The exterior of the establishment is really lovely, and the food looked absolutely wonderful – we were so excited to try it. However, we were very disappointed when the staff, who were quite rude, informed us that dogs aren’t allowed inside. This was surprising, as most places in Cheltenham are dog-friendly, and we have a very small miniature dog. We live just around the corner and would have been regular customers, but after today’s experience, we sadly took our business elsewhere. Such a shame.

Went on for a bite to eat and my husband ordered a latte and a pork baguette. The coffee was made with either burnt or uncleaned coffee machine. The baguette was kid size and pork was cold

Lovely has a treat and worth the money now and then can’t fault the pork it melts in your mouth

Great home made meat products at this little cafe at the back of the shop.

It was OK. I didn't feel the kitchen was adequate for the amount of meals the lady's were expected to make, poor girls were rushed off their feet, the breakfast was plentiful. But unfortunately a couple of the ingredients had become somewhat cold, due to lack of preparation area. Hats of to the staff .disabled access and toilets.

Came here twice in two days as I really enjoyed the lunch menu. First day I had the roast pork and stuffing baguette and the second time a beef baguette. Both were really tasty and will definitely recommend. Staff were friendly. The cookie dough brownie was a highlight and can’t wait to get it again.

Food good, but service was utterly dreadful. Grouchy, unhelpful staff that don't even make eye contact. Stood there for 5 minutes before I was even spoken to - then just got a "whatcha want?" - I started to explain my lattee to be just shouted at "you'll have to bloody wait". I just left right away, and shan't be returning for another round of abusive and rude behaviour unless they hire some staff that understand the value of customer service - and frankly, basic human decency. Utterly disgusted.

If only the service wasn't dreadful here I'd visit more often. Grouchy, rude, unhelpful staff that look like they need a good holiday. Was left standing, ignored for 5 minutes (despite being the only customer in sight) - not a peep from either member of staff, until rudely asked "what you want then?" to which I replied "umm...a latte and...." before being interrupted with "you'll have to wait". I just left. Never been treated so badly in a shop before. It's a shame because the food is actually really good, but no amount of flavor takes the bitter taste of nightmarish customer service away.

Fantastic quality food to eat in or take away with you, the best bacon brie and cranberry pannini ever along with helpful friendly staff, always my go to when I'm in town 5*

Below par experience today compared to what we, as regulars, are accustomed to (4 or 5 🌟) Ordered & charged for panini though served a cold baguette sandwich (£0.70 difference); Some price tags missing; No black pudding available for breakfast; Waiter slightly over familiar/fawning.

Nice food and staff but a shame that they only have a jacket potato for a coeliac and not much choice.

The meat fillings in the sausage roll were meaty, juicy, and soft with nice fresh porky taste wrapped in a pastry. I'm not sure it was supposed to be puff or crusty because that's how I find it. Still very nice for £3.95. Latte is latte like anywhere else.

All good except I at to open them all to find out what’s inside when I asked can you write on the bag 😬

I love going here. The breakfast is delicious and so are the homemade sausage rolls. On a cold day you can't beat a takeaway hot pasty. The staff are always friendly and polite. I love the choice of cheese,sausages,scotch eggs and cooked Meats in the deli. There's nothing not to like here.

Has usual all ok 👍 I highly recommend hot pork Baguettes or wraps I have tried others but these are the best for delivery tho price is slowly rising but Has a treat now and then it’s worth it 🤩😀

Very expensive but lovely has a treat tho addictive has no one else seems to do hot roast pork baguettes but you do get a good quality meat pork loin and plenty of it the Yorkshire wraps I share with my elderly mother with roasts and veg a quick meal

Very expensive for what you get. £7 for a toasted tuna and cheese sandwich. No side salad or side with it. Will not be going back. Very expensive.

My favourite deli in Gloucestershire, the home made gloucester sausages are the best.

I usually buy a hot takeaway and food from the deli counter. Never had any problems with the food or service.

I had a chicken mayo and bacon doorstop sandwich on brown with lettuce and tomato. It was quality ingredients which really filled me up. It was £5.90 and worth every penny.

