Maya Pub in Harrow

Went to Maya to try their take on Nepalese food previously only available to me in Plumstead, a hub for the Nepalese community in the UK. Firstly, the ambience was very nice with lots of paintings and photographs giving an authentic vibe. Also, there was live music from a Nepalese singer which was a nice touch. The starters comprised of Chicken Lollipop, extra spicy Chicken Wings and Sizzling Prawns. I did not have the prawns but my friend assured me they were great. The other two starters were good too. Now the mains, Goat Curry on the bone and Chicken Curry with Rotis and plain rice. Both dishes were on point and it was a pleasant surprise to see Goat Curry available in Harrow!! All the starters and mains were polished off to the point we were stuffed. The lady who took our orders and worked the bar was very polite and helpful. Maya is a hidden gem that deserves more exposure. People in Harrow do not realise what an amazing Nepalese Restaurant they have within their locality. I will definately be visiting again soon!

Fabulous find of a local Nepalese restaurant/bar. Authentic Nepalese dishes which truly taste amazing. Staff were polite and very attentive. The owner also came to our table and recommend a few dishes which were all amazing. The dry Chilli Momo and Goat curry were the stand out dishes. Will definitely return again soon.

Excellent if you like newari nepali food. The choila is very good. We had a newari set which had a lot of variety. Please try the newari platter/ khaja set

Fui allí recientemente con mis amigos y me decepcionó tanto la comida que ni siquiera puedo decir. Sentí que mi dinero se había desperdiciado. El chatpate fue el peor "demasiado salado". Nunca los volveré a visitar hasta que mejoren su comida. El baño de mujeres también estaba muy sucio. por favor mantenga sus baños higiénicos con controles regulares.

Muy buen ambiente con música en vivo y deliciosos alimentos. Selección de bebidas. Personal amable y atento.

Excelente comida y servicio de primera clase. . Lo mejor de la comida. ¡Me divertí mucho con la victoria de la Copa Mundial de Cricket de Inglaterra! ! !
