McDonald's in Hinckley and Bosworth

Macky'doodles...it's about as consistent as Starmer's government! Two Tier! Pretty much where ever you go, there's Macky'doodles, consistently Luke warm fries, indifferent attention to detail, putting profit before performance. You have to time your visit, get the timing right and it's possible to get hot food, get it wrong and 'parrp' yes its she it!(misprint). Usually clean toilets and the service is good, too much reliance on electronics! Quality of burgers is inconsistent, beef flavoured salt! I wonder when theyll start doing meal worm burgers! Yes you read that right, it's alleged that the EU (that last bastion of democracy) Has signed off the use of powdered meal worms in bread, cakes and pasta etc! 4g in 100g.and the labelling rules are well obscure...its the future!

Ordered on the app and said I would pick it up. Got to mcdonalds, there was a queue onto the road for the drive through so thought I'd park up and go inside. Did the ol' thingy on the app saying i'd grab it inside and was given an order number. Stood there for a while, then my number disappeared from the 'preparing' column, completely off the board. When I asked the customer service person about my order 'i'll go and find out' was the response I got. About 5 minutes later it turns out my order had been sat on the stainless steel table behind the counters for around 10 minutes. Needless to say by the time I got home it was cold. Also to add insult to injury I ordered a large and just got regular. Poor show.

There are fruit/ yeast flies around the sauce nozzles and the taps in the toilets.

Can NEVER get an order right! Why i ever take the kids is beyond me, unfortunately that's where they like, but no longer SHOCKING

My favourite McDonald’s of all time. The food is hot, service is great, comes with a smile and food is served quickly. Any issues are dealt with appropriately and again with a smile. It’s a busy little space but runs like clockwork. Well done to all who work it, it’s a lovely atmosphere when dining inn.

Just got home with £20 worth of crap. Have the staff ever looked at the pictures of what they are supposed to be selling and they missed out two items ...might be a blessing there...won't be in a rush to go againe

I needed a quick top-up charge for my EV whilst also needed to get something to eat, so decided to pop in to McDonald's. Big mistake! Having put my car on charge, I went in to the 'restaurant' and placed my order at one of the self-service boards. Bearing in mind that I only ordered a quarterpounder with cheese and a medium fries, I had to wait an incredible 17 minutes for my order - I'm sure it wouldn't have taken that long if I had gone through the drive-thru. When my order was finally ready, the person who handed it to me mumbled an apology for the wait without any eye contact. The only thing that worked well in this experience was the EV charger, but due to my extended wait for my food even that cost me more than expected.

waited 20 min for food. When it arrived the fries were half empty and the milkshake had been standing so long it was like milk, not a thick shake. Grumpy service too from a young man with no name badge.

Absolutely awful. Ordered in the drive thru as I had the dog with me. Got told to park up. 40 mins later and still no food. I ended up calling them to ask if I was likely to receive it soon. They were very apologetic, but I was not the only person who'd been waiting for ages. Food was clearly left for ages before I got it. Fast food, it was not. Will go elsewhere in future.

Worst McDonald's in the Area, foods always cold, service is terrible, I recently had one guy say "we can't find your order, can I just put a bag of food together and give you that". They constantly tell people to park up when there is no available parking. Used to be a good McDonald's but since the refurbishment it's gone really down hill. My partner could hear a female workers screaming behind about customers. Awful

This is the only McDonalds I've found that do the eggs cleanly and they don't have the rubber hard edges, it was great to have a sausage egg mcmuffin the way it should taste.

This has to be the worst MacDonald there is the food is cold and sent back but the service is awful missing food continued waiting whilst management are being unprofessional. This used to be one of the best but since the refit it is awful use the one down the road on A5 as it will be worth the journey.

I am sure this MacDonalds is the one before the entrance to Hades. Populated by the dead ace the dying. The food was ok though.

Our food took ages, when it did arrive we were missing 2 cheese burgers at the counter and when I got home the Double quarter pounder with cheese had no cheese! Had to rush my dinner then go back and get the correct burger!

Just overall pissed off really mess up my order and always get it wrong I had a meal and it come with all lettuce and more that I did not want just ordered uber eats order and then it got cancelled left with no food for our dinner this McDonald's oml

Waiting on a delivery using uber eats. On my 3rd delivery driver. An hour has gone by... no food. Messaging with the driver he says they don't care what the drivers say. Apparently it's not even busy... My food will probably come cold too. Absolute joke.

What a let down this branch is to the McDonalds name. Last 8 drive through visits (updated 11.24) have been really poor with food missing every time. Check your order when it arrives - I check & still find they have tried to short change me & it is every time - gives McDonalds generally a bad name but I guess fiddling with orders makes more money for the franchisee.

