Decent McDonald's. They actually seem to put some care in to what they produce rather than throwing it together from a great height (like other McDonald's)

This is a great McDonald’s, we have never had any issues here and tend to order quite regularly. The staff are nice and have offered vouchers when mistakes were made or orders were late etc

It's okay, that's as much as I can really say about this one! The main issue I find is the waiting time. Unsure if drive through customers get priority but we were waiting 15 mins for our food inside. Not really 'fast' food! It seems to be a problem in general at this location. They all take forever to get your food to you, even when it's not busy inside.

You know what to expect in a McDonalds so it is either meets expectations or fails, this one met ours, the milkshake machine was working but I wish when switching from Banana to Strawberry they’d run it through a little, it’s so off putting taking the first few sucks on a straw and having the wrong flavour to begin with. Service to the table was quick enough, staff were friendly, toilets were clean

Fast and efficient drive through. Especially as it is a particularly busy site

Missing items off order, and no way to contact them

Took our grandson for lunch after swimming. Food as usual. He missed the computer games consoles while we waited for our food!!

Called in on my way home from work.found the service polite and food was good.

If I wanted a medium I would ordered a medium drinks why are we half filling drinks?? And don’t reply saying to ask for them filled up more your staff already have attitude problem

As a McD, not too bad. Service inside seemed relatively quick. I've had worse. Very clean in the seating area and outside.

Again, missing food in the order, missing salad in the burgers came in at 22.50 order number was 86, missed the sides, missed an extra burger, second time this happens not going back

We went in today as a treat for our 4 year olds birthday and I asked a staff member if they had a balloon or anything that could make it a little more fun, they gave her a card and a free treat for after her happy meal. They came to wish her a happy birthday before we left and it was such a simple gesture that was so appreciated and made it her favourite part of her day. Thank you again

Ordered a meal for the family this evening just before an early morning start before holiday, thought I would try the double Big Mac with bacon and when got home and opened the burger to my surprise I saw as per the photo, which was missing the lid and looked like it had been on the floor, I spoke to the staff - Kate, who did refund the meal hence the 2* instead of 1*, but disappointed that a member of staff finds this acceptable to give someone this, I don’t think they would eat it, anyway rant over, I’m going to bed and going to enjoy our family holiday now, I hope this is seen and the adjustment s made before serving.

i swear on my life the staff here are trying to get a laugh out of being annoying because they screw up your order every time. you work at McDonald's how hard is your damn job. me and my friend ordered a wrap. they gave her a quarter pounder no bun in a side salad box? hello? what the hell? and then we ordered two wraps again another time, my friend said clearly "another one" of the wrap and we get charged like 2 pound extra cuz we ordered wrap of the day and we're like inflation this happened with the Freddos aswell god. sit down food arrives. we check our wraps because my friend wants no onion and lettuce. suddenly there's bbq sauce in there in the wrap?? since when? anywyas she goes up to the counter and asks them (she waits a bit before they actually come) and I look at the receipt. BBQ wrap. what the hell??? I go up to her and tell her and she's like "I said this wrap tho?" and I'm like "ikr brain dead cows with rabies istg" so they come swap out the wrap but no refund. GIVE ME MY £2 ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU NEED HEARING AIDS. anyways food is good staff are horrible they get my order wrong every single time and always forget the sauces. not to mention if you go and ask them about your wrong order or missing something, IT'S LITERALLY THERE? cant you just actually give me my order instead of being annoying ...I hope they get fired oh my god

staff are genuinely more brain dead then a monkey with down syndrome orderd a plain cheese double quarter pounder to get given a peice of chicken inbetween 2 buns instead and then when i sent it back i received a double quarter pounder with everything on it so it took me 3 TRIES js to get my right order i also orderd a coke with no ice and they still put ice in there genuinely an awful maccies let alone the fact i waited 40mins for all this

ordered a big mac as its my favourite burger, took about 3 bites and everything started moving and i couldnt even hold it properly, the sauce was everywhere, the top bun was smaller than the bottom one so i had to hold the patty and have sauce and lettuce all over my fingers. Staff were alright but messed up my boyfriends order 3 times, horrible, couldnt even give him what he wanted, he also asked for no ice in his drink yet still got ice. Not coming back again, honestly disgraceful, get better staff ASAP.

Only used the drive through , food great and it was very busy and we didn't wait that long for the order to be served.

It's a McDonald's, what more can one say! Good location on the A10 Ely bypass. If you want a quick burger or ice cream. My children like to touch screen ordering.

Friend of mine went to drive though on 23 May time was 4.30 ish came back to find order was wrong didn't get the right drink asked for strawberry milk shake was vanilla so instead of 2 vanilla got 3 vanilla shakes double cheese burgers 3 was order 2 shouldn't had gherkin all 3 had gherkin wrong size buns burgers was hanging out of bun should had 3 chips got 6 was cold the only got mcflurries correct

Nothing wrong with the food but I had to use the disabled toilet and was horrified by the state of the room and the bottom of the toilet bowl was disgusting. The bottom of the bowl had obviously not been cleaned for a long time as it had thick brown slime in it. It wasn't just one bad usage as the rest of the bowl was strangely spotless! The toilet roll was empty, and paper tissue bins overflowing. The date and time of my visit was 16th April 2024 at 8.30 am, so I would have expected the toilet to have been cleaned and ready for customers. I will not use it again.

