McDonald's in Derby

The app is not working, they couldn’t take an order in store for 30 minutes due to doing an update of their system, then when they were ready to take an order they wouldn’t take cash because they didn’t have a till ready. Maybe be more prepared to actually serve

The people who work there not very friendly and they don’t smile at all

Waited over 1 hour in the drive through to be served and when asked why I was told because not enough staff were put on...... absolute shambles

Ordered meals, spended over 30 pounds, didn't get my full order , didn't get refund also. Every day McDonald's service gets worse and worse

Service was fast, however construction of the food looked very rushed. Had to hold my wrap together with two hands to eat it, and took a bite into my burger and it just oozed with sauce more than it should of. Fries were nice though which seems to be a hard thing for some restaurants to get right. Atmosphere is basically what you expect of osmanton . Also the big Mac tasted like it had been made an hour ago.

Food is always of a good quality I'm my experience. Staff are friendly. The drive through line does move pretty quickly and very rarely do they not have items in stock. The only downside is that on some occasions the drive through line has extended unto the main roundabout which can be hazardous.

saw the offer thought, 10 quid for two burgers and medium fries not bad... yeah if the burgers actually arrived....thanks for the fries

Worst place ever to go to. Some staff members are very rude and the managers are even worse. No respect for customers.

Both fries were cold and not full as box was half empty and both burgers are not cooked properly absolutely terrible

Visited after trip to cinema . Prompt service food made quick and the MOST IMPORTANT PART FOR ME !!! It was HOT 👍👌that's were other McDonald's let them self down . Always visit this restaurant even if I'm on other side of Derby as in my opinion it's the best , always clean, staff always friendly always hot food ! .Also drive through just as good nothing ever wrong x✋👏

Still really bad here. I'm the only customer but all but 2 tables are dirty. 17 minutes for an egg muffin. I've had quicker eggs benedict. Bloody awful restaurant I was going to improve my review as it does seem cleaner but after waiting 12 minutes for a muffin its clearly just as badly run as before. Same disgusting state without a single clean table available. Food was awful with hash brown cold and hard and same with the muffin. Ill be going back to tim hortons now as food is much better and I think they actually do some cleaning they Quiet inside today but still took 15 mins for a muffin meal. What do these guys do for 15 mins?

Horrendous service on the 15/09/24. Over 25 minutes wait for the food and it must have been sat on the ramp under the lamps for 10 of those minutes.

Ur delivery man didn’t deliver to the right address, he was 2 streets away with my food , I should have cancelled my order, yet it was for my kids

Ordered off just eat food and drinks arrived a only got the drinks and when asked the driver he informed me that the staff told him that they only had the drinks and none off the food absolute joke off a place…. Why anyone goes here I will never know, staff never seem to care, drive through waiting times are ridiculous even when quiet and food is almost always cold

Went through drive through and at collection window tried to give me someone else's order, then gave me incorrect drink, parked me up only for me to wait 15 to 20 minutes. Had to go into store to collect order, only to be told it had to be redone as taken to wrong car, then missed a bit off. Always problems with that store, all others spot on. Needs vast improvement.

Gone down hill in recent years. Every time I go here I have to wait at the till or drive through to check every item isn’t stone cold. Was tricked today after waiting for 15 mins whilst they prioritise the drive through so left assuming food would be red hot as they must have cooked it fresh. Spent £8 for a freezing cold burger and fries that were cold too. Been going here for 30 years. Never been this bad. What’s changed mcds?Place is always clean and tidy though I must give them that.

poor experiance i was shcked to open the door to delievery man telling me drinks hav spilt n my food is wet on the floor wen i picked the drinks bag up litterally bag slit open i said to the man how can he delievery this i sed its not even milkshakes.. he sed i dnt no not his problem and sped of down the street! he never asked for code... i cant believe i waited for the food and unsocaiable hours n to be given this service is dibolical im actually in shock ended up cleaning up his mess nt eating

25 minute wait for a wrap...that is hardly fast food. Very disappointing.

Food was good and as ordered. Nice and hot but order was missing 3 dips, straws and napkins. Overall I'll reorder but pls a bit more attention to the details.

Mot very good burgers we're ok fries unseasoned came cold got 2 of our 3 drinks wrong and the lattes taste like straight up water with a sprinkle of coffee I would not recommend here

Spent £50 on order restaurant very quiet. I had been at a wedding so walked the mile to the branch. Got back one meal completely missing and dips all wrong. Spoke to many who advised I walk back to get order! Why not just offer a refund of the missing meal? Absolutely rubbish customer service! If you can’t put out an order correctly when quiet then you need to employ people who can!

Honestly the worst service I’ve received ever from delivery… my food was cold and the driver didn’t know what he was doing I showed him proof of my order number and I had to do it myself on his food after refusing for like 7-8 minutes to pass me my food utterly applaud I work for food service myself and I’ve received cold fries burgers and didn’t even get my nuggets absolutely fuming due it working all day just wanted a midnight snack …..

