise its cash only. Food is served quickly and the hot & sour soup was delicious and fresh. Like I said the Crispy Chilli Beef lacked flavour but was fresh and also didn‘t taste oily which was good. Would come again but probably ask for a different sauce.

You never have to wait long here from ordering your takeaway to receiving it. Food is always piping hot always lovely just a shame they don't do tofu. Really wish they did battered tofu like you can get in Newbury.

The only Chinese we order from in town. Food is usually pretty good, nice but not too greasy for a takeaway. They usually beat their delivery times too, always quote about 45 minutes and it arrives in about 30. Love the prawn crackers.

Im only leaving 1 star as thats the minimum i can give. We waited an hour and a half for delivery never arrived. Called them to see where food was, never answered the phone. We won't be using them again.
