Oh dear. Not great really. This cost £49.50 for two rice two main dishes pork balls, crispy duck and prawn crackers. The egg fried rice didn’t have any egg in it or very little and a bit greasy. The pork balls didn’t taste great. Not very crispy and I think they use either cheap oil to fry or it’s old oil. The balls had a tainted taste and greasy. The crispy duck wasn’t crispy at all. Lots of bone shards in it and the main bones were left in. Again very greasy. The pancakes were packed in with the duck and covered in grease. So sorry to say I doubt I’d buy again from here. The only good thing is the order was complete.

Nice lady who took our phone order but food was disappointing. Chicken chow mein lacked taste. Tofu was very dry and tough. Egg fried rice was nice.

We ordered a variety of dishes on the phone with a very pleasant young lady and the order was quickly ready for us to collect and it all smelt enticing. There’s a single yellow line on the road outside but we didn’t stop there for too long. It was all still good and hot when we got home after a fifteen minute drive and we tucked in enthusiastically. All of the food was very good. Maybe a little more spice in the dishes marked as “spicy” and a bit more egg in the egg fried rice would have been nice and the chicken was strangely cubed but we enjoyed our meal and will certainly return. Note that the prices have risen slightly from their website and the photo with this listing.

1 Gathen TerraceVery busy on a Saturday evening - worth ordering ahead to avoid a wait. My prawns with ginger and spring onion was as good as I've ever had and my son enjoyed chicken fried rice.

17 Water StThis was terrible food! Should be called Kwong Yuck instead! Sweet and sour pork was thick batter,tough and dry pork,the sweet and sour sauce was awful, nothing like it should be ! Shocking! The Beef fried rice was disgusting couldnt eat it as it smelled and tasted BURNT!! Absolutely disgusting! Went to the bin!! Chow mein wasnt great either! Lets say the foxes will have a great meal on our way through the counrty roads as we didn't. Awfull will never ever go back and I would advise anyone else to stay far clear of this awfull food.
