We had a little friends reunion here tonight, turned out to be the perfect spot, great atmosphere, pleasant and modern surroundings, attentive staff but the food.. incredible! Thanks for a great night, you made our reunion special.

My friend and I were looking for a good place to eat and finding it hard to find something open when we saw Mazza's door open. The staff invited us in made us feel welcome and the food was exemplary. I have had Indian food in Orange County California before and the food at Mazza's compares and is better in certain areas: if you are vegetarian I would highly recommend the food and even if you aren't the food was delicious.

My wife and I along with two friends had a most enjoyable meal and evening in what we all feel is a first class Indian restaurant. The restaurant is well managed and it was the first meal we have had out since lockdown began. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the tables arranged in such a way that diners are kept at tables so safe distancing is adhered to. My wife and I along with our two friends sat in very comfortable chairs and at a large round table, so we were sitting away from each other at safe distance but close enough to enjoy eating together. The staff are warm and friendly and the service is excellent anlong with a great selction of food to choose from and good selection of wines, beers, and other drinks. Yesterday was my first take away from Mazza as I love eating in the restaurant. Gorgeous seating, lovely staff and excellent food. Thanks to Covid we haven’t had curry for a while and so we ordered the take away set meal for two. This came with too much to describe so would suggest you look it up on the website. A gorgeous balance of food and taste. Various curries, salads, rice, naan, and SO much more. The two of us could not finish it all, so we had the rest for lunch today. It was still yummy and fresh. so disappointed to have to write this review BUT the restaurant was emailed over a week ago and the mail has still not been addressed, I thought I would give them a chance but by emailing before reviewing still nothing. anyway I had written a 5 star review back in Feb 2020 saying that I had given up on India's in Hemel Hempstead till I found Mazza and they had surprised me to top quality food and great Flavors. Slowly Quality had gone down hill, turning up cold food, 2 hour Wait, food being forgotten off the order and I had put this down to Lockdown and that they are busier due to this.Last Saturday was the final Straw we order nearly the same things every week ish, the food was Later again never 1 hour 45mins and was yet cold again , a normal cheese nan my daughter has ever week has Onion in it ?? My Daughter Has Allergies to Onion this is Unacceptable this error is not due to being Busy in a lockdown this is kitchen error, I no Mistakes can be made That's why I've emailed the restaurant so they can but things right, not for money back , not for freebies but the Restaurant needs to look and the Allege Procedures before someone is made really ill.

Have been here c.10 times and every time you get a good standard of curry. From the standard Indian fare to specialised dishes the food is spot on.The chicken and lamb are good quality and never tough, rubbery or over cooked.Arrives on time and is fresh.

After many trial and errors in the area, Mazza is now our go to weekly Indian takeaway. The food is always cooked freshly.Chicken tikka is spot on and not too dry and full of flavour.The balti and byriani are my favourite.The rice is cooked well and tasty.Breads are soft and fluffy.Always hot and on time!

I honestly in no shape or form can fault this amazing Indian restaurant. Many a times I visited with my family and had the best evenings full of entertainment and great atmosphere. The food is cooked to the highest quality and just the best in Hemel for sure. Trust me I have tried them all. Now we are in isolation, they are home delivering, to the door step. Hot, fresh and very clean. Naj who works there takes your order and no change is impossible, if you want it hotter, less spicy or no vegetables. It’s all done no stress. Friendly and amazing. I won’t go anywhere else now. Plus all they have done for the NHS

Had our second takeaway from Mazza this month. The food is consistently good and the service excellent. One item was missing from yesterday's delivery. A quick phone call and the missing item was delivered in 15 minutes!

The Mazza is simply the Best Indian restaurant in the area.... this is our third delivery since lockdown and their food and friendly delivery service gives us a high point to look forward to. Thanks you xx

We’ve got a delivery from here a few times. Chicken is cooked well, not rubbery and full of flavour. Lots of fresh flavours. Sides are tasty and fresh. Lush. Arrives in time every time.

Myself and my friend had an amazing meal here. The service was perfect not too much or to little. They packed up the food I hadn't eaten and Ijust reheated it and I think it was even better second time round.

Really good evening. Good food, great staff, pleasant surroundings. I visited this restaurant for a men’s event so our menu choices were limited to get to a fixed price. Nevertheless the quality and presentation of food was excellent. Service was superb especially when you consider that men eating and drinking and all the banter makes for a loud and slightly chaotic situation. Everything was delivered freshly prepared and well cooked. No-one was left waiting and any little issues were dealt with. Great job!

Charity curry night for around 60 people. 3 courses. Considering the number they had to cater for, the food was of a very high standard. The plain naan bread was the best I have had at any Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in the UK. Their starter plate was varied & of good quality. The main course dishes were all extremely well cooked. Nice variation of meats & sauces. What let it all down was the very slow service. Now I know you'll say : "well what do you expect when serving 60" ? My response is that they needed 2 extra staff on for the evening. That's all.
