McDonald's in Herefordshire, County of

To say it was Easter Sunday the place was not overly busy and we had no problem parking in a disabled ♿ bay or finding a table. We used the automatic ordering option and requested table service. The food arrived in less than 5 minutes and was hot and good quality. The main recommendation I would make is to add more disabled parking bays as there are only 2 at present. It can be a bit chaotic when it's busy but on Sunday everything was good.

No customer interaction anymore just machines, went to till to ask a question and I was ignored. Food was sub par

Waited 40 minutes just to place our order at the drive through. Terrible and slow service. This must be the worst McDonald's I have ever visited

On April 16, 2025, I found that everything had a strong salt flavor. Eating a burger felt like it was infused with seawater, which was very off-putting.(awful)

i order a triple cheeseburger with extra items and i get NONE! this place has failed me 1 too many times. sigh 😔

We were sat waiting for 20 minutes after ordering on the app. The girl came over and said the number was 40 and we weren’t parked in number 40. No one was. None of them bothered to check. Not that it matters because we were parked in 41 which was our number. So either the machine which tells them the number people are parked at is broken, or they’re too stupid to read. 20 minutes!!!!! Was about to go in myself and ask for a refund. Attached screenshot to prove our number was in face 41, which is where we were parked! We had no sauces out of the 4 we should have had. The chips didn’t have salt either. So disappointing service and disappointing meal. I know it’s only maccies, but I expect quick food that is full of salt. She also walked away when we were talking to her. So bloody rude as well!

Soo busy, took forever to get food and get out of car park due to drive thru queue blocking exit. I visited at peak time to be fair.

Disgraceful service when the fries arrived they appeared to genuinely been kept in the fridge before delivery followed by a total disregard for the inconvenience caused to me as a customer… they don’t appear to be bothered by the hit & miss service they give… 4 times in a row now can’t get the order right, when you ring you told next time you get a free one!! No I paid for it the first time and didn’t get it, so no they is no free one!!!!!!

Ordered from here tonight. Half the food missing from our delivery. Made a complaint. And they refused to give refunds... This place is a joke.. Cant understand why the manager does not look in to why this keep happening 🤔...

ABSOLUTELY disgusting. My order was cold and wrong. The so called manager who refused to give me her name, blamed travel and rush hour. I live 6 mins away in a car and the order arrived at 19.20pm on a Saturday. When I pointed out this fact she said it was irrelevant. REALLY? When I asked about the incorrect order, she became rude and defensive ! I asked for her name for the second time, again she refused. I explained that if she would not provide this information the shift roster would and that I would be making a complaint for her attitude and lack of customer service. I have no issue with young adults working, however I do feel that McDonald's should employee experienced managers to sort out customer issues and not jumped up teenagers who are on a power trip. Very Poor service, manager and food. AVOID!!

Food takes forever. Also it was extremely cold in there. Like a fridge.

The most pathetic place to order from done mistake in ordering a few times, but this is a joke. I've ordered in total of £55 and I only received the drinks, only the drinks, how can someone be so incompetent to do the orders that way, careless.

The cleanest McDonald’s I’ve ever sat in chips were hot and friendly staff 10/10 if every McDonald’s was like this most people only leave a review when it’s bad so credit where due

I would not recommend this McDonald’s. There were several issues with several customers orders.

The staff aren't rude but look overworked and unsure of what is going on. From Drive Thru point of order we waited 18 minutes for our food. Standard menu items. We were given the incorrect order twice. We were not given anything for the long wait and all their errors. The worst Drive Thru we've been too. Plus the food quality is not great. Update: food quality much better however still waited for 14minutes.

car park badly laid out, drive through stops you getting to lots of the parking spaces and then you can’t get back out due to the queues for the drive through. Took ages to get our order. Ladies toilets small as usual but ok clean wise.

Terrible. Food across all Mac Donald's has gone massively down hill. The chips are like rubber and the big Macs are not as I remember. Ultra, ultra processed now. Never used to be that bad. In this MacDonalds in Hereford, you could be waiting longer than 30 minutes. Really poor at getting the food out. Not fast food. Weatherspoons gets out food in half the time 🫣

After ordering through just eat 2 hours went by with no delivery called Belmont mcdonalds to find out where it was to be told by a member of staff she could see our delivery but nothing had started to be prepared and no driver assigned even though they had taken payment I ask what can be done for her to tell me to call just eat I asked could I come pick the order up she said no this isn't how it works I will have to call just eat to get a refund this store is start ing to take the piss half the time they can't deliver a whole or or its cold customer service is a joke so now I've called just eat they are reviewing my complaint and will get back to me in a few days which does not solve my family not have any food and me being out of pocket

They had the wrong order the banana milkshake tasted like strawberry the TRIPLE cheese burger had 2 pattys only I’m disappointed you can’t even take an order

Almost everytime I go here they forget some food and they dont give sauces which are ordered. Also have had carbonated water instead of sprite before. Really poor service, new people working there every week seems needs checking.

