Mcspicy was fresh, fries were a big old but we visited at 3am so 😅🤷

Always slow service. 5-6 numbers ahead of you get called before they get to your order. Chips are always cold by the time you get your order. Staff walk around like snails and would rather conversation then actual work.

I order a take away today and I only got about 15 fries for my daughter. Very disappointed she is.

What the hell is wrong with this store. 5.04am and I'm the only customer. Food arrived cold at 5.25. How do you take so long to do a really bad job? Still really bad here. I'm the only customer but all but 2 tables are dirty. 17 minutes for an egg muffin. I've had quicker eggs benedict. Bloody awful restaurant I was going to improve my review as it does seem cleaner but after waiting 12 minutes for a muffin its clearly just as badly run as before. Same disgusting state without a single clean table available. Food was awful with hash brown cold and hard and same with the muffin. Ill be going back to tim hortons now as food is much better and I think they actually do some cleaning they Quiet inside today but still took 15 mins for a muffin meal. What do these guys do for 15 mins?

Quick visit after a day out.... Had a laugh with the staff in the drive through ordering and collection

Ordered a big mac meal from Osmaston Park road Derby. what's happened to the meat in these things its wafer thin,won't be buying these again,,and why so much salt, £6.19 for this your having a laugh mc doh.dont look like your pics does it

As a delivery driver for McDonald's, I have had several frustrating experiences at the Osmaston location. The wait times for orders are excessively long, often making it difficult to complete deliveries on time. What is even more concerning is the behavior of the staff. They frequently seem more focused on talking among themselves rather than efficiently preparing orders. When I have politely asked them to concentrate on getting the orders ready, they respond in a rude and unprofessional manner, which only adds to my frustration. The lack of courtesy and the delays in service make this particular location one of the most challenging to work with. I hope management addresses these issues, as improving both the speed of service and the behavior of the staff would make a significant difference for delivery drivers like myself.

Fries cold, missing drink, missing ice cream

Nice meal , chips were slightly cold but manageress changed for hit and fresher ones . Always visit here as its best imo

Awful management and staff. Manager seems to not know what he is doing and dismisses any complaints raised to him. The staff are highly unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. I waited 15 minutes in the queue, then was told to wait in a bay for a further 10 minutes to then having a member of staff DROPPING a bag of food in my car without one word and strutting off, could not even apologise or portray some basic human decency to a customer. Absolutely awful. Not to mention the manager who seems to allow his staff to act like this and clearly does not provide adequate training as I have read other reviews complaining about the same thing! Avoid this place at all costs.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the way the employees at McDonald's Osmaston Park in Derby behaved. The staff's lack of professionalism and respect has made my experience nothing short of irritating. They constantly act impolitely and unhelpful, demonstrating a lack of customer service skills. Although it is a high-pressured setting, there is no justification for the obvious disrespect and dismissive attitude I have experienced. It appears that they are not properly trained in ethics or basic customer service. In contrast to another dinner I had alongside my meal, I discovered food that had hair in it and appeared to have been tampered with. Furthermore, there was FOUR employees vaping outside and gossiping while there was a queue of six cars waiting. I witnessed this when they told to sit in a bay where I had to wait for the food to come for over 15 mins. The employees' attitude is atrocious and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. Go to the next McDonald's that's open instead.

Would give it 0 stars if i could. Horrendous staff and customer service, got given the complete wrong order which we couldn’t eat and they wouldn’t replace it.

