Maya's Craft Bakery in Bexley

8 of us had dinner on Friday night, we all enjoyed our food, wine, beer and cocktails. Once we'd finished eating they invited us to use their Karaoke and we partied on for a few hours. It was a really great night. Definitely going back for more.

Mayas craft bakery is now open for dinner and I thought that I would give it a try. I went along with my son and asked for a selection of starters . These consisted of breaded prawns,calamari and a spicy mutton roll. All of these were very tasty and I would have them all again. For the main course I had lamb chops and my son had spicy breast of chicken. Both of these were excellent . The restaurant is now licensed with two lagers on draft and other bottled beers. Wine is also available.

Worryingly very good in fact. We have been struggling to find a decent cafe in Bexleyheath since our local in Pickford Lane closed but we accidently ended up in Maya's Craft Bakery a couple of months ago. In fact I'm loathe to review it because I don't want to go there and not be able to get a table if its busy. Service is really very good, really good quality food too, and really friendly service at a great price. This place deserves to be busy, it is head and shoulders above everywhere else we've tried. Please don't go there and take my table.

Seriously lacking in atmosphere and quality. The waitress was really smiley, friendly and lovely though.

I love this place and l always come back. Food and drinks are so delicious. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. It’s a very clean place and the toilet is very clean. I highly recommend this place and it is very easy to locate and very chill place to have all types of foods with your beloved ones. What you waiting for just check it out.

Visited here to try the vegan breakfast and we were not disappointed! Lovely food, coffee and cake and the cafe is really well laid out, with comfortable booth seating and great ambience. Background music was spot on and the owner was welcoming. Will definitely be returning on a regular basis! :-)

Fantastic place to eat, a great find & great addition to Bexleyheath. This is my 2nd visit and didn't disappoint. The food is wholesome & the menu is varied. And the staff are so friendly. The vegetarion breakfast is the best I've had, so delicious & would definitely recommend. I can't recommend this cafe highly enough...the only place to eat in Bexleyheath ☺️ And important to support local business too.

The best breakfast in Bexleyheath served with a smile. This is an extensive menu catering for all tastes . The sausages are meaty unlike the usual catering sausages which are full of rusk and whatever . The coffee is excellent and the surroundings are pleasant ( a good percentage of the art sales go to great ormond street hospital. On my last visit the card machine went down and the owner told me not to worry and pay next time which I thought was a nice gesture

We have eaten at this place twice in one weekend, both visits far exceeded expectations. The venue is clean, staff really friendly but above all the food is exceptional. All meals we ,have had have been delicious. I am shocked my the 2 negative reviews, this could not have been any further from our experience. It's a love addition to Bexleyheath. So lets get behind it and support it!!!!

Came here after lockdown/before tier 4. Menu quite extensive and they offer vegie options as well. Nice and fresh food when served and tasty coffee. I def recommend. A must go in bexleyheath area.

I came here by chance once, and I've not stopped visiting. This is a bakery/cafe, that serves hot brunch/lunch, cakes and drinks. The staff are incredible hospitable and when I was pregnant, they couldn't have done more for me on my visits. The sourdough and avocado breakfast is to die for, as are the cakes and coffees. There's a very nice atmosphere here, the staff are incredibly polite and the place is always very busy. I have never seen any negative behaviour take place here, so reading the reviews below almost don't make sense. The owner is genuinely a warm person who has time to ask you how you're doing. I will return!

... and there are a lot to choose from! I come to this cafe every Sunday for their vegetarian breakfast. I can't fault it, the food is lovely and the staff are friendly and attentive. I come both alone and meet family here including my young granddaughter and we are always happy. I've also had lunch here - the sea bass particularly was delicious. I've never left a review before but felt that I needed to counter a couple of reviews on here, this is a lovely cafe - give it a try.

I loved the place, location food atmosphere and most importantly the wonderful staff. We are a family of 4 and had breakfast.Honestly good food and great service. The staff there was very friendly and corporative. The place must visit in Bexleyheath as it is like a home restaurant. Thank you !

We just been the the restaurant cafe n it is my worst experience ever in term of behaviour... the staff called me rude and stupid... I did not use a single word which could have made him upset rather the staff who claimed as owner of the business refused to give his name though started being aggressive when I asked for a second glass of water when he brought a single glass oh water after requesting for water. We were 2 me n my wife but he brought one glass of water. The food was served after about half an hour as found out they are busy doing just eat delivery leaving us waiting. Anyway when I told him he cannot behave like this he said what did he do wrong? When told him to check his cctv he refused n I had to say if he continues then have to call police. I didnot eat but asked for the bill n paid. My wife then asked for the food To pack. Surely this sort of insult calling rude, stupid is no way acceptable.

The pictures are false. The food is stale like the very old oranges he makes orange juice from. The cake is hard and unedible. It is expensive without coming up with the goods.No one eats there, has no atmos. and the woman and the other staff is nosy and rude.

The cafe is cosy and low key though just started will improve in customer numbers. The owner is very friendly and the coffee nice and macaroons delicious. Some nice paintings on the wall including mine. Lovely cafe.

This place is an absolute gem! Visited here with my partner for lunch and the food was good and he staff super friendly! The food was incredibley fresh and the homemade cakes to die for. I really hope this place does well as I for one will definitely be visiting again!

Great food and super friendly staff. You can really taste the quality of the food and coffee. I had the vegetarian breakfast. Would 100% recommend.

I love this place so much! The food is delicious and tastes so fresh. I've had the poached eggs, smashed avocado on sourdough bread and the toasted ham and cheese sandwich before and both were amazing! The staff are so friendly. Everything is very reasonably priced especially for the high quality and the atmosphere is also so peaceful. Will definitely return!

Best coffee shop in Bexleyheath, they do the best breakfast and brunch dishes and great selection of breads and cakes. Also sell local artists work with some proceeds going to charity. The waiter is really friendly too.

Love this place, very friendly and food is fantastic. My son loves the cakes and they do little ones you can mix and match so he has tried them all.

This is a little bakery which does pastries, bread and food. Lovely owners, great food and good coffee.

I keep coming back, they make the best cup of tea. The toasted sandwiches, snacks and cakes are also excellent. With friendly efficient service and a very homely atmosphere. It’s my favourite cafe in town.

Breakfast in here is never a disappointment. Freshly prepared to order, artisan bread and fabulous coffee. Always worth a visit.