Everytime I come here, always here for a long time. Recently, I was the only person in the restaurant and somehow still had to wait over 15 minutes for my food. It’s often cold and wrong and every time I try and ask staff they seem to be messing about in the kitchen.

The prices are good except the waiting time is horrendous

One of the slower McDonald's I've been in with disinterested staff, there is an extremely loud manager who seemed to enjoy barking at staff the whole time I was there. It disrupted my meal an I couldn't help but wonder if he spoke less and helped his crew more it might've been a smoother operation

Waited 20min for food to be delivered to collection point. And it was freezing cold.

Had a great experience the food i ordered came out hot and everything i ordered was also in the bag. And they even gave me sauce at no extra charge.. one of my best experiences.

Cheese McCrispy had no cheese and they forgot the chocolate orange desert.

Service and reliability have improved and the coffee has been hot and not room temp recently. It's up to around 70% success rate on my orders. They still regularly forget a single item. A burger last time and a 20 nugget share box the time before. Check you order on the way out if you get takeout. It tends to be when they forget it's takeaway and have to rebag it once it was already on the tray that something gets lost or forgotten. Last time I went. The changed my order from wait to collect then cleared it fifteen full minutes before I got my order.

Been belmont a few times , sometimes its a hit and sometimes its a miss, but this time food was good , quick and service was lovely , some idiot was complaining at the desk harrassing the workers and my friend got involved to try and deal with the situation. Hope those workers dont take it to heart and have a good rest of their shift. One of the workers cam were really lovely and friendly :)

As far as mcdonalds go this one is pretty decent. Busier In peak hours due to location.

No standards at all, yummy cold food

The very worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. The customer service was non existent- so slow and inaudible - the food was stone cold when It finally arrived and again when I complained and said I wanted it all cooked again so it was fresh and hot it came back cold and was not fresh. Absolute DISGRACE. Wait time so long for cold food not just me but 3 other people were not happy whilst waiting for my first order and 2 whilst waiting for the second who’s drive through orders were cold and incorrect ?? WHY ?? - gave up as had to go to a hospital appointment- they need to wake up and take some pride in their work and care for their customers. MCDONALDS you need to sort this out !

Just the worst. I don’t know what has happened to this place. The drive through queue is always so slow. Not a bit slow, like always 30 mins +. We have been sat waiting for nearly 45 minutes. Oh, and you can’t turnaround and leave the queue. Once you’re in the queue you’re stuck in the queue, turning around is impossible/not an option

Absolutely terrible, ordered VIA the mcdonald’s app. Food came delayed. The courier was walking up and down the street. When we received our food, we had parts of our order missing and all food was stone cold. Our drinks came spilt and all in the bag and mixed together. When we called up they told us to contact virtual help VIA the app. We done that but it told us to call up the restaurant. When we told them that, they got snappy down the phone and told us to contact the courier? We contacted the courier service and they said it’s an issue for Mcdonald’s to sort out. We called up again stating that’s what’s what and nothing. Absolutely useless. We’ve had issues before and service had been great, had everything replaced but today? Shocking. Business over there needs to give customers genuine reasons for moving them over to a parked bay after ordering from the drive thru. Happened to me twice. First time I had to go into the building because I felt it will be better to let my presence be known at which they served me immediately and then second time I explicitly stated the previous experience before waiting to appear patient and friendly. Had a few chats with two other customers waiting who got served before me as well as a good number of other customers using the drive thru who did not have to wait in the parked bay. All I ordered was there McMuffin and mini hash brown sharer box and that took me 40 minutes to get by guess what...walking to the counter...again! No remorse, no awareness to even ask me what I'm waiting for as I'd like to believe they have cameras in the parked bays. Mcdonalds, you've done me a favour by showing just how low your service can get. You've made me lose my patience for the first time in years and now you'll lose a customer for life. Doesn't hurt you but better know I'll be retelling this story for the rest of my life if I can prevent a potential customer coming your way. I hope that this message gets to anyone else thinking of going there to always consider that you are a few choices away from having a worse experience than the industry standard

Don't ever go here if you're in a hurry. Doesn't matter what day/time it is, there's bound to be a drive thru queue in what must be a contender for the country's slowest Mcdonalds. They're forever asking you to park up as well. Also, what's with the car park layout!?