First visit, very busy. Staff seem happy and we're very helpful... A goid McDonald's. double bacon and egg Mcmuffin. Never liked the potato 🥔 croquet thing, greasy and tastless but can cope if I eat it first.

Efficient and friendly staff! The food is always as expected; delicious and great value. Perfect location for a 'drive-thru' to take home to Littleport after a long day out!

Absolutely disgusted this morning to see two people claiming to managers berating a disabled lady with her support dog. This incident upset me so much, I will be taking it further. I am upset that I didn't step in to the ladies defence! I have looked at the Disability Laws in this country and you cannot turn away a support dog, it's illegal. Furthermore, it is unprofessional to berate a customer in front of other customers. You should be ashamed of yourselves, you're nothing but a pair of bullies!

They seemed to be having a bad time as receipt machine malfunctioning but also lots of orders missing items so not the greatest experience. Food seemed overly greasy compared to others I have been too.

Stopped in for a break as the A14 was closed and my journey home had taken me all over the place! It was busy enough, just bubbling along, and the place seemed full of farmers and people in wellies who all seemed quite pleased with their food. The staff were ace, I had a problem ordering through the app and they calmly talked me through everything and got it resolved in record time. I don't know if you've ever had to explain technology to a elderly relative but I always find it infuriating and the calm and friendly staff here got me fixed up in no time. Had my first chicken big mac which actually wasn't at all bad and..... Some of the best fries here! Look how golden and crisp they are! Well worth upgrading to a large portion.

It can be a bit hit and miss depending on the time of day you visit.

Located in a very cozy place, always fast service, convenient large parking. More recently, the number of seats in the center of the hall has been increased.

Very well placed McDonald’s with good service. Especially from Elliott who was a very helpful member of staff.

After placing my order at the drive through, I drive up to pay but there was no one there. I waited for about 5 minutes - no written sign to indicate what to do (wait or drive to the next window), so I drove to the next window only to be told that I'd have to drive round again and repeat the process. If you're going to operate a drive through please make sure all the stations are manned, or, at the very least, put a sign up on the window to say you'll be right back.

I ordered food for my starving family. The food never arrived and now they feel malnourished. This is shocking. I will be taking this further to court if it is not dealt with.

Always love this McDonald's. The staff are great and the atmosphere is nice. The food is always to a good standard too.

A very nice place to have a meal (as fast food places go). A light and airy decor with good music and a friendly feel. It's modern design works well and there is ample seating inside and out. Cycle storage can be found outside and there is a large, free car park. This branch has a drive-thru and, even at peak times, the service is quick. The digital ordering screens work surprisingly well, and, when they fail, staff are on hand to help. It's open very late, and food is very affordable. During the day, staff are chatty and approachable. Would highly recommend.

All way get the burgers wrong ask for plain and get onions like today or pickles

Food wise I can't fault it. The food is always hot and tasty and arrives to the table quickly. However, what really drags it down for me is a female member of staff, who quite frankly makes me dread coming in, and she seems to be there 24/7. The second I come through the door I'm greeted with "Hello sir. How are you today?" A little over the top but I can cope with that. Then almost as soon as your food arrives at the table, she comes over to ask "Hello sir, is everything ok for you?". I don't know love, you've barely given me a chance to have a chip. On the last occasion she came to my table 3 times because she couldn't remember if she'd already asked! Beyond annoying. I'm trying to have my breakfast and catch up on some work. Go away! Then she hovers around waiting for you to finish so she can take your tray for you. If you happen to take your own tray to the bin while she is on the other side of the restaurant she practically runs at you to take over. I appreciate the need for good customer service but this woman just takes the biscuit. Makes my mornings an absolute misery.

Very condescending young chap in the window with zero skills in customer service. Why was he even allowed to wear white shirt?. Also asked me to park and wait for my order while all space in waiting bays was already occupied and we had to do rounds around car park until we could park there. Certain items were not available but we have not been told at any point when ordering, paying or driving from window to window until someone brought part of our order once we finally found parking space. Food was already cold and we still had to wait for replacement items to arrive. Been to many McD restaurants and this one is one of the worst I've seen.

scammers!!! I drove half an hour one way to order takeaway food, after returning home it turned out that half of the contents of my order were missing!!!!!!!!

Typical mcdonalds food everyone knows. Ely branch though No matter when you go they ALWAYS forget something in your order always double check you bags before you leave and not when you get home.

Just check your order if take out, they'd missed something off. The service was still good and the staff smiling at 7 something in the morning on a Sunday hats off to them.

