Lovely lady, I think she was called Sandra, who was more than happy to help me order my food even though she was busy doing another job. Very helpful and chatty a credit to McDonald's

Dropped in for a quick easy breakfast before work for convenience and time. The double sausage and egg muffin was inedible. My app wasn't loading for Redhouse, so went straight to the drive through. Waited a short time at theb2nd window, so was expecting fresh hot food. What I was served was inedible. Either someone has gone to the trouble of scraping the burnt bits off, or half the patty burnt to the grill...

Waited over 15 minutes for a breakfast and drinks when the food came was cold looked horrendous more bothered about serving delivery just eat et cetera horrendous service meant to be fast food more like slow and awful food

Twice now I've ordered a Smokehouse McCrispy. Twice now they've given me the same beef burger. No customer service willing to answer a phone call. Do the staff not know their own burgers? Honestly if I coulf leave a 0 star review I would.

I've tried to give this place a chance. Absolutely useless. Multiple wrong orders. Sometimes lucky if anyone takes your order. Everytime we go, something is wrong. Stick to the McDonald's further up York road.

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BAG! Very disappointing experience – wrong order, poor customer service I visited McDonald’s around midnight and placed an order through the drive-thru. I paid £12.98 for a McSpicy (on its own) and a McPlant large meal with Fanta. Everything seemed fine at first, so I drove home without checking the bag. It wasn’t until later that I realised the order was completely wrong. My girlfriend, who I had ordered the McSpicy for, saw the contents of the bag and assumed I mistakenly got her a McCrispy instead. I told her I said twice when I ordered mcspicy as the person taking my order didn’t hear me the first time I said. So she ate the burger because we didn’t want to go back all the way just for one burger. But when I went to grab my burger, I realised that instead of a Mcplant, I got a double cheeseburger – something I didn’t order at all. Even worse, the receipt inside the bag wasn’t mine – it belonged to someone else and was for £10, not the £12.98 I paid. Their order was placed just one minute after mine, so I can only assume our orders got mixed up at the drive-thru. I returned to the restaurant to explain the issue, bringing the incorrect receipt and showing proof of my transaction. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the staff member at the window questioned us multiple times, making us feel like we were lying or trying to scam them. The manager was called over, and although we clearly explained and showed the receipt and payment, we were still looked at with suspicion. To make things worse, the manager refused to replace the McCrispy with the McSpicy – even though it was their mistake – just because it had already been eaten. But it was only eaten under the assumption that I had ordered it. I didn’t drive all the way back just to scam someone out of a single burger – I just wanted the meal I paid for. On top of that when she asked me what drink I want I said Fanta with no ice and she wanted to give me the drink I had given them back which was Fanta zero (medium) even tho I said my meal was large. This entire experience left a really bad taste. Not only did I waste time and fuel coming back to fix a mistake that wasn’t mine, but I was also treated with distrust and disrespect. Mistakes happen, but it’s the way you handle them that matters – and this was handled incredibly poorly. I will definitely think twice before returning.

Please train your staff! Any other "non monopoly restaurant" would have to! The level of idiocy is incredible! The daft questions that they ask, the mumbling... Terrible!

waiting forever for food workers doing nothing

Absolute rubbish service, some customers waiting 30mins for an order, supposed to be fast food, by far the worst McDonald's in doncaster.

Technically my local McDonald's. Always friendly staff who go out of their way for you. And it's McDonald's, the food is as expected but quick usually. A good McDonald's, which is quite rare.

Disabled toilet been missing a lock for at least 2 weeks +...... Always busy, so usually very slow, never anywhere to park, as just eat drivers usually hog car spaces.

Absolutely disappointing experience with burgers, fries and flurries. This store is blatantly looting customers by not giving the original quantity that they’re supposed to. When I ordered, they gave me less than what was clearly advertised. When I raised the issue, they arrogantly said, “You’ll get whatever we provide.” But here’s the real twist — I told them I also work for the same franchise at a different store, and guess what? Suddenly, they brought out the correct quantity, without any argument. That just proves they knew they were cutting corners and trying to cheat regular customers who wouldn’t know better. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and gives a bad name to the brand. If you’re planning to eat here, double-check what you’re being served — they clearly won’t be honest unless you call them out.

