KFC Southend - High St in Southend-on-Sea

Shop open, staff unwilling to serve. Terrible service from the colonel, really disappointed.

Wrong order received and couldn’t get in touch with the driver. Just Eat didn’t answer at my call. Not happy at all.

driver was excellent, my food was hot

2 hours late and i didnt even get my kids meal

delivery good, but every time I order from kfc they forget something. today they only put two sets of fries in the order instead of three!

Not a bad location however it is exclusively a digital menu ordering location that proved to be difficult for older customers to approach. Staff forget smaller alterations in meals, never removing cheese regardless of requests in ordering. There is also very limited seating inside, the upper floor is almost consistently locked off, even during the busier times of day.

ordered two 4piece meals and got 8 legs, it's a chicken not a spider!! I feel cheated paying £32 for that and if I was at the restaurant I certainly would have complained. really really not happy

Haven’t been to this particular KFC for years! We ordered our food from the touch screen stations. I wanted to know whether the popcorn chicken had egg in it as my daughter has an egg allergy. However when I clicked in the ‘i’ icon for alleged information it told me to scan a QR code so I had to look online. Why?! Why could the information not be on the screen. My phone didn’t want to load the site, it was telling me that the site I was trying to access was in service? Anyway I then decided to ask someone at the counter, whilst waiting I noticed a sign saying check online or ask a member of staff for allergen information. I asked the lady behind the counter does the popcorn chicken have egg in it. She stared at me blankly and said “I don’t know…” wow helpful… I decided I couldn’t risk it, luckily I bring my daughter’s food out with me but I like to get her something if I can so that she doesn’t feel ‘left out’. We then found a table, just, upstairs was shut. The table was dirty however luckily I carry antibacterial wipes with me. We had both ordered a filet tower box meal, only to find that one of them didn’t contain a hash brown! I asked the guy at the desk if I could have a hash brown for the tower burger that I had ordered. Instead of just giving me a hash brown he requested my burger back. I then had to empty the chips out of the other half of the box to hand him back my burger, he took it, put a hash brown in and handed me the same burger back (I know because I’d taken a bite out of it) why he couldn’t have just given me a had brown I don’t know. I wasn’t asking for a whole new burger. I would not recommend this KFC. I’ve only given two stars because I do like the food. Customer service terrible, trying to find allergen info, ridiculous!! Cleanliness, seriously lacking!!

He had to phone me but that’s fine but it does say in the notes behind seaside cycles but food great and on time.

Friendly staff. Manager helped the staff to sort out the issue with my food.

Mini fillets usually always fresh as should be but today they were just dried out like they’ve been sat in a warmer for too long. Disappointed today.

Said my order was delivered but it never showed up. And the funny thing is the time it was meant to be delivered was 10 mins after the alert I received. Crazy!

I keep having things missing from my order

the food was freezing cold, as they put my drinks in the same bag as my food, absolute joke

guessing the driver waited for his second delivery before leaving and still delivered mine second. got to love a cold KFC.

Staff are very helpful. Chicken was very tasty and freshly prepared. My daughter lover her kids meal with popcorn.

Excellent visit overall. Food was really fresh the rice box was amazing so good and tasty.

Food was cold, chips under cooked burger missing items and the lettuce inside burgers were off and brown. Corn on the cob was an odd colour and looked off!.

I haven't received my order and it says it has been delivered. How the food was delivered without the code, I don't know. It doesn't make sense.

Chicken was dry and not juicy and the fries came with two cold cans of drink sat on top of them. Never again

Staff were rude just now, was just there trying to order at the kiosk and the advised me to use the touch screen things which were all taken by people who wanted to take there sweet time… I went to the kiosk and they said they don't take cash… I wasn’t trying to order with cash I was just trying to order… on top of this experience the chicken I’ve eaten here before is not great and I won’t be coming back… have one star and be sure to be nicer to people who just want some food….

Never arrived. Just under £50 of food ordered. Said it was delivered but definitely was not.

Restraunt had clearly not been cleaned in ages, the woman next to us spilled gravy and asked for a cleaner to clean it up and 30 minutes later it was still there. There was rubbish piled up on top of the bins and tables and food all over the floor. Despite this the food was still very good but it’s kfc so of course it’s going to be good.

food was nice. however, the restaurant was a mess. all the tables upstairs were covered in rubbish and so was the floor, we got pretty much the last table that wasn’t covered in rubbish and the bins were overflowing . a whole pot of gravy was spilt on the floor and a member of staff was asked to clean it up and no one came.

I spent £16.56 on food, they said we had to use the self service kiosk, they did not seem polite... I received my food, but the Pepsi was really warm, so the employee shoved some ice into my cup.. They said they have complained about the machine and fixing it. I felt like I was an inconvenience and not a customer, could not wait to get out of the restaurant. The drink was so warm and disgusting... The restaurant at Southend is disgusting, the one at Lakeside is good though.. I am disappointed with the money I spent, I felt like a third world citizen.

It did not arrive. Nobody answered the phone and no one has got back to me as to why it never was delivered !

Food was acceptable but the premises feels grubby and needs a clean / refresh. (Food and drink stains on the walls, tables left unclean for a long time and bins full.)

Doors lock at 22:45 when it say open till 23:00. Very abusive staff sign language us from inside the KFC.

Food was in bed state as the packaging was all torn apart and the fries have all fallen down on the way even before the food got to me. I'm soo disappointed.

No fries with one of the meals. Yet to find a restaurant in Southend that delivers a full order.

At least the food was hot as the courier was fast and friendly. But my chicken fillet burger was dark brown and Dry.

Was there yesterday my partner and grandson ordered a mighty bucket for 1 they both ill and haven't got off the toilet never buy from there again

Food was on time, correct and really hot, so much better than the greyhound estate KFC.

driver turned up sat in car on phone for 5mins then delivers food in a Lidl bag for life???? food cold aswell.

Absolutely appalling! Portions so small and toilet was not available downstairs because the staff was in there for a long time ! No toilets for a dine in place?? No hand soaps and the service was so basic They didn't care Wrong people working in there

Didn’t receive parts of our order

Busy time of day but upstairs was closed so not easyto get a seat. Pouring with rain so eating outside was not an option.

Food and drink missing. Ordered the £24.99 bucket extra mini fillets. Missing the drink, fillets and popcorn chicken. Bag was open when delivered.

I ordered 2 pieces of chicken. Was served a chicken wing instead of thigh or drumstick, and they would not accept it was an error. Just order wings as it will be cheaper! Customer service was terrible.

A portion of Chips were missing from one of the orders. Rest of chips were stone cold. KFC has got extremely expensive for what it is and I am probably not going to order again. Unhappy

I go there sometimes to buy some chicken strips. Although the food is okay, the service is appalling! Unfriended staff who never greets, ignore the customers, and behave like they're doing you a favour to serve you! They're either understaffed or they clearly employ the wrong people. I'm not one to complain lightly, but it's difficult to find such display of disarray and unfriendliness. The worst part is that I'm forced to give them 1 star...
