No sauce or cheese on my burger

Always brilliant service, yummy food and lovely people who work there. The chicken shawarma has to be my favourite along with the curries and onion bhajis. Must give it a try !!!

Ordered a few things last night. Quite possibly the worst takeaway I’ve eaten from in the last few years. Ordered and payed via just eat! Burger- bun was burnt and rock hard, took 3 bites from it and it was left, seikh kebabs were mediocre at best, over cooked if I’m to be honest but it hey weren’t that bad, chicken shawarma was soggy and soft and just tasted bland and not seasoned. Doner stirfry - I won’t even describe it. Let’s just leave it at vile. Onion rings, portion of 10 - it was a medium trey full of soggy onion rings! lol it sounds like I’m moaning but if I’m paying 25 to 30 quid for some food for two people; I expect a decent level of service and quality food. At this rate, anything out of my own cupboards was more appealing than the Takaway. The only thing I genuinely enjoyed eating out of thet trey, was the chips. Even then, asked for 2 of each sauces to be added to my bag and just got 1 chilly and 1 garlic. Shouldn’t have bothered at all or charged us in cash when you got here, since as the delivery driver was asking for cash anyway? 🤷🏽‍♂️ thinking we haven’t paid. You’d have thought the Takaway would have told the driver it’s been paid for, or he’d be given change just incase he was given two £20 notes. Or read the receipt! Instead of cabbaging my head asking for cash. I’d ring them and speak to them but unfortunately I genuinely can not be bothered trying to argue with Takaway owners and try to explain that the food they sent to me, wasn’t even fit for pissheads, let alone normal people. The one thing that was actually really nice, the red chicken tika on the Mrs’s mixed doner meal. Rest of it was bin worthy. With prices of everything reaching sky high, not many can afford Takaway’s, when we do buy one, it’s a treat for working hard all week round, for us, it’s one Takaway assuming we can afford it in week, this takeaway, ruined our weekly Takaway and I genuinely was disappointed. Not even angry, just pure disappointment! The picture I’ve posted is what went into the bin and I ended up with 2 cheese toast I grilled for my self. I won’t be ordering for here anytime soon. As we went by the reviews on just eat, looking at reviews on Google, we should have given this one a miss. Thanks for reading, if you are the owner or manager of the takeaway, I’m sorry but, I had to be honest.

Absolute waste of money! The crisply chicken fillet burger in the box meal thing was so thin, you could confuse it for a biscuit, the bun was over grilled and burnt so in turn, it was rock hard! the seikhkebabs were mediocre at best and the stirfry doner was vile. Onion rings were soggy and soft, ordered a portion, got a massive trey full which was soggy. Honestly one of the worst Takaway’s in Wakey this. Vile food. Will not order from here again. Perfect for anyone on sesh. For a meal. Vile!

Spicy Chicken burger is as advertised! Wow hot but tasty

Absolutely not what I was expecting. Cheesy stir fry donner was just donner meat with melted cheese on top, what is stir fry about that? No peppers/onions etc. 4 cheese pizza was a margarita with what looked like red Leicester sprinkled on top. All in all don't bother, don't waste your time.

Huge sharing kebab for one cuz I'm greedy. I managed 2/3 before calling it a night. Very impressed with the quality of the fries.

orded curry & samosas, curry was ok, big chapatis( dont order extra) samosas were awful, hard from repeated cooking's, filling was old .disappointing and not the first time mentioned in review .

Overcooked burgers and burnt onions. Not a clean grill as the burger was full of burnt residue

Terrible service 2 hrs late told a number of times it was on its way. After 5 phone calls it finally arrived stone cold. The driver told us he was the owner and next time we order we could have it free up to £30. Today I tried to use this to be told I had miss understood them I could have it for half price. I will never use this place again !!!

Very dissapointed with my order tonight I ordered a donner meat and chips which ended up in the bin, chips were chewy like they'd been warned up in microwave also took ages too arrive.

Small order, yet 1xchips missing, phoned as was told they would be sent straight out, food lukewarm and kebabs not wrapped to keep heat, really disappointed chips still didnt come after 30mins, £3.20 down on my order, chips still not here while im writing this, normally a great place to order from

Worst takeaway in West yorkshire

Delivery took over 1.5 hour's the meat was delicious 😋 HOWEVER I threw the chips 🍟 in the bin as they were very dry and hard

Arrived an hour late but myyy did the amount of food make up for it, chips a tad dry, but the rest of the share box was delish and very much an abundance of it, the female delivery driver to be fair was very apologetic but yea just shame it took 2 and a half hours to deliver

From ordering took 1.5 hours to make and arrive. Chicken was tasteless wrap all soggy. Donner Nan more chips and salad hardly any meat for £12.50. Overall not value for money and we have been loads of times. Won’t be going back

First time ordering, and I'm not sure what cheese they use for the pizza, but it's not for me. The toppings were fresh at least. Delivery took ages for a single pizza. Ordered at 19:27 and didn't get it till around 20:50 ish. I'm sure others may like it but not sure I'd be ordering again due to whatever cheese is used.

Pizza and burger were fine . Kebab had some of the hardest meat ever on . All really hard and ended up throwing away only good thing on it was the seekh kebab. Such a shame

Very quick service. Pizza topping great. Base seemed preprepared but was ok. Burger was good quality but bun crumbly. Chips seemed ‘old’. Overall enjoyed it but could’ve been improved by points above.

Ordered Athena gyros chicken and it was so dry I ended up giving it to my dog. Massively disappointed. Waste of money will not be returning.

Nicest pizza I've had in a long time

Worst mixed kebab I've ever had in my life. Chicken shawarma was inedible and looked like it had been cooked at least twice or more. Donner meat was dry and no taste as were the two pieces of chicken tika. Most went in the bin and will never order from there again.

never ever fail to impress me. ordered a small mixed kebab, bigger than a normal sized plate, piping hot and flavourful. always order from maypole, they never let me down

This takeaway has tried to pass kebab meat off as ham would avoid at all cost! Paid for my order and was left with nothing when I tried to dispute the fact it wasn't ham I have photos of the pizza which you can clearly see is kebab. Waste of money and time

Really enjoyed!! Wraps well-filled with large portions. Good value for money. 1/2 pound burgers had good presentation and tasted great. We collected from the shop and the staff were friendly too. Overall, will be ordering again

OMG! Where should I start from?! We ordered plate Gyros and the food was awful! The meat was so old and full of spices it was almost black! Couldn’t eat it, went straight to the bin! Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! Yaks! 🤢

Delayed the delivery, was then late, when handed it over was missing the main meal (kebab) took 10 minutes to get through to them, they promised they'd redeliver - they never did. Shocking service.

The people delivering menu's on behalf of Maypole have just walked down my street dropping them in people's gardens. Then the guy acted as though they were deaf when confronted about it. Eventually got them to go pick them up but not a good look for the business at all!

Pizza base was as thin as a wrap.. no joke... burnt underneath.. probably because it was so thin... think it was 12 pound for basically a wrap based pizza.. burger was ok..

Ordered a half and half tuna meat feast and it was lovely. Best pizza ever. Would highly recommend and will go back soon.

Unreal as always, cheese was beautiful, tomato purée was fresh, bbq chicken or pepperoni at the top of its game change nothing!
