McDonald's in East Cambridgeshire

Won’t be back, every time time I go in there app won’t work and they can’t even get an order right

Recently their cheeseburgers have been horrendous, the meat dry and oozing with ketchup (literally pouring out of the burger). I haven't had such bad cheeseburgers at any of the other McDonald's restaurants over the decades, what's going on? I also repeatedly received stale (borderline inedible) French fries. They really should reevaluate their standards.

Drive-through one thing I’d say, just check your order I did give you guys five stars But recently, you’re always missing stuff You never fill the boxes of fries up to the top I think with some training, you guys could be great. Like KFC new management, absolutely brilliant

i ordered a double cheeseburger only ketchup only mustard, halfway through eating my burger i tasted something odd so i looked at my burger and there were pickles! if i were allergic i could’ve died!! luckily, i’m not allergic so i just took them out but i am still outraged. this could’ve been prevented by a simple check at the order or even the sticker that was placed on top.

Always, always check your order from here if taking away. Missing items all the time (should take my own advice right). Again today we're down a chips and nuggets missing (didn't realize counting to 9 was difficult). 4 straws for the 2 meals though 🫠. Foods ok aside from one squashed burger

Always clean with quick service

Went for breakfast double sausage and egg no cheese and tea husband had pancakes loved them. Not many in it was early but nice and quite and very clean.

Pretty much your average McDonald's restaurant, the service was slightly slower than I would expect, but the food was warm and the restaurant and toilets were clean. We had no problems finding a car parking space when we went on a Sunday evening.

The staff were really nice and helpful. Especially this lovely lady Allison. She is the sweetest and really made sure that I had everything I needed when dining here!

Food missing from order AGAIN. Multiple times we have got home to find that food is missing from the order. Phone them up and the best they offer is a voucher for next time. So someone is sat being hungry whilst everyone else eats.

i got salmonella from the chicken nuggets there and was given no help from customer service. the staff were extremely rude and disrespectful to me. now i am currently suffering on the toilet because of there shitty chicken nuggets. absolutely unbelievable

Nice McDonalds efficient and good parking

Food was a bit hit and miss. Thrown together with drinks more ice than drink. Kept waiting in drive through for ages. Not impressed.

Disappointing when you have to pay extra for sauces and you're not given them. No receipt in bag so couldn't go back and complain.

Pleasant enough fast-food restaurant. Service is friendly, orders are frequently wrong, but staff happy to correct their errors. Reasonably clean.

Server tried giving me a drink I didn't order

This has got to be the first time I've stared 5 for McDonald's food was fresh no waiting behind about a million delivery motor bikes helmets staff where great and very quick with the order only if they were all like that's. .so well done

The staff seemed very obliging and friendly, but it was a bit of a shambles. Both toilets were closed for cleaning and everyone directed to the disabled loo so it wasn't in the best shape. Plenty of parking though and good wake up coffee. The sausage and egg muffin was surprisingly tasty, with herbs and spices to add some interest. An abundance of napkins.

Great place for a quick meal stop. Service was good, ideal for children and as all McDonald's place was well kept.

My data stopped working in the middle of an emergency and the manager (I think the guys in the white shirts are managers) helped me to connect to the WiFi, an outstanding man and a gentleman

Great Place , I love breakfast especially but perfect for lunch and dinner too. I tried tea from the breakfast menu but not up to the standard , so never try it again.

I always check the bag to make sure the food we have payed for is in there. I didn’t know I have to open the burger up and see if they put egg and cheese in a sausage and egg mcmuffin! Not very impressive

I don’t usually do this and do reviews but I ordered a drink was drinking until i opened the lip and there was a bug and still alive it could have been more but I already drank most of it

They are always the same. This time the app wasn't working and the queues were irritatingly long.

Decent McDonald's. They actually seem to put some care in to what they produce rather than throwing it together from a great height (like other McDonald's)

This is a great McDonald’s, we have never had any issues here and tend to order quite regularly. The staff are nice and have offered vouchers when mistakes were made or orders were late etc

It's okay, that's as much as I can really say about this one! The main issue I find is the waiting time. Unsure if drive through customers get priority but we were waiting 15 mins for our food inside. Not really 'fast' food! It seems to be a problem in general at this location. They all take forever to get your food to you, even when it's not busy inside.

