McDonald's in Ipswich

Whoever was the manager on the evening of 29/11 is very rude and aggressive to woman. Also a hair was found in out “caramel” McFlurry which contained no caramel.

We are local to whitehouse. I can count on one hand how many times the food has been hot and complete, every-time we go there, they either forget something or it’s stone cold. The ones in Colchester were much better !!

Awful service made considerably worse by Harry who was rude and somewhat aggressive. Avoid if at all possible

Great service, was busy, tables needed a clean, but overall happy

At the Buy road retail park and next shop on list was Asda, so feeling hungry after all that retail therapy and walking around thought McDonald's will do well before tackleing Asda, ordered at the counter with Cash very helpful and polite staff member attended to our hunger needs, 5 minute wait and food was delivered to our table piping hot and delicious.

Chips were a bit cold, but ok and fast service

Waited for one hour and 40 minutes for food Two burger & chips and two milkshakes. when it did arrive it was stone cold. This is not the first time this has happened from this McDonald. But I can safely say this will be the last .

Absolutely appalling had to get another big mac because they didn't give us the mean,had to get chips because they forgot them they were cold as we got them didn't get caramel on my CARAMEL frappe will not eat here again disgraceful don't recommend this bad place also ordered hot chocolate waited in line for 14 minutes then got it took 5 minutes to make bad place and very dirty👎🏻

The service is rubbish . Food cold long wait. My orders have always been wrong . Won’t be going there again. Got really bad over the last 2 years

Always busy, regularly screws up my order and they've removed the Click and Pay service where they used to bring your order to your car. Overall? Meh.

Overcharged me then openly lied to me when I queried it then the manager had the audacity to tell me it's the way I ordered.

Went to the drive-thru the car in front. Couldn't make its wind up what he was having so away at about 15 minutes but after that ordered my food got to the window paid. Went to the other window. Got my food cheesy stack burger with onion was a bit of a letdown just didn't taste of nothing. Just cheese. That's a shame. Never mind 8 out of 10

I would give 0 as I have not had a single order correct and when they cancel an order you wait a month for a refund. If they get it wrong on a delivery you then have to either go get your replacement or put up with it. Funny you pay extra for the delivery surely that means you can’t get it otherwise you would go get it in the first place.

Ordered a meal deal including coffee plus chicken nuggets and a coffee. Only received one coffee. When queried and showing receipt was made to pay for another coffee!

This McDonald's is shocking! happy meals served without the main just chips. Even missing a whole meal all together with adult meals. They can never give sauce even when you pay extra on the app. I find if your order is more than three meals they can't function properly and guarantee that you will get it all... This is the same whether I'm in store or using the app

Order food, and once again, it was wrong. Rarely do we have a McDonald's, but it seems that this one short supply what has been ordered and paid for. This time, 3 and double cheese burgers were ordered with no pickle, wrapped in the correct paper, but there was only a single burger in them and pickles.

It was terible they missed 4 cheeseburgers 4 chicken mayos and 9 chicken selects don't know who packed the bag must of been stevie wonder or have severe learning difficulties I don't know how you miss out 9 chicken selects without being dropped a couple times head first down the stairs what a pack of jagaloons

Dreadful service, refused to take my order so had to use the app, still waited about 20 minutes for it to be ready. Toilets were disgusting and filthy. Even worse than the other McDonald's I've been to in Suffolk, and that's saying something.

Decent McDonald's! Would be nice to see more plant based options or the option to have dairy free cheese on burgers!

Took someone through drive through they had already ordered breakfast on phone with hot chocolate, gave me the bag of food which gave friend, went to get hot chocolate to pass over, workers not put lid on properly as friend went to get drink drink went all over everywhere. burnt us both my hand and car got brunt. Not wvwn a sorry from workers. Check your lids people.

So popped in today for breakfast needed the loo as I'm disabled went to use loo nearly threw up was disgusting went to mens loo just as bad and really smelt bad put me off ordering a breakfast drove home manager was on his phone doing nothing talking away not bothered.another customer told the lobby lady about the loos and her response was "oh really" from that alone I'm guessing she doesn't clean much.will be going to another mcdonald's in future

Lovely girl at window where you collect your meal, food was lovely apart from cold chips, bit replaced with no quibble.

I've always had minor problems with this McDonald's but this is just not right. I ordered through my McDonald's app and I ordered a chocolate milkshake, it was sealed in the bag when it got delivered but it was half empty and practically like water. If it was made like that then why send it out!

...And Again come to the worst restaurant, placed my order, and checked my order and once more it was wrong and incomplete... complaining with a blonde skinny manager (Easy to identify due professional stupidity) her reply was if you're not happy don't Come back. This wasn't very professional from someone who's taking orders and managing a place with clients , from me it was the last time and also the unhygienic of the restaurant due to the rats that are outside in the drive thru. Not advised to ANYONE..... DONT PUT YOUR KIDS AT RISK !!! OFSTED HIGH ALERT SHOULD INVESTIGATE.

