McDonald's in Peterborough

My experience at McDonald's on Bourges Boulevard in Peterborough was fantastic! The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. They handled my order with care, ensuring everything was just right. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, and there was plenty of seating available. I enjoyed the classic McDonald's menu, and as always, my meal was fresh and delicious. The drive-thru service was also efficient, making it easy to grab a quick bite. Overall, it's a reliable spot for a fast-food meal, and the excellent customer service sets this location apart. I highly recommend visiting when you're in the area!

Half an hour wait on food, missed items aswell and very rude staff!! Very poor!

Please stop asking people to park in the bays of the drive thru when it’s full. You’re parking up 5 cars in 3 spaces.

If you live in Peterborough, then spare yourself the disappointment of going to this McDonald's. There are plenty that are better, like the one on Padholme Road. I can't even begin to express how many times i have ordered from this location, and either recieved something completely wrong, or several items missing. I've had Double Quarter Pounders with Cheese arrive with a single dry patty and no cheese at all, i've had Philly Cheese Stacks with no cheese arrive, wrong sizes of fries delivered, the works. One time i even went in to the location in person to DOUBLE CHECK my order was okay before leaving, and it was still wrong. I brought this to the attention of a manager present, who was understanding and reassured that my order would be made correctly, yet afterwards i recieved nothing at all, despite seeing my order be put to the side in the kitchen. I had to once again track down the manager and ask for my order, which i then correctly recieved. I dont normally write too many reviews like this, but i've had so many bad experiences with this particular location, and so have many other customers to the point where it is apparent that improvement is needed. Avoid at all costs until this gets sorted. As someone who personally works in food service, this is unnacceptable.

Went for a quick bite to eat 😋 the meal deal was worth every penny.

Slow service today as I had to wait outside in the waiting bay for about ten minutes and my cappuccinos were cold when they turned up!

*Update 13 Oct 24. 1am This drive thru feels like it's in the ghettos of southside Bronx it's so dark and dingy. The car park was so dark that I didn't even feel safe getting out to place rubbish in the bin and couldn't see a thing what I was eating! 😭 Obviously the lights stay out to save money on electricity. Food was warm and dry. Staff were good at the drive through.

The staff were amazing and helpful.

Always check your order before leaving when using drive thru as the orders are not complete.

Everything from food, service and cleanliness was excellent.

One of the worst McDonald's I've visited. Understaffed isn't a problem. Loads of staff randomly wandering around, whilst queues of people are waiting to be served their "fast" food. Whilst waiting over half an hour for our food, most people were bringing their food back as it was cold. The attitude of the staff who were actually doing anything was like they were doing you a favour by shoving the wrong, cold order at you. Won't be back.

Food took ages to come was cold I was also given Coke Zero when I paid for full fat coke

Basically starved to death and emaciated while waiting for the slowest table service in McDonald's history. I could have picked, cooked and baked the apple pies myself, ate them, digested and shat them out in the time they took.

Ahsan is an absolute atrocious manager, I had to wait around 30-40 mins to get cold food and then the chips were stale, cold. When I called up, I had to repeat myself several times. I had 3 chips, only offered 2 chips, nothing additional for the inconvenience. Then started to argue with me.

When I ever we order the driver always makes us come out to collect it .

The fries were cold and only a medium portion when I ordered a large portion. Also I phoned in to ask if they can give me barbecue sauce and sweet and sour I received neither. I phone in and was told I have to wait half an hour to speak to the manager as he or she is on a break. I said I’ll come into store to return the food and pick up a new food however he still wait to speak to the manager.

Order delayed by restaurant 4 times, food arrived cold

the food is good as though the waiting time is horrible , i’ve had to wait for over 20 minutes as someone with a 2 meal order , as of someone with also a 2 meal order got theirs 5 minutes after order . i thought it was a fast service restaurant

seemed to stop for a 10 minute break soon after leaving restaurant. Susequently food was cold and icecream and milkshake melted... Terrible experience.

Food was stone cold. Did not seem like delivery driver had food inna delivery bag. Before the door was opened (in a few seconds) the driver had already thrown the paper bags containing the food on the ground and seemed like they were ready to run.

they didn't find the house and he call me just after 20m ,and after all this the driver told me hed go back with the order and was extremely rude during that phone conversation, knowing that i was walking towards him to facilitate the issue and still telling me he was going to leave that very instant.