Used the drive through but there's always a happy welcoming vibe at the windows. The fries were super hot!! Perfect.

We visited yesterday for food, have to say wasn't impressed. I thought it was meant to be fast food, well it certainly isn't! Three quarters of an hour later. Giving priority to a certain delivery and drive through. Guys you really need to pull your socks up get you act together staff at macs used to be some of the best now you all walk around we a couldn't care attitude. A liitle smile sometimes goes a long way.

Don’t know if they’ve had a power cut or not, but I placed an order nearly two hours ago and still received nothing, apart from the delivery time going up and up. Won’t even give me the option to cancel and get my money back! Me and my son are hungry, absolutely ridiculous! Never again!

Over 10 different orders over a year and each time a main meal was missing when using the drive through. To the point I now have to check the order before driving off. Gone hungry too many times.

The order is never comple or correct the food takes ages and is usually cold

I have yo say I'm really disappointed with this restaurant. It was Faultless before the latest refit. Staff were friendly,always clean. The food came fast and hot. The last 2 visits I've had to wait a ridiculous amount of time. The burger I had looked like it was thrown together. The fries were cold,and the atmosphere was boring. I recently went through the drive through and ordered a double cheeseburger on the app with no pickles or mustard. I got asked to park in the waiting area. I was there for 32 minutes before my food came out which was cold. I'd asked everytime someone else's food came out to be told they'll check. There's so many food delivery drivers there I don't know if they get priority, butI won't visit again, which is a shame because it was a fantastic place.

Ordering food from here and they usually mess up with order. Items are missing or burgers not prepped properly. Worst Mc Donalds I've ordered a delivery via their App. No one is answering phone either.

Great people work here plus the service is excellent.

I only use this Maccies as a last resort. The reason why I am leaving such a bad review this time, is because, unlike other times when they usually forget something, or take way too long, this time, they actually had no beef. I don’t know why, but this particular branch just doesn’t seem to get it right.

Staff were friendly and eager to help. Food was warm and tasted great, can't beat a McDonald's breakfast!!

Hinckley McDonald's never get the food correct, I have to make customised food because of dietary needs, the staff never check the orders, they just make the food up launch it into the bag and care very little about needs. I have learned now not to leave the restaurant without checking my food first as it is always wrong. Hinckley McDonald's are the worst for doing it. Young kids who are always messing around, your paid to work not be stupid.

If staff paid more attention to customers than flirting with with other staff and messing around. Waiting time for your order is ridiculous, my meal apparently was just cooked yet it was cold the fries tasted stale keep well clear, go bad boys at least you get what you pay for,

Major improvements have happened at this branch, and not just the site refurbishment. The service is better, the staff now seem to care & the food has improved beyond belief. Well done to the whole team for turning things around....

Absolutely shocking. Food arrived an hour after order via Uber. Everything completely cold but Uber show collected and delivered with 15 mins of collection (within 15 mins of actual delivery) Spoke to CS but apparently collection & delivery within time. So who is responsible for MD giving food to driver that is stone cold? If you've saved up for a treat but want better than needing to microwave a dry cold mcdonalds avoid at all costs. Disgusting!

If you have the option choose the McDonalds on the A5 at Dodwells industrial estate. Every time I have ordered from here lately the order has been wrong!

Woeful at night. 25 minutes with no other customers to do 5 chicken selects and 2 double cheeseburgers, all of which weren’t fresh when finally presented at car. No sauces given for selects. Shambles

Came here for some breakfast, pre ordered on the app. Picked it up through drive through, I was missing items. It isnt the first time its happened at least twice, so probably best to double check before you leave!

Busy brach often taken up by local delivery drivers (who also take up all the click and collect spots). Usual McDonald's food which has always come hot and quickly even on very busy days. Milkshake and ice cream machine always seems to be working too which is a plus

What happened with the service at this place in the last month or so? It is taking 30 minutes to get your order!

We ordered from this location and all the food came cold and there was a missing items and burgers were smashed up. The fries were so cold they tasted stale. We call both Uber and McDonald’s and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Really wrong

Visited bank holiday monday 26th August 2024... All i can say is.... Do not purchase food or drink from here.... Food was cold....and definitely not appetising.. Staff just standing around talking to friends... Not giving out order's.... We had to ask if that was our order sitting there... Nobody seemed to be in charge so staff just doing as they please.. Just watched there ad on tv... What a joke.. Definitely false advertising...