Very rude staff! Asked for some dips when at collection window, was told 20p I asked to pay by card was told no you should’ve paid before or pay cash, I explained I had no cash but was happy to pay by card, lady said ‘well not my problem then’

UPDATE: stupidly used them again and they’ve taken double payment and claimed it declined when both in fact went through and now being incredibly difficult about giving MY MONEY back. Two staff members brought out my order. One of which was carrying a single fruit shoot the other could have managed. Wouldn’t have cared about this alone we’ve all turned a 1 person job into 2 to talk to a colleague but neither of them even remotely acknowledged me when they gave me my food. Not a single word and barely even looked at me as they thrusted the food at me. Then every single item had ketchup on it. I’m talking the sides of the drinks. Inside the filet of fish box (no ketchup in said burger) every burger had 3x the amount of sauce it should have. The chips were like cardboard and no salt. The mcplant and mcchicken patty’s were VERY clearly off. They smelt and looks revolting. We literally didn’t eat any of the items and when we’ve reached of to customer service because the entire order (melted milkshakes and all) was totally revolting they have refused a refund. How on earth they think they are in the right I don’t know. I NEVER complain but there was genuinely not a good part of this meal of staff interaction(or lack there of) at all. Unfortunately going to have to go trading standards route if they don’t reply. The hygiene has sadly nosedived here. I’d avoid and the cottonbrooke road one also.

I am extremely disappointed with the behavior of the staff at McDonald's Osmaston Park, Derby. As a delivery driver, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating due to the lack of respect and professionalism shown by the staff. They are consistently rude and unhelpful, showing no understanding of how to interact with or assist delivery drivers. Despite the high-pressure environment, there’s no excuse for the blatant disrespect and dismissive attitude I’ve encountered. It seems they lack proper training in basic customer service or ethics when dealing with delivery personnel. Instead of cooperation or courtesy, drivers are often treated poorly, with staff acting as though we are an inconvenience rather than part of the team helping their orders reach customers. McDonald's is a globally recognized brand, but the way this branch operates is tarnishing its reputation. Management needs to address these issues urgently by providing proper training to staff and fostering an environment of mutual respect. Until then, working as a delivery driver here is a thoroughly unpleasant experience. Would not recommend this branch to fellow drivers until significant improvements are made.

Took ages to answer the order, then took over 20 minutes for the food to come to us (got sent to another window) while they gave everyone else behind us their orders with no problems, only ordered 1 meal.

Food was very nice today. Sharon very helpful. She sorted out our coffees for us.

The App didn't work. So I couldn't make my order on the app, but service was great, food was very good and the atmosphere was quiet and serene. Customer service was good as the attendant tried to help with the app.

Overall good although the floor is always sticky and wet, I saw a fly in the seating area, floor is dirty with chips and crusty food also, food left spread out across the tables and toilets are tiny and stink when you first come in. The service is okay and the food is great…

You get a job, work hard, meet a lady who loves the direction your life is going in, she is happy (😊), some years later, you end up here regularly buying chicken nugget happy meals for your kids (🕺). Many years later (anywhere between 2 and 50), the desire for the happy meal is no more. It's a momentous moment, you no longer need that house extension that was planned to house the happy meal toys or books (intelligence 🤜) that your kids had accumulated over the years (⛵ 🏖️ 🍷). It's a joyous day, you have retained your sanity and made it through the chicken nugget happy meal daze that you have found yourself in for the last years, it is finally over (🥳). But No No No!! How naive you have been, what you failed to realise, is that this is a two part show and you just completed part one. 'You want what? Oh, a McChicken sandwich, wait, that's just one big chicken nugget (😭)'. Anyway, if this tale of woe has any relevance to you, please note that you can buy McDonalds food here and that this McDonald's is a good one. The End.

Back staff working efficiently, front staff chatting about Christmas and wages and quite slow. Ignoring food that's sitting there.

This is a horrible McDonald's, all food cold, only thing hot was the drink, biggest waste of money of this week. Derby itself is a dirty good for nothing place so this MacDonalds fits in perfectly with it's surroundings. The world is just greed, no one cares as soon as they have your money... I won't use this place again..

The app is not working, they couldn’t take an order in store for 30 minutes due to doing an update of their system, then when they were ready to take an order they wouldn’t take cash because they didn’t have a till ready. Maybe be more prepared to actually serve

Food is always of a good quality I'm my experience. Staff are friendly. The drive through line does move pretty quickly and very rarely do they not have items in stock. The only downside is that on some occasions the drive through line has extended unto the main roundabout which can be hazardous.

