The Salt and Pepper box for £18 is not ediable saturated in grease and to salty. Do not waste your money on it.

The chips were awful - tasted like undercooked frozen chips. The chicken wings were terrible, but the chicken sweet and sour balls were nice. unfortunately won't be back unless chips improve.

You could tell food was rushed. Al came to well over £20 and I revived half of what should have been there. Used to be a great restaurant now sadly not anymore. You close when you close! Doesn’t mean give out half asssed food.

Arrived super early tonight considering its friday, was steaming hot was lovely but I would recommend putting the 3 in 1 in a different type of tray as it makes the chips soggy with the sauce.

chips were quite hard needed cooking longer ribs were ok but cut up into little pieces very strange very hot just warning you lol

Alright food chips were abit bland only 3nuggets in the salt and pepper box and the chicken wings were dry and got 8 chicken balls instead of 10 which matters when ur spilling it between a family but they where nice

Poorly prepared food. Inside the chicken was cold and hot on the outside (dangerous) the boiled rice was cold but the chips were nice 👌

Chow mein was dry with hardly any flavour and ordered PRAWN toast only to get what looked and tasted exactly like processed chicken on toast with no prawn whatsoever! Chop suey roll slimy and barely fried too :/ used to be really good and always order the same things, what happened!?

Had a £10 off voucher so ordered Chinese should of been £28 so got it for £18 would be so disappointed if I paid £28 chicken was slimy in the meal, and chicken skewers were so dry. Wouldn’t order again for those prices

Food quality excellent. Always order from here. Chicken wings on appetizer menu have slight crisp batter on them with a peking sauce in pot to go with them . Wow!

Very disappointed bbq ribs no sauce no taste just oil at the bottom so dry not alot of meat. Chips cheese bbq sauce undercooked and so little cheese you wouldn’t know it was there a lot less sauce than normal. Chicken balls not golden brown very white not looking good at all sweet and sour sauce has changed not good. Lost a good customer won’t be back

The sweet and sour sauce has changed and it’s not as good as the old one , it’s a different colour and doesn’t taste as good as the old sauce!

Arrived late, food freezing cold and when rang up to see where my delivery was they told me they was delivering 6 orders before mine no wonder the food was cold! Customer service was disgusting

Reley lovly great flavour and lots of it. A little late on delivery but you have to expect it. 15 minutes nothing to worry about. Excellent food.

First time trying here Food was loverly had a bit of a wait but that's my fault and ordering sui mai and not ringing ahead food was piping hot the chicken chow main was huge.. the won ton noodle soup I thought was on the small side but that's just me. Polite staff to defiantly be back

If I could give a zero I would. How they can call themselves a chippy. Served oven chips. Could have gone to Asda and done better myself. Gutted they weren’t even chippy chips. Place was dead that should have been a sign. Woman didn’t even ask if we wanted salt and vinegar. If she had shown me the chips I would have thrown them back in her face, feel robbed.

Handy Chinese takeaway. Quite busy during peak time as they do both walk in and online platforms. Food is great. Portion great as well

Wouldn’t order from here again , chicken n sweetcorn soup was pretty tasteless . The chicken fried rice and barbecue spare ribs was ok , not tasty quite bland and the chips were cold so inedible . Waste of £35 !

Shocked to find quarter of the tub empty on a special chop suey. Apparently according to staff due to missing 2 prawns. Laughable. Don't bother eating from here

This take away is gorgeous. The telephone person is so helpful and the food is so fresh good. Just don't order from just eat! Phone direct, service is 100% better!

We've ordered a good year ton2 ago didn't rate it but ordered 4 times now in the past few months and omg gota say its one of the best Chinese chippy very much enjoyed and will keep coming back also lobe the fact you get a free bag of prawn crackers too everywhere charges you now

Rip off. Salt and pepper box is extortionate for what you get. Its for 2 ppl and you get 3 mini ribs and 3 wings and is a tiny portion for the price. Food is sub par and takes forever to be delivered. Never going again. Honestly thought for 25 quid I'd had the wrong food delivered!!

ordered a half chips half rice it was kids size and salt and pepper box is also ring for the money. More places out there that are just as nice and get proper portion sizes £18.50 for this is shamefull

Ive just had salt and pepper ribs from mayflower or at least thats what i ordered ,they looked more like sparrows knee caps they was less than an inch long.i will never order again from there totally dissatisfied

Bad experience. Main meal was lukewarm. Waited a long time outside while others got served before me despite ordering first. Server wasnt helpful and was more interested in phone orders rather than take mine. One server stood there eating chips rather than serve anyone.

Waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to be told it's not even left the shop. But they can ring you up to charge you extra for a dip after spend close to thirty pounds. So now we've had to head out for food and try an claim the money bk. Girl is rude on the pne. Stay clear

I was so looking forward to post lockdown takeout and I've never been soooo disappointed. Portions got a lot smaller and all food seemed to be tasteless and very greasy. Won't be ordering from Mayflower again.

Great food reasonable prices and great service

My order originally said that it would arrive at 9pm. At 9:15pm I prompted to receive an update on my order and the estimated time was updated to 9:30pm. That comes and goes and I ended getting my order at 10pm. Turns out I got the complete wrong order. Ten minutes later at 10:10pm I finally get my food. It was alright but nothing to write home about.

Love this place but would rather go to china palace for the sweet and sour chicken balls as from here they are small portions

Food was great, but the local area with its youths hanging about it made me nervous, I don't mind admitting. Can't fault the food and the service though