You know what to expect in a McDonalds so it is either meets expectations or fails, this one met ours, the milkshake machine was working but I wish when switching from Banana to Strawberry they’d run it through a little, it’s so off putting taking the first few sucks on a straw and having the wrong flavour to begin with. Service to the table was quick enough, staff were friendly, toilets were clean

Fast and efficient drive through. Especially as it is a particularly busy site

Took our grandson for lunch after swimming. Food as usual. He missed the computer games consoles while we waited for our food!!

Again, missing food in the order, missing salad in the burgers came in at 22.50 order number was 86, missed the sides, missed an extra burger, second time this happens not going back

We went in today as a treat for our 4 year olds birthday and I asked a staff member if they had a balloon or anything that could make it a little more fun, they gave her a card and a free treat for after her happy meal. They came to wish her a happy birthday before we left and it was such a simple gesture that was so appreciated and made it her favourite part of her day. Thank you again

Ordered a meal for the family this evening just before an early morning start before holiday, thought I would try the double Big Mac with bacon and when got home and opened the burger to my surprise I saw as per the photo, which was missing the lid and looked like it had been on the floor, I spoke to the staff - Kate, who did refund the meal hence the 2* instead of 1*, but disappointed that a member of staff finds this acceptable to give someone this, I don’t think they would eat it, anyway rant over, I’m going to bed and going to enjoy our family holiday now, I hope this is seen and the adjustment s made before serving.

i swear on my life the staff here are trying to get a laugh out of being annoying because they screw up your order every time. you work at McDonald's how hard is your damn job. me and my friend ordered a wrap. they gave her a quarter pounder no bun in a side salad box? hello? what the hell? and then we ordered two wraps again another time, my friend said clearly "another one" of the wrap and we get charged like 2 pound extra cuz we ordered wrap of the day and we're like inflation this happened with the Freddos aswell god. sit down food arrives. we check our wraps because my friend wants no onion and lettuce. suddenly there's bbq sauce in there in the wrap?? since when? anywyas she goes up to the counter and asks them (she waits a bit before they actually come) and I look at the receipt. BBQ wrap. what the hell??? I go up to her and tell her and she's like "I said this wrap tho?" and I'm like "ikr brain dead cows with rabies istg" so they come swap out the wrap but no refund. GIVE ME MY £2 ITS NOT MY FAULT YOU NEED HEARING AIDS. anyways food is good staff are horrible they get my order wrong every single time and always forget the sauces. not to mention if you go and ask them about your wrong order or missing something, IT'S LITERALLY THERE? cant you just actually give me my order instead of being annoying ...I hope they get fired oh my god

staff are genuinely more brain dead then a monkey with down syndrome orderd a plain cheese double quarter pounder to get given a peice of chicken inbetween 2 buns instead and then when i sent it back i received a double quarter pounder with everything on it so it took me 3 TRIES js to get my right order i also orderd a coke with no ice and they still put ice in there genuinely an awful maccies let alone the fact i waited 40mins for all this

ordered a big mac as its my favourite burger, took about 3 bites and everything started moving and i couldnt even hold it properly, the sauce was everywhere, the top bun was smaller than the bottom one so i had to hold the patty and have sauce and lettuce all over my fingers. Staff were alright but messed up my boyfriends order 3 times, horrible, couldnt even give him what he wanted, he also asked for no ice in his drink yet still got ice. Not coming back again, honestly disgraceful, get better staff ASAP.

Convenient stop on the A10 for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a snack

Only used the drive through , food great and it was very busy and we didn't wait that long for the order to be served.

Drive thru is always quick and accurate

It's a McDonald's, what more can one say! Good location on the A10 Ely bypass. If you want a quick burger or ice cream. My children like to touch screen ordering.

Friend of mine went to drive though on 23 May time was 4.30 ish came back to find order was wrong didn't get the right drink asked for strawberry milk shake was vanilla so instead of 2 vanilla got 3 vanilla shakes double cheese burgers 3 was order 2 shouldn't had gherkin all 3 had gherkin wrong size buns burgers was hanging out of bun should had 3 chips got 6 was cold the only got mcflurries correct

Nothing wrong with the food but I had to use the disabled toilet and was horrified by the state of the room and the bottom of the toilet bowl was disgusting. The bottom of the bowl had obviously not been cleaned for a long time as it had thick brown slime in it. It wasn't just one bad usage as the rest of the bowl was strangely spotless! The toilet roll was empty, and paper tissue bins overflowing. The date and time of my visit was 16th April 2024 at 8.30 am, so I would have expected the toilet to have been cleaned and ready for customers. I will not use it again.