Music was way to loud you had to shout to speak. Food was just sitting around behind till getting cold. Ours came after 20 minutes. Not hot crammed it all in a Small bag.(3 Meals) she put bag down on counter and walked off. Had to reach over to get drink holder. All staff messing about dropping food orders on floor and not cleaning up the mess. Only one lass seamed to be doing her job and taking orders out to cars. One chap came In to complain his food was cold and he was told what do you want me to do about it. Definitely not one I will call into on my way back south again

Given that this Mcdonalds was recently shut down and then 'new improved' opened again...., I truly feel they would of been better off staying closed. The staff are very hit and miss in service levels. It is VERY obvious some of staff have never cooked or served hot food in their lives. The presentation on food etc is similar to a tornado going through..., did it hit you (your order) or not?? 🙀 I'm yet to have a big mac that doesnt look like they either made it from frankenstien parts or just thrown in the box and shook it like a maraca. It's not a martini people!! Fries are just as bad..., was it dip and serve floppy or were they actually cooked before being served stone cold? 🤔 Who knows?!?! 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️ What ever the reason for the presentation etc being bad, I think these staff need full retraining and the manager and shift managers fired. A team is only as good as its leader...., and apparently the leaders in this mcdonald's have no idea how to lead. 🤦‍♀️ Eat from here at your own risk...., just saying. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️👎 Mcdonalds Redhouse....., you are the weakest link...., good bye. ☠️

One of the better branches I've been to. Service was way better than most, order was correct first time and everything was hot, but fresh hot, not like re-heated hot! Tracey went above & beyond for us

A bit cold and the counter staff are rarely visible but reliable and consistent food.

Considering the day of the week and the time of the evening, the drive through was so slow!!

6 staff smoking on benches whilst cars que at drive thru, taking orders yet not got the stock leading to kids being upset manager Abe couldn't care less and blames app for staff failing

Order food inside, and the wait was very long. The order was only breakfast muffin and porridge. I was the only one waiting for a order inside and it still took over 15 minutes. Also, while waiting, they severed staff member and processed order straight away for them.

The food is alway fine the problem. Is the staff don't read, I order with the app and use click and serve as I'm disabled and it's hard to walk and they always miss items off the order. Sadly it has happened everytime we have been here so if your able bodied it's no issue but if your disabled make sure you are able to go inside because your most likely going to need to if they could sort this issue it would be perfect.

Lovely breakfast early Sunday morning after work. I had the the double bacon and egg mcmuffin with extra bacon, hash brown and a cup of tea. Lovely

Since this Mcdonald been refurbished what a total let down this branch has become to the McDonald's name tonight thought we'd give it another try only been waiting 40 minutes for service and still not got food AVOID THIS MCDONALD NOT WORTH THE WAITING TIME NOT FOR THE FOOD TO BE COLD AND A MASSIVE WASTE OF MONEY

Not the best of service in my opinion.

Just back off holiday called for a quick tea, ordered big mac and chicken burger. Chicken burger was piping hot my big mac was like warm asked for another one that also cold, asked for another pretty much the same absolutely disgusting. These should at least be kept hot, I know they bulk cook but still need to be hot to enjoy and there not a cheap meal!! Should of just got my money back tbh.

Did drive thru, burgers and bun overdone despite it being beginning of service, milkshakes not available and everyone was having to park up and wait for their orders including us. Heard a staff member comment it was busy as they expected, so why weren't management more prepared with sufficient staff to cope.

Service was very slow and poor. Food was no better either. Won't be going back to that one.

Every time you order from here there are things missing from the order, whether it’s for delivery or click and collect. They staff are so unhelpful and refuse to rectify their mistakes. They also never have the milkshakes available.

Possibly the slowest McDonalds in the country even when there’s little people in the building or drive through. No self awareness of how bad they are as a team.

The milkshakes seem to have changed and don't have any ice cream in it was horrible wouldn't give it a dog the burgers are alright but don't look anything like the pictures in store also can be a gamble sometimes to get right items in order as ordered plain burgers and had all the crap I didn't Want

Tried to order McDonald's tonight through Uber. There's are several reviews saying you treat the drivers really poorly and considering a driver arrived at McDonald's and then cancelled the collection 3 TIMES!!! I think it's pretty evident they're not exaggerating. What the hell are you doing to them?!?!? After nearly an hour and a half of watching 3 delivery drivers drive to McDonald's and then disappear my order was cancelled. I will not be ordering from this McDonald's again. And to think I was already wondering if it was a good idea to order because you never get the order right and it always turns up cold.

Called at 3am for food and they turn grills for cleaning for breakfast that starts at 5am. 2hours to clean grills seems very excessive

First meal from a McDonald’s in over 7 years. The server was stressed and disinterested, my order was missing the fries, which I didn't discover until I'd driven a couple of miles to my friends house. The burger and vanilla shake were fine. Its McDonald’s... Will I go again, probably not unless I am out of other options like today.

I put in the wrong address by accident the driver said he was going to sort it to get to the right address but instead of sorting it he took my food and ate it would not order from these as they are very unprofessional with handling situations.

Very quiet on a Monday morning, very clean, and efficient service.

Drive Thru took what felt like forever. I’m not sure inside was any better as the car park was also rammed with some cars on the paving. The food was okay, nothing out of the ordinary for McDonald’s.

Ordered from here an hour ago to find no chicken select box in the bag, how difficult is it to read a piece of paper with the order on and place it in a bag. Absolutely outrageous.

