Always a huge shame when I visit family and they order from here. Flavourless every time. Avoid at all costs.

Really tasty food. I’ve ordered from here a few times now. Haven’t been disappointed

That’s the last time now . 3rd meal on the trot that we’ve had a bad meal from here can’t even get a chowmaine right it was mushey and taste awful stay away

Everything was lovely other than the crispy chilli beef, it was dry, chewy and tasteless. Will probably stop ordering this dish from now, on as it’s now the second time we’ve found this

Food is always excellent been using them for years and wouldn't go anywhere else for take away Chinese food. Service is always superb and fast! As for atmosphere? It's a shop! You wait for your food, although not for long! What else is there to say? 😀

Lovely food. Prepared for collection within about 10mins from our call. Collections are cash only - which is perfect #cashisking. Receipt given too. Thank you, we'll be back.

Wasn't fresh smelt werid normally my go to but not no more

Prices increased. Meagre meat portions. Greasy noodles with a few bits of meat on top. Was very disappointing.

Good quality food. Definitely try the traditional pancake roll. I have to say now the prices aren't so reasonable.

Food was very bland, especially the Lamb Chow mein, no soy sauce flavor, no seasoning, lamb is chewy and Bland,. Sechuan chicken bulked out by too many water chestnuts and mushrooms,, bamboo shoots and carrots, was more like a mix veg dish than sechuan chicken and it wasn't even spicy, slightly more flavor but the best tasting thing was the hot and sour soup. For £20.30 for Bland food I won't be back again and that's my 1st time.

Completely wrong order and was Discusting if I wanted boiled veg and ruce I woyld of asked for it . special fried rice and chicken balls is what I ordered . I got boiled veg and rice with samosas and curry sauce. Not going to be ordering from you again and will tell my mates not either.

Food has always been good . Very clean .good service.

Disappointed with *Singapore Style Fried Rice* description says “Chilli hot & spicy” I didn’t expect what tasted like too much Indian curry powder, ruined what I’d normally say would be a good dish, never mind I will find another place to order in the future :(

Just waited 25 minutes in stores after being told to come down after 10 minutes, so 35 minutes waiting, and they offered me, a can of coke, disgusting.

Have used this place many times now, mainly for delivery and it seems to be getting better and better ..... food order tonight was deliverered within 15 minutes and tasted fab ........ i'm well happy

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! My boyfriend, his family and I placed a decent size order. One of the things we ordered was BBQ ribs… I took one bite of a rib and it tasted nothing like BBQ.. it tasted like strong salt? Well BBQ is meant to be sweet isn’t it not? I couldn’t taste it at all. I asked my boyfriend to try som of the same rib to check I wasn’t going crazy and his reaction was ‘yuk what is that flavour??’ So I called the restaurant up straight away to tell them and asked if I could drive up to exchange them for honey ribs. Which was nice of me considering we had the food home delivered in the first place… I drove all the way there, walked in and handed the ribs over.. and the lady just took the box off me and stared at the ribs.. No apology to say ‘sorry they taste nothing like bbq’ .. and no ‘thank you for driving down’ .. no offer for a refund… the lady just accused me of eating half the ribs? Why would I carry on eating something I don’t like the taste off and I am returning? The box was FULL minus the one myself and my boyfriend had a bite off as I wouldn’t return a half eaten rib… How about apologising to your customers and working on making your food taste how it actually should? It was not nice at all. Trust me when I tell you the negative reviews on the food and customer service are 100% accurate. Will not ever be ordering from this place again.

The worst food we ever had, all landed in the bin. Was looking horrible and tasted like nothing. Waiting time was over 2 hours. Avoid it !!!!

Should concentrate on the people who collect the meal..was told 20 mins to collect.got to shop and another 20 mins wait while staff were argueing about deliverys.and a please and thank you would of been nice. October 2012.total waste of time if you can not get the order right dont take the order

May Sek offer high quality cooked food - well cooked at an affordable price

Home delivery ordered by 5pm for 6.15 delivery Just eat app keeps you updated but by 6.45 still not arrived. Rang Maysek to find out where it was & they just repeat it's with the driver. They do not want know anything else or offer any help. Very poor service by staff. Driver just kept blaming the restaurant. On the plus side the food was nice.

Not a good experience yet again, obviously a victim of their own success quality has suffered as they have got busier trying to answer phone whilst trying to take my order over counter and got it wrong ,recent orders have been substandard with twice cooked prawn balls that were inedible ,cold chowmien deliveroo seems to take priority over old customers who have supported the business for many years. gave benefit of the doubt twice but no more such a pity used to be very nice

I had my delivery 1 hour ago, but not impressed at all. 8 pieces prawns for £7.80, squid same just few pieces more than the prawns and wasn't cooked fresh. Generally I spend good amount of money and I had to dig up in the fridge to finish my dinner. I had today and don't think I will come back again

Nice food and friendly staff, deliveries are covid friendly and tge driver leaves the stuff by the door after ringing, good selection of food at good prices. Parking is available if you visit and there is plenty of room if you are waiting for food

Good food but long wait for delivery

Brilliant service from this restaurant - meals booked through Just Eat delivered on time, the menu is excellent and the food superb. A real life line when staying in a local hotel and wanting to stay way from public dining areas due to Covid. I'll be eating from their menu again next time I'm in town.

Ordered a takeaway from this place and was promised 45 minutes delivery. It eventually turned up after an hour and 45 minutes. No contact from the restaurant, no apology from the driver. And the food was very average. Don’t bother to use this place!

Really disappointed with the service. Food ordered for 6.30 received a text at 6.15 to say meal was on its way. The food eventuality arrived 30 minutes later. It was cold. When contacted the Take Away were rude and unhelpful. The service has significantly deteriorated of late.

Our first takeaway from here and absolutely loved it. Delicious rice dishes, crispy squid and green Thai curry.

Really a very good takeaway restaurant, fair price and good taste. All of these cost about 28 pounds. Shrimp fried rice has a lot of shrimps in it, and teriyaki lamb also very good with good lamb meat. The quantity is fair for 2-3 people.

Great service, only downside is that they are closed on Monday.

Food is really tasty... a bit pricey, when you add on the 50p card charge and £2 delivery it all adds to the cost. Would recommend.

I went in earlier to order a takeaway and was verbally abused by a man behind the counter. I asked for some food with chilli and garlic and was told "I don't have any chilli and garlic, go to the indian store and ask them!" I am completely shocked by this behaviour, it was bordering on racial abuse as I am Indian myself!!! I will most certainly not be returning ever again to a racist chinese!

Oh no! Just after loving this restaurant they let me down. All is good-although the chips could be a little crisper and softer-but I ordered a CURRY SAUCE for my dry meal. What arrived was almost black and resembled my Hot and Sour Soup. I stared at my wife’s chicken curry with light brown sauce and couldn’t compare it. What the Flip? What on earth did you give me! Ruined my meal with no sauce. Please tell me it was a big mistake! Very disappointed!

Been using this takeaway restaurant for over 10 years, and have felt lucky to have such a good one. It did have a blip a few years ago for a short period, but got back to better than before. Really sad now to report that not only have the prices gone up, but the portions have got smaller and the meat was very chewy in both the pork dish and the beef dish that we had. What a shame.

just had to stop eating to write this. my food arrived faster than the time predicted...it was piping hot and hands down the best chinese i have ever had. the veg singapore rice is easily the best vegetarian dish i have ever tasted. well done may sek 2 very happy customers !!

This was my favourite Chinese but since it changed hands I hate it.