Really lovely girl serving on the window around 5pm today. Very friendly, polite and helpful.

By far the worst McDonald's we have ever had. The burger had barely nothing in. A sprinkle of nothing pretty much. Not what we ordered. We order the same burger every time and this was disappointing. Wont be coming back.

Would give 5 for food, but I asked for a Red hot spicy Mcchicken and recieved just a mcspicy

Every year worse, little quantity and the prices do not correspond to what you see in the table.

Again as I've said I train very hard and like to treat myself to an MDS once a month no harm in that. I love my vanilla thick shakes absolutely love them. Never had a bad experience in any MDS .shame you don't get free vanilla thick shakes I would be on it every day 😋

Orderd on 2 occasions , food never arrived , when contacted rude staff over the phone not giving their names. Never order trough them or UBER eats (those drivers are unable to find anything) at will you never be refunded.

Not bad for a McDonald’s tbh… the staff are friendly and helpful on the drive-through.. I do find that they sometimes can not cope in store when it’s busy but is what it is…

McDonald's the same as any other ordered a coffee ask the staff can I only have one shot in that coffee when I got it she gave me two shots and a espresso inside my latte so it was like licking a ashtray as it was so bitter I asked another staff member if I can have a different latte as it tasted horrible they made me another one what was has discussed 🤮🤢 asked for refund but only got refunded for a small cup and I ordered large

Went to Mcdonalds expecting to just get something that would fill me up, the young lady that served us was cheerful and polite, their service was quick and the food we received exceeded our expectations. The chips were not overly salted nor soggy- they were hot and tasted great. The milkshake was thick like they used to be and the chocolate flavour was strong. The burger (a stakehouse stack) ranks as one of the best burgers we have ever had. Best McDonald's experience to date by far.

Didn't get all of it order when I questioned and showed my order the lady was not interested and said there was nothing she could do, will not be going again

Absolute disgrace travel all the way there as it says open 24 hours .. 20 minutes to drive there to find out its closed. Annoyed is an understatement I will never come to this branch ever again. Stupid people waste of time and fuel. I'll be sending an invoice for my wasted journey. Sort yourselves out

I visit this mc Donald's weekly spending on average £50 to feed the family and e ery week at least one item is missing from the order but when you go up to the counter the item is always there are its always a burger they forget ?are they thinking you don't know ? So they can selling to some one else ? And you very rarely get sorry about that 😐

The Black Horse has a big reputation which we have enjoyed before but this time, not so good. I had a problem with my pork which was not followed up on. I left a comment on the web site but alas, no reply.

Could not park in front of restaurant to have food delivered to car as people had parked there and left cars and not using service

It was super busy - Saturday lunchtime - and we sat outside. We ordered coffees and fries using the app and they were delivered quickly. The coffee and fries were good and hot and the person who brought our order was friendly and asked if we wanted any sauces. The toilets were clean with toilet paper and everything was working. A really good stop off for refreshments.

Pit stop on my way to London in my Truck, pop in to buy coffee, didn’t have enough change, as the prices went up, I offer to pay 20pence by card, which I left in the truck, as I thought I had enough money to get a drink. T.K I believe she was the manager, she was fantastic and she offer to discount the price, top notch customer service. She safe me getting wet going back to the truck to get my card. Thank you TK. and also keep that smile too. I enjoy my nice hot drink.

The food was hot and fresh. It wasn't busy even though it was lunchtime. Unable to comment on the atmosphere because we went through the drive through.

Got to restaurant drive thru early(didn't want the breakfast menu) waited till the signs changed, 2 cars were in front.. ordered a big tasty meal & a big mac meal both burgers were stone cold fries were actually HOT but no monopoly stickers on our water bottles. Went back where all the problems were rectified quickly, burgers were still only warm at best definitely not freshly made for disappointed customers.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Whether it is Ely McDonald's, Uber or Deliveroo, they are incapable of delivering the right order, hot, to an address in Ely. The basics. One job to do. Just one. Food. Hot. Deliver. Incapable of all that. This might work in a big city, but in Ely it is a total and complete failure. I don't know if the McDonald's franchisee is just completely incompetent, or if it is Uber or Deliveroo. They always blame each other. I would dearly love to say, one more chance, but no more. Utterly useless, incompetent, failures to do their job. Mother is very disappointed.

Stop standing around gas bagging and get me my damn food. Service took far to long for something that is supposed to be fast food. When I finally got my food it looked awful no care was put into making my order. I'm glad to say that I will not be returning

Absolutely useless. Every time we order through McDelivery they get the order wrong. Every. Time. Mostly recently, they didn’t include my Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese in our order. When I went to their helpline I get directed to UberEats because they handle the delivery- but it wasn’t UberEats fault that the McDonalds staff didn’t put the burger in the bag. So I followed the complaint process and got a measly £2.39 flat fee refund for a £6.29 burger. So they’ve essentially robbed me of £4 with no way of getting it back. I will never ever order from them again because I’m tired of being disappointed and subsequently robbed of my money.
