Massive wait time for the 3 mcmuffins - over 20 minutes! 2 members of staff on the floor not doing a lot - could have helped. Delievers seem to be a priority- McDonald's is no longer a fast food restaurant

Utter clowns, every single visit there's missing items from my item, every time the ice cream machine supposedly isn't working. No pride in their work at all!

Rating is connected to accuracy of food items for delivery food and that the milkshakes are often unavailable.

- No clear parking information - Forgot half of our food - Gave us the wrong food - None of the machines work - Long wait for half our order In conclusion, need better staff management and food management. More organising needed, if you go here prepare for the risk of just not getting your food.

Claims to be open 24 hours but that is only for drive thru and will refuse you service if not daytime and driving thru

Food was nice though they forgot 2x hash brown with my brekkie meal and forgot the straws , I was unable to go back as was late for work lol

Such a shame that this restaurant has gone downhill. We waited 20 mins for our order then one of the burgers was incorrect. The service was slow to correct. Sadly, although it was quiet, the language from other customers was dreadful, which I appreciate is not the restaurant's fault.

Graham made our day! We went to McDonald’s before the airport and Graham entertained us with loads of magic tricks, really made our morning, great customer service!

Slow staff. Cold food. The music played inside was the best thing about our visit.

Placed a order when it arrived there was no chocolate milkshake and the food was luke warm terrible service will not order from them again waiting for a refund but I won't hold my breath

Somehow awful even for McDonald’s. The food is almost always cold and takes an extremely long time to actually receive it. The interior is no longer inviting and colourful but cold and dull, sterile like a car dealership. And you can’t even order at the counter anymore, instead being forced to use the greasy and dirty screens to order, probably just so they could fire a few employees and increase profits. The worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Don’t go here. Also bring back the McRib.

Fine for a drive through but poor for delivery. Had missing items, unable to contact store, had to reorder item and pay double delivery. Left message but call never returned.

Staff aren't interested, and food is awful, but I usually find the coffee is fine.

Went through drive thru, order wrong, had to park and wait for 10 mins, drove 2 mins home and food was cold.

With the new ordering system service is slow. Waiting for 30mins for a small order is ridiculous. Some people was waiting 15mins just for hot drinks. Drive through and delivery services seem to be getting all the attention.

Every time, park in bay one, line up for 35 mins, and I have to wait another 10/15 mins without fail. If I order through Uber, something is missing or it's cold.

This branch is an absolute disgrace!!!! Every single time I have ordered online from here they take forever, driver arrives there and food is never ready, they can be waiting for around 30 min it's disgusting! They always forget condiments and straws regularly, the food turns up cold often too due to the restaurant not delivery driver. I avoid this mc donalds but sometimes it's the only one open and I hope maybe things will be better, but no they fail everytime. They definitely need a new manager cause the current one is doing a pathetic job.

Since they have made over this Macdonald's it has completely gone downhill. It's lost all it's customer service & service in general for customers eating in & driving through. It seems to just be catering for just eat & online orders. We waited for 45mins for quite a small order including milkshakes inside. We were number 75 & saw orders over 100 going out before ours. I witnessed 2 customer complaints & food sat on the side waiting to go out to drive through orders only for some of those orders when they eventually went out to come back in again. Then the milkshake machine ran out which I queried as I had ordered them on my order.... I did get my milkshakes but they had been sitting out for quite some time while we waited for our order...meaning they were basically cups of flavoured milk. Absolutely awful & we will not be visiting that branch again

we ordered on the app and picked it up to take home, we had ordered a couple meals with fries, we got everything except the fries, they didnt put the fries in there, the lady that handed me my order said that it was all in the bag so i took it and left

They had no ice creams or milkshakes no chicken nuggets or selects absolute shame of a place

Slow as hell. 20 minutes to give me some fries and a drink at pick up. Disgusting. Gave them another chance on the 30th Dec. 18 minute wait, missed a burger. Rest of food cold buy the time we got it. Management needs to sort this poor show or the franchisee needs new management.

After breaking down in the McDonald’s drive thru and being diabetic Lauren the general manager refused to serve me food and told me to uber it instead because I needed to have “insurance” to be served at a drive through? Whatever that’s about, McDonald’s sort your staff out. Disgraceful attitude from the whole team on tonight’s shift. It was apparent when a young lad in the team rolled his eyes as I pulled up to the window. Disgusting.

Ordered delivery just now. It came and my mums big tasty burger was missing, impossible to get hold of the restaurant and everything else is stone cold. Terrible service.

Food is practically always cold and never presented well. You have to wait a long time for your order too with over half the time waiting in the bay or in the car park. We waited 20 minutes after placing our order before the food came out and even then it was wrong

Working 24/7, so that's a huge benefit, but can be a longer wait during night times.

We did not stay due to the updated seating, which looked more suitable for young children.

The place was mad busy this evening when I arrived to order some food. However the staff worked really hard to keep up with the influx of orders and, given the onslaught, my order was delivered in reasonable time and accurate. Well done to the hard working team here!

It’s a miracle if your food is ever ready when you get to the window and you’re not asked to park up. Even when they had that extra time to figure out our order last night, they still missed an item and the nuggets were cold. Well…we thought they were just cold. Turns out they weren’t cooked properly as both my partner and I woke up with food poisoning. Safe to say we won’t be going back to that McDonald’s ever again!

