McDonald's in Wirral

Easily the slowest mcdonalds there has ever been! Doesnt matter when ever you go its always painfully slow. Avoid if you can!!

This must be the worst McDonald's around this area, food is always cold, you always have to park up when you go through the drive through, and most of ghe time the order is wrong or there are items missing.

We ordered 2 kids meals, one with burger, one with chicken nuggets. We were given 2 burgers. How does that happen?? Also fries were cold in both meals. Can’t believe how bad it was

Opted for a bbq mc crispy meal…. Nobody told me my chicken burger was barbecued yesterday though! The burger was far from fresh the chicken had clearly been kept warm for a long time. The coke was flatter than a witches tit. The fries were the only decent thing in the meal but for nearly 8 quid it was terrible. Fast food is no excuse for stale food.

The machines were not working properly for ordering and the order was wrong

They have to be doing this on purpose. No one can be this bad unintentionally. Never the correct items.

Asked if there were serviettes in bag,told yes, but there was none in the bag 😡

Food and service was fine. Unfortunately there were a group of teenagers swearing and being loud. Now I know we have all been teenagers but have some respect when there are families with small children.

literally the worst mcdonalds in the whole of Merseyside staff are gormless and so rude and every time been they’re they say park round the front and have people waiting 20+ mins.

Hands down the worst Macdonald’s on the Wirral , ran by kids - no idea how to cook and can’t take an order right - disgusting

After having to park up and waiting 10 minutes for a happy meal, I went and asked what the problem was. Waiting for Mayonnaise was the answer. After a further 5 minutes, I went to ask for my money back as at least 12 people had now been through the drive-through. It's ready now, I was told. I thought it was a fast food drive-through, I said. Oh no, this is a restaurant the server told me. When opened, the meal was cold.

Hopeless, ordered never got it,

Food-Too much salt being used or non at all! Milkshakes are more frequently not available than they are. Service-the staff are lovely and happy to help one on one once you have their attention from talking among themselves. The clean up staff look lost and walk around like zombies when cleaning up. Very slow and lethargic. When you approach them though they spring into life put on a smile and are more than happy to help. To me these are management problems not staff. Atmosphere-You can tell the staff are not happy in their work and fed up of something which makes them harder to approach because you don't want to make anything worse for them. Again a management problem.

Every time I come to this McDonalds drive thru I'm sent to park up and end up waiting 20 minutes plus, it's ridiculous the service is shocking and would 0 star if I could.

Understaffed and seemed demotivated. Numbers weren't shouted out and customers were clearly confused. The priority seems to be deliveries over customers in-store. Receipts weren't printing and WiFi was down.

Good all round - quick drive through

Wouldn't bother with drive thru as it is anything but 'fast food' never been and not been parked up waiting like 20 minutes, and half the time your order is wrong today even managed to put one chicken nugget in my sons happy meal 👎

I ate McDonald's because I was hungry.

By far the worst mcdonalds going. You will have to park up and wait for 20+ mins even if you just order a coffee. And if you order more than 1 meal there is no chance the order will be right. Want sauce? No chance!! Every few months I come back because it's the closest, and I always regret it.

we visited today at around 2pm 16.2.25, it wasnt overly busy, i had a 20 minute wait for food that i ordered in store, the lady who was sorting the orders at the desk wandered off and had a good old chat to man she knew on the lobby, the screen said my order was ready for collection but she diddnt seem interester in the paying customers...the best part is her badge said she was a staff trainer or crew trainer!!! pretty poor service.

This could be one of the worst McDonald's around. The service is shocking (they prioritise drive thru) the bins are overflowing (inside and out) the tables and floors are rotten, god knows what the kitchen is like. Never coming back again!!!

Wanted 25 minutes and when I got it it was freezing

Please be careful going through the drive through and check what you are being charged for. I noticed fraudulent activity on my account last night, thankfully the babk sorted it. Upton-by-pass McDonalds. Tried calling to complain but no answer. BE CAREFUL!!

Staff is excellent... I came with very hungry but it disaapointed me that i found egg shell in wrap...😟

What sort of a shambles is this. Ordered 5 chicken select and got 9 mozzarella sticks! Is this some sort of a joke! Good job I’m not allergic to cheese!!!!

Every time i go here, the order is wrong. I go into the restaurant and the manager is shovelling chips! Try managing your staff so the orders come out right!! Young staff standing around and the manager has his head buried in the chips... Unbelievable... I just can't go here anymore

Went to McDonald's in Upton today on route to taking Sophie(dog) the woods with my sister and wife, we were greeted on the intercom by a lovely jolly voice, went to the window to find it was my Auntie Katie Wooder! great service :)

Ordered 2x sausage & egg muffins and they're the worst looking muffins I've had. Seriously, they have one job and there's barely customers in the restaurant!