No love was put in the food packing they didn't even give me a straw and they just wanted me to leave when I got the food

Visited McDonald's tonigt. I waited for my food for 40 minutes due to system issues. When I asked staff member to support her with other colleagues because she was alone, she mentioned that the staff were busy while I noticed them chatting in the back. Despite pointing this out, I did not receive a response. I requested a refund but without any apologies. Very poor service. This experience was very disappointing.

My wife had a chicken salad and gotta say its the best salad box she's had at any McDonald's ( Usually a bit lacklustre)

Food was fine but don't know who came up with the galaxy pie idea but it's absolutely disgusting no flavour to what so ever in it barely any raspberry at all and really doesn't taste like galaxy far far from it I wouldn't even say it tastes like chocolate at all it was very hard also tasted like burnt toaste very disappointed think I'll stick to the apple in future

Don't know why I'm asked to review this, only went in once and even then didn't have anything, only waiting for the misses and her sister to finish their 'big' mac. Can do better burgers at home...

Food was lovely but the drinks let them down thos time the latte tasted like a mixture of coffee and tea and the hot chocolate was just coloured water

Decided to treat my daughter & I to breakfast (around 09:30 27.06.24) - egg & bacon muffin meal. At the drive thru, we were greated by a friendly voice asking if we were using McDonald's app which were not. After we gave our order we were met at the payment window with a big smiley face & friendly manner by the young woman who took our order at the speaker point. As we left, she told us to enjoy our day which was lovely! Unfortunately the same couldn't be said by the young woman at the collection window who didn't smile or greet us as she gave us our drinks & told us to wait at the next window for our food. As she returned some minutes later, still no smile & no friendly goodbye 😞 When we arrived home & I served up our meals, my daughter's meal looked really appetising with a really thick slice of bacon that was hanging outside the muffin it was that big!! Unfortunately mine was the opposite where my bacon was so tiny & thin, you could see daylight thru it!!! What a disappointment 😞 How sad that someone put our meals together & would allow such poor quality to leave their kitchen especially at the prices a bacon & egg muffin meal costs these days!! I hope this was a 'one off'.

Since redecorating the area downstairs is much smaller than it was but there is a lift upstairs is always so packed so no much seating available but as far as I no this is the only McDonald's still with a play area for kids

Ordered 1.10AM received 3.00AM. 1.5 hour was showing driver is collecting the order.

I ordered a wrap look at this disgrace your telling me your getting paid 10/11£ plus to make a wrap and you can’t even get that right, consider yourself adopted I recommend this to dogs

Just your average Mcdonalds. Usually pretty quick and food is hot. Lost a star as they have a habit of leaving items off your order. Annoying when you get home to find one burger missing. Happened a couple of times recently.

Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Chips were still frozen, wrong wraps. Handled great by manager once we came back but individual doing our reorder pulled right faces because we came back. I get it’s annoying but get it right the first time and you wouldn’t get complaints

Bought 2 cheeseburgers and 1 chicken mayo. Had to wait at in the car (bay1)10 minutes. It was not busy. Told them why it takes so long. Then when the girl was giving me the food asked her why it took so long! Her answer was: "Don't know" !!!! Realy ? Are you giving customers this kind of answeres ? Why is the manager taking this kind of people to work there ? No manners, no customer service skills. ZEROOOO. There is always something. They forget ketchup, they put 15 Nuggets in a box instead of 20. There is always something. Only stupid people work there. Can't get their job done properly!

I order a plain burger every time not because I don’t like it but because I am actually allergic to onion eatin onion closes my windpipe and it’s quite painful but every time I order it has onion on it so it goes straight into the bin this time tho it looks like they just got a normal burger and scraped it as around the edge was loaded with onions hidden in cheese and the smell of mustard coming from it was strong but none on the burger so I’m guessing that was also scraped off absolutely terrible nearly killing someone because they can’t be arsed I’m going to film my order again and film them dropping it off and me opening I can guarantee that it will be wrong and will have onion

Manager was extremely rude, threw the sauces across the table after asking her for a bag, refused to provide a bag.

Simply Disgusting! This particular Mcdoalds cannot cook fries to any standard other than poor. No salt on fries just dry straggly distasteful yellow streaks of disgust! The management should be ashamed they allow such a poor low quality of standard. People deserve better quality for there hard earned cash. I am continuously dissapointed and have had to resort to buying less for my money. This store has been putting out low standards consistently for a long time. Markeaton Island is much better quality and Cottonbrook Road also very good. This store needs to learn how to cook a McDonalds properly and the management should do some quality control from time to time!!

Nice place to have a quick meal. Service always great. Toilets etc always clean. Crayons and things to colour always available for the kids.

The delivery rider went miles out of the way before delivering to me when I live 5 minutes away so in turn my food is un edible and too cold to eat.

Yet again more missing food from the order. Doesn’t matter which app you use they still forget things from the order.

I had to go and find the driver in the McDonald to take my order after 1.5h waiting. The manager of the McDonald had been abusive toward me when I ask for support with the order.