Cola was be nearly emnty....all Box paper was wet from cola.

Ordered pancakes and sausage meal. No sausage and syrup were delivered.

My order never got delivered and have not I mean NOT GOT DELIVERED. I contacted McDonald’s and they told me that once they sent it out for delivery they do not follow up, therefore I have not been recompensed for any of the order. I will however inform any third party that this is how you would be treated. Ended up getting delivery from another source. I do think that the service with which you are supposed to be providing is diabolical to say the least

I paid £16 it took ages when it got here all i received was half a coke a cheeseburger and chips when i ordered a Big Mac meal happy meal and a chicken salad asked the person who was delivering it and he claimed that all they gave him to be honest seemed abit off to me not best pleased

Called this McDonald’s and was told “sorry” about an incorrectly prepared order which couldn’t be eaten due to dietary issues no offer of a fresh order or money back and considering it’s them who messed up not just eat that’s absolutely disgusting behaviour on their part!

A little busy but food order was correct and everything was piping hot didn't give us any serviettes which was a little annoying.

One of the worst Mcdonald’s I’ve been to. We were the ONLY car in the drive through and told to park up then waited 15 minutes for half of our order to turn up missing the drinks and the sauces you get charged extra for?! Then had to queue up inside (defeats the point of a drive through???) while a staff member stood there staring into space daydreaming before he even realised he had customers waiting. By the time we got back to the car our food was cold. Terrible service.

Two McFlurrys ordered.. one full cup and a one empty cup.. how can they put an empty cup in bag with no ice cream in it 🥴and had to wait nearly an hour and a half .. they kept changing the delivery time from 20 mins .. dismal service

Normally, we don't have any problems with this McDonalds, but this time, they forgot to include two boxes of chicken selects and a box of chicken nuggets. My kids and I were looking forward to these more than the burgers, so it's a bit disappointing.

Stay as far away from this McDonald’s. Ordered a fillet o fish through the driveway and ended up getting it with no fish… had to make my own fish fingers to make it a meal. Would not recommend, please also see other poor reviews with similar experiences.

yet again cold food & mcdonalds messed up order, got some-ones elses order, mine was order no 32, but got 32 & 84, and looked like it was put together by stevie wonder. was just a mess inside the box. phoned store & was told to call just eat, again

Ordered my food, wasn’t even delivered, but the driver marked it down as delivered. So who ever the driver is can bring me the money that I used to pay for my order.

Food was freezing cold. I ordered the food at 22:10/22:15 and it didn’t get delivered till 22:50. Missing sauces that was included with dippers

The worst customer service!! Ordered through Uber eat. Which is so slow at responding.. No fries at all and missing burger. Calling McDonald’s and no answer, after a few attempts picked up and put the phone straight down. Not the first time this happened where items were missing or wrong items are delivered! Also the the McChicken sandwich that did arrive was full of onion which ended up in the bin! Waste of money!!!

This McDonald's gives you the standard experience to expect from a McDonald's Drive-Thru. The food was provided very quickly and was piping hot! Was very happy with the quality of the food.

Missing items from the order as usual. But also as usual I then have to spend my time and money to get it sorted out as neither Just Eat nor McDonald’s could organise a P?*% up in a brewery. I can’t help but think that there should be some sort of checking process between the two of you. Poor at best

The burgers arrived with barely any sauce on them, I ordered cheese bites which again came with no dip, I ordered and paid for garlic mayo which also did not arrive. The food was bland and dry. Never been so disappointed by a McDonald's branch. Will not be ordering from here again. AVOID!

We were at the drive thru; the very last stop, where we were collecting our order. As the woman handed us our drink, it slightly spilled on my hand, so I took a few seconds to wipe it up. There was no problem until the woman started waving her hands about, signalling us to leave even though it was empty and no other car was behind us. She was making these stupid hand motions, swishing to the side. I do not think she meant for us to see, but she didnt do a very good job at hiding it. Well done for making fun of yourself! Honestly, bravo!

every single time I order a burger is missing how hard is it to pack an order!

Quarter pounder was been in separate pieces, not attractive to eat. Soft drink Coca Cola zero without gas on taste of unfiltered water (chlorine in cola taste)
