Mbb Brassiere in Cotswold

We visited this restaurant for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised, this is a very nice restaurant with above average food. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere is very nice being able to watch the chef cook your meal. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another delicious meal.

This has been 'fitted out' - with no expense spared - fabulously inviting - we dropped in after visiting The Corn Hall & shopping at the Deli opposite which is associated with this little Eatery (which is all under the banner of the Kings Head Hotel). We had intended on a little Brunch - however the Cook chap that we asked wasn't interested in us or our enquiry whatsowver so we patiently waited for the waiter to reappear who had trotted off to deliver coffee to someone else in the Corn Hall - all charmingly friendly it seemed but - it became apparent why our first point of contact has been so dismissive as a commanding fella who we assumed was the Head Chef appeared at a doorway & he & the Cook fella were having some sort of issue, which resulted in the Cook telling anyone who wanted to listen that "he wasn't here to be spoken to like that" & proceeded to bang around his station like some sort of child?!! ~ Ooh dear - hurried group decision - we chose to just have coffee & delicious little pastry & make our way to another venue for lunch. If you are visiting this establishment you use the loo's for the adjoining Kings Head Hotel - sadly they've never been given the use of a Toilet Brush or Elbow Grease - all surface clean & no idea of presentation - completely flies in the face of the seductive setting & ambience of the Bistro?!!! Standards???

Had a wonderful meal in MBB Brasserie my husband said he enjoyed every mouthful. Delicious new menu, always great when there are so many things you would like to try and that was the case. Service was super friendly and efficient as ever. Will return soon. Thanks for a great evening.