Service was fast, however construction of the food looked very rushed. Had to hold my wrap together with two hands to eat it, and took a bite into my burger and it just oozed with sauce more than it should of. Fries were nice though which seems to be a hard thing for some restaurants to get right. Atmosphere is basically what you expect of osmanton . Also the big Mac tasted like it had been made an hour ago.

Ur delivery man didn’t deliver to the right address, he was 2 streets away with my food , I should have cancelled my order, yet it was for my kids

Ordered off just eat food and drinks arrived a only got the drinks and when asked the driver he informed me that the staff told him that they only had the drinks and none off the food absolute joke off a place…. Gone down hill in recent years. Every time I go here I have to wait at the till or drive through to check every item isn’t stone cold. Was tricked today after waiting for 15 mins whilst they prioritise the drive through so left assuming food would be red hot as they must have cooked it fresh. Spent £8 for a freezing cold burger and fries that were cold too. Been going here for 30 years. Never been this bad. What’s changed mcds?Place is always clean and tidy though I must give them that.

Went through drive through and at collection window tried to give me someone else's order, then gave me incorrect drink, parked me up only for me to wait 15 to 20 minutes. Had to go into store to collect order, only to be told it had to be redone as taken to wrong car, then missed a bit off. Always problems with that store, all others spot on. Needs vast improvement.

poor experiance i was shcked to open the door to delievery man telling me drinks hav spilt n my food is wet on the floor wen i picked the drinks bag up litterally bag slit open i said to the man how can he delievery this i sed its not even milkshakes.. he sed i dnt no not his problem and sped of down the street! he never asked for code... i cant believe i waited for the food and unsocaiable hours n to be given this service is dibolical im actually in shock ended up cleaning up his mess nt eating

Food was good and as ordered. Nice and hot but order was missing 3 dips, straws and napkins. Overall I'll reorder but pls a bit more attention to the details.

Spent £50 on order restaurant very quiet. I had been at a wedding so walked the mile to the branch. Got back one meal completely missing and dips all wrong. Spoke to many who advised I walk back to get order! Why not just offer a refund of the missing meal? Absolutely rubbish customer service! If you can’t put out an order correctly when quiet then you need to employ people who can!

Honestly the worst service I’ve received ever from delivery… my food was cold and the driver didn’t know what he was doing I showed him proof of my order number and I had to do it myself on his food after refusing for like 7-8 minutes to pass me my food utterly applaud I work for food service myself and I’ve received cold fries burgers and didn’t even get my nuggets absolutely fuming due it working all day just wanted a midnight snack …..

Visited McDonald's tonigt. I waited for my food for 40 minutes due to system issues. When I asked staff member to support her with other colleagues because she was alone, she mentioned that the staff were busy while I noticed them chatting in the back. Despite pointing this out, I did not receive a response. I requested a refund but without any apologies. Very poor service. This experience was very disappointing.

My wife had a chicken salad and gotta say its the best salad box she's had at any McDonald's ( Usually a bit lacklustre)

Decided to treat my daughter & I to breakfast (around 09:30 27.06.24) - egg & bacon muffin meal. At the drive thru, we were greated by a friendly voice asking if we were using McDonald's app which were not. After we gave our order we were met at the payment window with a big smiley face & friendly manner by the young woman who took our order at the speaker point. As we left, she told us to enjoy our day which was lovely! Unfortunately the same couldn't be said by the young woman at the collection window who didn't smile or greet us as she gave us our drinks & told us to wait at the next window for our food. As she returned some minutes later, still no smile & no friendly goodbye 😞 When we arrived home & I served up our meals, my daughter's meal looked really appetising with a really thick slice of bacon that was hanging outside the muffin it was that big!! Unfortunately mine was the opposite where my bacon was so tiny & thin, you could see daylight thru it!!! What a disappointment 😞 How sad that someone put our meals together & would allow such poor quality to leave their kitchen especially at the prices a bacon & egg muffin meal costs these days!! I hope this was a 'one off'.
