Cullompton Services - Extra - M5 J28 in Mid Devon

Toilets always really clean and attendant really nice.

Staff are always polite and helpful. Site is always clean when I visit and the costa staff especially always cheer me up with witty banter and smiles. seem like a really nice team.. :) Great efforts to get rid of stinky bins that encourage pests.. now a recycling site and Doing what’s needed to tackle unnecessary waste.

Junction 28 is always very clean and tidy, and very welcoming staff. Toilets are always spotless✨Costa staff lovely as always!!

Just stopped for coffee and to use loos must say it's one of the cleanest services we have stopped at.keep up the good work

Being a regular I meet my mates here most days for a chat and food/drinks etc. Having got to know a lot of staff including Rose the manager I look forward to going here. A week and a half ago I had an accident and broke my leg and had to have major surgery. Obviously not able to get to the services for that amount of time but today I managed to get here and I got the biggest welcome from Rose who had been told by friends what had happened to me. What a lovely person to have as a manager who takes a valid interest in her customers!! Thank you Rose it’s great to be back and on the mend!

A small but adequate service area.

If you’re traveling along the M5, it’s well worth a stop!

Good place to charge an EV and grab a coffee or food

Has everything you need costa, Macdonald's and toilets there are other bits like a whsmiths and a bakery but I have never used those due to the costs. The petrol station is extortion just nip to the Tesco 100yds away.

Great services and staff have been brilliant with any questions we had.

Bins full everywhere rubbish allover! You can't even put anything in the bin!

Ladies toilets are absolutely spotless.

Great facilities but the entrance and exit to the car park areas needs better organisation. In the summer this service area is tough to get in and out of.

When I drive up country I usually stop here for a comfort break. The loos are always clean and very rarely queues. I did prefer it when they had the independent cafe years ago, the coffee was better. But Costa is OK and is what it is.

We went to charge the car, what a disaster, don't bother, machines wouldn't work , then we had to talk to someone online that couldn't fix it either so drove to Exeter

Nice place to visit when you need to teach a break

We had a takeaway costa and sat in the car drinking our coffees next to the railway line. We played a game where we had to guess how long till the train went past and in which direction. I won. I looked at the train tables the night before.

EXTRA Services is a great place for stopovers or even just hangout. Was very often there before I had a baby just for coffee and reading books. Staffs are ever so warm and even the tenants, polite and friendly. They talked to each other as if they’re family, with respect. If I had noticed something in few occasions being there now with the little one is the improvement in cleanliness especially the toilets. Cleaner, user-friendly and very well-maintained. Kudos to the whole team! 👌

Cullompton Extra services is somewhere i often stop at and is always a great experience! The station is clean, well maintained and easy to navigate. The staff in all units are very friendly and there is always a lovely atmosphere. Keep up the good work!

Ok services, quite small parking areas for such a busy site, could do with more fast charging points only has 6 at the moment and they are in a tight space to get in, McDonald’s and Costa on site are what you’d expect, shell garage for fuel

I just needed to send a review commending the spotlessly clean toilets at this Cullompton service station (J28). The cleaner, Marina, was on duty. She was so friendly and genuinely cared about her job. This is wonderful customer service and probably the best toilets I have ever bisited at a service station. Thanks so much, Marina and team. This services are easy in and out, McDonald's,Costa and more ,clean toilets ,what's not to like.

For a small services it’s one of the better ones. Decent dining options. Pretty clean and tidy.

It's a great place for stopping off to charge your car up, but on the downside, if you have your dog with you, there is nowhere inside for you to go while you are waiting for your car to charge in this freezing weather.

Love this service station...everybody is sooo helpful and friendly.. twice I have been in a real bad situation with my car and there is a wonderful kind human here that has helped me enormously when I was stuck as a single female driver I felt completely comfortable asking for help...and your loos are really clean!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice services on way through Devon McDonalds, Costa and small shop

The toilets were quite clean. Had a McDonald's. We wished there was a grassy area for our lovely Labrador to spend on, after being in the car from Cornwall for a couple of hours.

4-star and above What kind of say it's a service station but it's somewhere to stop on your journey and have a rest or get a drink or food which seems to be quite nice there cluster of toilets and there is a car park it's not huge but at least there is a car park it is average size plus there are power points to charge electric cars And set in a lovely location in Devon It's one place I would return too

I pop into this services quite often when I’m visiting family. It’s always clean and tidy even when busy, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Stopped at the Macca 'D's very impressed food was great fresh and pipping hot and plenty of parking spaces

Went into these services on our way to the airport and was really impressed, nice and clean toilets and the staff in Costa were really helpful towards my dietary needs, all in all a great experience.

Cracking little service station. Friendly staff and lovely food. Even with huge queues of people for MacD, wait time is never very long. The fuel station is a pretty pricey venture. Pop down 50 meters to Tesco for 10% price saving on fuel.

Parking for hgv is rather expensive and will only allow you to pay by card and not cash

The food is great but what are you running here? The hot chocolate tastes like straight up water and is like half full. Would of gone in and complained but had to get somewhere

The workers are very friendly especially the man with dark hair is very welcoming :) ! They have a recycling centre which is brilliant 🤩 Will be back again!

A typical motorway services. Plenty of parking on site and ample facilities inside. Just off of the M5 Northbound carriageway. Pricing is what you expect for a motorway service station, although you pay for the convenience.

Used the McDonald's at 2am, services were clean & tidy, along with the toilets. Would definitely use these services again, they also weren't like a fridge as most services in the middle of the night are usually freezing cold. These were warm & welcoming g.

Have visited this services on many occasions, always found it clean & tidy. Car park is not that big but if everyone parks sensibly & within the bays it can work well. For the size of the services the site has ample amount of eating places & seating areas.

Went to cornwall and on the way day stopped off at Bridgewater services which couldn't have been worse in my opinion. On our way back, w stopped off here and had the best McDonald's we've had in a long time. (If ever!) Toilets were clean and assessable with my son in his pushchair, unlike other services. Very happy.

Above average, but can get very busy as the same services for both carriageways. The toilet area is small.

Only used the toilet which was clean. But not much there, very hard to park as carpark small and cramped. Only have a small car but not enough space.

Ridiculously small area housing the EV chargers where it's nearly impossible to turn and traffic entering from two directions.

It's not very helpful being completely unavailable by phone when one member of our party left his phone at your store on our way home from holiday and we're trying to phone you before we've got home to see if it's there but you have no phone number and your online form will not be looked at for 2 days yet.

This is one of the smaller service stations, but I always stop here for a maccys breakfast. It's clean and has toilets. There is also plenty of parking.