Once again. One cheeseburger and one fries…. That’s all I ever order, and I still have to park and wait for 10 minutes. What’s the point of the drive thru when you can never EVER get food at the window.

Dreadful, wrong order and cold - frequently get a sausage McMuffin instead of bacon - for a restaurant these are the absolute basics, reading the other reviews I’m stunned its still open!!

McDonald's staff often get a rough time from customers, most of which is uncalled for. Unfortunately on this occasion, I had ordered a chicken burger and it tasted of bleach upon eating it. Can only assume someone had washed their hands without rinsing properly and some bleach had got into the burger. I had a sore stomach and felt sick the whole day.

Consistently bad. It’s like they’re trying to either win an award for the worst McDonald’s or they’re trying to get shut down. Management really need to get a hold of this place. They’re bloody awful and multiple complaints about missing items, and barely filled chips seem to fall on deaf ears. Go to the Prenton branch instead.

Related to my previous feedback (waiting for 30 min on the phone and rang again) , after 55 min of waiting for someone to answer the phone they finally did and after I have explained about the missing items the person just hung up Really not acceptable

Worst Maccies we have ever been too! The machines didn't give a ticket and the number screen went by so fast we didn't catch it. Waited 40mins for food only for the order to be wrong and it have no drinks. They apparently lost the ticket. Do not come here.

Always sub par food and the employees are incapable of ever getting my order right, do not recommend unless you want a lucky dip as to what food you’ll get

Appalling service, food cold never again

I know it’s only McDonalds but man this place sucks, not only do they butcher just eat orders, missing items, smashed burgers etc. But when visiting the drive thru , with only 4 or 5 customers they ALWAYS ask you to pull up at the front and you wait a minimum of 10mins! The longest I waited for a drive thru order was 25mins. ITS MEANT TO BE FAST FOOD. Complete joke of an establishment.

Arrived late, half the order was missing with no explanation had to get a refund and reorder the missing items, which means a second delivery charge, dreadful service

Went for breakfast only to wait over 30 mins. Told that the hash browns will be ready in 2 minutes. 10 minutes later call them up on it and they say we're not doing breakfast now and we have lost your order. Staff useless and haven't got a clue what's going on . Wouldn't recommend just go to another site instead. Save the trouble and get food elsewhere

Food freezing and most of the stuff delivered was wrong. Wrong burger, missing burger, 6 nuggets instead of 9, two fries missing. Absolute joke.

Placed an order and was waiting an hour and a half for delivery, came and was stone cold, missing a drink and sauces

Shocking service went around 10:30pm for McFlurrys and cheeseburger in the drive thru with no Que at all but had to wait around 10 minutes for order to even be taken and during this time the staff would constantly pause to speak to the manager as the till was not working. End up going to the McDonalds in prenton and had the McFlurrys in 5 minutes. Food is absolutely shit here always cold and never get the order right, save your money and drive an extra 5 minutes to the one in prenton.

When you order no onion.. they make you pull over and wait for 10 minutes, so they can stick their scabby little hands in a burger and half heartedly scrape *some* onions off an existing burger. At this point I think breathing unassisted is the only requirement for getting a job at McDonald's. Quality control is not permitted due them having targets to get you away from the window in alloted time.

Spent over £30 on food. pre tipped the driver £3. got about £6 worth of food stone cold and completely wrong order ( the driver didnt even give me a reciept which is normally on the bag???). just eat credited my app account with £24 odd. didnt even refund my bank account directly. like im going to use this app again... sorry really poor service.😞 would leave no stars but the minimum was 1.

Driver was near by and went in circles around another road near mine then put it down as delivered!!! Ridiculous

Food took AN HOUR AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES to arrive. Can't cancel the order once accepted. Awful service and the poor delivery driver lost out on other earnings

They give me coffee instead of hot chocolate this 3 time they got my drink order wrong

The order time kept changing was met here 4.15pm then went 4.28 and didn't get till 4.30pm cuz all miss time my food was cold

Absolutely disgusting service ordered food at 12.30 o'clock and still sitting here at 14.35 and still nothing.Wont answer the phone and if I cancel order I still get charged. Wanted it for dinner might get it for tea.

Just bought a meal from this store surprised they actually had everything we wanted usually they are out of something. The chips were disgusting, cold and hard my burger was only look warm aswel. We had to wait 15 minutes for this they must have been waiting for them to defrost. Save you money and go somewhere else always a problem here! I wouldn't mind it wasn't busy and they still couldn't get it right.
