Amazing homely food and service cheap but tasty , however can never get a hold of the take away has the number changed ?

no food and no service so can't give any stars ! ordered food payment made and taken by paypal, waited for restaurant to confirm order but nothing happened,tried phoning but phone line go's dead straight away, wouldn't mind but they had emailed me a discount code to use, will be avoiding in the future !

The pizza base was too thick and the pizza itself was cold.

perfect! me and my mum get our burgers from here and it’s the best burgers we have ever tried and there’s no other better place than here!

late delivery, app said on its way, but arrived 40 minutes later, chips were cold. we got the shashlick, usually spot on but tonight everything in it was chopped up into tiny pieces, rather than the usual chunky peppers and chicken.

I made my order with Mava’s at 7:15pm. The information I was given said that my order would be delivered between 7:50pm and 8:00pm. It got to 8:30pm and my husband rang the takeaway to see where our order was as he was due to leave for work soon. They told me the driver was minutes away. The driver then did not turn up until 8:55pm. By then our food was cold and had to be warmed up in the oven. I have never had an issue with them until tonight and we are utterly disappointed

The food was outstanding.Very hot,salad was very fresh and chrunchie. Very well presented has always,thay take great care and always listen to their customers needs.

Over an hour late. Cold food. Waited 20 minutes outside for the driver as he asked me too. Really really bad service. WILL NOT BE USING AGAIN!!!!

Order with caution. Food delivered over 2 hours after ordering. Calling the restaurant they say be there in a few minutes. 20 minutes later no sign of the delivery driver. Food arrive lukewarm, very disappointing and they charged £4 for the delivery. Maybe better if collection as the food is normally okay.

Driver took longer that 2 hours to get here when its a 30 minute drive at most from mavas to my flat and when he got here there was a can of tango orange missing and food was stone cold

The food tonight was exceptional. Hot,fresh, great portion size, Great customer service. Delivery guy polite and always on time. Very happy ,what a great meal to share just before all the Christmas stuff.100% order again and would recommend every time.

Rang up to place an order for 2 pizzas. Within 15 mins it was delivered to my door steaming hot which is brilliant. The pizza was thick and they defo didnt shy away from toppings. Pocket friendly and Great quality. Defo will reccomend!!!

Food portions was very small, normal portion of chips had 20 chips. Also they have changed the wings, please change it back to how it was before. But other than that it was great. Please increase the portions with prices that you have.

Consistently high quality food and service at a more than reasonable price. Despite being relatively far from my location food is always delivered on time (sometimes early) by friendly delivery drivers, and the meal is always still hot.

Everything was soggy and just didn't taste good.

Never again, was horrible. Uncooked, cold, soggy and just tasteless. Do yourself a favour and avoid at all costs

This is the very last time I order from here... three times in a row they have now missed items and have been told only for them to keep doing it. Food either burnt or under cooked. They have lost a good customer now.

Unfortunately my chips were extremely over cooked and freezing cold. My burger was wrong. I asked for pineapple but I got a load of onions and maya. Also cold. Extremely disappointed

Ordered via the company’s website paid via applepay order disappeared and money not refunded been ringing since 4pm to rectify this as I haven’t received food or refund they don’t even answer calls Just goes to voicemail I will be calling up from my money back off you aren’t accepting orders turn you’re devices off via the settings so people don’t loose money

Very bad customer service!! They didn't deliver my chips and the lady hung up on me when I complained. The delivery guy didn't even have enough change and he just drove off after giving me less change. When she finally decided to listen to me. She told me to sort with Just eat. Horrible food too

Took 2 hours to bring a pizza and chips 10 minutes up the road. Arrived freezing with the delivery driver having no idea what my order is and the proceeding to leave out the sauces and drinks despite me specifying that I’d ordered them.

Food arrived cold. Was supposed to be 30 mins delivery arrived 1 late. Ordered garlic tomato bread got garlic bread. Ordered chili sauce non came. Very disappointed this time.

Never got the food rang a kebab was told 40 minutes , 1 hour and 15 minutes later I ring back and told anitger 10 minutes I'm not sure how a place 5 minute drive away can take so long to put donner meat into a naan bread on a Monday night

Normally have no issues but food was almost half an hour late, when I called the restaurant the guy I spoke to said he’d ring the driver then call me back but he didn’t. Good then turned up, clearly it had been forgotten about, the can of pop had soaked through the pizza box, chips and pizza were cold and can of pop was warm.

Ordered King Kebab with 1.5l Pepsi and 2 extra tubs of Garlic Sauce. THIS give you value for money. Its enough food for 3 people and everything in the mix taste Great. Wanna have a fiest with friends or enough Leftovers til the day after for yourself, you can't go wrong with this order. Will order again 😋

If you’re looking for a litre of oil with your food then this is the best place for that. Ordered a burger and chips and as a added bonus got a litre of oil free.

ORDERED MAVAS PLATTER MEAL HAVE TO SAY THE CHICKEN PIECES ARE SEASONED AND COOKES AMAZING . THE WINGS ARE THE BEST WINGS I HAVE EVER HAD COOKED PERFECT CLEAN CHICKEN STRAIGHT OFF THE BONE PIZZA MIX GRILL TALKS FOR IT SELF . BURGERS ARE 10/10 FRIES ARE CRISPY OUTSIDE SOFT INSIDE AND DRINK IS NICE AND COLD WILL RECOMMEND THIS FILL 4-5 PEOPLE 10/10

Mava's Special pizza is always a hit with my family now. Lovely tasty pizzas with a nice thin crispy base which is a joy to bite into. Reasonable prices and friendly staff serving. Only criticism is that it doesn't look very presentable inside so could do with revamping the place a bit to make it look more appealing for customers who have never been before which is why I have removed a star. Otherwise keep up the standards with the quality of the pizzas. Unfortunately can't comment on the rest of the food that's on the menu as I have never tried it. I love my pizzas and I have tried majority of the local takeaways in the Dewsbury/Batley area but Mava's pizzas in particular I have to say are one of the best I have had for those that are a fan of the thin crust like myself. :)

Ordered from here before they moved. No problem. Started ordering from new place. Was all really nice. Good was hot. Twice now it's taken hour and half and was cold. I'm done. Did get a free pizza free for the inconvenience. Day after cold. Never ordering from here again!!!

Its the first time we tried Mavas and have to say its definitely worth it! The king kebab was delicious 😋 and so was the the Mava special pizza. Brother Hassan who takes orders gives great customer service

Over 90 mins for few burgers to be delivered and when they came it was cold and tasteless Joke service

Order & 6.15 arrived & 6.40 food was absolutely amazing. 1st time ordering will defo order again. The portion was massive only got to eat half of the mixed kebab. If you haven't already eaten here I highly recommend you do.