Worst mcdonalds I've found . Orders are wrong. If you get a drive thru, expect to be told to park in the car park for at least 10 mins for your order to arrive if your lucky to get parked as that's where they send everyone rather than passing food through the window avoid

This was a two star review but now its one. There is one guy in there who is amazing and super friendly. However, this morning It took me 20 minutes to get one hot chocolate. Which is when I originally wrote this review. Now I'm amending it. I went back there for lunch and ordered a filet o fish. Why I got a mc chicken is beyond me.

I just got a taxi at 05:05 am to McDonald’s Southend airport from Lucy road Wich cost me over £25 . It said it was open 24 hours I arrive and they said they they’re closed. Nowhere on the site did it say they was closed. Absolutely fuming. Just wasted nearly £30 👎👎👎 how do I claim this money back!!!

It took ages for the food to come we ordered 3 meals and were waiting for almost 20 minutes I'm not very satisfied with the time it took not happy at all I went to a Mcdonalds before and it took under 10 minutes food was alright but I expect next time to be quicker

Ordered on just eat waited an hour and food was freezing cold , I live 10 minutes away , how can the food be so cold and ice cream was melted it was disgusting I throw it all in the bin , if they can’t do food hot don’t do deliveries and when I complain just eat and McDonald’s blame each other and you do not receive any compensation

Absolutely shocking, poor service

Waited for ages for two sandwiches First attempt wrong burger. Second attempt 5 mins later two wrong burgers. Third attempt gave my order after it had been sat on a tray for 5 minutes. Come on really it not rocket science. Worst service at a McDonald’s ever

Visit here regularly always spotlessly clean including toilets which are a priority in my opinion. Food always well presented and enjoyable. Sometimes find background music a little loud but overall love this McDonald's.

Order for delivery. Baring in mind small order, 4 items of food, 3 drinks. Missed one food item off the order, that was clearly at the top. Called to complain and got voicemail. Not sure I'll actually hear from them. Wouldn't mind but that's one person with no food to eat at all.

Visited today, waited 20 mins for a collection order. No cup holder for drinks, when I mentioned to the member of staff the only response was 'no sorry' and just smiled. Never have a great experience at this location, only use at a push.

Slow, unorganised, can't hear what the guy is saying as the speaker is broken, forgotten sauce with nuggets, and can't go back round as the sodding car park doesn't let you in more than once a day. Joke of a place

Well, it’s McDonald's, so I wasn’t expecting fine dining, but I was hoping for something a little faster! The coffee took its time, especially considering the place was almost empty. For fast food, it wasn’t exactly fast. The service could use a little pick-me-up too—nothing says ‘welcome’ like a smile, right? Especially being so close to the airport, this might be the first stop for visitors to Southend, and let’s just say… we don’t want their first thought to be about booking a return flight! A little warmth and speed would go a long way."

Been sitting in the drive thru for about 25 minutes - I do not understand how it can be this slow. We could have had a sit down meal in the time we’ve been waiting and the queue isn’t even long it’s just not moving.

Avoid at all cost, 40 minute wait for food though the drive though at 08:20 when it's was empty.

Worst McDonald’s in Southend! Every time I visit here they either mess up my order or make me wait ages on the car park! Seems to have got a lot worse since the refurbishment!! Save you time and money and go to Rayleigh weir or hadleigh

Gotta love Maccys, Una is such an amazing member of staff, always remembers us and always speak to us ensuring that the food is correct and hot. Such a credit to Maccys

This McDonald's has been refurbished And was lot better than it was. Well for a few weeks The the food delivery drivers now have a separate entrance so the customer area is no longer as crowded. The self service points all seem to be working well. But back to the poor service and only warm not hot food and they can't blame it on being that busy

Hotel was good, very clean, and everything worked. Staff were very efficient and friendly. AI bar was a bit limited, but coffee was good.

Awful experience, I ordered 2 wrap meals and a small fries for my daughter and McDonalds haven’t put any of the fries in so we now go without fries with a meal it’s not even a meal and my daughter hasn’t got her food now. Disgusting

night munch, shift manager Mark very helpful when asking about gluten allergy gave me booklet to take home, pleasant busy staff, refurbishment is lovely but a shame the toilets weren't given a make over

Big Mac Meal, Crispy BBQ wrap meal and cheeseburger happy meal took over 45 mins to reach us when others of same items got their faster. Food was cold when we got it. Staff were rushed, blamed being busy but never apologised, tables were filthy and left for the customers to clean.

3 times in a row, I have received stone cold food. Absolutely shocking, especially as the one last night wasn't ready and had to park up and wait for them to bring it to me and then get served cold food. Absolute joke! I have been waiting to try this so called new and improved menu, but so far it has been worse than ever before. How on earth can you getting it so wrong after so many years in the business is just beyond me. On top of that, prices have virtually doubled for half the quality. I could get a decent, hot and filling curry for the same price. Save your money and get some good food instead!

The food was some of the best mcdonalds ive had in a while, mcdonalds is often a disappointment in essex but its so lovely to have a nice change. Graham the customer care gave us dinner and a show by doing magic and could be seen interacting positively with customers around the resturant floor. Absolutely amazing visit.

Somehow missed 2 out of 4 items on a breakfast order. Not the first time they’ve forgotten items via delivery or drive through and have a reputation of missing items off of orders.