Food was good as always but a bit disappointed that the sausage was missing from the baguette and a panini is not a baguette that is grilled.

We were visiting Cheltenham one Saturday and came across this Cafe whilst in the High Street. It was very busy, but there was a table available so we thought we would try it for a brunch. Very eclectic menu, but I tried the Yorkshire Pudding wrap with turkey, stuffing and cranberry, with a side salad (and a pot of gravy!). It was really good! My partner opted for the more conventional jacket potato with cheese, beans and bacon, which was also excellent. Friendly waiting staff and very generous helpings, all at a bargain price. Very impressed.

All good tho one baguette wasn’t wrapped in Foil so not so hot must have ran out 😝

Set on the High Street This is not your average delicatessen or butchers. Luckily, we discovered it on a flying visit to town and wish we had a shop like this near us. Everything they do is absolutely top quality and we stocked up on their home-made sausages and bacon For a visit to family. This was extremely well received and, despite it being some of the best quality you could imagine, it didn’t seem expensive at all. In fact, it was so good, we treated ourselves to a full breakfast in the café part of the shop and this was fantastic too. absolutely huge, full of top quality products and filled us up for the day. All the staff in the shop were fabulous as well and I really hope we can get back there in the not too distant future.

I use this deli because is so nice to have hot roast pork plus extras but also the Yorkshire pudding wraps are very good 😊 has I’ve said it’s seems a bit expensive but it’s worth trying……, The only one issue is they don’t seem to read the notes given has I asked again for lightly cooked bacon but it was over cooked not good for elderly people with no teeth🥓 👵🏻🦷😬

My husband and I popped in for lunch last week and we were so impressed! All the ingredients were so fresh and tasted divine. Great price and lovely atmosphere too.

Lovely pork baguettes and sausage rolls with a twist May seem pricey but I’ve seen worse and you have to take into account the preparation etc before during and after not to mention the price of meats And they do put in a fair amount of meat so give it a go…..

Why can’t these places read the notes 📝 is beyond me takes all of 2 mins I’ve now used farmhouse a few times the pork is 😊 nice on a baguette with the extras so today asked them to write on the bag what’s inside so we didn’t have to unwrap them all to find the one wanted SO NO THEY write ✍🏼 on brown bag PORK ROLLS 🙄😡thing is I know this because I ordered them so still at to unwrap masses of foil to find the right one please read notes 📝

All good this time tho I must say my last review I’d done before speaking to farmhouse but I’d like to say it was nothing they done wrong 😑 just eat didn’t collect……… No probs this time so happy and I do recommend you try this place 😋👌

Pork yorkshire wrap with stuffing, crackling, gravy and apple sauce was hot, a good size and delicious! Will be popping in in person when I need lunch in town from now on.

Ordered bacon and egg baguettes but in order to complete the purchase I at to choose either stuffing crackling etc which I found weird not ever heard of having these things in breakfast baguette 🥖 so picked crackling but put on notes only choose this because it wouldn’t accept without but do not want crackling…. So they pile it in with the bacon and egg So obviously didn’t read notes I also ordered beef in Yorkshire pudding wrap which looks and smells nice Will see if it’s has good has the pork one

Was a bit worried but Lovely food and hot roast pork in a Yorkshire pud wrap never had before full and tasty 🤤 it even came with stuffing crackling gravy also ideal for putting with some roasts n veg also had baguette with pork also very nice 👌 I recommend you try this place and soon 👍👍

Love, love, love Farmhouse! I always come here when I am in Cheltenham. The staff are always happy & really friendly. The food always good & hot as are the hot drinks. The shop & cafe are always well stocked & really clean!

Good selection of hot food, but I probably should have gone elsewhere as I'm vegetarian. I ended up asking if they could do the bacon, brie and cranberry panini without the bacon, and found to my horror that it cost exactly the same despite the lack of bacon! Service was great, and it's a good vibe, but I'll stick to the places that do things I can eat.