Absolutely slow as molasses, over half hour stood waiting for our food. Everytime, you watch your order number go from preparing, to collect, but still no sign of your order, you number drops off the board entirely, still no call with your number, am eternity later, it's finally called. They're clearly clearing orders off to not impact their target and wait times

Doesn't matter if I order in shop on app or in drive through they always miss at least 2 things off thr orders. Staff need better training at reading the screens. Drive through takes about an hour so takes away the purpose of being fast food. It's always cold, always product missing. Then the workers get mad at you for complaining 🤦🏼‍♀️ need better training to read the screen better

Food slow, lost my order. Food cold and got order wrong.

Went back, for a treat for the kids. Not giving dips ruins the whole thing espechally for a child. Had to wait at the window a long time too. However the staff who served us were polite. Dips are part of the brand if someone orers a meal you need to make sure the dips are included! This could literally make my kid not eat the whole thing an If I didn't have any other sources in the car this would have been an issue

Ordered for delivery but neither of the drinks were covered properly, drinks spilt everywhere was given the bag dripping wet. Food cold. I know we ordered for delivery but have never had this problem anywhere else.

My food took 3 minutes to arrive from mcdonalds Thats 3 minutes driver picking it up and delivery really good thank you just eat however sadly for me the food was cold and not edable yet mcdonalds wanted to blame the driver and do nothing about it I'm sure it would go cold in three minutes

Tried the new philly stack and was very impressed.the fries were a bit of a let down as they were limp and nearly cold ,and the milkshake had very little flavour.

Drive thru, very busy food was good but forgot to put In an order of fries and our drinks were only just over half full. We didn't notice the fries missing until we got home.

Is much better now its had a refurbishment. Lots of teenagers about but we're no trouble the screens to order are very easy to use. over all good treat for our daughter once in while. highlight for her was the iPad at the table.

What happened today? Absolutely embarrassing, 40 minutes to receive our food nothing "fast" about it, took almost 10 minutes for someone to even appear at the till to ask where it was, knew we'd be making a mistake ordering 3 McFlurrys after and even they took 20+ minutes!, when our food did come out the chips tasted rubber, as if they'd been reheated during the wait and my partners burger had what looked like a literal bite mark in it, the kids like to come to the Belmont machines but i think we'll be avoiding it for a while, had a similar issue the visit before last. A customer also took it upon themselves to tell people who were just arriving not to bother as it was taking so long. Then, because of how poor the location is, it took forever to get out of the car park with massive queues at the drive thru, absolute shambles.

Staff ignore people in the store to focus on drive through orders. Orders usually arrive cold, incorrect and thirty minutes after you order them. It took me less time to order a collection at beefy boys and go get it, than it did to get to Macdonald's and order some plastic food. Its just not worth paying the cost of Macdonald's any more either cook at home or pay a little extra for a better made burger.

Ordered delivery a few times. One time they managed to put pickles in a burger that had a no pickles sticker on and only had 2 other items in the order. Recently took 2 hours to deliver despite living 2 streets away, nothing was sealed, cold food and the milk shake was half missing and melted. The driver said they asked them to replace it and they refused. Won't be using again and have deleted the delivery apps

Food was fresh, but this was due to sheer number of people there. The queue for the drive-thru is the worse I’ve ever seen, and waiting times inside aren’t much better. It was definitely clean inside, and staff were very polite.

I ordered some mc Donald’s via just eat By the time it got here, it was I cold we had to put it into the microwave. There was hair in one portion of the fries and in the Big Mac. The large fries were exceptionally small the size of a small portion On the just eat’s app it only said preparing order even when the driver arrived. Considering our order was £32 this was not acceptable. Shall not use Mac Donald’s again

I would say awful service but there was no service at all. we waited 35 minutes for 5 chicken selects to get nothing so instead we decided to leave. Absolutely mortified give my nuggets!

Good luck with getting anything from here! Twice I’ve been in the last month and I’ve had to wait so long I asked for refunds. Update: and this place NEVER improves. Terrible customer service. Rude management shouting from the kitchen that if a customer can’t be bothered to wait refund them. Waiting half hour for a simple order. Another man waited half an hour, asked four staff members where his order was only for them never to come back with an answer. I just asked how much longer and keep getting told it won’t be long. Fast food? You are joking right?

I ordered a LARGE coke and they had the audacity to put a medium in a slightly bigger medium and then a large cup to make it seem bigger might i add they didnt fully fill it and its knock off coke from aldi i aint aving this maccies and me food took a good 20 minutes but there was a hefty line so understandable im normally nice but i aimt aving this lad.