Hand driers wasn't working when visited

The manager of kitchen provoking drivers and making insults that they have no manners because they want to pick the order up. Also teaming up with other staff workers to jump on you and gaslight you that you were shouting at them even that there were 3 different drivers that would confirm nobody shouted at them. Rude staff and management. They think they are above you so they can teach you manners while lacking any manners themselves.

Food takes ages, because the staff are laughing and joking behind the counter. Bit rude when the que is out the door. Food not hot enough, took chips back to swap for hot ones, new ones were the same. Not good enough

Arrived at 4.39am for some food after work to be told I can't have beef burgers because they switched the grill off for breakfast! They are not supposed to stop selling burgers until 5am this is what's advertised and they shouldn't be allowed to waste people's time switching off this early before advertised time.

25 minutes wait for a fkin coffee and a cookie with only two orders before, what a joke!!

Its basically McDonalds so nothing special. However I've found the speed of the service has slowed down and I've had a few issues with the drivthru so recommend sitting down inside.

Terrible getting worse by the day..gone are the days when you pay at 1 window and collect at another..20 min wait for food last time I used this place only go now because of kids..theres too many just eat deliveroo ect ect orders .why not just build a place specifically for these type of orders....would solve the problem

If I could give it zero I would! I ordered delivery eta 25-40 minutes at 10am for a breakfast. Kept getting delayed until 12pm became the eta, I finally just cancelled the order after already waiting an hour for a basic breakfast meal. Since it has been ‘done up’ the service is shocking both in store and delivery. EXTREMELY slow, poor quality food and usually the wrong order. Take your money elsewhere would be my advice

This branch has just been altered. This seems to be to accommodate all the Uber and Just eats people and at the expense of customer seating. Not an improvement.

Went to McDonalds Redhouse interchange. Looks like just refurbished. Very clean and the staff really happy and pleasant. Won ice cream on monopoly power play. Very nice, too. Thanks.

Over priced utterly crap junk food thrown together in a box and swimming with grease. Even worse when I checked ingredients to my chicken selects they only contain 50% chicken...what is the other 50%?

Charged incorrectly for the food I ordered, they forgot to put the cheese on our sausage and egg muffins, and they are a lot smaller than they used to be . I won't be going again, I would rather do without breakfast.

Best stop off the A1 in west Yorkshire for a wee and a real meat burger. But it is getting too popular and the queues are getting longer slowing down service. This is not helped by the fact that they prioritise deliveroo orders over customers at the branch.

Awful place after renovations. Restaurant now half the size. Tables crammed closer together. Food like warm at best. Burgers look like they assembled by a blind man via catapult from across the kitchen. Staff not bothered at all.

It lost its soul after the chield-friendly disaign was replaced with the new, repulsive look. It's probably what they wanted to achieve so that people don't feel welcome to stay, but just eat and go away.

Since the new refurbishment I don't know what's happened to the service but you only ever see one member of staff at the counter and the meals take forever.

We ordered for four people. One has a dairy allergy one has an egg allergy. We ordered a plain burger and it came with extra pickles and onions and sauce and a bite out of the bread bun. We ordered two chicken nuggets x6 and they didn't even get put in. Instead we had a chicken burger with mayo on (egg allergy) We had a vegan burger and it was burnt, looked like it had been on the hot plate all day and the bread bun was burnt. We ordered two sprites and they came as soda water?? How? as I wasn't even aware they sold soda water?! One chip wasn't cooked and I still can't work out how just one chip weren't cooked out of the whole pack. I can't work out how they can get so much if the order wrong. I've had one or two things wrong before and thought its not worth the petrol to go back but the whole order was disgusting and inedible

If I could go lower on reviews I would. I work at maccies and the area i work in doesnt do this. This is just disgusting. 1st of I ordered thru the mcdelivery app I had 2 orders come to my partners house. Both I have no words the food that I ordered were stone cold, the ice creams look old and melted, I ordered strawberry shake got either a banana or vanilla, the banana shake I bought for myself tasted like mold it doesn't even have a slight banana taste it's disgusting. I know have to to thru the user app to get my money back because this is not what I've asked for. My partner is putting a review up to because he's not happy with what he ordered. Not ordering from this place again it's shocking.

mate what a scamm we ordered a delivery with the most simple things so tell me why our fries being 2 regulars and one large the portions were the size of a small fry. tell me why they were FREEZING when they arrived. and tell me why a sharing box of garlic dippers was missing. and a cookie. thats nearly a tenner weve spent and havent got the things. and we dont even get a refund we only get a code to get those things next time were in?? like i ever wanna go back in?? sort it out mate

we prefer red houses as 2 staff member always goes above and beyond for customers and is always polite courteous and cant do enough for you...tracy and mandy are the best staff there .