Went here today food was lovely but the service was dire understand they were busy but was over 20 minutes to get two drinks and 2 sausage rolls.. was hardly a service with a smile. I thought the staff were miserable and not very friendly

They offer a delicious full English breakfast made with their own products. I really enjoyed it.

Deli full of good things in the front, cafe in the back, Farmhouse hides good things behind its simple facade: local produce including hams and pies, and is also now open for breakfast and lunch. The Cheltenham Farmhouse is in the pedestrianised bit of High Street. There are racks opposite to park your bicycle. Enter Farmhouse, pass the deli counter with its cornucopia of foodie goodness, and head for the back where the menu offers three different sizes of English Breakfast. I go for the Regular – fried egg, bacon, a very long and thin sausage, hash brown, mushrooms and baked beans. When I decline toast I am at once offered an extra hash brown, which is nice. There is also a coffee on the side – not included as part of the breakfast price. Vegetarian options are available. Service was good. I had: Regular breakfast £6.99 Americano coffee £1.50 Would I return? Definitely, especially to have a browse the range of deli foods available.

Girlfriend ordered a breakfast baguette with a coffee, and a bacon and egg roll with a hot chocolate. Repeated the order multiple times, and clarified the exact contents. Despite this, we only received a bacon and egg baguette with the drinks and was charged for everything. Very frustrating experience considering she tried to explain multiple times and was told it went through! Girlfriend couldn't hang around to fix it because she had to get back to work having already waited 15 minutes. Seemed like the person behind the till, who seemed new, should have been supported more by her colleagues.

Ok it's open..1 star. They serve good food ..2 stars. You can blame covid or anything else, but 3 members of staff milling around for 10 minutes not serving or speaking to waiting customers is not a good business model even in these difficult times.

We were impressed by the look of this through the window - plenty of tempting local produce - so popped In for lunch. COVID safety steps in place - clear distancing with signs in the queue, staff and customers all wearing masks except when sitting down to eat. The food was great British deli food, (cold meats cheeses, pies etc on the deli counter for sake then being used in the eat-in part) and we both enjoyed our lunch very much! Wish we didn’t live two hours + drive away...

Really good local food reasonable price

Popped in for an excellent coffee and flapjack recently. Staff great, deli really well-stocked, free sausage samples at the serving hatch. Reasonably comfortable but can they please keep the floors and table clean! Really need a full-timer with a cloth and a brush to keep on top of that, otherwise not pleasant for the customer. Otherwise super.

Called in here for a late breakfast / early lunch. I had the all-day breakfast & my wife had a bacon baguette. Superb! Our server, Tracey, was brilliant and the food was excellent. Will definitely return when we are in Cheltenham next.

This cafe was doing a roaring trade which, from the pavement, is good sign and recommendation. We waited for a table but there were plenty of staff who kept the queue moving, taking orders and bringing the food to us. We weren't disappointed with our fresh baguettes containing a delicious Gloucester Old Spot sausage filling. Whilst we were only there for a snack, the cheese counter looked impressive and it was obviously well patronised by locals and visitors alike. An excellent find!

I had a turkey baguette what with it being near Christmas and it was very tasty. Not blown away but the queue at lunch time was reassuringly long. Worth popping in and I'll be trying it again too.

It does seem ridiculous to think that there was actually a time when Farmhouse wasn't my go-to for a pork and stuffing baguette... how foolish that seems now. Whether it's the perfectly tender pork, the crunchy - but not too crunchy - crackling or simply the professional speed and friendly service with which this meaty delight is served to me, even at peak times, I find it incredibly difficult to fault this local business. A shining light of high standards, fairly priced goods and solid service for any local independent business looking to do it right. LONG LIVE FARMHOUSE.

I had a Gloucester sausage baguette. It was reasonably priced and served with a portion of salad. Well done.

Ace sandwiches, ace staff. The managed to rustle up a jam sandwich for my 3 yo who wouldn't chose anything from the menu.

Popped in with friends before work, very impressed with the sausage baguette for £3, friends went for the bacon option and that did not disappoint. Lovely lady served us and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely use next time I'm in town.
