McDonald's in Mid Devon

One of the best Macdonald's... Never waiting long despite how busy it is.

Excellent food and service. Rare for McDonald's nowadays. I did visit at 2am.

Just stopped to get a coffee! McD is a McD the world over. You like the food or you don't!

Really clean, quick and friendly service here! One of the kind of McDonald's that *pretty much* looks like the burgers on the pictures (in a good way 😎) usually room to sit and a light/airy atmosphere! What you see is what you get with McDonald's, and this team do it well!

Purchased a chicken share box form here this evening to find the chicken was under cooked ( pink inside) the pictures don't do it justice

Cully mcdonalds is the best and cleanest around! Always prefer here to Exeter as staff always on top of cleaning and food orders. Can't fault it!

Normally pretty fast but can get busy

The food quality is going so far downhill that it’s lost its quality name

I live in Exeter but if I ever want a freshly made, hot and a quick service I'm choosing this McDonald's every time. Well done to the staff.

Chips were hot and well cooked, makes a change from other McDonald's. Spotlessly clean, friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend ths restaurant.

Very friendly lady called Chris greeted me on arrival, lovely interaction to have, stopped for some breakfast, food speedy and spot on.

Mc Donald's is always a great option for a quick bie to eat.

My son ordered thru McD's App to be delivered by Uber Eats. 2 hours later, it still hadn't arrived and we live 1/4 mile away from store. We went up there, the Manager was quite rude and we still came empty handed. 2 3/4 hours later food arrived by which time my son was in bed 😞

I went yesterday with my daughter and her family for my granddaughter's 5th birthday. Ordered to the table via the self service. Food was hot and tasty and the staff were friendly and pleasant

This is just like any other McDonald's. However it was really busy, due to huge delays on the M5. The food was prepared very quickly and the restaurant was very clean

Service? I haven't see any! Food? Not hot enough... Atmosphere? Chaotic

Your typical McDonald's food never seems to be hot enough ,drinks such as the coffee is dreadfully. The good point is that the staff are really friendly. Toilets clean.

Really friendly staff, especially at 2am, very helpful. It is easily one of my favourite services to stop at.

A rare take away meal en route home from Cornwall. It was tasty and definitely filled a gap. We wished there was a grassy area at these services in order to walk a travel weary Labrador - the carpark just isn't the same!

Food taste ok was luke warm, service very slow my order was sat on the counter waiting ages for drinks to be added was not great but not the worst.

Unfortunately after eating only 2 chicken selects I was extremely unwell for 2 days.... The first one was fine the second one was pink and very chewy!

Because this restaurant doesn't have a drive through, service here is much quicker than those that do. Clean, tidy and efficient.

Crowded motorway service area. Enough said.

Yes it's a McDonald's but credit where it's due. Always busy but very efficient cooking, serving.and cleanliness makes it one of the better ones. This all starts from the manager down. Give yourself a pat one the back, you deserve it. Well done guys.

I don't go to McDonald's often and only had coffee and porridge but the staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean

Very, very busy. Hard to see when orders were ready. Queues were chaotic.

A very good McDonald's food was excellent, staff were friendly and polite really enjoyed it, I have only ever visited about 10 Mcdonald's and this was the best by a long way. Update Still good.

Slow service, Cold fries, rude service from female manager on shift.

McDonald's a great place for a quick bite to eat however service times are getting worse mostly because nowadays they concentrate too much on the drive-through service and home deliveries You can often wait 5 to 10 minutes to be served when you are the only person queuing So don't expect to get your food in less than 20 minutes or you could be disappointed I often get quicker and better service in a wetherspoons McDonald's used to be known as a fast food service company but not so much anymore 🤔

Handy stop just off the motorway

Quick service, clean tables & amenities for 2am. I have been to some & tables are filthy either bins overflowing but not this one. Will definitely be using this services again.

Cullompton McDonald's is the best around. Lots of mature staff that still treat you like a valuable customer, even bring your food to the table

It was very busy when I arrived at McDonald's, Cullompton services. I got served quickly at the counter. I waited less than 5 minutes for my order. The food was hot and tasty. Staff were polite and helpful. A good experience had there. A happy customer.

Just fast food but check your order for missing items. Always try asking for chips without salt then ask for salt after so you get hot chips and slightly amend your burgers for freshly made

Service was super quick for a MacDonalds, and the fries were hot! Was expecting bad service, bad food and an expensive dinner for a service station but I was pleasantly surprised, perfect spot on the way home from our Devon day trip!

Very disappointed with ordering a very simple cheeseburger no mustard no pickle.. to receive a burger with extra pickle and swimming in ketchup. I took it back only to receive a cheeseburger swimming in ketchup again and with a burnt bun. Very odd. Awful service too with no apology.

Too many staff in small area not having a clue what they were doing and falling over one another. Customer service shocking - was served by a young girl called Alex who needs retraining, her customer skills are bad. There was an issue with the app when ordering food and she couldn't care less and walked off - she went to get a Manager/ shift leader (no name badge but had floppy hair and wore round glasses) and he was just as useless. This was Fri 30th August at 6.50pm. The app clearly didnt work but the staff wont admit it, the manager basically accused us of doing it wrong but we have used the app many times. The place was busy as it is a motorway service station so you need to be prepared for it to be busy but the staff and manager couldn't handle the pressure.

Drive through shut service slow food cold and as they pre prepare the drinks ice melted fizzy drinks not fizzy hot drinks not hot.

Decent motorway Maccies. Busy holiday weekend but service was quick. This probably helped as food wasn't sitting around.

Food was so-so. Same old ,same old! Americano was OK though. It's still one of the obvious places for a 'grab n go' bite , especially if you're in a hurry . McDonald's serve a purpose for many of our populace.

Never been to this McDonald's before. Placed our order and didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for it to be ready. Pleasant surprise. When the order was ready, the lady was very polite and friendly - this was a nice change from the auto-greetings the staff usually give you. Plus points - 1) The ice cream machine was working, 2) food was piping hot, fresh and tasty, 3) this particular McDonald's could do with teaching my local version a thing or two on service and personsl engagement. Negative points - 1) too small a site - too many vendors for the building, 2) car parking - for a services, fighting for a parking spot would usually have made me go to the next services, but we were close to the breakfast cut off time - we persevered

Great little McDonald's on a services. Cheap & cheerful the staff were a little off but it's to be expected when it's a warm day and it's busy. Love that they still had the sauce pumps!! Don't see these a lot these days

Food was very fast but also barely warm.

Mad burgers. Some geeza was talking about how he's developing the fine dining McDonald's experience with a big Mac sauce foam. He was fat.

Food thrown together and into bag. Staff messing about, lots of giggling and food ended up dropped on floor before serving. Others uploading this to Snapchat. Only half a milkshake in cup but didn’t realise until on m5! Could do with a manager overseeing the very young staff to improve standards.