Rubbish service ordered on the McDonald’s app are order had no double quarter pounder no large fries no dip no straws for are drinks, I called to make a complaint no answer kept trying no answer this was Sunday I called a back on Tuesday and as it had been more than 48 hours they wouldn’t do a thing about its an ABSOLUTE JOKE!!! McDonald’s that we paid for food we didn’t even receive now we cannot have a money back!! where dose it say you have a time limit to complain???? Take my money don’t deliver my food witch was the worst thing then keep my money for food you never even delivered thanks McDonalds!!!!! Great service that!!!!

Most disappointed that none of our burgers have gherkins in. What is going on. No milkshakes one week no gherkins a couple of weeks later. It seems every time I go something is missing. Not good enough McDonald’s sort it out.

Absolutely shocking! Will never use again, waited 3/4 of an hour sitting in carpark for basic cheese burger and fries and a bacon chicken burger with fries customers after us were being served OK us in the carpark were just totally forgotten about! DISGUSTING 😡

OK - I'll admit I absolutely detest these fast food outlets whatever brand they are. Only put up with awful touch screens to order two McFlurries which in my opinion is the only good thing about McD apart from the coffee. Got our ice creams and sat peacefully in our van in the sun watching the never ending stream of cars queuing for double whatevers. I think the young people working there need a medal. Wouldn't touch the food - hate the automated screens which just adds another impersonal touch to the whole experience. You wait until they've got a lot of AI bots dishing out the food & all the workers are hidden from view....... Bah humbug etc...

Over the last year or two this place has gone from bad to worse. Not only did I have to drive twice through the drive through as items were forgotten at fault of the staff. Halloumi fries cold and gone hard clearly been sat there ages!! Chips cold and soggy. Quarterpounder with cheese, don't even get me started! And the drink I had yo come back round for as the fobbed me a medium even though I'd asked for a large, has had the winning sips taken off it already!! The staff looked miserable!! So what was supposed to be a little treat for the family has turned in to a massive waste of time. Personally will be avoiding this place now!

Went on way to and from holiday. Was empty on way there and service/staff were perfect. Way home was busy and seem to struggle with the amount of customers however balloon maker entertained the kids who enjoyed it.

Like most McDonald's now it is over priced, poor quality and served by poorly trained people. I used to work at McDonald's myself and standards have tumbled. I recently had a McMuffin served with paper from the bun toaster. Pancakes missing sausage and a toffee latte minus the toffee. No butter on the muffin so it was as dry as the Sahara. I've given up giving them second chances or walking back in to resolve issues. Now going to Tim Hortons for a much better experience.

Use this drive thru fairly regularly. If you use the left hand lane of an evening you'll be greeted with a flock of rats around the bin store while you are waiting to order. My little boy no longer calls it McDonald's, but now calls it "the rat place". Phoned them to discuss this situation and they said there are no rats, went back a few days later and they are still there. Also, problems when going for breakfast, I have an egg allergy, the last 3 times I've been, I've ordered with no egg, the sticker saying no egg is on the item, and there's an egg in the muffin. This used to be the best McDonald's in the area but it's standards seem to be falling sharply, and it's sad to see. Don't think I'll be visiting "the rat place" again for a while Update: phoned and spoke to someone at the store who said there were no rat problems and they had been dealt with. Yesterday went back through the drive thru and saw the rats are still there, so spoke to the staff at the window who said the problem has been dealt with. Would really like to speak to a manager about this issue?

Great if you want to spend your evening sat for 45 mins in the drive thru watching hundreds of rats running in and out of the bin store and around the place. Obviously their 1000 bait boxes aren't doing the trick?? Told them about it and apparently the problem is sorted! Maybe they have started employing them?

Absolutely awful paid for a large meal chips half full food freezing cold and inedible thrown away straight away. Coca cola witout ice last 6 weeks.

It's a McDonald's. I got a drive thru. It was fine!

Friday am at 9am. Walked in and ordered from the machine to beat drive through massive queue. Stood for over 10 minutes seeing just eat drivers taking all priority then when i got to my car there was no egg in my double sausage and egg mcmuffin and it was cold. Ate it due to hunger.. Have used this branch for many years but won't return 😔

Remade all order due to error they made - except the Big Tasty which they refused to remake as it would “take too long”! Everyone else got fresh hot food , the Big Tasty was stone cold and certainly not tasty. It ended up in the bin.

My wife and son seem to like it! 🤪

Sick of missing items and having to return, fed up with the long queues because the staff don't prioritise properly, just eat, uber and deliveroo have up to an hour to deliver food yet they have the rest of the customers waiting to serve the couriers.. its gone downhill in the last year, not to mention the major rat problem in the summer.. piles and piles of them.. ick.

Fairly empty. Not up to usual standard. chips undercooked and soggy and like warm as was the big Mac. Disappointing meal.

Cold food, service was very slow. From order being ready to collect it took 10mins for someone to actually pass it to me even though no one was waiting. I think they cheat the KPIs on how their FAST FOOD service this way. I did complain via the App and the agent was very helpful and resolved the issue however they need more accountability on site to put customer service and quality first!

Really delicious tasty McFlurrys’ I love the seasonal flavours which I wished they did all year round. Usually quite busy so you will have to queue to get a seat. Drive through usually busy as well up to a 5 minute wait. Friendly staff would recommend the season McFlurry flavours.
