If your in North Devon, put this on your 'to do' list... Lovely cafe/Tea rooms in Croyde, great service. Enjoyed the cream tea scones and the cream cheese and pickle savoury scones. A wonderfully quaint old English tea room run by equally wonderful staff. Perfect food on a lovely sunny Sunday -thankyou!

We visited as a family of four earlier this week and had a delicious full cream tea at May Cottage. Great choice of sandwiches, freshly baked scone with cream and jam, choice of cake and pots of tea. All beautifully presented and delivered to the table by the lovely, attentive host who just makes the experience extra special. Such good value that we had to take our cake home with us as couldn’t finish it all! Highly recommend visiting this little gem of a tea room in the beautiful little village of Croyde. Cannot wait to visit again!

Visiting from London to surf and was recommended this place by another local village business and trust me it was the best recommendation. Beautiful interior lovely China tea cups and the best scone I’ve ever eaten (baked freshly by the owner I may add)with genuinely the sweetest service you’ll find. My friend had a toasted cheese ham and egg toastie which again was fresh and very very flavourful . If your ever in the area please don’t miss the opportunity to visit this wonderful little tearoom and get a real flavour of Devon . Look forward to my return

The house is lived in by the tea room owner and the cakes all hone made. We sat in the front garden among the scented lavender and watched the world and horse riders pass bye. It is incredibly relaxing and hearing the babble if the brook on the other side of the street is soothing. An oasis of tradition calm away from the hustle of the other modern cafes in the town. Absolutely fantastic. We were given an afternoon tea for a present and Caffyns Farm was the closest for us in Plymouth. The food was amazing, and very generous portions too, we came home with a doggy bag. There's a lovely warm & welcoming atmosphere, all the staff were absolutely lovely and it's very clean and tidy. Only criticism is that the toilets are upstairs (i walk with crutches). They also offer camping facilities and horse riding, not to mention feeding the goats in Goat Cafe lol while admiring the gorgeous views. Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere nice, chilled and peaceful. Was well worth the 2 hour drive. Will definitely be going back in the future 😊😊