1st time visiting this mcdonalds and wow was I shocked The tables were full of rubbish not been cleaned The staff were just all stood around messing about when so much obviously needed doing When my order was eventually ready there were multiple items missing so I had to wait longer for these to be made up When I got home and opened the bags to eat the food it was a mess it looked like the food was put together by a 2 year old I will definitely not be eating there again

Just left there. (Check the cameras) The place was full of people sitting waiting for thier food,.... waiting. Drive thru closed. I stood as the only person at the counter for 6 minutes. Zero service or acknowledgment, so left. Crock built a fast food restaurant. He'd be ashamed of this place.

Awful, just grim. Just don’t bother getting food delivered from here. Cold, wrong, missing items. Oh try and sort it, no chance. Passed between Uber and McDonalds, rubbish!!

I have been going here for years but the service is now terrible the last 5 times running they have got the order completely wrong. When I have gone in to sort it out I am faced with an unenthusiastic teenager giving me an half arsed apology where they have on two separate occasions still got the order wrong. Strongly recommend that you avoid it

Toilets were disappointing - taps loose and 1 not working. Staff ok. Food - well its a burger and fries, what do you expect?

A usually busy place so allow plenty of time. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have made mistakes with orders but maybe linked to busy times. They are happy to correct any issues. The car park is quite small so again when busy parking may be an issue. No problems with food and upto usual standards.

Just very dirty in the seating area, was going to dine in until I saw the state of the tables and floors

Never have any McFlurry on before 1pm it's school holidays here no ice cream and yet the place was full of children wanting ice cream, I try on a weekly basis because my grandson asks for a Mcflurry after his swimming lessons at 12.15 but been lucky once in the last six weeks and that's only because the manager got it for us 😡

Been here 4 times and every time had to wait unresonable amount of time for my order. Staff simply doesnt care and take their time. Just spend 20 minutes waiting for cold food which had to be done again. I am not coming back here.

Ordered with my family. They decided to miss the x9 chicken nuggets off the order!? Why? And then had to stand at the checkout for a good 10 mins before I got the x9 chicken nuggets given to me! And then, I claimed a free Double cheeseburger quarter pounder off my free rewards, and the bun was completely soaked from the steam of the hot food! Not happy at all!

Really slow service for sit-in customers. Took over 25 mins to get our food. They tried to make good by offering free deserts, but even that didn't end well.

Worst maccies in the whole county. Avoid this site and drive 5 mins further to the Dodwells estate. Save yourself from the 30 min wait time.

A lovely and clean McDonald’s restaurant, I don’t use often but am happy every time I visit. Staff is always very polite and friendly, food is very nice and hot. Drive thru is available. Outside tables are available, quite a lot of parking spaces, including spaces for electric vehicles with chargers. Please be aware of parking time, think it’s 45 minutes.

Fats food not service poor and quite rude will give that one a miss

Missing items and food was cold due to delay in delivery. Rang uber and were completely useless and rude. Rang mcdonalds who would not help and told us to ring uber. Rang uber again and the same outcome. Completely and utterly poor customer service. Ripped off!!

I have had numerous deliveries through the McDonald’s app over the previous month for my family of 4 and on EVERY single occasion something has been missing! Weither it be the sausages from the pancake and sausage breakfast to a happy meal to a double quarter pounder, every damn time. I used to just let it go and contact Uber for a partial refund on the missing items but now that they have done that a few times they won’t do anymore refunds and McDonald’s have washed their hands of the responsibility claiming they weigh the bags before they go out to ensure the order is correct which I would argue seriously need to be addressed!! How can you missplace a double quarter pounder or 20 chicken nuggets???

Every time I have been to this McDonald's drive thru we're always told to park up and wait. After waiting there's always stuff from the order missing... tonight i was missing a sour cream and chive dip, so went in to ask for it, only for them to say they haven't got it in... won't be back

Food often looks 'thrown together'. Some of the staff are lovely, some seem like they would rather be anywhere but at work. Special request orders very often incorrect. Overall, food is yummy

Just visited the drive thru, they forgot our order after 20mins we ended up going inside to find no staff we had to go right into the kitchen entrance to actually see a member of staff who was unaware that there was a order pending… after we spoke to him he brought us cold food we asked for fresh fries which he did do but once we got home found that our order was missing a few nuggets…. Overall really poor service

The food is the food but Abby the customer care assistant is out of this world. I came in with my 3 daughters from school and we were greeted by Abby, straight away she asked how we was and interacted with my girls. Once we had finished she came over and asked how we all was and had further interaction with us. I work for a prestigious OEM and we don’t even get the service that Abby showed. One in a million and McDonald’s you have a very good concept with customer care and amazing member of staff.