First visit, very busy. Staff seem happy and we're very helpful... A goid McDonald's. double bacon and egg Mcmuffin. Never liked the potato 🥔 croquet thing, greasy and tastless but can cope if I eat it first.

Absolutely disgusted this morning to see two people claiming to managers berating a disabled lady with her support dog. This incident upset me so much, I will be taking it further. I am upset that I didn't step in to the ladies defence! I have looked at the Disability Laws in this country and you cannot turn away a support dog, it's illegal. Furthermore, it is unprofessional to berate a customer in front of other customers. You should be ashamed of yourselves, you're nothing but a pair of bullies!

They seemed to be having a bad time as receipt machine malfunctioning but also lots of orders missing items so not the greatest experience. Food seemed overly greasy compared to others I have been too.

Stopped in for a break as the A14 was closed and my journey home had taken me all over the place! It was busy enough, just bubbling along, and the place seemed full of farmers and people in wellies who all seemed quite pleased with their food. The staff were ace, I had a problem ordering through the app and they calmly talked me through everything and got it resolved in record time. I don't know if you've ever had to explain technology to a elderly relative but I always find it infuriating and the calm and friendly staff here got me fixed up in no time. Had my first chicken big mac which actually wasn't at all bad and..... Some of the best fries here! Look how golden and crisp they are! Well worth upgrading to a large portion.

Located in a very cozy place, always fast service, convenient large parking. More recently, the number of seats in the center of the hall has been increased.

Very well placed McDonald’s with good service. Especially from Elliott who was a very helpful member of staff.

After placing my order at the drive through, I drive up to pay but there was no one there. I waited for about 5 minutes - no written sign to indicate what to do (wait or drive to the next window), so I drove to the next window only to be told that I'd have to drive round again and repeat the process. If you're going to operate a drive through please make sure all the stations are manned, or, at the very least, put a sign up on the window to say you'll be right back.

I ordered food for my starving family. The food never arrived and now they feel malnourished. This is shocking. I will be taking this further to court if it is not dealt with.

A very nice place to have a meal (as fast food places go). A light and airy decor with good music and a friendly feel. It's modern design works well and there is ample seating inside and out. Cycle storage can be found outside and there is a large, free car park. This branch has a drive-thru and, even at peak times, the service is quick. The digital ordering screens work surprisingly well, and, when they fail, staff are on hand to help. It's open very late, and food is very affordable. During the day, staff are chatty and approachable. Would highly recommend.

All way get the burgers wrong ask for plain and get onions like today or pickles

Food wise I can't fault it. The food is always hot and tasty and arrives to the table quickly. However, what really drags it down for me is a female member of staff, who quite frankly makes me dread coming in, and she seems to be there 24/7. The second I come through the door I'm greeted with "Hello sir. How are you today?" A little over the top but I can cope with that. Then almost as soon as your food arrives at the table, she comes over to ask "Hello sir, is everything ok for you?". I don't know love, you've barely given me a chance to have a chip. On the last occasion she came to my table 3 times because she couldn't remember if she'd already asked! Beyond annoying. I'm trying to have my breakfast and catch up on some work. Go away! Then she hovers around waiting for you to finish so she can take your tray for you. If you happen to take your own tray to the bin while she is on the other side of the restaurant she practically runs at you to take over. I appreciate the need for good customer service but this woman just takes the biscuit. Makes my mornings an absolute misery.

scammers!!! I drove half an hour one way to order takeaway food, after returning home it turned out that half of the contents of my order were missing!!!!!!!!

Very condescending young chap in the window with zero skills in customer service. Why was he even allowed to wear white shirt?. Also asked me to park and wait for my order while all space in waiting bays was already occupied and we had to do rounds around car park until we could park there. Certain items were not available but we have not been told at any point when ordering, paying or driving from window to window until someone brought part of our order once we finally found parking space. Food was already cold and we still had to wait for replacement items to arrive. Been to many McD restaurants and this one is one of the worst I've seen.
