Fishano's in Kirklees

Disgusting donner meat and fish and chips were awful fish soaking in oil. 0 out of 10 only thing good was customer service. I drive past this place for years so I thought I try out being local business. Mistake or what....

I wouldn't recommend the fish and chips but the wraps are really good. The prices are ok too

I have been coming to fishanos for years and it never fails to impress me! The fish and chips are cooked to perfection has such a nice fresh taste to it can’t fault it one of the best fish n chip shops in my opinion 🤩

Been coming for years i was short of 10p I told them I will come back and drop it off but owner said no i said I’m a regular I’m not going to run off with 10p no customer loyalty will be going elsewhere now on.

I disagree with the reviews of recent to moan oily food. The chips were fresh and cooked wonderful. Not oily at all. By large portion for a standard size The chicken burger. The fillet was thin but large diameter with good amount of salad with red salt and sauce. With a can for£4.80 only who can moan about that . Or fish and chips only£6.90 is a bargain in 2023. The place is very clean.. The owner clearly takes pride with passion in cooking properly all the food I saw with exceptional clean area with food hygiene. Credit cards are all accepted. A great experience to have the dinner here this evening.

Gota say there fish and chips are well nice from here and just across to were i work 👍🏽

I go here now and again or when ever I'm in the mood for a fish and chips, lovely people and great food every time, I pay close attention to my food especially when im paying for it and I can say Fishanos has not failed but only keeps on getting better.

They serve pollock which is great, needed an extra 30 seconds or so in the fryer and then draining. Just a bit of patience

Worst chippy in Yorkshire easily. Can not cook, lumpy gravy. Should be closed, would not feed this to a rat. Anyone that has given a good review is obviously not telling the truth or just has no taste buds and has never eating anything else

Definitely do not recommend. Clearly in the wrong job as cooking is not for them. Horrible food bland is an understatement

Just had food from here 2pm on a Thursday, chips 2 sausage, curry sauce and a bottle of Coca-Cola £6.20 very good price food fresh cooked while I waited staff very friendly and helpful, I would definitely come back again for traditional fish and chip pie, lovely stuff.

Recommended the large fish, you will go back time and then me again 5*****

I ordered from here this evening, not happy! Ordered 3 fish & chips and 1 fishcake & chips. Instead of recieving a proper fishcake, which should be round in shape with miced fish and mashed potatoes in it. I recieved a small portion of battered fish. The man also put in one tub of mushy peas and 2 tubs of curry sauce. I never even asked for curry sauce, none of my family like it. But ofcourse the man insisted i was wrong and that i had asked for them! Not to mention he charged me more when i went to pick the food up. Rude & unprofessional customer service. That is not how you treat your customers. I will definitely not be ordering from here again!

Came all the way from London to find it closed on a Friday evening. We will never know if it was good or not.

Not much to say about this place, simple menu but delicious! Small place, clean and tidy, good food, very nice place to get some nice fish and chips. Friendly and helpful staff. Worth trying.
